Zinc metal reduction of the cobalt(III) complex [Co(1,4-bcc)](+) (1,4-bcc = 1,4-bis-carboxymethylcyclam) produces the corresponding cobalt(II) complex which crystallises as the coordination polymer {[Co(1,4-bcc)]ZnCl(2)}(n). A method has been developed for removal of the cobalt(III) ion from [Co(1,4-bcc)](+) and isolation of the free ligand as its hydrochloride salt, H(2)(1,4-bcc).4HCl. This has been used for the preparation of new metal complexes, and the syntheses and characterisation of the copper(ii), nickel(ii), zinc(ii) and chromium(iii) complexes containing the 1,4-bcc ligand are described. X-Ray crystal structures of {[Co(1,4-bcc)]ZnCl(2)}(n).2.5H(2)O, {[Cu(1,4-bcc)]CuCl(2)}(n).0.25MeOH.H(2)O and [Cu(1,4-bcc)H]ClO(4) show the complexes to have the trans(O) geometry of the 1,4-bcc ligand, while the structure of [Cr(1,4-bcc)H(0.5)](ClO(4))(1.5).EtOH exhibits the cis(O) configuration.  相似文献

The new ligand 2-pyridinyl-3-pyridinylmethanone (L) proves to be an excellent building block for the construction of single-strand helical architectures. A series of helical complexes have been synthesized by the reaction of L with various metal salts, in which L exhibits three kinds of coordination modes involving two kinds of bridging conformations, resulting in four types of single-strand helical chains. The counter anions in the series of 2(1) helical silver(I) complexes {[Ag(L)]X}(infinity)(X = NO(3), 1; PF(6), 2; BF(4), 3; ClO(4), 4; CF(3)CO(2), 5; CF(3)SO(3), 6) are fully or partially embedded inside the cylindrical helix, and the pitch length corresponds not only to the size of the anion but also to its manner of docking into the groove of the helix. Formation of the helical structure in {[Cu(L)(CH(3)CN)(H(2)O)(ClO(4))]ClO(4)}(infinity)(7) is driven by Ow-H...O (perchlorate) hydrogen bonding that leads to a stable triangular motif which rigidly fixes the configuration of the helix. In {[Co(L)(H(2)O)(3)](ClO(4))(2).2H(2)O}(infinity)(8) and {[Zn(L)(H(2)O)(3)](CF(3)SO(3))(2).H(2)O}(infinity)(9), similar helical chains without anion embedment suggest that the pitch length can be tuned by the size of metal cations. Notably, complex {[Ag(L)]CF(3)SO(3)}(infinity)(10), a conformational polymorph of , has a 4(1) helix induced by argentophilic interaction.  相似文献

The imidazolate-bridged binuclear copper(II)-copper(II) complex [(dien)Cu(mu-im)Cu(dien)](ClO(4))(3) and related mononuclear complexes [Cu(dien)(H(2)O)](ClO(4))(2), [Cu(dien)(Him)](ClO(4))(2) were synthesized with diethylenetriamine (dien) as capping ligand. The crystal structure of mononuclear [Cu(dien)(Him)](ClO(4))(2) and binuclear complex [(dien)Cu(mu-im)Cu(dien)](ClO(4))(3) have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The mononuclear complex [Cu(dien)(Him)](ClO(4))(2) crystallizes in the orthorhombic, Pca2(1) with a = 9.3420(9) A, b = 12.3750(9) A, c = 14.0830(9) A, beta = 90.000(7)(o) and Z = 4 and binuclear complex [(dien)Cu(mu-im)Cu(dien)](ClO(4))(3) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/a, with a = 15.017(7) A, b = 11.938(6) A, c = 15.386(6) A, beta = 110.30(4)(o) and Z = 4. The molecular structures show that copper(II) ions in an asymmetrically elongated octahedral coordination (type 4 + 1 + 1) and in binuclear complex Cu(1) atom has a asymmetrically elongated octahedral coordination (type type 4 + 1 + 1) and Cu(2) atom exhibits a square base pyramidal coordination (type 4 + 1). The bridging ligand (imidazolate ion, im) lies nearly on a straight line between two Cu(2+), which are separated by 5.812 A, slightly shorter than the value in copper-copper superoxide dismutase (Cu(2)-Cu(2)SOD). Magnetic measurements and electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy of the binuclear complex have shown an antiferromagnetic exchange interaction. From pH-dependent cyclic voltametry (CV) and electronic spectroscopic studies the complex has been found to be stable over a wide pH range (7.75-12.50).  相似文献

