We investigate the optical trapping effect of high-order Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) beams acting on a dielectric sphere in Rayleigh regime. For LG beams with the azimuthal mode index l=0, it is found that under the same input power, the transverse trapping effect can be enhanced several times with increasing the radial mode index p, compared with that of the Gaussian beam; while its axial trapping effect is exactly the same as that of Gaussian beam, although the central trapping region reduces as p increases. For LG beams with l≥1, we find that the maximal transverse gradient forces increase with the increasing of p and the axial radiation forces reduces slightly, therefore an optimal choose on p and l is necessary for obtaining an optimal optical guiding. Our result is useful for analyzing the trapping efficiency of LG beams applied in micromanipulation technologies.  相似文献

We study the abruptly autofocusing and autodefocusing properties of the circular Airy Gaussian vortex(CAi GV)beams in strongly nonlocal nonlinear medium for the first time through numerical simulations.The magnitude of topological charges and the position of the vortex could change not only the light spot pattern but also the intensity contrast.Meanwhile,we can change the position of the autofocusing and autodefocusing planes by changing the parameter of the incident beam.Furthermore,we can control the peak intensity contrast through choosing properly the truncation factor.As for the radiation force,we study the gradient and the scattering forces of CAi GV beams on Rayleigh dielectric sphere.Our analyses demonstrate that the radiation force can be enhanced by choosing proper parameters of CAi GV beams.  相似文献

采用几何光线模型, 将基模高聚焦高斯光束对微米量级介电球和左手性材料球的轴向作用力进行了理论推导和数值模拟, 并对介电球和左手性小球的受力进行了比较. 对于介电球, 可以实现单光束陷阱捕陷介电球; 在右手性材料环境中的左手性材料小球, 受到的轴向作用力总是沿光传播的方向, 激光和左手性材料球的参数共同决定轴向力的最大值出现在光轴上的位置. 而在相对折射率较小时, 左手性材料小球的受力是介电球的百倍. 关键词: 基模高斯光束 几何光线模型 轴向作用力 左手性材料  相似文献

The model of a Gaussian beam in an amplifying medium is analyzed within the framework of the paraxial (quasi-optical) approximation. Upon violation of the obtained restrictions, the model leads to a physically inconsistent conclusion about an infinitely high radiation power after a passage of an ordinary Gaussian beam through a layer of the amplifying medium. The importance of a limitation on the transverse dimensions of the amplifying medium or of the introduction of intracavity angular selection is demonstrated. The fundamental mode in the form of a Gaussian beam appears in the model with a quadratic dependence of the gain on the transverse coordinates.  相似文献

The technique of optical tweezers has been improved a lot since its invention, which extends the application fields of optical tweezers. Besides the conventionally used Gaussian beams, different types of ring beams have also been used to form optical tweezers for different purposes. The two typical kinds of ring beams used in optical tweezers are the hollow Gaussian beam and Laguerre--Gaussian (LG) beam. Both theoretical computation and experiments have shown that the axial trapping force is improved for the ring beams compared with the Gaussian beam, and hence the trapping stability is improved, although the transverse trapping forces of ring beams are smaller than that of Gaussian beam. However, no systematic study on the trapping forces of ring beam has ever been discussed. In this article, we will investigate the axial and transverse trapping forces of different types of ring beams with different parameters systematically, by numerical computation in which the ray optics model is adopted. The spherical aberration caused by the refractive index mismatch between oil and water is also considered in the article. The trapping forces for different objectives that obey the sine condition and tangent condition are also compared with each other. The result of systematical calculation will be useful for the applications of optical tweezers formed by different types of ring beams.  相似文献

为了研究吸收双层球形微粒的横向光俘获,基于几何光学模型提出了双层带吸收球形微粒的光俘获模型,对TEM00模式高斯光束照射下外层有光吸收的双层电介质球形微粒受到的横向光俘获力进行了数值模拟,取得了光俘获力特性的一系列结果.结果显示,双层球形微粒的外层吸收系数对包括稳态俘获位置,峰值强度,稳态俘获的刚度等光俘获特性有很大影响.此外,内外径的比率对吸收双层球形微粒的光俘获特性也有调制性的影响.在一定条件下,带吸收的双层球形微粒可以被俘获在光轴上,也可能被俘获在中心在光轴上的圆环上. 关键词: 光俘获 几何光学模型 高斯光束 吸收双层球  相似文献

By investigating the cross-spectral density of partially coherent multi-rotating elliptical Gaussian beams(REGBs) that propagate through a focusing optical system, we obtain the radiation force on a Rayleigh particle.The radiation force distribution is studied under different beam indexes, coherence widths, and elliptical ratios of the partially coherent multi REGBs. The transverse and the longitudinal trapping ranges can increase at the focal plane by increasing the beam index or decreasing the coherence width. The range of the trapped particle radii increases as the elliptical ratio increases. Furthermore, we analyze the trapping stability.  相似文献

The motion of a spherical transparent nanoparticle under the influence of radiation forces in the field of a Gaussian laser beam is investigated based on solution of Langevin equation. Expressions governing transverse and longitudinal velocities of the nanoparticle under the action of gradient and scattering forces are derived and analyzed. 分析了两束相对传输的非傍轴高斯光束相干叠加形成的双光束势阱对瑞利粒子产生的辐射力,并作了数值计算,结果表明,与傍轴双光束势阱相比,非傍轴双光束势阱的辐射力有明显的不同,纵向辐射力和横向辐射力都增大,y方向平衡点数目由一个增加到多个,且势阱更深,横向辐射力变化趋势更陡,更有利于微粒的精确定位,与非傍轴单光束势阱相比,势阱更深,所产生的辐射力更大,因而更利于控制瑞利粒子。  相似文献

