Composite Integers n for Which φ（n）｜n- 1

In this note, we show that the number of composite integers n ≤ x such that φ（n）｜n - 1 is at most O（x^1/2（loglog x）^1/2）, thus improving earlier results by Pomerance and by Shan.     

关于非牛顿流体衰减性的一个注记

In the study of long time asymptotic behaviors of the solutions to a class system of the incompressible non-Newtonian fluid flows in R3, it is proved that the weak solutions decay in L2 norm at (1+t) and the error of difference between non-Newtonian fluid and linear equation is also investigated. The findings are mainly based on the classic Fourier splitting methods.     

Frame Wavelets with Compact Supports for L^2（R^n）

The construction of frame wavelets with compact supports is a meaningful problem in wavelet analysis. In particular, it is a hard work to construct the frame wavelets with explicit analytic forms. For a given n × n real expansive matrix A, the frame-sets with respect to A are a family of sets in R^n. Based on the frame-sets, a class of high-dimensional frame wavelets with analytic forms are constructed, which can be non-bandlimited, or even compactly supported. As an application, the construction is illustrated by several examples, in which some new frame wavelets with compact supports are constructed. Moreover, since the main result of this paper is about general dilation matrices, in the examples we present a family of frame wavelets associated with some non-integer dilation matrices that is meaningful in computational geometry.     

The relative isoperimetric inequality outside convex domains in R<Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript>

We prove that the area of a hypersurface Σ which traps a given volume outside a convex domain C in Euclidean space R ⁿ is bigger than or equal to the area of a hemisphere which traps the same volume on one side of a hyperplane. Further, when C has smooth boundary ∂C, we show that equality holds if and only if Σ is a hemisphere which meets ∂C orthogonally.     

Relative mean curvature configurations for surfaces in ℝ<Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript>, <Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis> ≥ 5

We define the relative mean curvature directions on surfaces immersed in ℝⁿ, n ≥ 4, generalizing the concept of mean curvature directions for surfaces in 4-space studied by Mello. SOME NEW PROPERTIES ON L^p（Ω, H^n）

Let L^p（Ω, H^n） indicate the L^P-space of the maps for Heisenberg group target. In this paper some new properties are obtained for the space L^p（Ω, H^n）     

The quantum double of the Yangian of the Lie superalgebra <Emphasis Type="Italic">A</Emphasis>(<Emphasis Type="Italic">m,n</Emphasis>) and computation of the universal <Emphasis Type="Italic">R</Emphasis>-matrix

The Yangian double DY(A(m, n)) of the Lie superalgebra A(m, n) is described in terms of generators and defining relations. We prove the triangular decomposition for Yangian Y(A(m, n)) and its quantum double DY(A(m, n)) as a corollary of the PBW theorem. We introduce normally ordered bases in the Yangian and its dual Hopf superalgebra in the quantum double. We calculate the pairing formulas between the elements of these bases. We obtain the formula for the universal R-matrix of the Yangian double. The formula for the universal R-matrix of the Yangian, which was introduced by V. Semiclassical <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript> Estimates

The purpose of this paper is to use semiclassical analysis to unify and generalize L ^p estimates on high energy eigenfunctions and spectral clusters. In our approach these estimates do not depend on ellipticity and order, and apply to operators which are selfadjoint only at the principal level. They are estimates on weakly approximate solutions to semiclassical pseudodifferential equations. Submitted: May 11, 2006. Accepted: September 19, 2006.     

On <Emphasis Type="Italic">k</Emphasis>-Spaces and <Emphasis Type="Italic">k</Emphasis><Subscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">R</Emphasis></Subscript>-Spaces

In this note we study the relation between k _R -spaces and k-spaces and prove that a k _R -space with a σ-hereditarily closure-preserving k-network consisting of compact subsets is a k-space, and that a k _R -space with a point-countable k-network consisting of compact subsets need not be a k-space. Summation of Fourier-Laplace Series in the Space <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis>(<Emphasis Type="Italic">S</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">m</Emphasis></Superscript>)

MATRIX EQUATION AXB = E WITH PX = sXP CONSTRAINT

The matrix equation AXB = E with the constraint PX=sXP is considered,where P is a given Hermitian matrix satisfying p~2=I and s=±1.By an eigenvalue decomposition of P,the constrained problem can be equivalently transformed to a well-known unconstrained problem of matrix equation whose coefficient matrices contain the corresponding eigenvector, and hence the constrained problem can be solved in terms of the eigenvectors of P.A simple and eigenvector-free formula of the general solutions to the constrained problem by generalized inverses of the coefficient matrices A and B is presented.Moreover,a similar problem of the matrix equation with generalized constraint is discussed.     

Harnack estimate for the <Emphasis Type="Italic">H</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">k</Emphasis></Superscript>-flow

We obtain the Harnack estimate of the solution to Hk-flow in Euclidean space Rn 1,for k ＞ 0.By using this estimate,we get some corollaries about the translation soliton.     

Embedding of non-commutative <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript>-spaces: <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis> < 1

If (N,t) ({\cal N},\tau) is a finite von Neumann algebra and if (M,n) ({\cal M},\nu) is an infinite von Neumann algebra, then L_p(M,n) L_{p}({\cal M},\nu) does not Banach embed in L_p(N,t) L_{p}({\cal N},\tau) for all p ? (0,1) p\in (0,1) . We also characterize subspaces of $ L_{p}({\cal N},\tau),\ 0< p <1 $ L_{p}({\cal N},\tau),\ 0< p <1 containing a copy of l_p.     

Localization of <Emphasis Type="Italic">LM</Emphasis><Subscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Subscript>-algebras

The aim of this paper is to define the localization LM _n -algebra of an LM _n —algebra L with respect to a topology F on L; in Section 5 we prove that the maximal LM _n -algebra of fractions (defined in [3]) and the LM _n -algebra of fractions relative to an Λ—closed system (defined in Section 2) are LM _n -algebras of localization.     

Entire solutions of certain partial differential equations in<Emphasis Type="Bold">C</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript>
