The differential equations governing transfer and stiffness matrices and acoustic impedance for a functionally graded generally anisotropic magneto-electro-elastic medium have been obtained. It is shown that the transfer matrix satisfies a linear 1st order matrix differential equation, while the stiffness matrix satisfies a nonlinear Riccati equation. For a thin nonhomogeneous layer, approximate solutions with different levels of accuracy have been formulated in the form of a transfer matrix using a geometrical integration in the form of a Magnus expansion. This integration method preserves qualitative features of the exact solution of the differential equation, in particular energy conservation. The wave propagation solution for a thick layer or a multilayered structure of inhomogeneous layers is obtained recursively from the thin layer solutions. Since the transfer matrix solution becomes computationally unstable with increase of frequency or layer thickness, we reformulate the solution in the form of a stable stiffness-matrix solution which is obtained from the relation of the stiffness matrices to the transfer matrices. Using an efficient recursive algorithm, the stiffness matrices of the thin nonhomogeneous layer are combined to obtain the total stiffness matrix for an arbitrary functionally graded multilayered system. It is shown that the round-off error for the stiffness-matrix recursive algorithm is higher than that for the transfer matrices. To optimize the recursive procedure, a computationally stable hybrid method is proposed which first starts the recursive computation with the transfer matrices and then, as the thickness increases, transits to the stiffness matrix recursive algorithm. Numerical results show this solution to be stable and efficient. As an application example, we calculate the surface wave velocity dispersion for a functionally graded coating on a semispace.  相似文献

Considerations of nonlocal elasticity and surface effects in micro-and nanoscale beams are both important for the accurate prediction of natural frequency. In this study, the governing equation of a nonlocal Timoshenko beam with surface effects is established by taking into account three types of boundary conditions: hinged–hinged, clamped–clamped and clamped–hinged ends. For a hinged–hinged beam, an exact and explicit natural frequency equation is obtained. However, for clamped–clamped and clamped–hinged beams, the solutions of corresponding frequency equations must be determined numerically due to their transcendental nature. Hence, the Fredholm integral equation approach coupled with a curve fitting method is employed to derive the approximate fundamental frequency equations, which can predict the frequency values with high accuracy. In short,explicit frequency equations of the Timoshenko beam for three types of boundary conditions are proposed to exhibit directly the dependence of the natural frequency on the nonlocal elasticity, surface elasticity, residual surface stress, shear deformation and rotatory inertia, avoiding the complicated numerical computation.  相似文献

An approximate formulation is given to a dynamic coupled thermomechanical problem for physically nonlinear inelastic thin-walled structural elements within the framework of a geometrically linear theory and the Kirchhoff–Love hypotheses. A simplified model is used to describe the vibrations and dissipative heating of inhomogeneous physically nonlinear bodies under harmonic loading. Nonstationary vibroheating problem is solved. The dissipative function obtained from the solution for steady-state vibrations is used to simulate internal heat sources. For the partial case of forced vibrations of a beam, the amplitude–frequency characteristics of the field quantities are studied within a wide frequency range. The temperature characteristics for the first and second resonance modes are compared.  相似文献

基于Kane方程,建立起了包含有耦合的三次几何及惯性非线性项大范围直线运动梁动力学控制方程.利用多尺度法并结合笛卡尔坐标变换,对所得方程进行一次近似展开,着重对满足一、二阶模态间3:1内共振现象的两端铰支梁参激振动平凡解稳定性进行了详尽的分析,得出了稳定性边界的解析表达式.采用中心流形定理对调制微分方程组进行降维处理,分析了相应Hopf分岔类型并通过数值计算发现了稳定的极限环存在.  相似文献