超声造影剂的定向输运在超声医学成像领域有着极为重要的意义,而声辐射力作用是实现该过程的关键,相比于高斯声束,准高斯声束是无源亥姆霍兹方程的精确解,可以使用标准波分解法简化计算。因此,本文研究了准高斯声束对超声造影剂的声辐射力作用。文章首先分析了准高斯声束与高斯声束之间的相关性;随后通过数值计算求得了准高斯声束对超声造影剂模型的声辐射力函数与无量纲频率之间的关系;最后,本文研究了不同造影剂气泡情况下的声辐射力。研究结果表明:声辐射力函数随无量纲频率变化将在不同位置出现共振峰,不同的波束宽度值将改变辐射力强度,但不改变共振峰的位置。相关结果可为利用声辐射力定向输运超声造影剂至靶向位置提供理论参考。  相似文献

 使用聚焦部分相干高斯谢尔涡旋光束,对不同折射率的瑞利粒子的辐射力做了分析,着重研究了相关长度和束腰宽度对辐射力和俘获稳定性的影响。结果表明:相关长度和束腰宽度分别存在临界值,相干长度小于等于其临界值或束腰宽度大于等于其临界值时,可利用其俘获相对折射率大于1的微粒;而在相关长度大于其临界值或束腰宽度小于其临界值时,可利用其俘获相对折射率小于1的微粒。对俘获稳定性的分析表明,需选择适当的相关长度和束腰宽度才能稳定俘获瑞利粒子。  相似文献

基于电磁模型,数值计算了瑞利粒子在贝塞尔光束中所受横向光阱力,给出了粒子所受横向力与粒子的半径、折射率和波长的关系。结果表明,与高斯光束形成的光阱相比,贝塞尔光束既能捕获高折射率粒子也能捕获低折射率粒子,并且有多个平衡位置,因此应用更为广泛。  相似文献

The spatio-temporal spectrum of optical radiation reflected from a nonlinear dielectric medium with nonresonant dispersion is obtained as a function of the parameters of the spatio-temporal spectrum of a paraxial light beam incident on the boundary of the medium at small angles. Nonlinear reflection of various types of femtosecond spectral supercontinua from the interface between air and fused silica is simulated. It is shown that the time duration and the transverse dimensions of a beam of multiple-frequency radiation generated during the reflection of a superposition of high-intensity fields of two few-cycle pulses with different central wavelengths may be smaller than those of incident ultrashort pulses.  相似文献

This paper presents an investigation of self-focusing of Gaussian laser beam in collisionless plasma and its effect on stimulated Raman scattering process. The pump beam interacts with a pre-excited electron plasma wave thereby generating a back-scattered wave. On account of Gaussian intensity distribution of laser beam, the time independent component of the ponderomotive force along a direction perpendicular to the beam propagation becomes finite, which modifies the background plasma density profile in a direction transverse to pump beam axis. This modification in density affects the incident laser beam, electron plasma wave and back-scattered beam. We have set up the non-linear differential equations for the beam width parameters of the main beam, electron plasma wave, back-scattered wave and SRS-reflectivity by taking full non-linear part of the dielectric constant of collisionless plasma with the help of moment theory approach. It is observed from the analysis that focusing of waves greatly enhances the SRS reflectivity.  相似文献

The propagation of a non-monochromatic (polychromatic) TEM00 Gaussian beam in vacuum, its passage through a thin plate and its transformation by a thin lens are studied in the case of a non-dispersive laser resonator. The basic assumptions of the model are as follows: optical fields are stationary and plane-polarized, the paraxial wave equation is valid, an equivalent non-dispersive hemiconfocal resonator represents the lasing medium and its stable resonator, the laser emits in a single mode. It is also assumed that the plate and the lens have large transverse dimensions. Mathematical expressions, for beam radius, divergence, radius of curvature and beam parameter product, are obtained. A beam quality factor for polychromatic Gaussian beams is defined and its value calculated in each case of interest. It is proposed to simulate a dispersive laser resonator by a non-dispersive resonator complemented with a plate and/or a thin lens.  相似文献

Based on the plane wave analysis and the superposition of the plane waves, the diffraction of a Gaussian beam by a periodic screen with a dielectric plate is analyzed. The reflection power coefficient for different parameters of the beam and the screen is given. When the beam waist size is increased the results reaches that of the plane wave. It has been found that the power reflection coefficient is not sensitive to the beam waist size, however, it is sensitive to the period of the grating and polarization angle.  相似文献

The problem on the interaction of an Ohmic plasma channel displaced in the transverse direction with a paraxial azimuthally symmetric relativistic electron beam propagating in a dense gas-plasma medium is considered. The formula for determining the force of the beam-plasma interaction is derived using the “hard” model of the beam and the channel in the case of an arbitrary displacement of the symmetry axis of the plasma channel relative to the corresponding axis of the beam. 通过求解全波矢布洛赫方程研究了两能级原子与飞秒超快激光脉冲的相互作用过程,计算了不同拉比频率取值下原子所受光学偶极力和粒子数布居随时间的演化情况,分析了光场失谐量对光学势分布情况的影响.研究发现:由飞秒激光场产生的横向光力的时间平均值并不等于零,而是随着拉比频率的增加呈现振荡的增大趋势;纵向光力的时间平均作用也并非是拉比频率的单调函数,而是随着拉比频率的增加呈现周期性的振荡分布特性;光学势的分布对光场的失谐量具有明显的依赖性,随着失谐量的变化,光学势的性质也随之发生了改变.  相似文献
