In the crystal structures of the title compounds, C11H9FN2O, (I), and C13H12FNO4, (II), the molecules are joined pairwise via different hydrogen bonds and the constituent pairs are crosslinked by weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds. The basic structural motif in (I), which is partially disordered, comprises pairs of molecules arranged in an antiparallel fashion which enables C—H...N[triple‐bond]C interactions. The pairs of molecules are crosslinked by two weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds. The constituent pair in (II) is formed by intramolecular bifurcated C—H...O/O′ and combined inter‐ and intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds. In both structures, F atoms form weak C—F...H—C interactions with the H atoms of the two neighbouring methyl groups, the H...F separations being 2.59/2.80 and 2.63/2.71 Å in (I) and (II), respectively. The bond orders in the molecules, estimated using the natural bond orbitals (NBO) formalism, correlate with the changes in bond lengths. Deviations from the ideal molecular geometry are explained by the concept of non‐equivalent hybrid orbitals. The existence of possible conformers of (I) and (II) is analysed by molecular calculations at the B3LYP/6–31+G** level of theory.  相似文献

Isomeric 5‐bromo‐3‐nitrosalicylaldehyde phenylhydrazone and 3‐bromo‐5‐nitrosalicylaldehyde phenylhydrazone, C13H10BrN3O3, both crystallize with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. In both isomers, an intramolecular O—H...N hydrogen bond links the hydroxy group and the imine N atom. In the 5‐bromo‐3‐nitro isomer, there are two independent N—H...O hydrogen‐bonded chains, each molecule in the asymmetric unit forming its own chain. These chains are then linked to form a three‐dimensional framework by a combination of weak C—H...O, C—H...Br, C—H...π and π–π stacking interactions. In the 3‐bromo‐5‐nitro isomer, N—H...O hydrogen bonds link the independent molecules alternately into a zigzag chain, which is reinforced by a weak C—H...O interaction. Individual chains are linked by a C—H...Br interaction and a three‐dimensional framework is generated by π–π stacking interactions.  相似文献

As part of a homologous series of novel polyfluorinated bipyridyl (bpy) ligands, the title compound, C16H14F6N2O2, contains the smallest fluorinated group, viz. CF3. The molecule resides on a crystallographic inversion centre at the mid‐point of the pyridine Cipso—Cipso bond. Therefore, the bpy skeleton lies in an anti conformation to avoid repulsion between the two pyridyl N atoms. Weak intramolecular C—H...N and C—H...O interactions are observed, similar to those in related polyfluorinated bpy–metal complexes. A π–π interaction is observed between the bpy rings of adjacent molecules and this is probably a primary driving force in crystallization. Weak intermolecular C—H...N hydrogen bonding is present between one of the CF3CH2– methylene H atoms and a pyridyl N atom related by translation along the [010] direction, in addition to weak benzyl‐type C—H...F interactions to atoms of the terminal CF3 group. It is of note that the O—CH2CF3 bond is almost perpendicular to the bpy plane.  相似文献

The title compound, C17H13NO4, crystallizes in two polymorphic forms, each with two molecules in the asymmetric unit and in the monoclinic space group P21/c. All of the molecules have intramolecular hydrogen bonds involving the amide group. The amide N atoms act as donors to the carbonyl group of the pyrone and also to the methoxy group of the benzene ring. The carbonyl O atom of the amide group acts as an acceptor of the β and β′ C atoms belonging to the aromatic rings. These intramolecular hydrogen bonds have a profound effect on the molecular conformation. In one polymorph, the molecules in the asymmetric unit are linked to form dimers by weak C—H...O interactions. In the other, the molecules in the asymmetric unit are linked by a single weak C—H...O hydrogen bond. Two of these units are linked to form centrosymmetric tetramers by a second weak C—H...O interaction. Further interactions of this type link the molecules into chains, so forming a three‐dimensional network. These interactions in both polymorphs are supplemented by π–π interactions between the chromone rings and between the chromone and methoxyphenyl rings.  相似文献

The title compound, C10H11BrO4, a useful precursor to pharmaceutically active isocoumarin and isochroman derivatives, crystallizes with two unique molecules in the asymmetric unit. A π–π stacking interaction links the planar molecules in the asymmetric unit. Additional π–π contacts stack pairs of molecules along the c axis. A feature of the crystal packing is the presence of a number of short Br...O contacts. A particularly unusual arrangement involves the formation of dimers, with pairs of Br...O contacts imposing a close Br...Br interaction and generating five‐membered rings within an eight‐membered ring formed by two Br...O contacts. Only two comparable arrangements have been reported previously. The Br...O contacts combine with weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds to form corrugated sheets of molecules approximately parallel to (001). These sheets are stacked along the c axis by π–π interactions to generate a three‐dimensional network.  相似文献

