In this article, a new ligandless dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction method has been developed for preconcentration of trace quantities of silver as a prior step to its determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. In the proposed approach, carbon tetrachloride and ethanol were used as extraction and dispersive solvents. Several factors that may be affected on the extraction process, like, extraction solvent, disperser solvent, the volume of extraction and disperser solvent, pH of the aqueous solution and extraction time were optimized. Under the optimal conditions, the calibration curve was linear in the range of 5.0 ng mL−1 to 2.0 μg mL−1 of silver with R2 = 0.9995 (n = 9) and detection limit based on three times the standard deviation of the blank (3Sb) was 1.2 ng mL−1 in original solution. The relative standard deviation for eight replicate determination of 0.5 μg mL−1 silver was ±1.5%. The high efficiency of dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction to carry out the determination of silver in complex matrices was demonstrated. The proposed method has been applied for determination of trace amount of silver in standard and water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

In this article, a new ligandless solidified floating organic drop microextraction (LL-SFODME) method has been developed for preconcentration of trace amount of cadmium as a prior step to its determination by flow injection-flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FI-FAAS). The methodology is based on the SFODME of cadmium with 1-dodecanol in the absence of chelating agent. Several factors affecting the microextraction efficiency, such as, pH, sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (SDBS) concentration, extraction time, stirring rate and temperature were investigated and optimized. Under optimized experimental conditions an enhancement factor of 205 was obtained for 100 mL of sample solution. The calibration graph was linear in the range of 1.0-25.0 ng mL−1, the limit of detection (3s) was 0.21 ng mL−1 and the limit of quantification (10s) was 0.62 ng mL−1. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for 10 replicate measurements of 10 ng mL−1 cadmium was 4.7%. The developed method was successfully applied to the extraction and determination of cadmium in standard and several water samples and satisfactory results were obtained.  相似文献

The rapid and solvent-free determination of organophosphate esters (OPEs) in aqueous samples via one-step microwave-assisted headspace solid-phase microextraction (MA-HS-SPME) followed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis is described. Tri-n-butyl phosphate (TnBP) and tris-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (TEHP) were selected as model compounds for the method of development and validation. The effects of various extraction parameters for the quantitative extraction of these analytes by MA-HS-SPME were systematically investigated and optimized. The analytes, in a 20 mL water sample (in a 40 mL sample bottle containing 2 g of NaCl, pH 3.0), were efficiently extracted by a polydimethylsiloxane-divinylbenzene (PDMS-DVB) fiber placed in the headspace when the system was microwave irradiated at 140 W for 5 min. The limits of quantification (LOQs) for TnBP and TEHP were 0.5 and 4 ng/L, respectively. Using the standard addition method, MA-HS-SPME coupled with GC-MS was utilized to determine selected OPEs in surface water and wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) influent/effluent samples. Preliminary results show that TnBP was commonly detected OPEs in these aqueous samples, the correlation coefficients (r2) of the standard addition curves were greater than 0.9822, indicating that the developed method appears to be a good alternative technique for analyzing OPEs in aqueous samples.  相似文献

A three-phase liquid microextraction procedure for the determination of mercury at low concentrations is discussed. To the aqueous sample placed at pH 7 by means of a phosphate buffer, 0.002% (m/v) 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) is incorporated, and the mixture submitted to microextraction with a hollow-fiber impregnated with toluene and whose lumen contains a 0.05 mol L−1 ammonium iodide solution. The final measurement of the extract is carried out by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (300 °C and 1100 °C for the calcination and atomization temperatures, respectively). The pyrolytic graphite atomizer is coated electrolytically with palladium. An enrichment factor of 270, which results in a 0.06 μg L−1 mercury for the detection limit is obtained. The relative standard deviation at the 1 μg L−1 mercury level is 3.2% (n = 5). The reliability of the procedure is verified by analyzing waters as well as six certified reference materials.  相似文献

