INSTANTANEOUS SHRINKING AND LOCALIZATION OF FUNCTIONS IN AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

The aim of this paper is to discuss the instantaneous shrinking and localization of the support of functions in Yλ (r, p, q, N) and their applications to some nonlinear parabolic equations including the porous medium equation ut = Δum - uq, m ＞ 0, q ＞ 0 and the p-Laplace equation ut = div(|▽u|p-2▽u) - uq, p ＞ 1, q ＞ 0. In particular, as an application of the results, the necessary and sufficient condition for the solutions of the above p-Laplace equation with nonnegative finite Borel measures as initial conditions to have the instantaneous shrinking property of the support is obtained. This is an answer to an open problem posed by R. Kersner and A. Shishkov.     

ALL MEROMORPHIC SOLUTIONS OF AN AUXILIARY ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION AND ITS APPLICATIONS

In this paper, we first employ the complex method to deritive all meromorphic solutions of an auxiliary ordinary differential equation, and then find all meromorphic exact solutions of the modified ZK equation, modified Kd V equation, nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation and modified BBM equation. Our work shows that there exist some classes of rational solutionswr,2(z) and simple periodic solutionsws,1(z) which are new and are not degenerated successively to by the elliptic function solutions.     

分数阶微分方程的理论和数值方法研究

分数阶偏微分方程的研究有很长的历史,并在最近十多年得到快速发展.相比极为有限的理论成果,数值方法的研究成果已经相当丰富,几个国际研究团队对此作出了贡献.本文旨在对分数阶微分方程的理论与数值方法研究成果做个简要的评价,聚焦总结评述与高阶方法发展密切相关的研究.主要内容为讨论最基本的三类方程:时间分数阶扩散方程、空间分数阶扩散方程、以及时空分数阶扩散方程的理论进展和数值方法研究在最近十年取得的结果.我们还有针对性地选择一些算例,用以说明几个重要方法的精度和有效性.

本文研究一类不稳定型二阶中立型微分方程正解的存在性与有界振动．证明了在一定条件下不稳定型二阶中立型方程总存在无界正解，并给出了保证其方程的一切有界解都振动的充分条件，改进了文［１，２］中的有关条件．     

某类差分方程零解的全局吸引性及其应用

研究差分方程△xn=r n f(x n-k)的全局吸引性），用二次迭代法导出方程的零解全局吸引的一族新的充分条件，将结果应用于Logistic差分方程及Michelis-Menten差分模型，所得推论改进了已有结果。     

一类变系数超双曲型方程的中量定理及其应用

对超双曲型方程的正确提法还知之不多，著名的Asgeirsson中量定理使得一些定解问题得以解决，而且它可以用来证明超双曲型方程解的拓展性。因此对Asgeirsson中量定理的推广就有重要意义。目前对变数超双曲型方程解的中量性质的研究未取得明确结论。本文针对一类变系数超双曲型方程引入了一种广义中量，利用Green公式，导出了广义中量满足一种广义E-P-D方程，证明了该广义E-P-D方程解的存在性和所具有的正则性，从而对于一类变系数的超双曲型方程，得到了解的中量定理。利用该中量定理，得到了（模）超双曲型方程Cauchy问题的解和超双曲型方程解拓展性及其应用。     

CANONICAL CORRELATION EQUATIONS AND THEIR EXTREMAL PROPERTIES

The canonical variables and canonical correlation coefficients satisfy a matrix equation which is called the canonical correlation equation. There are some different forms of the canonical correlation e-quations given in the literature. In this paper, we discuss four different forms of the canonical correlation equations. The purpose of this paper is to give extremal properties of the solutions of the canonical correlation equations. The results show that canonical variables maximize the determinant of the dispersion matrix of the transformed variables.
