The title compound, C18H18Cl4N2O2, crystallizes as monoclinic and orthorhombic polymorphs from CHCl3–CH3OH solution. In both polymorphic forms, the molecule lies on a crystallographic centre of inversion (at the piperazine ring centroid) and exhibits an intramolecular O—H...N hydrogen bond. In the monoclinic polymorph (space group P21/c), the molecules are linked by intermolecular C—H...Cl hydrogen bonds into a ribbon sheet built from R88(34) rings. In the orthorhombic polymorph (space group Pbcn), the molecules are linked by intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds into a ribbon sheet of R66(34) rings. The sheets in the orthorhombic polymorph are crosslinked into a three‐dimensional framework by π–π stacking interactions.  相似文献

Crystals of hexa‐tert‐butyldisilane, C24H54Si2, undergo a reversible phase transition at 179 (2) K. The space group changes from Ibca (high temperature) to Pbca (low temperature), but the lattice constants a, b and c do not change significantly during the phase transition. The crystallographic twofold axis of the molecule in the high‐temperature phase is replaced by a noncrystallographic twofold axis in the low‐temperature phase. The angle between the two axes is 2.36 (4)°. The centre of the molecule undergoes a translation of 0.123 (1) Å during the phase transition, but the conformation angles of the molecule remain unchanged. Between the two tri‐tert‐butylsilyl subunits there are six short repulsive intramolecular C—H...H—C contacts, with H...H distances between 2.02 and 2.04 Å, resulting in a significant lengthening of the Si—Si and Si—C bonds. The Si—Si bond length is 2.6863 (5) Å and the Si—C bond lengths are between 1.9860 (14) and 1.9933 (14) Å. Torsion angles about the Si—Si and Si—C bonds deviate by approximately 15° from the values expected for staggered conformations due to intramolecular steric H...H repulsions. A new polymorph is reported for the crystal structure of 1,1,2,2‐tetra‐tert‐butyl‐1,2‐diphenyldisilane, C28H46Si2. It has two independent molecules with rather similar conformations. The Si—Si bond lengths are 2.4869 (8) and 2.4944 (8) Å. The C—Si—Si—C torsion angles deviate by between −3.4 (1) and −18.5 (1)° from the values expected for a staggered conformation. These deviations result from steric interactions. Four Si—C(t‐Bu) bonds are almost staggered, while the other four Si—C(t‐Bu) bonds are intermediate between a staggered and an eclipsed conformation. The latter Si—C(t‐Bu) bonds are about 0.019 (2) Å longer than the staggered Si—C(t‐Bu) bonds.  相似文献

Single crystals of a triclinic polymorphic form of mer‐μ‐oxalato‐bis[chloridotripyridinecobalt(II)] pyridine disolvate, [Co2(C2O4)Cl2(C5H5N)6]·2C5H5N, have been prepared by solvothermal methods. The structure and geometric parameters strongly resemble those of the previously reported monoclinic polymorph [Bolte (2006). Acta Cryst. E 62 , m597–m598]. In both polymorphic forms, the dinuclear complex molecules are located on a crystallographic centre of inversion, with the CoII cations in a distorted octahedral environment consisting of a chloride ligand, three pyridine ligands and a chelating bis‐bidentate oxalate ligand. This last serves as a bridging ligand between two CoII cations. The polymorphs differ in the mutual orientation of their pyridine ligands in the dinuclear molecules and in their intermolecular connectivity. In the triclinic polymorph, C—H...O, C—H...Cl, C—H...π and π–π interactions link the dinuclear molecules into a three‐dimensional structure. Pyridine solvent molecules are attached to this structure via weak interactions.  相似文献

Crystallization (from ethyl acetate solution) of 2‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐4‐methylchromenium perchlorate, C16H12ClO+·;ClO4, (I), yields two monoclinic polymorphs with the space groups P21/n [polymorph (Ia)] and P21/c [polymorph (Ib)]; in both cases, Z = 4. Cations and anions, disordered in polymorph (Ib), form ion pairs in both polymorphs as a result of Cl—O...π interactions. Related by a centre of symmetry, neighbouring ion pairs in polymorph (Ia) are linked viaπ–π interactions between cationic fragments, and the resulting dimers are linked through a network of C—H...O(perchlorate) interactions between adjacent cations and anions. The ion pairs in polymorph (Ib), arranged in pairs of columns along the a axis, are linked through a network of C—H...O(perchlorate), C—Cl...π, π–π and C—Cl...O(perchlorate) interactions. The aromatic skeletons in polymorph (Ia) are parallel in the cationic fragments involved in dimers, but nonparallel in adjacent ion pairs not constituting dimers. In polymorph (Ib), these skeletons are parallel in pairs of columns, but nonparallel in adjacent pairs of columns; this is visible as a herring‐bone pattern. Differences in the crystal structures of the polymorphs are most probably the cause of their different colours.  相似文献

