This paper presents a feasibility study to assess whether digital speckle pattern interferometry could be used as a possible technique to investigate the adhesive performance of coatings. The approach is based on the measurement of the deflections produced by a pre-notched coated specimen subjected to a four-point bending test. When the bending load is increased, a delamination between the coating and the substrate is propagated with its length depending on the adhesion strength. Experiments carried out with specimens having simulated delaminations confirm that digital speckle pattern interferometry can be used to estimate the delamination length.  相似文献

A variation of electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) is presented whereby phase fringes are produced in contrast to speckle correlation fringes. Digital phase stepping speckle interferometry uses a phase measurement technique developed for holographic interferometry, which involves phase shifting of the reference beam in a conventional speckle interferometer. Saw-tooth phase fringes are produced by subtracting the phases of the speckle fields before and after object deformation in a digital frame store. This enables the sign of the deformation to be distinguished. After application of a special low-pass digital filter, the phase fringes are of adequate quality to be counted automatically.  相似文献

A new digital speckle pattern interferometry, called volume-grating phase-shifting digital speckle pattern interferometry, is discussed in this paper. The out-of-plane displacement field of a bent plate can be quantitatively measured using volume-grating phase-shifting digital speckle pattern interferometry proposed in this paper. 为了获得准确的面形测量,提出了一种相移电子散斑干涉技术测量物体面形的测量方法.利用电子散斑干涉产生载波条纹,该载波条纹受到物体表面高度的调制变得弯曲,引起载波条纹相位的变化,可运用相移技术提取物体的相位信息,最后根据高度和相位之间的关系得到物体的面形.介绍了该方法的原理,利用该方法对球冠物体进行了面形测量,证明该方法测量物体面形是可行性的.由于是采用散斑干涉的方法产生干涉条纹,因此该方法测量物体面形具有灵敏度高的优点.  相似文献

Velocity and density field measurements based on image processing of laser speckle or pseudo-speckle pattern have been developed. Laser speckle velocimetry (LSV) or white-light speckle velocimetry (WSV), which corresponds to a high-image-density PIV, gives a local velocity vector map or whole field velocity contour map of a two-dimensional flow field seeded densely with fine particles. This technique has an advantage in high-speed flow measurement without limit of frame rate except for directional ambiguity. New techniques of laser speckle photography and laser speckle interferometry by means of digital image processing have been developed recently for density field measurements. In laser speckle photography, a local density gradient vector map is reconstructed by cross-correlation evaluation between the reference and the object speckle patterns. In laser speckle interferometry, an equi-density contour map is reconstructed by image subtraction between the reference and the object interferometric speckle patterns.  相似文献

We describe and analyze the experimental realization of a speckle interferometry scheme designed for measurement of the value of the shift of the object surface along the surface itself. In contrast to classical speckle interferometric schemes, we use a specially formed two-dimensional pattern of the random binary structure as a speckle structure. The pattern being illuminated by the white light is photographed with the use of a digital camera. Further processing of the information related to the Fourier transformation of the pictures registered and determination of the obtained fringe structure period is carried out in a PC.  相似文献

The rapid progress of modern manufacturing technology has posed stringent requirements for inspecting techniques for vibration characterization and dynamic testing. Because of its simplicity, accuracy, and whole-field character, speckle interferometry has served as one of the major techniques for dynamic measurement, where normally a dense-sampled temporal speckle sequence is captured for phase retrieval using Fourier or wavelet transforms. In this Letter, a method is proposed for phase evaluation of sparse-sampled speckle patterns when the sampling rate is lower than two points per temporal cycle. Dynamic experiments using a high-speed camera demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method for complicated wrapped phase retrieval in electronic/digital speckle pattern interferometry.  相似文献

In this paper, vibration measurement and analysis of microsystems, such as micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) by using stroboscopic digital speckle pattern interferometry (DSPI) is presented. Because of the speckle interferometry, the technique is suited for samples which have a rough surface or whose surfaces can be sprayed into a scattering surface. A laser speckle microinterferometer incorporated with optoelectronic devices for a stroboscopic illumination and a synchronization of the signals between excitation and stroboscopic illumination is described and demonstrated. The system can measure both out-of-plane and in-plane displacement under either a static or dynamic loading. The fundamental is explained and some applications are demonstrated.  相似文献

采用离面位移测量精度达到10 nm~20 nm的电子散斑干涉测量系统验证了双目视觉数字散斑相关测量系统的离面位移测量精度。分别用电子散斑干涉测量系统和双目视觉数字散斑相关测量系统同时测量了平板离面位移,并对所测量的位移最大值进行了分析处理及比较。结果表明,双目视觉数字散斑相关测量系统的物体离面位移分布云图与电子散斑干涉测量系统的结果基本相同,且两者位移均方根相差为2.76 m~3.56 m,相对误差为4.59%~7.60%。因此,当被测量物体的离面位移大于4 m时,双目视觉Q400测量系统精度可达到电子散斑干涉测量系统的精度。  相似文献