Five new coordination polymers based on a new 2,2'-bipyridine derived ligand N,N'-bis(pyridin-4-yl)-2,2'-bipyridine-5,5'-dicarboxamide (=L) are reported herein. Isostructural three-dimensional coordination polymers with a rare (4,6)-connected network of {4(4).6(2)}(3){4(6).8(9)}(2) topology were synthesised from Cu(NO(3))(2), Zn(NO(3))(2) or a mixture of Cu(NO(3))(2)/Fe(BF(4))(2) with L in complexes {[Cu(5)L(6)]·(NO(3))(10)·(H(2)O)(18)}(∞) (1), {[Zn(5)L(6)]·(NO(3))(10)·(H(2)O)(18)}(∞) (2) and {[Fe(x)Cu(y)L(6)]·(NO(3))(10)·(H(2)O)(18)}(∞) (3; where x+y=5). Complexes with two-dimensional grid structures resulted from treatment with CoCl(2) or Cd(NO(3))(2) with L in complexes {[CoLCl(2)]·DMF}(∞) (4) and {CdL(NO(3))(2)}(∞) (5).  相似文献

A series of ternary copper(II) complexes containing same coordination sphere but difference in the counter ions, viz., [Cu(PMDT)(OAc)]PF(6)(1); [Cu(PMDT)(OAc)]ClO(4)(2); [Cu(PMDT)(OAc)]BF(4)(3) and [Cu(PMDT)(OAc)]BPh(4)(4) where PMDT=N,N,N',N',N'-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine, OAc=Acetate ion were synthesized and characterized by means of spectroscopic, magnetic and cyclic voltammetric measurements. In frozen solution e.p.r. spectra, an interesting relation g|| >g(perpendicular) has been observed which is atypical of the axially symmetric d(9) Cu(II) (S(Cu)=1/2) having an unpaired electron in a d (x2-y2) orbital. Single crystal X-ray analysis of (1) has revealed the presence of distorted square planar geometry. The influence of the counter ion on the complexes has been examined by performing some biological experiments like superoxide dismutase and anti-microbial activity.  相似文献

Reactions of CdX2(X=NO3-, ClO4-) with Hatza (atza=5-aminotetrazole-1-acetato anion) and 2,2′-bipyridine (2,2′-bipy) or 1,10-phenanthroline (1,10-phen) in a methanol/aqueous solution produced a set of new Cd(Ⅱ) coordination polymers, {[Cd(atza)(H2O)(2,2′-bipy)]ClO4}n (1), {[Cd(atza)(H2O)(1,10-phen)]ClO4 }n (2), {[Cd(atza)(H2O)(2,2′-bipy)]NO3}n (3) and {[Cd(atza)2 (1,10-phen)]·0.5H2O}n (4). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that each Cd(Ⅱ) ion has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry in 1-4, and the Cd(Ⅱ) ion centers are connected through the tridentate atza bridging ligands to form a 2D layer (1-3) or ID chain (4) structure. The fluorescent properties of 2 and 4 are also discussed.  相似文献

