Exact solutions to the elasticity theory problem in terms of stresses for an incompressible conical body of arbitrary shape under the action of a given concentrated force applied at its vertex are given and analyzed. A solution in terms of stresses with a singularity whose order is higher by one than that in the classical solution is discussed. The surface load at the boundary of the conical body corresponding to such a solution is obtained.  相似文献

A nonlinear theory of continuously distributed dislocation and disclination type defects in elastic media with intrinsic rotational degrees of freedom and couple stresses is proposed. The mediumstrains are assumed to be finite. The solving equations of the continuum theory of defects are obtained by passing to the limit from a discrete set of isolated dislocations and disclinations to their continuous distribution. The notions of dislocation and disclination densities in a micropolar body under large deformations are introduced. Incompatibility equations are obtained and a boundaryvalue problem of equilibriumis posed for an elastic micropolar body with a given density of distributed defects. A nonlinear problem of determining the intrinsic stresses in a hollow circular cylinder due to a given distribution of disclinations is solved.  相似文献

The problem treated here is that of an isotropic body having a doubly periodic rectangular or triangular array of perfectly bonded circular elastic inclusions. The body is in tension or compression. This simulates a composite material wherein a relatively weak matrix is reinforced by stronger (and more rigid) fibers. Bond stresses for both rectangular and triangular arrays have been calculated using either boundary point matching or boundary point least squares techniques. Numerical results based on a plane strain analysis are given in graphical form.  相似文献

If a body with a stiffer surface layer is loaded in compression, a surface wrinkling instability may be developed. A bifurcation analysis is presented for determining the critical load for the onset of wrinkling and the associated wavelength for materials in which the elastic modulus is an arbitrary function of depth. The analysis leads to an eigenvalue problem involving a pair of linear ordinary differential equations with variable coefficients which are discretized and solved using the finite element method.The method is validated by comparison with classical results for a uniform layer on a dissimilar substrate. Results are then given for materials with exponential and error-function gradation of elastic modulus and for a homogeneous body with thermoelastically induced compressive stresses.  相似文献

Equations have been obtained for determining residual stresses in the wall of a hollow, axially symmetric body consisting of concentric layers of elastically dissimilar materials, all having cylindrical elastic orthotropy. These equations permit residual normal stresses in the radial, circumferential, and axial directions and residual shear stresses on planes normal to the axis of the body to be calculated from measurements of the strains developed on the inner or outer cylindrical surface of the body as thin layers of stressed material are serially removed from the outer or inner surfaces, respectively. The equations are applied to a parametric study of stresses in an elastically isotropic, two-component body to determine the nature of the differences in stresses between the composite body and a homogeneous body as a function of the difference in elastic constants.  相似文献

A first strain gradient theory of thermoelasticity is formulated employing a method due to Mindlin. The basic equations for linear dynamical thermoelasticity for infinitesimal motion are obtained and discussed. Wave propagation is considered and an example of a spherical thermal inclusion in an infinite body is solved and the corresponding displacement field and the component of stresses, couple stresses, and double stresses are obtained.  相似文献

本文采用覆盖域的概念,给出受外力作用的任意形状弹性体采用Fredhikm积分方程组解法的统一表达式,而且就含洞的无限大体且远场应力不为零,边界上有集中力作用等特殊情况进行讨论并给出相应的表达式,对边界上作用力和覆盖域边界上作用力之间在合力和合力矩上的关系也作了讨论,文中给出的算例表明,对于一些简单情况可以求得解析解。而对于需要采用数值解的问题,本文工作具有精度高、收敛快的优点。  相似文献

The electroelastic problem for a transversely isotropic prolate ceramic spheroid is solved explicitly. The spheroid surface is free from external forces. The case is considered where the piezoceramic body is subjected to a given potential difference between electrodes partially covering the surface at the vertices. The normal component of electric-flux density is equal to zero on the noneletroded portion of the surface. The stress-strain state of an incompressible cylindrical elastic body with antiplane strain under the action of potential forces and surface loading constant along the body is considered in a nonlinear formulation in actual variables. The stresses are expressed via the pressure and independent strains, the pressure is expressed via the force and elastic potentials, and nonlinear boundary-value problems are posed for strains (and displacements). Various methods for solving these problems are developed. For an isotropic elasticity problem in stresses in three-dimensional space minus the origin, we study solutions that have the singularity 1/r 2 and, after the multiplication by r 2, polynomially depend on the direction cosines. In this polynomial class, for the equilibrium equation we write out the general solution that is a statically admissible (in the sense of Castigliano) solution of the Kelvin problem. We show that if one or several Beltrami equations are not satisfied, then the classical Kelvin solution becomes nonunique. A method for constructing nonunique solutions of this kind is given. The equivalence of various statements of the elasticity problem in stresses is discussed. For the problem on the action of a lumped force at the vertex of an arbitrary conical elastic body, we write out the exact solution in stresses for the case of an incompressible material. The solution for a compressible material is represented in the form of series in a parameter characterizing the deviation of the Poisson ratio from 1/2. We obtain iterative chains of problems in stresses and conditions for the finiteness of these chains. We also analyze the realizability of a linear-fractional dependence of the solution in stresses on the Poisson ratio.  相似文献