2,3,4,5,6‐Pentafluorophenol (pFp), unlike phenol, forms cocrystals with the weak heteroaromatic base phenazine (phz). Two types of cocrystals were prepared, (I) with a high content of pFp, 2,3,4,5,6‐pentafluorophenol–phenazine (5/1), 5C6HF5O·C12H8N2, and (II) with a 2:1 pFp–phz molar ratio, 2,3,4,5,6‐pentafluorophenol–phenazine (2/1), 2C6HF5O·C12H8N2. In both forms, homostacks are formed by the heterocyclic base and phenol molecules and no aryl–perfluoroaryl stacking interactions occur. The arrangement of the molecules in the crystal of (I) is determined by strong O—H...N and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, weak O—H...F, C—H...F and C—H...O interactions, π–π stacking interactions between the phz molecules and C—F...πF interactions within the pFp stacks. Among the specific interactions in (II) are a strong O—H...N hydrogen bond, weak C—H...F interactions and π–π stacking interactions between the phz molecules. In (I) and (II), the heterocyclic molecules are located around inversion centres and one of the symmetry‐independent pFp molecules in (I) is disordered about an inversion centre. Remarkably, similar structural fragments consisting of six pFp stacks can be identified in cocrystal (I) and in the known orthorhombic polymorph of pFp with Z′ = 3 [Gdaniec (2007). In the title compound, C10H7NO3·H2O, the zwitterionic organic molecules and the water molecules are connected by N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds to form ribbons, and π–π stacking interactions expand these ribbons into a three‐dimensional net. The energies of these hydrogen bonds adopt values typical for mildly weak interactions (3.33–7.75 kcal mol−1; 1 kcal mol−1 = 4.184 kJ mol−1). The total π–π stacking interactions between aromatic molecules can be classified as mildly strong (energies of 15.3 and 33.9 kcal mol−1), and they are made up of multiple constituent π–π interactions between six‐membered rings. The short intermolecular C—H...O contact between two zwitterionic molecules is nonbonding in character.  相似文献

The title compounds, C8H11NO, (I), and 2C8H12NO+·C4H4O42−, (II), both crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c. In the crystal structure of (I), intermolecular O—H...N hydrogen bonds combine the molecules into polymeric chains extending along the c axis. The chains are linked by C—H...π interactions between the methylene H atoms and the pyridine rings into polymeric layers parallel to the ac plane. In the crystal structure of (II), the succinate anion lies on an inversion centre. Its carboxylate groups interact with the 2‐ethyl‐3‐hydroxy‐6‐methylpyridinium cations via intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds with the pyridine ring H atoms and O—H...O hydrogen bonds with the hydroxy H atoms to form polymeric chains, which extend along the [01] direction and comprise R44(18) hydrogen‐bonded ring motifs. These chains are linked to form a three‐dimensional network through nonclassical C—H...O hydrogen bonds between the pyridine ring H atoms and the hydroxy‐group O atoms of neighbouring cations. π–π interactions between the pyridine rings and C—H...π interactions between the methylene H atoms of the succinate anion and the pyridine rings are also present in this network.  相似文献

In the title compound, C16H14FN3O2, a diverse set of weak intermolecular C—H...π, π–π and C—H...O interactions link the molecules into sheets. The C—H...O interactions generate centrosymmetric rings with a graph‐set motif of R22(14) and chains with a C(8) motif.  相似文献

The title compound, C39H30O6·CDCl3, has a chemical threefold axis and an approximately planar structure, with an ethoxycarbonyl substituent on each of the terminal benzenes oriented in the same direction, thus forming a propeller‐shaped molecule. This molecule is of particular interest in the field of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), where its hydrolyzed analogue forms MOF structures with high surface areas. The benzene ring which occupies the centre of the molecule forms π–π interactions to the equivalent benzene ring at a perpendicular distance of 3.32 (1) Å. Centrosymmetric dimers formed in this way are interconnected by intermolecular C—H...π interactions with a rather short H...CgA distance of 2.51 Å (CgA is the centroid of the central benzene ring). The molecules are arranged in regular parallel sheets. Within a sheet, molecules are interconnected via C—H...O interactions where all carbonyl O atoms participate in weak hydrogen bonds as hydrogen‐bond acceptors. Neighbouring sheets are connected through the above‐mentioned π–π and C—H...π interactions.  相似文献