New homo- and heterometallic, hexa- and pentanuclear complexes of formula {[Cu2(mpba)2(H2O)F][Cu(Me5dien)]4}(PF6)(3).5H2O (1), {[Cu2(Me3mpba)2(H2O)2][Cu(Me5dien)]4}(ClO4)(4).12H2O (2), {[Cu2(ppba)2][Cu(Me5dien)]4}(ClO4)4 (3), and [Ni(cyclam)]{[Cu2(mpba)2][Ni(cyclam)]3}(ClO4)(4).6H2O (4) [mpba=1,3-phenylenebis(oxamate), Me3mpba=2,4,6-trimethyl-1,3-phenylenebis(oxamate), ppba=1,4-phenylenebis(oxamate), Me5dien=N,N,N'N' ',N' '-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine, and cyclam=1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane] have been synthesized through the use of the "complex-as-ligand/complex-as-metal" strategy. The structures of 1-3 consist of cationic CuII6 entities with an overall [2x2] ladder-type architecture which is made up of two oxamato-bridged CuII3 linear units connected through two m- or p-phenylenediamidate bridges between the two central copper atoms to give a binuclear metallacyclic core of the cyclophane-type. Complex 4 consists of cationic CuII2NiII3 entities with an incomplete [2x2] ladder-type architecture which is made up of oxamato-bridged CuIINiII and CuIINiII2 linear units connected through two m-phenylenediamidate bridges between the two copper atoms to give a binuclear metallacyclophane core. The magnetic properties of 1-3 and 4 have been interpreted according to their distinct "dimer-of-trimers" and "dimer-plus-trimer" structures, respectively, (H=-J(S1A.S3A+S1A.S4A+S2B.S5B+S2B.S6B)-J'S1A.S2B). Complexes 1-4 exhibit moderate to strong antiferromagnetic coupling through the oxamate bridges (-JCu-Cu=81.3-105.9 cm-1; -JCu-Ni=111.6 cm-1) in the trinuclear and/or binuclear units. Within the binuclear metallacyclophane core, a weak to moderate ferromagnetic coupling (J'Cu-Cu=1.7-9.0 cm-1) operates through the double m-phenylenediamidate bridge, while a strong antiferromagnetic coupling (J'Cu-Cu=-120.6 cm-1) is mediated by the double p-phenylenediamidate bridge.  相似文献

Ferrocene-based ligands 1,1'-di(pyrazinyl)ferrocene (L1) and 1,1'-di(2-pyrimidinyl)ferrocene (L2) were synthesized and copper and silver complexes were obtained from L1. Coordination polymers [{Cu(2)(PhCOO)(4)}(L1)](n) (1), [{Cu(2)(C(5)H(11)COO)(4)}(L1)](n) (2), and [{Cu(2)(OAc)(4)}(L1)](n).0.5n[Cu(2)(OAc)(4)(H(2)O)(2)].1.5nCH(3)CN (3) resulted from the reaction with the corresponding copper carboxylates. In all three complexes, L1 links the dinuclear copper carboxylate units to form one-dimensional step-like chains. In 2, these chains are further linked by [Cu(2)(OAc)(4)(H(2)O)(2)] dinuclear units via hydrogen bonding to form sheet structures. The reaction of L1 with copper(I) iodide resulted in a multinuclear complex [(CuI)(4)(L1)(2)].(L1) (4), which contains a [(CuI)(4)(L1)(2)] diferrocene unit with a step-like (CuI)(4) core. Reactions of L1 with silver(I) salts resulted in silver-bridged diferrocenes [Ag(2)(L1)(2)]X(2) (X = ClO(4) (5a, b), NO(3) (6a-c) and PF(6) (7)), some of which incorporate aromatic solvents into their crystal lattices. The intramolecular Ag...Ag separations in these metallamacrocycles (3.211-3.430 A) depended upon the counter-anions and on the coordination mode of the silver ions. In all of these coordination complexes, L1adopts a synperiplanar eclipsed conformation and acts as a bidentate ligand, with only the 5-nitrogen of each pyrazine ring involved in coordination.  相似文献