Non-dimensionalized equations and boundary conditions are presentedfor the torsion problem of an anisotropic body.The error of the fundamental solutioncited in some boundary element books is pointed out after an examination of thefundamental solution.Furthermore,a necessary and sufficient boundary integralequation is given for the problem and compared with the conventional boundaryintegral equation.Numerical results show that great errors of the boundary shearstresses obtained by the conventional boundary integral equation appear with a smallerror of torsion stiffness.Meanwhile,the necessary and sufficient boundary integralequation always gives accurate results.  相似文献

The paper addresses a stress–strain problem for an infinite soft ferromagnetic body with an elliptic inclusion. The body is in a homogeneous magnetic field B 01. The basic stress–strain characteristics and induced magnetic field in the body and inclusion are determined and their features in the neighborhood of the inclusion are studied. The magnetoelastic and Maxwell stresses are plotted against the ratio of ellipse axes and the latitude angle. A stress–strain problem is solved for an infinite isotropic magnetically soft body containing an elliptic inclusion. It is assumed that the body is in an external magnetic field. The basic characteristics of the stress–strain state and the induced magnetic field are determined and their features at the inclusion are analyzed. Graphs are drawn for the total magnetoelastic and Maxwell stresses versus the ratio of the ellipse axes and the angle of dip, and tabular maximum stresses versus the magnetic induction and the magnetic properties of the material.  相似文献

在作者提出的非连续变形计算力学模型中,采用接触力元模型描述多体接触界面上的接触特性.由于这种模型中假定接触应力沿接触界面为线性分布,从而得到的接触界面应力分布往往出现跳跃等非光滑性特征,该文对此进行了改进,采用具有高阶光滑性的非线性函数建立了能够考虑界面上接触应力非线性分布的接触力元模式,以期合理地揭示多体系统中界面的接触特性.对某一典型算例进行了数值计算,通过与大型通用非线性有限元结构分析软件ABASQUS的计算结果对比,验证了所建议计算模型的合理性与有效性.两种方法计算得到的界面接触对上的接触力基本相同;而由于采用的应力分布模式的假定不同,接触应力有所差别,由于在该文计算模型中接触对上的接触应力是按照未知量直接求得的,因此按照所建议的非线性接触力元模式所得到的接触应力更为合理.  相似文献

A model of water-saturated soil as an ideal liquid has already been proposed [1], Experimental investigations of shock waves [2] have shown that for small stresses in water-saturated soil features of a solid plastic body begin to manifest themselves. As regards its properties the soil approximates to the model proposed in [3].The results of tests on the interaction of a plane shock wave in the soil with a moving obstacle are given below. As a development of papers [2,4, 5] an approximate solution is given for the problem of the interaction of waves with an obstacle. At high pressures the ground is regarded as nonlinearly elastic, and at low pressures as a plastic medium. A similar approach may be applied to water-saturated and nonsaturated soils when the wave is a shock wave. Experimental values of the parameters of motion of the obstacle are compared with the results of calculation.The authors are grateful to S. D. Mizyakin for participating in the tests.  相似文献

A simulation model is presented for the creep process of the rotating disks under the radial pressure in the presence of body forces. The finite strain theory is applied. The material is described by the Norton-Bailey law generalized for true stresses and logarithmic strains. A mathematical model is formulated in the form of a set of four partial differential equations with respect to the radial coordinate and time. Necessary initial and boundary conditions are also given. To make the model complete, a numerical procedure is proposed. The given example shows the effectiveness of this procedure. The results show that the classical finite element method cannot be used here because both the geometry and the loading (body forces) change with the time in the creep process, and the finite elements need to be redefined at each time step.  相似文献

In this work, an elegant method is proposed to derive the thermoelastic field in- duced by thermomechanical loadings in a decagonal quasicrystalline composite composed of an infinite matrix reinforced by an elliptical inclusion. The thermomechanical loadings include a uniform temperature change, remote uniform in-plane heat fluxes and remote uniform in-plane stresses. The corresponding boundary value problem is ultimately reduced to the solution of two independent sets of four coupled linear algebraic equations, each of which involves four complex constants characterizing the internal stress field. The solution demonstrates that a uniform tem- perature change and remote uniform stresses will induce an internal uniform stress field, and that uniform heat fluxes will result in a linearly distributed internal stress field within the elliptical inclusion. The induced uniform rigid body rotation within the inclusion is given explicitly.  相似文献

We use the Betti theorem to obtain the integral equations of the dynamic theory of elasticity for a multilayer convex body with an arbitrary elastic anisotropy of layers containing plane infinitely thin cracks. The systems of integral equations relate the displacement jumps to the stresses on the crack lips and are stated numerically in terms of Fourier transforms. For the case of plane-parallel layers with a set of plane cracks on the interfaces between the layers, we propose a simple numerical-analytic method for constructing the Fourier symbol, i.e., the matrix of the kernel of the system of integral equations. The method is stable for an arbitrary combination of continuous and discontinuous conditions on the layer boundaries. Numerical examples are given for a packet of four heterogeneous anisotropic layers.  相似文献