Reflection of elastic waves from a traction-free solid-air boundary of periodic saw-tooth profile is investigated analytically and experimentally. For an incident plane wave the surface displacements on the profile are computed as the solution of a singular integral equation. The reflected field is subsequently obtained by using an integral representation. Incident beams of finite width are represented by Fourier superpositions of plane waves. The dependence of the reflected signal spectra on the incident beam width is examined closely near the fundamental surface resonance frequency. Experimental spectra which were obtained using two different diameter transducers, are compared to the corresponding theoretical spectra. It is found that the depth of the spectral minima depends on the incident beam width. Both analytical and experimental results exhibit the splitting of an incident beam of elastic waves into two reflected beams. The beam splitting is more pronounced for a narrower incident beam and for frequencies close to a resonance frequency of the profile.  相似文献

The evaporation and condensation of a polyatomic vapor in contact with its condensed phase has received much less attention than the monatomic case. In this paper we investigate the structure of the Knudsen layer formed in the steady evaporation of a vapor whose molecules behave as rigid rotators. The vapor motion is obtained by the numerical solution of the Boltzmann equation by the Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method. The obtained results are also compared with the solutions of a simplified kinetic BGK-like model equation. It is shown that density and temperature drops across the Knudsen layer are reasonably well reproduced by approximate methods proposed in the literature.  相似文献

应用虚功原理,推导了考虑恒载效应影响时拱形梁在活载作用下的非线性微分方程,得到了方程的近似闭合解。根据方程的解,讨论了恒载大小及结构自身刚度(矢高、跨度、惯性矩及惯性半径等)不同因素在考虑恒载效应时对拱形梁静力特性的影响。通过与Takabatake得到的直梁解析解结果及作者在其他文献提出的有限元方法对拱形梁分析结果的比较,验证了本文非线性微分方程及其求解公式。结果表明,本文给出的非线性微分方程对于拱形梁和直线梁具有通用性,初始恒载的存在减小了拱形梁在活载作用下的静力反应,这种影响与恒载的大小及结构自身的刚度有关,对轻型结构的设计提出了一些建议。  相似文献

This paper aims at analyzing the shapes of the bounded traveling wave solu- tions for a class of nonlinear wave equation with a quintic term and obtaining its damped oscillatory solutions. The theory and method of planar dynamical systems are used to make a qualitative analysis to the planar dynamical system which the bounded traveling wave solutions of this equation correspond to. The shapes, existent number, and condi- tions are presented for all bounded traveling wave solutions. The bounded traveling wave solutions are obtained by the undetermined coefficients method according to their shapes, including exact expressions of bell and kink profile solitary wave solutions and approxi- mate expressions of damped oscillatory solutions. For the approximate damped oscillatory solution, using the homogenization principle, its error estimate is given by establishing the integral equation, which reflects the relation between the exact and approximate so- lutions. It can be seen that the error is infinitesimal decreasing in the exponential form.  相似文献

A regular wave integral method is developed in the discretisation of a linear hydrodynamic problem on radiation and diffraction of surface waves by a floating or submerged body. The velocity potential of the problem is expressed as a solution of a body boundary integral equation involving the pulsating free surface Green function or pulsating free surface sources distributed on the body surface. With the use of a discretisation on the regular wave integral rather than discretisations on the singular wave integral of the Green function as in earlier investigations, the singular wave integral is approximated as an expansion of regular (or nonirregular) wave potentials. Influence coefficients between pulsating free surface source points are computed by the approximate expansion together with Hess–Smith panel integral formulas. Thus the velocity potential solution is evaluated by a boundary element algorithm. The numerical results produced from the proposed method agree well with semi-analytic solution results.  相似文献