A new method for the determination of palladium was developed by dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction preconcentration and graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry detection. In the proposed approach, diethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC) was used as a chelating agent, and carbon tetrachloride and ethanol were selected as extraction and dispersive solvent. Some factors influencing the extraction efficiency of palladium and its subsequent determination, including extraction and dispersive solvent type and volume, pH of sample solution, concentration of the chelating agent and extraction time, were studied and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the enrichment factor of this method for palladium reached at 156. The detection limit for palladium was 2.4 ng L−1 (3σ), and the relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) was 4.3% (n = 7, c = 1.0 ng mL−1). The method was successfully applied to the determination of trace amount of palladium in water samples.  相似文献

A novel method for electrically assisted microextraction coupled to liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry was evaluated for determination of trace levels of parathion in water. A pencil lead electrode was used in a di-electrode system to extract parathion onto the electrode surface with a reductive potential applied. The optimum extraction conditions were found to be a potential of −600 mV for 60 s in pH 2 phosphate buffer solution. The parathion was desorbed statically for 1 min and dynamically for 3 min in the commercial SPME-HPLC desorption chamber, then analyzed with LC-APCI-MS/MS. The detection limit (LOD) for parathion in water was found to be 0.3 ng/mL. The proposed technique was demonstrated to be fast, sensitive and not require a solvent sample pretreatment.  相似文献

A rapid, sensitive and efficient liquid phase microextraction (LPME) method was developed to determine trace concentrations of some organophosphorus pesticides in water samples. This method combines liquid phase microextraction with gas chromatographic (GC) analysis in a simple and inexpensive apparatus involving very little organic solvent consumption. It involves exposing a floated drop of an organic solvent on the surface of aqueous solution in a sealed vial. Experimental parameters which control the performance of LPME such as type of organic solvent, organic solvent and sample volumes, sample stirring rate, sample solution temperature, salt addition and exposure time were investigated and optimized. Finally, the enrichment factor, dynamic linear range (DLR), limit of detection (LOD) and precision of the method were evaluated by the water samples spiked with organophosphorus pesticides. Using optimum extraction conditions, very low detection limits (0.01-0.04 μg L−1) and good linearities (0.9983 < r2 < 0.9999) were achieved. The LPME was performed for determination of organophosphorus pesticides in different types of natural water samples and acceptable recoveries (96-104%) and precisions (3.5 < R.S.D.% < 8.9) were obtained. The results suggested that the newly proposed LPME method is a rapid, accurate and effective sample preparation method and could be successfully applied for extraction and determination of organophosphorus pesticides in water samples.  相似文献

A novel, simple and low cost method for the determination of nitrite using headspace single-drop microextraction and cuvetteless ultraviolet-visible micro-spectrophotometry is described. A Griess reagent-containing aqueous microdrop exposed to the headspace was used as extractant of the volatile nitrogen oxides generated from nitrite by direct acidification of the aqueous sample. Experimental parameters affecting the headspace single-drop microextraction performance such as composition and volume of the extractant phase, sample volume, concentration of acetic acid, ionic strength, sample agitation, temperature and microextraction time were systematically examined. Measurements were carried out at 540 nm under optimized conditions. A detection limit of 1.5 μg L−1 and an enrichment factor of 193 were achieved. Intra-day repeatability and inter-day reproducibility, expressed as relative standard deviation, were 3.5% (n = 7) and 10.6% (three consecutive days), respectively. The proposed method, characterized by its enhanced sensitivity and selectivity in comparison with the standardized colorimetric assay, was successfully applied to the analysis of several environmental water samples.  相似文献

