The method of integration of dynamical systems admitting non-linear superpositions is applied to four-dimensional non-linear dynamical systems. All four-dimensional dynamical systems admitting non-linear superpositions with four-dimensional Vessiot-Guldberg-Lie algebras are classified into 160 standard forms. 给出一类强非线性动力系统周期解存在性,唯一性和稳定性的简易差别法以及周期解的摄动法。本差别法把问题归结为干扰力在相应的未扰系统振动周期上的功函数及其导数的讨论,其限制条件比现有结果弱。本摄动法可以认为是经典Lindstedt-Poincare(L-P)法在强非线性振动系统的推广。它与L-P法的主要区别在于假设系统的振动频率为相角的非线性函数。  相似文献

Based on the non-linear output frequency response functions (NOFRFs), a novel method is developed to detect the position of non-linear components in periodic structures. The detection procedure requires exciting the non-linear systems twice using two sinusoidal inputs separately. The frequencies of the two inputs are different; one frequency is twice as high as the other one. The validity of this method is demonstrated by numerical studies. Since the position of a non-linear component often corresponds to the location of defect in periodic structures, this new method is of great practical significance in fault diagnosis for mechanical and structural systems.  相似文献

A novel adaptive data driven control strategy is proposed for general discrete non-linear systems. The controller is designed based upon the Simultaneous Perturbation Stochastic Approximation (SPSA) method, and is constructed through use of a Function Approximator (FA), which is fixed as a neural network here. In this novel control strategy, the parametric estimation is designed to be adaptive with convergence analysis, and the control ability has been greatly improved. The proposed control method is finally applied into the non-linear tracking problems, as well as near-optimal control problems for discrete-time non-linear systems. Simulation comparison tests were conducted on typical non-linear plants, through which, the convergence and feasibility of the proposed adaptive data driven control strategy are well demonstrated.  相似文献

In this paper, a modified Lindstedt-Poincare method is proposed. In this technique, a constant, rather than the non-linear frequency, is expanded in powers of the expanding parameter to avoid the occurrence of secular terms in the perturbation series solution. Some examples are given here to illustrate its effectiveness and convenience. The results show that the obtained approximate solutions are uniformly valid on the whole solution domain, and they are suitable not only for weakly non-linear systems, but also for strongly non-linear systems.  相似文献

An approach combining the method of moment equations and the statistical linearization technique is proposed for analysis of the response of non-linear mechanical systems to random excitation. The adaptive statistical linearization procedure is developed for obtaining a more accurate mean square of responses. For these, a Duffing oscillator and an oscillator with cubic non-linear damping subject to white noise excitation are considered. It is shown that the adaptive statistical linearization proposed yields good accurate results for both weak and strong non-linear stochastic systems.Presented at the First European Solid Mechanics Conference, September 9–13, 1991. In this paper, an analytical approximation of damped oscillations of some strongly non-linear, planar Hamiltonian systems is considered. To apply the Krylov–Bogoliubov–Mitropolsky method in this strongly non-linear case, we mainly provide the formal and exact solutions of the homogeneous part of the variational equations with periodic coefficients resulting from the Hamiltonian systems. It is shown that these are simply expressed in terms of the partial derivatives of the solutions, written in action-angle variables, of the Hamiltonian systems. Two examples, including a non-linear harmonic oscillator and the Morse oscillator, are presented to illustrate this extension of the method. The approximate first order solution obtained in each case is observed to be quite satisfactory.  相似文献

The non-linear partial differential equation controlling the temperature distribution in a burning solid propellent in a rectangular, cylindrical or spherical coordinate system is transformed from a fixed coordinate system to a moving Lagrangian coordinate system, and then, using a similarity variable is further transformed to a non-linear, second order, ordinary differential equation. The burning wall temperature is time dependent, and the burning rate is an explicit function of the wall surface temperature.The boundary conditions for the resulting non-linear differential equation are given, and the necessary form of the burning rate is determined. Additionally, the linear partial differential equation for this burning solid propellent problem is also treated in all three coordinate systems. A non-linear example is given and solved, in all three coordinate systems, to illustrate the method.  相似文献

A non-linear attitude control method for a satellite with magnetic torque rods using the state-dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) technique has been developed. The magnetic torque caused by the interaction with the Earth's magnetic field and the magnetic moment of torque rods plays a role of the control torque. The detailed equations of motion for this system are presented using angular velocity and quaternions. The SDRE controller is developed for the non-linear systems which can be formed in pseudo-linear representations using the state-dependent coefficient (SDC) method without linearization procedure. The aim of this control system is to achieve a stable attitude within 5°, and minimize the control effort. The stability regions for the SDRE controlled satellite system are estimated through the investigation of the stability conditions developed for pseudo-linear systems and the application of Lyapunov's theorem. For comparisons, the Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) method using the solution of the algebraic Riccati equation (ARE) is also applied to this non-linear system. The performance of the SDRE non-linear control system demonstrates more robustness and stability than the LQR control system when subjected to a wide range of initial conditions.  相似文献

This work addresses the phase shift adjustment between the external forcing and the responses for strongly non-linear dynamic systems calculated by Harmonic Balance Method (HBM). The HBM offers fast and robust solutions for strongly non-linear systems operating in periodic regimes, however, the phase information when applying the harmonic balance method is lost. In this paper, a practical scheme for calculating the phase difference for a piecewise oscillator mimicking a vibro-impact system is proposed.  相似文献