Two new 1D coordination polymers, [Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH)(ppk)(3)(μ-N(CN)(2))(OAc)](n) (1) and {[Cu(4)(pdmH)(2)(pdm)(2)(μ(2)-OH)(H(2)O)]·ClO(4)}(n) (2) based on two different blocking ligands phenyl-2-pyridylketoxime (ppk) and pyridine-2,6-dimethanol (pdmH(2)) have been synthesized and were characterized by X-ray single crystal structural analysis. In compound 1, the hydroxido-bridged trinuclear core, {Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH)(ppk)(3)(OAc)}, acts as secondary building units and are connected by the N(CN)(2)(-) anions resulting in a one dimensional (1D) coordination polymer. The 1D coordination chains undergo π-π interactions giving rise to a 3D supramolecular framework. In compound 2, tetrameric [Cu(4)(pdmH)(2)(pdm)(2)(H(2)O)](2+) cores are linked via hydroxido groups forming a zigzag 1D coordination chain where non-coordinated ClO(4)(-) ions are intercalated between the chains. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility study of suggests that Cu(II) ions in the trinuclear Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH) cores are antiferromagnetically coupled with J = -459.7 cm(-1) and g = 2.11 and the trinuclear cores are further weakly coupled antiferromagnetically (zj' = -5.25 cm(-1)) through the N(CN)(2)(-) bridging ligand. Investigation of the magnetic properties of reveals that Cu(II) ions are coupled antiferromagnetically in the tetranuclear core with J = -27.1 cm(-1) and g = 2.17; the Cu(II)(4) building units are further coupled antiferromagnetically with zj' = -9.65 cm(-1). The experimental magnetic behaviours of 1 and 2 are correlated by first principle DFT calculations which provide a qualitative understanding of the origin of antiferromagnetic interactions in both cases.  相似文献

The reactions of racemic and enantiopure macrocyclic compounds [Ni(alpha-rac-L)](ClO(4))(2) (containing equal amounts of SS and RR enantiomers), [Ni(alpha-SS-L)](ClO(4))(2), and [Ni(alpha-RR-L)](ClO(4))(2) with K[Ag(CN)(2)] in acetonitrile/water afford three 1D helical chains of {[Ni(f-rac-L)][Ag(CN)(2)](2)}(n) (1), {[Ni(f-SS-L)](2)[Ag(CN)(2)](4)}(n) (Delta-2), and {[Ni(f-RR-L)](2)[Ag(CN)(2)](4)}(n) (Lambda-2); one dimer of [Ni(f-rac-L)][Ag(CN)(2)](2) (3); and one trimer of [Ni(f-rac-L)Ag(CN)(2)](3).(ClO(4))(3) (4) (L = 5,5,7,12,12,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane). Compounds 1, Delta-2, Lambda-2, and 3, which are supramolecular isomers, are constructed via argentophilic interactions. In 1, [Ni(f-RR-L)][Ag(CN)(2)](2) enantiomers alternately connect with [Ni(f-SS-L)][Ag(CN)(2)](2) enantiomers through intermolecular argentophilic interactions to form a 1D meso-helical chain, and the 1D chains are further connected through the interchain hydrogen bonds to generate a 2D network. When chiral [Ni(alpha-SS-L)](ClO(4))(2) and [Ni(alpha-RR-L)](ClO(4))(2) were used as building blocks, two supramolecular stereoisomers of Delta-2 and Lambda-2 were obtained, which show the motif of homochiral right-handed and left-handed helical chains, respectively, and the 1D homochiral helical chains are linked by the interchain hydrogen bonds to form a 3D structure. In 3, a pair of enantiomers of [Ni(f-RR-L)][Ag(CN)(2)](2) and [Ni(f-SS-L)][Ag(CN)(2)](2) connect with each other through intermolecular argentophilic interactions to form a dimer. The reaction of [Ni(alpha-rac-L)](ClO(4))(2) with K[Ag(CN)(2)] in acetonitrile gives a trimer of 4; each trimer is chiral with unsymmetrical RR, RR, and SS, or RR, SS, and SS configurations. The homochiral nature of Delta-2 and Lambda-2 was confirmed by the results of solid circular dichroism spectra measurements. The solid samples of 1-4 show strong fluorescent emissions at room temperature.  相似文献