A novel poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-ionic liquid (i.e., 1-hydroxyethyl-3-methyl imidazolium-bis[(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl]imide) composite film was electrodeposited on a Pt wire for headspace solid-phase microextraction. The film showed nodular structure and had large specific surface. In addition, it displayed high thermal stability (up to 300 °C) and durable property (could be used for more than 200 times). Coupled with gas chromatography-flame ionization detection, the resulting fiber was applied to the headspace solid-phase microextraction and determination of several alcohols (i.e., linalool, nonanol, terpineol, geraniol, decanol and dodecanol). It presented higher extraction capability in comparison with the poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) and commercial polydimethylsiloxane/divinylbenzene fiber. Under the optimized conditions, the linear ranges exceeded three magnitudes with correlation coefficients above 0.9952 and the low limits of detection were 34.2–81.3 ng L−1. For different alcohols the repeatabilities (defined as RSD) were <5.8% and <7.8% for single fiber (n = 5) and fiber-to-fiber (n = 4), respectively. The proposed method was applied to the determination of these alcohols in real samples with acceptable recoveries from 81.1% to 106.6%.  相似文献

A flow injection method with on-line solid sample dissolution was developed for the determination of fluoride in phosphate rock. The fluoride was selectively leached (98-102.4 % recovery) from a 50-mg powdered phosphate rock sample with 0.50 M citric acid. Using the zone sampling technique the fluoride in the buffered leachate was determined by injecting 87 μL into the carrier stream using a fluoride ion-selective electrode detector. The sensing element of the electrode was housed in a home-made sleeve-type flow-through cell. On-line solid sample digestion with 0.50 M citric acid at 55 °C resulted in minimum dissolution of interfering iron and aluminum ions with improved accuracy and calibration linearity. The incorporation of relatively high level of fluoride in the carrier stream (40 μg mL−1) facilitated the determination of high levels of fluoride in phosphate rock (up to 4.1%) with out the need for excessive on-line dilution. The optimized flow system was applied for the determination of fluoride in phosphate rocks samples and a reference material at a rate of nine samples per hour with a relative standard deviation (n = 5) of 2.95-4.0 %. Comparison of the proposed flow injection method with the standard method, which involves steam distillation from sulfuric acid solution and manual titration with thorium nitrate, showed no evidence of bias at the 95% confidence level.  相似文献

Room temperature ionic liquids can be considered as environmentally benign solvents with unique physicochemical properties. Ionic liquids can be used as extractant phases in SDME, being compatible with chromatographic systems. A single-drop microextraction method was developed for separation and preconcentration of mercury species (MeHg+, EtHg+, PhHg+ and Hg2+), which relies on the formation of the corresponding dithizonates and microextraction of these neutral chelates onto a microdrop of an ionic liquid. Afterwards, the separation and determination were carried out by high-performance liquid chromatography with a photodiode array detector. Variables affecting the formation and extraction of mercury dithizonates were optimized. The optimum conditions found were: microextraction time, 20 min; stirring rate, 900 rpm; pH, 11; ionic liquid type, 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([C6MIM][PF6]); drop volume, 4 μL; and no sodium chloride addition. Limits of detection were between 1.0 and 22.8 μg L−1 for the four species of mercury, while the repeatability of the method, expressed as relative standard deviation, was between 3.7 and 11.6% (n = 8). The method was finally applied to the determination of mercury species in different water samples.  相似文献

Ultrasound-assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection was used for the extraction and determination of three biogenic amines including octopamine, tyramine and phenethylamine in rice wine samples. Fluorescence probe 2,6-dimethyl-4-quinolinecarboxylic acid N-hydroxysuccinimide ester was applied for derivatization of biogenic amines. Acetonitrile and 1-octanol were used as disperser solvent and extraction solvent, respectively. Extraction conditions including the type of extraction solvent, the volume of extraction solvent, ultrasonication time and centrifuging time were optimized. After extraction and centrifuging, analyte was injected rapidly into high-performance liquid chromatography and then detected with fluorescence. The calibration graph of the proposed method was linear in the range of 5–500 μg mL−1 (octopamine and tyramine) and 0.025–2.5 μg mL−1 (phenethylamine). The relative standard deviations were 2.4–3.2% (n = 6) and the limits of detection were in the range of 0.02–5 ng mL−1. The method was applied to analyze the rice wine samples and spiked recoveries in the range of 95.42–104.56% were obtained. The results showed that ultrasound-assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction was a very simple, rapid, sensitive and efficient analytical method for the determination of trace amount of biogenic amines.  相似文献

