Several incidence theorems of planar projective geometry are considered. It is demonstrated that generalizations of the Pascal
theorem due to Mobius give rise to the double cross-ratio equation and the Hietarinta equation. The construction corresponding
to the double cross-ratio equation is a reduction to a conic section of some planar configuration (203154). This configuration provides a correct definition of the multi-dimensional quadrilateral lattices on the plane. 相似文献

Let $S$ be a $d$-dimensional separoid of $(k-1)(d+1)+1$ convex sets
in some "large-dimensional" Euclidean space $\E^N$. We prove a theorem that can be interpreted as follows: if the separoid
$S$ can be mapped with a monomorphism to a $d$-dimensional separoid of points $P$ in general position, then there exists a
$k$-colouring $\varsigma\colon \ S\to K_k$ such that, for each pair of colours $i,j\in K_k$, the convex hulls of their preimages
do intersect---they are not separated. Here, by a monomorphism we mean an injective function such that the preimage of separated
sets are separated. In a sense, this result is "dual" to the Hadwiger-type theorems proved by Goodman and Pollack (1988)
and Arocha et al. (2002). We also introduce $\T(k,d)$, the minimum number $n$ such that all $d$-dimensional separoids of order
at least $n$ can be $k$-coloured as before. By means of examples and explicit colourings, we show that for all $k>2$ and $d>0$,
\[(k-1)(d+1)+1<\T(k,d)<{k\choose2}(d+1)+1.\]
Furthermore, by means of a probabilistic argument, we show that for each $d$ there exists a constant $C=C(d)$ such that for

This article presents extensions of the Cramér-Wold theorem to measures that may have infinite mass near the origin. Corresponding
results for sequences of measures are presented together with examples showing that the assumptions imposed are sharp. The
extensions build on a number of results and methods concerned with injectivity properties of the Radon transform. Using a
few tools from distribution theory and Fourier analysis we show that the presented injectivity results for the Radon transform
lead to Cramér-Wold type results for measures. One purpose of this article is to contribute to making known to probabilists

The existence of a zero for a holomorphic functions on a ball or on a rectangle under some sign conditions on the boundary generalizing Bolzano's ones for real functions on an interval is deduced in a very simple way from Cauchy's theorem for holomorphic functions.A more complicated proof,using Cauchy's argument principle,provides uniqueness of the zero,when the sign conditions on the boundary are strict.Applications are given to corresponding Brouwer fixed point theorems for holomorphic functions.Extensions to holomorphic mappings from Cn to Cn are obtained using Brouwer degree. 相似文献