In methyl 4‐(4‐chloroanilino)‐3‐nitrobenzoate, C14H11ClN2O4, (I), there is an intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond and the intramolecular distances provide evidence for electronic polarization of the o‐quinonoid type. The molecules are linked into sheets built from N—H...O, C—H...O and C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds, together with an aromatic π–π stacking interaction. The molecules of methyl 1‐benzyl‐2‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐1H‐benzimidazole‐5‐carboxylate, C22H17ClN2O2, (II), are also linked into sheets, this time by a combination of C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds and aromatic π–π stacking interactions.  相似文献

The title compound, 2C14H13N2+·S2O82−·2H2O, is a protonated amine salt which is formed from two rather uncommon ionic species, namely a peroxodisulfate (pds2−) anion, which lies across a crystallographic inversion centre, and a 2,9‐dimethyl‐1,10‐phenanthrolin‐1‐ium (Hdmph+) cation lying in a general position. Each pds2− anion binds to two water molecules through strong water–peroxo O—H...O interactions, giving rise to an unprecedented planar network of hydrogen‐bonded macrocycles which run parallel to (100). The atoms of the large R88(30) rings are provided by four water molecules bridging in fully extended form (...H—O—H...) and four pds2− anions alternately acting as long (...O—S—O—O—S—O...) and short (...O—S—O...) bridges. The Hdmph+ cations, in turn, bind to these units through hydrogen bonds involving their protonated N atoms. In addition, the crystal structure also contains π–π and aromatic–peroxo C—H...O interactions.  相似文献

The title compound, C17H11F5N4O, is described and compared with two closely related analogues in the literature. There are two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit, linked by N—H...O hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions into dimeric entities, presenting a noticeable noncrystallographic C2 symmetry. These dimers are in turn linked by a medium‐strength type‐I C—F...F—C interaction into elongated tetramers. Much weaker C—H...F contacts link the tetramers into broad two‐dimensional substructures parallel to (101).  相似文献

2,5‐Diethoxy‐1,4‐bis[(trimethylsilyl)ethynyl]benzene, C20H30O2Si2, (I), constitutes one of the first structurally characterized examples of a family of compounds, viz. the 2,5‐dialkoxy‐1,4‐bis[(trimethylsilyl)ethynyl]benzene derivatives, used in the preparation of oligo(phenyleneethynylene)s via Pd/Cu‐catalysed cross‐coupling. 2,5‐Diethoxy‐1,4‐diethynylbenzene, C14H14O2, (II), results from protodesilylation of (I). 1,4‐Diethynyl‐2,5‐bis(heptyloxy)benzene, C24H34O2, (III), is a long alkyloxy chain analogue of (II). The molecules of compounds (I)–(III) are located on sites with crystallographic inversion symmetry. The large substituents either in the alkynyl group or in the benzene ring have a marked effect on the packing and intermolecular interactions of adjacent molecules. All the compounds exhibit weak intermolecular interactions that are only slightly shorter than the sum of the van der Waals radii of the interacting atoms. Compound (I) displays C—H...π interactions between the methylene H atoms and the acetylenic C atom. Compound (II) shows π–π interactions between the acetylenic C atoms, complemented by C—H...π interactions between the methyl H atoms and the acetylenic C atoms. Unlike (I) or (II), compound (III) has weak nonclassical hydrogen‐bond‐type interactions between the acetylenic H atoms and the ether O atoms.  相似文献

The title compound, C48H20F19N4O3P, prepared by the nucleophilic attack of triethyl phosphite on one of the 4‐fluoro atoms of 5,10,15,20‐tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porphyrin, contains a single molecule in the asymmetric unit. The porphyrin unit is almost planar [largest non‐H atom deviation = 0.174 (6) Å], and has the planes of the neighbouring benzene rings oriented at angles ranging from 64.3 (2) to 89.6 (3)° relative to the porphyrin core. The P=O group is almost coplanar with the attached benzene ring, subtending an angle of 4.0 (3)°. Several weak supramolecular interactions, namely C—H...π, C—F...π, P=O...π, C—H...(O,F) and F...F contacts, contribute to the crystal packing.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title compound, C9H11NO·C9H9N5, contains one molecule of each component in the asymmetric unit. Approximately planar clusters of four molecules are formed by N—H...N and N—H...O hydrogen bonds, and further N—H...N hydrogen bonds link adjacent clusters to form pleated ribbons. π–π interactions are found between triazine and aldehyde benzene rings in different clusters, generating stacks along the monoclinic b axis. The intramolecular geometry of the two components is similar to that found in other crystal structures containing these molecules. Both molecules are approximately planar, except for methyl H atoms, with a small twist about the C—C bond linking the phenyl and triazine rings.  相似文献

