Chiroptical response, demonstrating chiral interaction between optical vortex and chiral structure, plays an important role in variety of fields like optics and material science. However, the flexibility and efficiency of chiral structure fabrication are limited due to mask requirement and a point-by-point constructing strategy. In this paper, a novel chiral lithography method is proposed that utilizes optical vortex phase beam shaping to achieve chiral structure processing with high efficiency and flexibility. By programming topological charges of the vortex phase, chiral structures with adjustable appearance, rotation, and chirality can be produced using femtosecond laser single pulse exposure. Transmittance measurements of fabricated chiral structures array confirm a 66% helical dichroism that is predicted by simulation. Moreover, with the aid of convolutional neural networks (CNN), an accuracy of 98% in Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) recognition can be achieved. This chiral lithography method provides an alternative for chiral structure fabrication and holds promise in the development of chiral optics, optical communications, and next-generation optical devices.  相似文献

部分相干物质波是处于临界温度以上的玻色冷原子气体。密度和一阶关联都满足高斯分布的部分相干物质波是高斯谢尔模(Gauss-Schell model)物质波。本文通过研究高斯谢尔模物质波一阶关联函数的相位结构,揭示出物质波在部分相干情况下的轨道角动量特点。证明扭曲相位是部分相干物质波具有的独特性质,完全相干物质波(如,玻色爱因斯坦凝聚体)不具有此相位。此外,本文举例分析了高斯谢尔模物质波在一个"柱透镜"光脉冲作用下,其轨道角动量的变化情况。  相似文献

A new implementation of high-dimensional quantum key distribution (QKD) protocol is discussed. Using three mutual unbiased bases, we present a d?level six-state QKD protocol that exploits the orbital angular momentum with the spatial mode of the light beam. The protocol shows that the feature of a high capacity since keys are encoded using photon modes in d-level Hilbert space. The devices for state preparation and measurement are also discussed. This protocol has high security and the alignment of shared reference frames is not needed between sender and receiver.  相似文献

Spiral spectra of vortex beams with coma aberration are studied. It is shown that the orbital angular momentum (OAM) states of vortex beams with coma aberration are different from those aberration-free vortex beams. Spiral spectra of beams with coma aberration are spreading. It is found that in the presence of coma aberration, the vortex beams contain not only the original OAM component but also other components. A larger coma aberration coefficient and/or a larger beam waist will lead to a wider spreading of the spiral spectrum. The results may have potential applications in information encoding and transmittance.  相似文献

Quantum secret sharing is to distribute secret message securely between multi-parties. Here exploiting orbital angular momentum (OAM) state of single photons as the information carrier, we propose a high-dimensional circular quantum secret sharing protocol which increases the channel capacity largely. In the proposed protocol, the secret message is split into two parts, and each encoded on the OAM state of single photons. The security of the protocol is guaranteed by the laws of non-cloning theorem. And the secret messages could not be recovered except that the two receivers collaborated with each other. Moreover, the proposed protocol could be extended into high-level quantum systems, and the enhanced security could be achieved.  相似文献

Methods for beam shaping with nonzero orbital angular momentum are studied using diffraction optical elements with the purpose of developing a source of single-photon states based on spontaneous parametric down-conversion of light in the LiNbO3 crystal in the cavity resonator. The probability of the coincidence of the number of photocounts in detecting signal and idle fields under pumping by a beam with the orbital angular momentum is simulated.  相似文献

Electromagnetic field generators based on circular ring resonators,whose perimeters are integer times of equivalent wavelength,are well known to have attractive potential for producing radio vortexes carrying orbital angular momentum(OAM).We study the radiation characteristics of the generators based on radiation vector and antenna array theory.The behaviors of radiation patterns,field intensity and phase distribution are investigated in detail,and show classical features of OAM beams.The evolution of the generators performance versus the OAM state is also analyzed.The proposed generators can be realized by all kinds of microwave transmission lines,verified by two different prototypes.The discussions and conclusions drawn in this study are useful and meaningful for the radio OAM generator design.  相似文献

Thanks to progress in optics in the past two decades, it is possible to create photons carrying well-defined non-zero orbital angular momentum (OAM). Boosting these photons into high-energy range preserving their OAM seems feasible. Intermediate energy electrons with OAM have also been produced recently. One can, therefore, view OAM as a new degree of freedom in high-energy collisions and ask what novel insights it can bring. Here we discuss generic features of scattering processes involving twisted particles in the initial state. We show that they make it possible to perform a Fourier analysis of a plane wave cross section with respect to the azimuthal angles of the initial particles, and to probe the autocorrelation function of the amplitude, a quantity inaccessible in plane wave collisions.  相似文献