Three new compounds of formula {[Cu(gua)(H(2)O)(3)](BF(4))(SiF(6))(1/2)}(n) (1), {[Cu(gua)(H(2)O)(3)](CF(3)SO(3))(2).H(2)O}(n) (2) and [Cu(gua)(2)(H(2)O)(HCOO)]ClO(4).H(2)O.1/2HCOOH] (3) [gua = 2-amino-1H-purin-6(9H)-one] showing the unprecedented coordination of neutral guanine, have been synthesised and structurally characterized. The structures of the compounds 1 and 2 contain uniform copper(II) chains of formula [Cu(gua)(H(2)O)(3)](n)(2n+), where the copper atoms are bridged by guanine ligands coordinated via N(3) and N(7). The electroneutrality is achieved by uncoordinated tetrafluoroborate and hexafluorosilicate (1) and triflate (2). Each copper atom in 1 and 2 is five-coordinated in a distorted square pyramidal environment: two water molecules in trans positions and the N(3) and N(7a) nitrogen atoms of two guanine ligands build the basal plane whereas a water molecule fills the axial position. The values of the copper-copper separation across the bridging guanine ligand are 7.183(1) (1) and 7.123(1) A (2). is an ionic salt whose structure is made up of mononuclear [Cu(gua)(2)(H(2)O)(HCOO)](+) cations and perchlorate anions plus water and formic acid as crystallization molecules. The two guanine ligands in the cation are coordinated to the copper centre through the N(9) atom. The copper atom in 3 is four-coordinated with two monodentate guanine molecules in the trans position, a water molecule and a monodenate formate ligand building a quasi square planar surrounding. Magnetic susceptibility measurements for 1 and 2 in the temperature range 1.9-300 K show the occurrence of significant intrachain antiferromagnetic interactions between the copper(ii) ions across the guanine bridge [J = -9.6(1) (1) and -10.3(1) cm(-1) (2) with H = -J summation operator(i)S(i).S(i+1)].  相似文献

A 1D double-zigzag framework, {[Zn(paps)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2)}(n) (1; paps = N,N'-bis(pyridylcarbonyl)-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl thioether), was synthesized by the reaction of Zn(ClO(4))(2) with paps. However, a similar reaction, except that dry solvents were used, led to the formation of a novel 2D polyrotaxane framework, [Zn(paps)(2)(ClO(4))(2)](n) (2). This difference relies on the fact that water coordinates to the Zn(II) ion in 1, but ClO(4)(-) ion coordination is found in 2. Notably, the structures can be interconverted by heating and grinding in the presence of moisture, and such a structural transformation can also be proven experimentally by powder and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The related N,N'-bis- (pyridylcarbonyl)-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl ether (papo) and N,N'-(methylenedi-para-phenylene)bispyridine-4-carboxamide (papc) ligands were reacted with Zn(II) ions as well. When a similar reaction was performed with dry solvents, except that papo was used instead of paps, the product mixture contained mononuclear [Zn(papo)(CH(3)OH)(4)](ClO(4))(2) (5) and the polyrotaxane [Zn(papo)(2)(ClO(4))(2)](n) (4). From the powder XRD data, grinding this mixture in the presence of moisture resulted in total conversion to the pure double-zigzag {[Zn(papo)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2)}(n) (3) immediately. Upon heating 3, the polyrotaxane framework of 4 was recovered. The double-zigzag {[Zn(papc)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2)}(n) (6) and polyrotaxane [Zn(papc)(2)(ClO(4))(2)](n) (7) were synthesized in a similar reaction. Although upon heating the double-zigzag 6 undergoes structural transformation to give the polyrotaxane 7, grinding solid 7 in the presence of moisture does not lead to the formation of 6. Significantly, the bright emissions for double-zigzag frameworks of 1 and 3 and weak ones for polyrotaxane frameworks of 2 and 4 also show interesting mechanochromic luminescence.  相似文献