In engineering practice, most mechanical and structural systems are modelled as multi-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) systems such as, e.g., the periodic structures. When some components within the systems have non-linear characteristics, the whole system will behave non-linearly. The concept of non-linear output frequency response functions (NOFRFs) was proposed by the authors recently and provides a simple way to investigate non-linear systems in the frequency domain. The present study is concerned with investigating the inherent relationships between the NOFRFs for any two masses of non-linear MDOF systems with multiple non-linear components. The results reveal very important properties of the non-linear systems. These properties clearly indicate how the system linear characteristic parameters govern the propagation of the non-linear effect induced by non-linear components in the system. One potential application of the results is to detect and locate faults in engineering structures which make the structures behave non-linearly.  相似文献

This paper presents new, approximate analytical solutions to large-amplitude oscillations of a general, inclusive of odd and non-odd non-linearity, conservative single-degree-of-freedom system. Based on the original general non-linear oscillating system, two new systems with odd non-linearity are to be addressed. Building on the approximate analytical solutions of odd non-linear systems developed by the authors earlier, we construct the new approximate analytical solutions to the original general non-linear system by combinatory piecing of the approximate solutions corresponding to, respectively, the two new systems introduced. These approximate solutions are valid for small as well as large amplitudes of oscillation for which the perturbation method either provides inaccurate solutions or is inapplicable. Two examples with excellent approximate analytical solutions are presented to illustrate the great accuracy and simplicity of the new formulation.  相似文献

The focus of this work is to develop a technique to obtain numerical solution over a long range of time for non-linear multi-body dynamic systems undergoing large amplitude motion. The system considered is an idealization of an important class of problems characterized by non-linear interaction between continuously distributed mass and stiffness and lumped mass and stiffness. This characteristic results in some distinctive features in the system response and also poses significant challenges in obtaining a solution.

In this paper, equations of motion are developed for large amplitude motion of a beam carrying a moving spring–mass. The equations of motion are solved using a new approach that uses average acceleration method to reduce non-linear ordinary differential equations to non-linear algebraic equations. The resulting non-linear algebraic equations are solved using an iterative method developed in this paper. Dynamics of the system is investigated using a time-frequency analysis technique.  相似文献

The paper is addressed at phenomenological mapping and mathematical analogies of oscillatory regimes in systems of coupled deformable bodies. Systems consist of coupled deformable bodies like plates, beams, belts or membranes that are connected through visco-elastic non-linear layer, modeled by continuously distributed elements of Kelvin–Voigt type with nonlinearity of third order. Using the mathematical analogies the similarities of structural models in systems of plates, beams, belts or membranes are obvious. The structural models consist by a set of two coupled non-homogenous partial non-linear differential equations. The problems to solve are divided into space and time domains by the classical Bernoulli–Fourier method. In the time domains the systems of coupled ordinary non-linear differential equations are completely analog for different systems of deformable bodies and are solved by using the Krilov–Bogolyubov–Mitropolskiy asymptotic method. This paper presents the beauty of mathematical analytical calculus which could be the same even for physically different systems.The mathematical numerical calculus is a powerful and useful tool for making the final conclusions between many input and output values. The conclusions about nonlinear phenomena in multi-body systems dynamics have been revealed from the particular example of double plate׳s system stationary and non-stationary oscillatory regimes.  相似文献

We suggest a new exact method that allows one to construct solutions to a wide class of linear and some model non-linear hydrodynamic-type systems. The method is based on splitting a system into a few simpler equations; two different representations of solutions (non-symmetric and symmetric) are given. We derive formulas that connect solutions to linear three-dimensional stationary and non-stationary systems (corresponding to different models of incompressible fluids in the absence of mass forces) with solutions to two independent equations, one of which being the Laplace equation and the other following from the equation of motion for any velocity component at zero pressure. To illustrate the potentials of the method, we consider the Stokes equations, describing slow flows of viscous incompressible fluids, as well as linearized equations corresponding to Maxwell's and some other viscoelastic models. We also suggest and analyze a differential-difference fluid model with a constant relaxation time. We give examples of integrable non-linear hydrodynamic-type systems. The results obtained can be suitable for the integration of linear hydrodynamic equations and for testing numerical methods designed to solve non-linear equations of continuum mechanics.  相似文献

It is well-known that vibration cutting is an effective method to cut materials with accuracy. However, it often suffers from unevenness of surface roughness caused by the non-linear vibration phenomena in tool-work vibration system. To solve this problem, we propose a vibration cutting model described by two-dimensional differential equations to analyze the non-linear phenomena. This non-linear model reproduces the basic features of the real vibration cutting systems, that is, the reduction of the cutting force and the displacement of work by pulsing of the cutting force. In this report, our experiment shows that various non-linear phenomena exist in the vibration cutting system. Our non-linear model for the vibration cutting produce behaviors which qualitatively agree with these various non-linear phenomena. These behaviors can be classified by the Lyapunov exponents.  相似文献

The averaged systems of hydrodynamic equations for a structured medium in the Lagrangian and the Eulerian coordinates are discussed. In the general case, the equations cannot be reduced to the average hydrodynamic terms. Under propagation of long waves in media with structure, the non-linear effects appear and they are analyzed in the framework of the asymptotic averaged model. The heterogeneity in a medium structure always increases the non-linear effects for the long-wave perturbations. A new method for diagnostics of the properties of medium components by long non-linear waves is suggested (inverse problem). The mass contents of components in the media can be determined by this diagnostic method.  相似文献

The method of eauivalent linearization is applied to the general problem of the response of non-linear discrete systems to non-stationary random excitation. Conditions for minimum equation difference are determined which do not depend explicitly on lime but only on the instantaneous statistics of the response process. Using the equivalent linear parameters, a deterministic non-linear ordinary differential equation for the covariance matrix is derived. An example is given of a damped Duffing oscillator subjected to modulated white noise.  相似文献