In this article, we report a new method that involves headspace single-drop microextraction and ion chromatography for the preconcentration and determination of fluoride. The method lies in the in situ hydrogen fluoride generation and subsequent sequestration into an alkaline microdrop (15 μL) exposed to the headspace above the stirred aqueous sample. The NaF formed in the drop was then determined by ion chromatography. The influences of some crucial single-drop microextraction parameters such as the extraction temperature, extraction time, sample stirring speed, sulphuric acid concentration and ionic strength of the sample, on extraction efficiency were investigated. In the optimal condition, an enrichment factor of 97 was achieved in 15 min. The calibration working range was from 10 μg L−1 to 2000 μg L−1 (R2 = 0.998), and the limit of detection (signal to noise ratio of 3) was 3.8 μg L−1 of fluoride. Finally, the proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of fluoride in different milk samples. The recoveries of fluoride (at spiked concentrations of 200 μg L−1 and 600 μg L−1 into milk) in real samples ranged from 96.9% to 107.7%. Intra-day precision (N = 3) in terms of peak area, expressed as relative standard deviation, was found to be within the range of 0.24-1.02%.  相似文献

A solid-phase microextraction (SPME) method for the determination of five amphetamine type stimulants (ATSs) in water and urine samples is presented. Analytes were simultaneously derivatized with iso-butyl chloroformate (iBCF) in the aqueous sample while being extracted, improving in this way the extractability of ATSs and permitting their determination by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS). The SPME procedure was carefully optimized in order to achieve adequate limits of detection (LODs) for environmental concentrations. Hence, different operational parameters were considered: type of SPME coating, ionic strength, basic catalyzer and derivatizing agent amount, extraction time and temperature. The final SPME procedure consists into the extraction of 100 mL of sample containing 2 g of dipotassium monohydrogen phosphate trihydrate and 100 μL of iBCF (1:1 in acetonitrile), for 40 min at 60 °C with a polydimethylsiloxane-divinylbenzene (PDMS-DVB) fiber. Under these conditions, LODs in wastewater ranged from 0.4 to 2 ng L−1, relative recoveries in the 84–114% range and relative standard deviations (RSD) lower than 15% were obtained. The application of the method to wastewater and river water samples showed the ecstasy ATS, 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), as the most frequently detected, followed by methamphetamine, in concentrations around 20 ng L−1. Finally, the method was downscaled and also validated with urine samples, proving its good performance with this matrix too: RSD < 11%, recoveries in the 98–110% range and LODs lower than 0.1 μg L−1.  相似文献

A miniaturized method based on liquid-phase microextraction (LPME) in combination with microvolume UV-vis spectrophotometry for monitoring ammonia in waters is proposed. The methodology is based on the extraction of the ion pair formed between the blue indophenol obtained according to the Berthelot reaction and a quaternary ammonium salt into a microvolume of organic solvent. Experimental parameters affecting the LPME performance such as type and concentration of the quaternary ammonium ion salt required to form the ion pair, type and volume of extractant solvent, effect of disperser solvent, ionic strength and extraction time, were optimized. A detection limit of 5.0 μg L−1 ammonia and an enrichment factor of 30 can be attained after a microextraction time of 4 min. The repeatability, expressed as relative standard deviation, was 7.6% (n = 7). The proposed method can be successfully applied to the determination of trace amounts of ammonia in several environmental water samples.  相似文献