A new method of using time-averaged digital speckle pattern interferometry for the quantitative measurement of vibration amplitude was developed. Signal processing techniques especially the Hilbert transformation for quantitative evaluation of the Bessel fringes obtained in time-averaged digital speckle pattern interferometry were explored. The quadrature signal after Hilbert transformation is equivalent to a 90° phase-shifted interferogram for a monotonically increasing or decreasing phase function. An algorithm was developed for Bessel fringe contrast enhancement and phase extraction. The techniques were tested numerically and experimentally. Sub-fringe quantification of the time-averaged vibration fringes is realised with the proposed method. Compared with the commonly used phase shift method which requires a minimum of two images for image processing, this method requires only one fringe pattern for data extraction.  相似文献

In this paper, we are presenting measurement of static and dynamic deformations in rectangular plate fixed at one end using digital speckle pattern interferometry (DSPI). To improve the measurement accuracy, we have developed a new filtering scheme based on combination of average/median filtering and Symlet wavelet filtering which enhances the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in the speckle interferogram obtained from DSPI. Experimental results show that our filtering scheme is quite effective in improving SNR of the speckle interferogram. The measurements by DSPI and calculations from beam theory in the case of out-of-plane static deformation and the measurements by DSPI and accelerometer in the case of dynamic deformation are in good agreement.  相似文献

Electronic speckle pattern interferometry(ESPI) and digital speckle pattern interferometry are wellestablished non-contact measurement methods. They have been widely used to carry out precise deformation mapping. However, the simultaneous two-dimensional(2D) or three-dimensional(3D) deformation measurements using ESPI with phase shifting usually involve complicated and slow equipment. In this Letter, we solve these issues by proposing a modified ESPI system based on double phase modulations with only one laser and one camera. In-plane normal and shear strains are obtained with good quality. This system can also be developed to measure 3D deformation, and it has the potential to carry out faster measurements with a highspeed camera.  相似文献

A digital speckle pattern shearing interferometer is presented which utilizes a single birefringent wedge. Two orthogonally polarized images of an object measured are sheared by the wedge, and the bias phase difference between two polarized images is shifted by translating the wedge. The phase shifting technique applied to speckle pattern shearing interferometry makes it possible to analyze a slope and surface strain numerically. The fringe formation in the present interferometer is analyzed with statistical theory. Experimental results are also presented in two cases: (1) measurement of a slope and normal displacement with a single illumination; (2) simultaneous and separate measurement of a slope and surface strain with two symmetrical illuminations.  相似文献

提出了一种阵列式洛伦兹力微颗粒探测法,该方法结合了散斑干涉技术的全场位移测量、分辨率高等特性与洛伦兹力微颗粒探测法中探测量为矢量、可探测内部缺陷等优势,探索了一种实时、在线、原位的缺陷检测方法.针对阵列式洛伦兹力微颗粒探测法中阵列式排布的多个悬臂梁位移测量问题,设计了大剪切数字散斑干涉系统,使来自于被测悬臂梁和安装悬臂梁的横梁的反射光发生干涉,形成剪切干涉,通过对相位差进行分析获得悬臂梁的绝对位移,并且以洛伦兹力及悬臂梁末端的位移量为中间量建立了散斑干涉相位差与缺陷体积之间的关系.本文通过实验成功获得了悬臂梁全场位移量以及缺陷的体积,通过散斑干涉的方法测量悬臂梁位移量理论分辨率可达30 nm,这使洛伦兹力微颗粒探测法具备了微米级缺陷的探测能力.  相似文献

A novel optical system is proposed that implements digital speckle pattern interferometry (DSPI) and digital speckle photography (DSP) simultaneously using two wavelength illumination of an object for simultaneous measurement of all three components of the displacement vector field. A collimated red light illuminates both the object and a reference surface in a DSPI configuration which is sensitive to out-of-plane displacement field while a blue light illuminates the object in a DSP configuration which is sensitive to in-plane displacement fields. A color 3-CCD camera records the red and blue lights individually through its red and blue channels, respectively. Two reference images and one image in the deformed state of the object are required for quantitative measurement. Experimental results are presented to validate the system.  相似文献

Recently, a phase evaluation method was proposed to measure nanometric displacements by means of digital speckle pattern interferometry when the phase change introduced by the deformation is in the range [0,π) rad. This method is based on the evaluation of a correlation coefficient between two speckle interferograms generated by both deformation states of the object. In this paper, we present a novel technique to measure non-monotonous displacements in temporal speckle pattern interferometry using a correlation method without a temporal carrier. In this approach, the sign ambiguity is resolved automatically due to the introduction of a function that determines the correct sign of the displacement between two consecutive speckle interferograms. The rms phase errors introduced by the proposed method are determined using computer-simulated speckle interferograms. An application of the phase retrieval method to process experimental data is also presented.  相似文献