从傍轴条件下光束轨道角动量的基本理论出发,根据高阶椭圆厄密–高斯光束的光场分布,运用张量方法,对高阶椭圆厄密-高斯光束轨道角动量的密度分布进行了理论分析,得到了求解该密度分布的计算公式,并在给定参量条件下作了数值模拟.进一步对光束中每个光子携带的平均轨道角动量进行了计算,发现其值随着椭圆厄密-高斯光束阶次的增大而增大,表明高阶椭圆厄密-高斯光束能够比椭圆高斯光束或拉盖尔-高斯光束提供高得多的轨道角动量.  相似文献

Employing orbital angular momentum (OAM) of single photon, we demonstrate a high dimensional quantum secret sharing protocol. The protocol shows a high capacity of communication as the keys are encoded on the OAM of photons in d-level Hilbert space. In the proposed protocol, the remote users could share secret keys securely. The implementation for the OAM state preparation and measurement is also discussed. We show that the protocol exhibits a high security and the alignment of shared reference frames is not required.  相似文献

Quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) is to transmit information directly through quantum channels without generating secret keys. The efficiencies of QSDC rely on the capacity of qubits. Exploiting orbital angular momentum of single photons, we proposed a high-capacity one-time pad QSDC protocol. The information is encoded on the Hermite-Gauss mode and transmitted directly on the Laguerre-Gauss mode of the photon pluses. The proposed system provides a high coding space, and the proposed protocol is robust against collective-dephasing channel noise.  相似文献

The secret key rate is one of the main obstacles to the practical application of continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CVQKD). In this paper, we propose a multiplexing scheme to increase the secret key rate of the CVQKD system with orbital angular momentum (OAM). The propagation characteristics of a typical vortex beam, involving the Laguerre–Gaussian (LG) beam, are analyzed in an atmospheric channel for the Kolmogorov turbulence model. Discrete modulation is utilized to extend the maximal transmission distance. We show the effect of the transmittance of the beam over the turbulent channel on the secret key rate and the transmission distance. Numerical simulations indicate that the OAM multiplexing scheme can improve the performance of the CVQKD system and hence has potential use for practical high-rate quantum communications.  相似文献

We adopt a gauge-invariant definition to calculate the spin and orbital angular momenta of a so-called Ith order Laguerre-Gaussian laser. The results reveal that photons on the axis of the beam may carry an orbital angular momentum of (l - 1)h besides lh per photon. For the spin, we obtain a more reasonable expression proportional to the beam intensity instead of the gradient of the intensity as previously derived. We also discuss how to experimentally discriminate the angular momentum expressions given here and those commonly accepted in the literature.  相似文献

作为光子重要自由度之一,轨道角动量(OAM)在光量子信息研究中占据着重要地位。将其与偏振等光子的其他自由度相结合,可实现多自由度光量子信息处理。此外,由于其具有天然的离散高维属性,故其是开展高维量子信息处理研究的最佳自由度之一。基于自发参量下转换非线性光学过程能够便捷地获得OAM纠缠源。近年来,光子OAM量子纠缠的研究受到了广泛关注,在多自由度、高维和多光子等多个方向都取得了重要进展。然而,该领域尚有诸多悬而未决的关键科学问题亟须深入研究,包括如何实现高效高质的OAM分离,如何实现更高维度的频率转换,如何提升多自由度纠缠源的品质,如何获得更多维度、更多光子的高维纠缠态以及如何构建可行的高维量子门等。从光子OAM最基本的二维操纵着手,综述了单光子OAM量子态调控、双光子及多光子OAM纠缠操纵。围绕多自由度、大角动量和高维等特性,从生成、调控、测量及应用等角度系统讨论了光子OAM量子纠缠。同时,探索了解决本方向关键科学问题的一些可能解决途径。  相似文献

研究原子核较高自旋态的特征,不仅需要考虑K混合,而且应该引入Coriolis相互作用项,亦即使用推转Hamilton量.推转项的引入破坏了时间反演对称性,单粒子角动量在内禀对称轴上的投影量子数已不再是好量子数.从表面上看,这会使得理论计算变得非常复杂,但考虑到原子核的某些固有对称性,将角动量投影技术应用于含推转成份的粒子数守恒波函数(推转PNC波函数)并不十分困难.在这一理论框架下详细推导计算原子核能谱及电磁性质的基本表达式,从而表明实施该方案的可行性.  相似文献