A rapid and reliable analytical method suitable for the simultaneous determination of the antiepileptic drug, oxcarbazepine and its metabolites in human plasma and saliva by means of liquid chromatography with diode array detection (DAD) has been developed. Oxcarbazepine and its metabolites (10,11-dihydro-10-hydroxycarbamazepine, trans-10,11-dihydro-10,11-dihydroxycarbamazepine and 3-hydroxycarbamazepine) were baseline separated within 6.5 min on a reversed-phase C18 column with a phosphate buffer-acetonitrile-triethylamine mixture as the mobile phase. The DAD detector was set at 240 nm. A sample preparation method for biological samples using a microextraction by packed sorbent technique has been implemented, employing a C18 sorbent inserted into a microvolume syringe and using only a small volume (25 μL) of plasma or saliva. The extraction yield values were satisfactory for all analytes (>86.5%) as well as the precision data, which were always in the low percentage of relative standard deviation values (<4.6%). The method was successfully applied to both plasma and saliva samples drawn from psychiatric and neurological patients undergoing treatment with oxcarbazepine (Tolep®) tablets.  相似文献

A kinetic spectrophotometric procedure was developed for determination of submicromolar orthophosphate based on the reaction in which orthophosphate serves as a catalyst in the reduction of molybdenum, and the initial rate of molybdenum-blue formation (λmax = 780 nm) is proportional to the concentration of orthophosphate in the samples. The detection limit (3 × standard deviation of blank, n = 8) was 6 nM and the linear calibration ranged from 10 to 100 nM (r2 = 0.997). The precisions of this method were 3.3% at 10 nM and 5.4% at 50 nM (n = 8), respectively. Similar to other molybdate based methods, silica and arsenate in the samples can interfere with phosphate determination. The responses of silicate and arsenate were about 25% and 7% of that of orthophosphate, respectively, and their interferences were enhanced in the presence of phosphate in the samples due to the synergistic effect of phosphate with arsenate or silicate on the molybdate reagent.  相似文献

Camptothecin (CPT) and its derivative have been revealed to possess special anti-cancer activity, extraction methods are necessary for trace determination of CPTs in complex samples. In this work, we prepared a high efficient boronic acid-based polymer monolithic layer for microextraction of CPTs. A disposable membrane filter-based extraction device was developed, and boronic acid groups were co-polymerized into a polyporous polymer skeleton and served as the monolithic sorbent. The prepared poly(4-VB-MA-TRIM) showed good stability and great extraction efficiency toward four CPTs. After optimization of extraction conditions, poly(4-VB-MA-TRIM)-based solid-phase microextraction was coupled HPLC for determination of CPTs in biological samples. The method exhibited low limits of detection of 0.05–0.2 ng mL−1, which is significantly more sensitive than reported HPLC methods. The method also showed wide linear range (0.1–100 and 0.5–200 ng mL−1), good linearity (R2 ≥ 0.9981) and good reproducibility (RSD ≤3.76%). The method has been applied in plasma samples, with good selectivity and good recoveries ranging from 85.1 to 104.7%.  相似文献

A method has been established for the determination of four pharmaceutically active compounds (ibuprofen, ketoprofen, naproxen and clofibric acid) in water samples using dynamic hollow fiber liquid-phase microextraction (HF/LPME) followed by gas chromatography (GC) injection port derivatization and GC–mass spectrometric (MS) determination. Dynamic HF/LPME is a novel approach to microextraction that involves the use of a programmable syringe pump to move the liquid phases participating in the extraction so as to facilitate the process. Trimethylanilinium hydroxide (TMAH) was used as derivatization reagent for the analytes to increase their volatility and improve chromatographic separation. Parameters that affect extraction efficiency (selection of organic solvent, volume of organic solvent, agitation in the donor phase, plunger movement and extraction time) were investigated. Under optimal conditions, the proposed method provided good enrichment factors up to 251, reproducibility ranging from 3.26% to 10.61%, and good linearity from 0.2 to 50 μg/L. The limits of detection ranged between 0.01 and 0.05 μg/L (S/N = 3) using selective ion monitoring. This method was applied to the determination of the four pharmaceutically active compounds in tap water and wastewater collected from a drain in the vicinity of a hospital.  相似文献