Homo- and heterobimetallic complexes of the form [(PPh(3))(2)(mu(2)-1,8-S(2)-nap){ML(n)}] (in which (1,8-S(2)-nap)=naphtho-1,8-dithiolate and {ML(n)}={PtCl(2)} (1), {PtClMe} (2), {PtClPh} (3), {PtMe(2)} (4), {PtIMe(3)} (5) and {Mo(CO)(4)} (6)) were obtained by the addition of [PtCl(2)(NCPh)(2)], [PtClMe(cod)] (cod=1,5-cyclooctadiene), [PtClPh(cod)], [PtMe(2)(cod)], [{PtIMe(3)}(4)] and [Mo(CO)(4)(nbd)] (nbd=norbornadiene), respectively, to [Pt(PPh(3))(2)(1,8-S(2)-nap)]. Synthesis of cationic complexes was achieved by the addition of one or two equivalents of a halide abstractor, Ag[BF(4)] or Ag[ClO(4)], to [{Pt(mu-Cl)(mu-eta(2):eta(1)-C(3)H(5))}(4)], [{Pd(mu-Cl)(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))}(2)], [{IrCl(mu-Cl)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))}(2)] (in which C(5)Me(5)=Cp*=1,2,3,4,5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl), [{RhCl(mu-Cl)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))}(2)], [PtCl(2)(PMe(2)Ph)(2)] and [{Rh(mu-Cl)(cod)}(2)] to give the appropriate coordinatively unsaturated species that, upon treatment with [(PPh(3))(2)Pt(1,8-S(2)-nap)], gave complexes of the form [(PPh(3))(2)(mu(2)-1,8-S(2)-nap){ML(n)}][X] (in which {ML(n)}[X]={Pt(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))}[ClO(4)] (7), {Pd(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))}[ClO(4)] (8), {IrCl(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))}[ClO(4)] (9), {RhCl(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))}[BF(4)] (10), {Pt(PMe(2)Ph)(2)}[ClO(4)](2) (11), {Rh(cod)}[ClO(4)] (12); the carbonyl complex {Rh(CO)(2)}[ClO(4)] (13) was formed by bubbling gaseous CO through a solution of 12. In all cases the naphtho-1,8-dithiolate ligand acts as a bridge between two metal centres to give a four-membered PtMS(2) ring (M=transition metal). All compounds were characterised spectroscopically. The X-ray structures of 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 reveal a binuclear PtMS(2) core with PtM distances ranging from 2.9630(8)-3.438(1) A for 8 and 5, respectively. The napS(2) mean plane is tilted with respect to the PtP(2)S(2) coordination plane, with dihedral angles in the range 49.7-76.1 degrees and the degree of tilting being related to the PtM distance and the coordination number of M. The sum of the Pt(1)coordination plane/napS(2) angle, a, and the Pt(1)coordination plane/M(2)coordination plane angle, b, a+b, is close to 120 degrees in nearly all cases. This suggests that electronic effects play a significant role in these binuclear systems.  相似文献

The properties of Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes with oxygen- or nitrogen-containing macrocycles have been extensively studied; however, less attention has been paid to the study of complexes containing sulfur atoms in the first coordination sphere. Herein we present the interaction between these two metal ions and two macrocyclic ligands with N2S2 donor sets. Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes with the pyridine-containing 14-membered macrocycles 3,11-dithia-7,17-diazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene (L) and 7-(9-anthracenylmethyl)-3,11-dithia-7,17-diazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene (L1) have been synthesized. The X-ray structural analysis of {[Co(ClO4)(H2O)(L)][Co(H2O)2(L)]}(ClO4)3 shows two different metal sites in octahedral coordination. The EPR spectra of powdered samples of this compound are typical of distorted six-coordinated Co(II) ions in a high-spin (S=3/2) configuration, with the ground state being S=1/2 (g1=5.20, g2=3.20, g3=1.95). The EPR spectrum of [Cu(ClO4)(L)](ClO4) was simulated assuming an axial g tensor (g1=g2=2.043, g3=2.145), while that of [Cu(ClO4)(L1)](ClO4) slightly differs from an axial symmetry (g1=2.025, g2=2.060, g3=2.155). These results are compatible with a Cu(II) ion in square-pyramidal coordination with N2S2 as basal ligands. Single-crystal EPR experiment performed on [Cu(ClO4)(L1)](ClO4) allowed determining the eigenvalues of the molecular g tensor associated with the copper site, as well as the two possible orientations for the tensor. On the basis of symmetry arguments, an assignment in which the eigenvectors are nearly along the Cu(II)-ligand bonds is chosen.  相似文献