This paper proposes an approximate explicit probability density function for the analysis of external and parametric oscillation of a simply supported beam driven by random pulses. The impulsive loading model adopted is Poisson white noise, which is a process having Dirac delta occurrences with random intensity distributed in time according to Poisson's law. The response probability density function can be obtained by solving the related Kolmogorov–Feller integro-differential equation. An approximate solution is derived by transforming this equation to a first-order partial differential equation. The method of characteristics is then applied to obtain an explicit solution. The quasi-adiabatic regime of free oscillation of a bubble in the presence of irreversible interphase heat transfer between the bubble and the ambient liquid is studied. On the basis of simplified model equations of a rarefield bubble mixture, a nonlinear-oscillation equation of the relaxation type is obtained. In constructing an exact particular solution of this equation, the heat transfer law associated with bubble compression is established. For studying the harmonic oscillations, the Krylov-Bogolyubov-Mitropol’skii asymptotic method is used. It is shown that, for a small bubble, the viscosity and heat transfer effects are of the same order. For a small bubble, the influence of these effects on the formation of the natural-oscillation frequency, which is small in the linear approximation, may be significant in the nonlinear formulation. For a large bubble, the influence of these effects is negligible in both approximations. For the approximate solution of the nonlinear equation, a uniformly valid second-order expansion is constructed.  相似文献

We study stability of N-solitary wave solutions of the Fermi-Pasta-Ulam (FPU) lattice equation. Solitary wave solutions of the FPU lattice equation cannot be characterized as critical points of conservation laws due to the lack of infinitesimal invariance in the spatial variable. In place of standard variational arguments for Hamiltonian systems, we use an exponential stability property of the linearized FPU equation in a weighted space which is biased in the direction of motion. The dispersion of the linearized FPU equation balances the potential term for low frequencies, whereas the dispersion is superior for high frequencies.We approximate the low frequency part of a solution of the linearized FPU equation by a solution to the linearized Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation around an N-soliton solution. We prove an exponential stability property of the linearized KdV equation around N-solitons by using the linearized Bäcklund transformation and use the result to analyze the linearized FPU equation.  相似文献

本文研究了空气耦合层状复合材料的声传播。从基本波动方程出发,由气固边界条件,利用势函数法求解声波任意角入射层状复合材料的声传播,并通过数值计算得到其透声系数幅度和相位随频率变化的规律。基于MATLAB建立了测量任一入射角透声系数的实验平台,并对复合材料试样进行了实验,得到的透声系数幅度与理论计算结果吻合,说明了所建立的声传播理论和实验检测方法的有效性。  相似文献

In this paper, a new analytical method for vibration analysis of a cracked simply supported beam is investigated. By considering a nonlinear model for the fatigue crack, the governing equation of motion of the cracked beam is solved using perturbation method. The solution of the governing equation reveals the superhaxmonics of the fundamental frequency due to the nonlinear effects in the dynamic response of the cracked beam. Furthermore, considering such a solution, an explicit expression is also derived for the system damping changes due to the changes in the crack parameters, geometric dimensions and mechanical properties of the cracked beam. The results show that an increase in the crack severity and approaching the crack location to the middle of the beam increase the system damping. In order to validate the results, changes in the fundamental frequency ratios against the fatigue crack severities are compared with those of experimental results available in the literature. Also, a comparison is made between the free response of the cracked beam with a given crack depth and location obtained by the proposed analytical solution and that of the numerical method. The results of the proposed method agree with the experimental and numerical results.  相似文献

针对桩与连续梁组合这一基础形式,研究了梁—桩—土竖向耦合振动特性. 首先,将桩假设为一维黏弹性杆件,采用平面应变模型模拟桩侧成层土对桩的动力作用. 同时,桩顶对梁的支撑简化为竖向点支撑. 然后,分别根据一维杆件纵向振动理论和Timoshenko梁理论给出桩和梁的竖向振动控制方程并求解,进而借助离散傅里叶逆变换获得在梁上瞬时激振下梁和土层以上桩段的时域响应半解析解. 通过与有限元模拟结果对比,验证了解的合理性. 在此基础上,讨论了梁几何参数和桩身缺陷对梁—桩—土竖向耦合振动特性的影响.   相似文献

以复模两相饱和介质Biot动力学方程为基础,根据该方程D'Alembert解的Fourier变换所属的Homholtz方程特性,由Biot方程解的相容性条件及δ函数性质较好地解决了快、慢纵波位势的耦合问题.较为简便地得到了两相饱和介质在集中力作用下低频(ω<ωc)时的频域和时域的Green函数.  相似文献
