Summary From the combined phospholipids of the seeds ofDipthychocarpus strictus (Fisch.) Trautv. the less polar phospholipid with R f 0.9 has been isolated, and on the basis of spectra and chemical information it has been identified as N-acylphosphatidylethanolamine. The total fatty-acid composition and also the O- and N-acyls have been determined. Methanolic extraction ofDicentra spectabilis L., collected in the flowering period in the botanical garden of Pyatigorsk Pharmaceutical Institute, has yielded 0.17% of combined alkaloids from the epigeal part and 0.25% from the roots. By the separation of these materials, dihydrosanguinarine, sanguinarine, scoulerine, cheilanthifoline, corydine, and protopine have been obtained.Dicentra peregrina Rudolph, collected in the flowering period on the island of Sakhalin, has yielded 1.8% of combined alkaloids from the epigeal part and 1.51% from the roots. The synthesis has been effected of immobilizedE. coli L-asparaginase on medical dextran — poliglyukin. The influence of the bound polymer on some physicochemical properties of the final products have been studied. An increased resistance to heat and stability on storage of the immobilized forms of L-asparagine in comparison with a native enzyme has been found. Summary The qualitative and quantitative changes in the composition of the combined bases inReseda luteola during the vegetation periods have been studied. From the epigeal part of the plant we have isolated cinnamamide and two new alkaloids: lutine and lutinine. The reductive amination ofl-menthol with aliphatic nitriles has been studied. A probable scheme of the mechanism of the reaction has been put forward and the stereochemical composition of its products has been determined. It has been established with the aid of the13C NMR method that the reaction forms a mixture of isomeric optically-active N-alkylmenthyl-, -neomenthyl-, -isomenthyl-, and-neoisomenthyl-amines in a ratio of 54:24:17:5. Summary The compositions of the neutral lipids of the mycelium and of the culture liquid from the pathogenic fungusVerticillium dahliae Kleb. have been investigated for the first time. The fatty-acid compositions of the main lipid fractions and the glyceride composition of the triglyceride fraction have been determined.