Three novel tetranuclear vanadium(III) or (IV) complexes bridged by diphenyl phosphate or phosphate were prepared and their structures characterized by X-ray crystallography. The novel complexes are [{V(III)(2)(μ-hpnbpda)}(2){μ-(C(6)H(5)O)(2)PO(2)}(2)(μ-O)(2)]·6CH(3)OH (1), [{V(III)(2)(μ-tphpn)(μ-η(3)-HPO(4))}(2)(μ-η(4)-PO(4))](ClO(4))(3)·4.5H(2)O (2), and [{(V(IV)O)(2)(μ-tphpn)}(2)(μ-η(4)-PO(4))](ClO(4))(3)·H(2)O (3), where hpnbpda and tphpn are alkoxo-bridging dinucleating ligands. H(3)hpnbpda represents 2-hydroxypropane-1,3-diamino-N,N'-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-N,N'-diacetic acid, and Htphpn represents N,N,N',N'-tetrakis(2-pyridylmethyl)-2-hydroxy-1,3-propanediamine. A dinuclear vanadium(IV) complex without a phosphate bridge, [(VO)(2)(μ-tphpn)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(3)·2H(2)O (4), was also prepared and structurally characterized for comparison. The vanadium(III) center in 1 adopts a hexacoordinate structure while that in 2 adopts a heptacoordinate structure. In 1, the two dinuclear vanadium(III) units bridged by the alkoxo group of hpnbpda are further linked by two diphenylphosphato and two oxo groups, resulting in a dimer-of-dimers. In 2, the two vanadium(III) units bridged by tphpn are further bridged by three phosphate ions with two different coordination modes. The reactions of 1,2,3,4-benzenetetracarboxylic acid (H(4)mpda) and different silver(I) salts under hydrothermal or solvent evaporation conditions yielded four unusual coordination complexes with interesting frameworks: [Ag(4)(mpda)](n) (1), {[Ag(2.5)(mpda)(bpy)(2)]·[Ag(bpy)]·[Ag(bpy)(H(2)O)]·(NO(3))(0.5)·(H(2)O)(9)}(n) (2), {[Ag(5)(mpda)(2)(bpy)(4)]·[Ag(bpy)]·[Ag(bpy)(H(2)O)]·[Ag(bpy)(H(2)O)]·(H(2)O)(16)}(n) (3), {[Ag(2)(mpda)(H(2)O)]·[Ag(bpy)]·[Ag(bpy)]}(n) (4) (bpy = 4,4'-bipyridine). Complex 1 displays a novel (3,4,7)-connected {4.6(2)}{4.6(5)}{4(2).6(13).8(5).10} topology, in which the carboxylic groups of the mpda(4-) ligand adopt variable coordination modes. In 1, besides Ag-O coordination bonding, AgAg and Agaromatic intermolecular interactions also make their appearance. In complexes 2-4, rare architectures comprising three or four isolated coordination polymers within the same crystalline structure have been obtained, respectively. In 2 and 3, neighboring layers are linked together through water tapes into a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture, which is also consolidated by π···π stacking, while independent infinite rod-like polymer chains fill the void space between layers. Interestingly, an anionic (H(2)O-NO(3)(-))(n) layer, built from water tapes and nitrate anions as well as consolidated by the mpda(4-) ligands, has been structurally identified in compound 2. A new water tape constructed from alternating tetramers and decamers has been obtained in compound 3. In compound 4, a right-handed helical chain and two rod-like polymeric chains are interconnected through host-guest molecular recognition to generate a three-dimensional chiral supramolecular architecture. Bulk materials for 1 and 4 have second-harmonic generation activity, being approximately 0.6 and 0.4 times that of urea. The IR spectra, thermogravimetric analysis and luminescent properties of all compounds were also investigated.  相似文献