The title compounds, C11H11BrO3, (I), and C11H11NO5, (II), respectively, are derivatives of 6‐hydroxy‐5,7,8‐trimethylchroman‐2‐one substituted at the 5‐position by a Br atom in (I) and by a nitro group in (II). The pyranone rings in both molecules adopt half‐chair conformations, and intramolecular O—H...Br [in (I)] and O—H...Onitro [in (II)] hydrogen bonds affect the dispositions of the hydroxy groups. Classical intermolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonds are found in both molecules but play quite dissimilar roles in the crystal structures. In (I), O—H...O hydrogen bonds form zigzag C(9) chains of molecules along the a axis. Because of the tetragonal symmetry, similar chains also form along b. In (II), however, similar contacts involving an O atom of the nitro group form inversion dimers and generate R22(12) rings. These also result in a close intermolecular O...O contact of 2.686 (4) Å. For (I), four additional C—H...O hydrogen bonds combine with π–π stacking interactions between the benzene rings to build an extensive three‐dimensional network with molecules stacked along the c axis. The packing in (II) is much simpler and centres on the inversion dimers formed through O—H...O contacts. These dimers are stacked through additional C—H...O hydrogen bonds, and further weak C—H...O interactions generate a three‐dimensional network of dimer stacks.  相似文献

Two polymorphs of the title compound [systematic name: 1‐(2,4‐dihydroxyphenyl)ethanone], C8H8O3, were investigated. The known structure [designated (I‐M); P21/c, Z = 4; previously investigated at room temperature by Robert, Moore, Eichhorn & Rillema (2007). Acta Cryst. E 63 , o4252] was redetermined at low temperature, and a new form [(I‐O); P212121, Z = 12] was discovered in the same sample. In both forms, the molecules are planar (apart from the methyl H atoms) and they contain intramolecular O—H...O=C hydrogen bonds. In polymorph (I‐M), molecules are linked into chains by a single intermolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond, and the chains are linked into sheets by two C—H...O hydrogen bonds. Three O—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules of polymorph (I‐O) into chains and neighbouring chains are connected by one C—H...O interaction to form an offset layer structure. Two weak methyl C—H...O interactions link the layers.  相似文献

The three title isomers, 4‐, (I), 3‐, (II), and 2‐fluoro‐N′‐(4‐pyridyl)benzamide, (III), all C12H9FN2O, crystallize in the P21/c space group (No. 14) with similar unit‐cell parameters and are isomorphous and isostructural at the primary hydrogen‐bonding level. An intramolecular C—H...O=C interaction is present in all three isomers [C...O = 2.8681 (17)–2.884 (2) Å and C—H...O117–118°], with an additional N—H...F [N...F = 2.7544 (15) Å] interaction in (III). Intermolecular amide–pyridine N—H...N hydrogen bonds link molecules into one‐dimensional zigzag chains [graph set C(6)] along the [010] direction as the primary hydrogen bond [N...N = 3.022 (2), 3.049 (2) and 3.0213 (17) Å]. These are augmented in (I) by C—H...π(arene) and cyclic C—F...π(arene) contacts about inversion centres, in (II) by C—F...F—C interactions [C...F = 3.037 (2) Å] and weaker C—H...π(arene)/C—H...F contacts, and in (III) by C—H...π(arene) and C=O...O=C interactions, linking the alternating chains into two‐dimensional sheets. Typical amide N—H...O=C hydrogen bonds [as C(4) chains] are not present [N...O = 3.438 (2) Å in (I), 3.562 (2) Å in (II) and 3.7854 (16) Å in (III)]; the C=O group is effectively shielded and only participates in weaker interactions/contacts. This series is unusual as the three isomers are isomorphous (having similar unit‐cell parameters, packing and alignment), but they differ in their interactions and contacts at the secondary level.  相似文献

Cocrystallization of 2,2′‐dithiodibenzoic acid with isonicotinohydrazide from methanol solution yields the 1:2 cocrystal 2,2′‐dithiodibenzoic acid–isonicotinohydrazide (1/2), C14H10O4S2·2C6H7N3O. The component molecules are linked by intermolecular O—H...N, N—H...O, N—H...N and C—H...O hydrogen bonds into layers running parallel to the (010) plane, and these layers are further linked into a three‐dimensional framework structure by means of weak aromatic π–π stacking interactions. As a potential cocrystallization agent, isonicotinohydrazide may be used for effective and versatile synthetic supramolecular strategies utilizing hydrogen bonding of specific molecular building blocks.  相似文献
