PHANTOM MAPS AND SPACES OF THE SAME {\tf n}-TYPE FOR ALL {\tf n}

After reviewing the theory of phantom maps and SNT, the author gives several general results which relate the theory of phantom maps and SNT and which extend that of Harper and Roitberg.     

PHANTOM MAPS,COGROUPS AND THE SUSPENSION MAP

ABSTRACT

The set Ph(X, Y) of pointed homotopy classes of phantom maps from X to Y admits a natural group structure if either Y is a grouplike space or X is a cogroup. In the present paper, the group structure on Ph(X,Y) is examined in the second case. (The first case was examined in an earlier paper.) The results in the two cases are similar—for instance, the group structure turns out to be abelian, divisible and independent of the grouplike structure on Y or the cogroup structure on X—but the techniques used to establish the results differ substantially in the two cases.

In addition, a study of the map g*: Ph(X,Y₁) → Ph(X,Y₂) induced by a map g: Y₁ → Y₂ of grouplike spaces is initiated. A particularly interesting special case of this situation is the suspension map Ph(X, Y) → Ph(X, ΩσY) ? Ph(σX, σY) with Y a grouplike space.

带两个形状参数的同次Bézier曲线

构造了一种带两个形状参数的Bézier型曲线,并研究了该曲线的性质、形状参数对曲线的影响及曲线的拼接.所提出的曲线是多项式Bezier曲线的一种同次新扩展,不仅具有传统Bézier曲线的诸多性质,而且可通过修改两个形状参数的取值对其形状进行调节.由于所提出的曲线是一种带有形状参数且与传统Bézier曲线具有相似性质的同次多项式模型,因此比现有的一些带形状参数的Bézier型曲线更有优势.     

靶流形为球面子流形的调和映射的量子化现象(英文)

本文研究了调和映射和极小子流形的量子化性质.通过运用谱分解方法,获得了靶流形为球面子流形的调和映射的量子化性质,然后将其应用到球面的极小子流形的高斯映射,得到了极小子流形的第二基本形式的量子化性子.

混合范数空间中函数的Taylor系数

本文研究了混合范数空间Ｈ（ｐ，ｑ，ａ）中解析函数ｆ的Ｔａｙｌｏｒ系数，对０＜ｐ≤２，０＜ｑ＜∞，ａ＞０和２≤ｐ＜∞，０＜ｑ＜∞，ａ＞０两种情形，分别给出了ｆ属于Ｈ（ｐ，ｑ，ａ）的必要条件和充分条件。用上述结果我们还得到了几个关于混合范数空间的乘子定理，这些结果也推广了Ｈａｒｄｙ和Ｌｉｔｔｌｅｗｏｏｄ关于Ｈ＾ｐ空间的相应结论。

VANISHING THEOREMS FOR ACH KAHLER MANIFOLDS AND HARMONIC MAPS

We discuss a class of complete Kaihler manifolds which are asymptotically complex hyperbolic near infinity. The main result is vanishing theorems for the second L2 cohomology of such manifolds when it has positive spectrum. We also generalize the result to the weighted Poincare inequality case and establish a vanishing theorem provided that the weighted function p is of sub-quadratic growth of the distance function. We also obtain a vanishing theorem of harmonic maps on manifolds which satisfies the weighted Poincare inequality.

For quivers with no directed cycles, the concept of fluidification is defined and used to prove that, under corresponding assumptions, the Tietze extension theorem for diagrams of topological spaces modeled on such quivers holds. Another application of the given concept of fluidification -is a characterization of certain diagrams of proper maps.