Conventional reactions of the new multidentate ligand 7-amine-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (7atp, 1) with copper(II) salts lead to four novel multidimensional coordination complexes [Cu(7atp)(mal)(H(2)O)(2)]·H(2)O (2), [Cu(2)(μ-7atp)(4)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(4)·3H(2)O (3), {[Cu(7atp)(2)(μ-ox)]·3H(2)O}(n) (4) and {[Cu(7atp)(2)(μ-suc)]·2H(2)O}(n) (5), where ox(2-), mal(2-) and suc(2-) mean oxalate, malonate and succinate, respectively. In these compounds, the 7atp ligand coordinates monodentately through its atom N3, except for compound 3, which displays N3-N4 coordination mode, giving rise to all to structures with diverse topologies and dimensionality. Compound 2 is a mononuclear entity, 3 consists of dinuclear species, 4 is a zig-zag chain with oxalate as a bridging ligand and 5 is a succinate-bridged mono-dimensional system. All polynuclear metal complexes show antiferromagnetic interactions of with J values ranging from -0.12 to -49.5 cm(-1). The ligand donor capabilities have been estimated by topological analyses of the electron density (QTAIM) and electron localization function (ELF), obtained by DFT calculations. The compounds are the first structurally characterized copper(II) complexes containing the 7atp ligand.  相似文献

Two supramolecular complexes, [Cu(L)(H2O)2(beta-CD)](ClO4)2.10.5H2O.CH3OH (1) and [Cu(L)(H2O)2(beta-GCD)](HClO4)(ClO4)2.10H2O (2) (L = 4-(4'-tert-butyl-benzyl)diethylenetriamine, beta-CD = beta-cyclodextrin, and beta-GCD = mono-6-deoxy-6-guanidinocycloheptaamylose cation), have been synthesized. The structure of 1 has been characterized by X-ray crystallography. The 4-tert-butyl-benzyl of [Cu(L)(H2O)2]2+ moiety in 1 as a guest inserts into the hydrophobic cavity of the beta-CD as a host along the primary hydroxyl side. On the basis of the structure data of 1, complex 2 was modeled, which showed that the distance between the Cu and C atom of the guanidinium is 5.2 A, comparable to the corresponding distance in bovine erythrocyte Cu, Zn-SOD (5.9 A) (SOD = superoxide dismutase). Apparent inclusion stability constants of the host and the guest were measured to be 0.66 (+/-0.01) x 104 and 1.15 (+/-0.03) x 104 M-1 for 1 and 2 respectively. The electronic absorption bands and electronic reflection bands of each complex are almost the same, indicating an identical structure of the complex in aqueous solution and in solid state. The two complexes showed quasi-reversible one-electron Cu(II)/Cu(I) redox waves with redox potentials of -0.345 and -0.338 V for 1 and 2, respectively. Their SOD-like activities (IC50) were measured to be 0.30 +/- 0.01 and 0.17 +/- 0.01 microM by xanthine/xanthine oxidase-NBT assay. The enhanced SOD activity of 2 by approximately 40% compared with 1 suggests that the guanidyl cation in the host of the supramolecular system of 2 can effectively mimic the side chain of Arg141 in the enzyme, which is known to be essential for high SOD activity possibly through steering of the superoxide substrate to and from the active copper ion.  相似文献

The reactions of a pair of enantiomers of macrocyclic nickel(II) complexes with racemic penicillamine generated two 3D hydrogen-bonded homochiral frameworks of {[Ni(f-(SS)-L)](2)(l-pends)(ClO(4))(2)}(n) (Λ-1) and {[Ni(f-(RR)-L)](2)(d-pends) (ClO(4))(2)}(n) (Δ-1). The frameworks possess 1D tubular pores and opposite right/left-handed helical porous surfaces (L = 5,5,7,12,12,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane; pends(2-) = penicillaminedisulfide anion).  相似文献