This study characterizes a new polymorph of the title compound, [CuCl(C18H15P)3], and analyses the influence of the extensive network of weak hydrogen‐bonding interactions in the generation of this different crystal structure. The compound crystallizes in the centrosymmetric space group C2/c with two crystallographically independent molecules per asymmetric unit, in contrast with the previously determined polymorph which crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric space group P3 with three crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit, each with crystallographically imposed C3 symmetry [Gill, Mayerle, Welcker, Lewis, Ucko, Barton, Stowens & Lippard (1976). Inorg. Chem. 15 , 1155–1168]. The geometries of the two molecules of the title compound are very similar, with each having an approximately tetrahedral coordination around the central Cu atom and approximate Cs molecular symmetry. The molecules pack in chains parallel to the crystallographic b axis, connected by C—H...Cl and C—H...π(phenyl) hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The crystal structure of N‐[(1‐{2‐oxo‐2‐[2‐(pyrazin‐2‐ylcarbonyl)hydrazin‐1‐yl]ethyl}cyclohexyl)methyl]pyrazine‐2‐carboxamide monohydrate (Pyr‐Gpn‐NN‐NH‐Pyr·H2O), C19H23N7O3·H2O, reveals an unusual trans–gauche (tg) conformation for the gabapentin (Gpn) residue around the Cγ—Cβ1) and Cβ—Cα2) bonds. The molecular conformation is stabilized by intramolecular N—H...N hydrogen bonds and weak C—H...O interactions. The packing of the molecules in the crystal lattice shows a network of strong N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds together with weak C—H...O and π–π inteactions.  相似文献

The title compound, C31H32N2O7·0.25C4H8O2, is a key intermediate in the synthesis of [18F]fluorine‐labelled thymidine (18F‐FLT), which is the most widely used molecular imaging probe for positron emission tomography (PET). The crystallographic asymmetric unit contains two independent thymine molecules plus one partially occupied site for an ethyl acetate molecule. The two independent thymine molecules show similar geometrical features, except that the dimethoxytrityl groups adopt different orientations with respect to the remainder of the molecule. Each thymine base adopts an anti conformation with respect to the attached deoxyribose ring, and the deoxyribose rings show C3‐endo puckering. The conformation of the side chain at the C1 position of the deoxyribose ring is gauche+. Intermolecular N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into one‐dimensional chains.  相似文献

The lupane triterpenoid betulonic aldehyde [also known as betulonal; systematic name: lup‐20(29)‐en‐28‐al‐3‐one, C30H46O2] is a product of betulin oxidation. Crystals were obtained from hexane [form (I)] and dimethyl sulfoxide [form (II)] solutions. Forms (I) and (II) are both orthorhombic. The molecular geometric parameters in the two forms are similar, but the structures are different with respect to the crystal packing. Polymorph (I) contains two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit, while polymorph (II) contains only one molecule, which has a disordered aldehyde group [the disorder ratio is 0.769 (4):0.231 (4)]. In each molecule, the six‐membered rings have chair conformations, whereas the cyclopentane ring in each molecule adopts an envelope conformation. All the rings in the lupane nucleus are trans‐fused. The extended structures of both polymorphs are stabilized by weak intermolecular C—H...O and van der Waals interactions. Weak intramolecular C—H...O interactions are also observed.  相似文献

The title compound, C17H13NO4, crystallizes in two polymorphic forms, each with two molecules in the asymmetric unit and in the monoclinic space group P21/c. All of the molecules have intramolecular hydrogen bonds involving the amide group. The amide N atoms act as donors to the carbonyl group of the pyrone and also to the methoxy group of the benzene ring. The carbonyl O atom of the amide group acts as an acceptor of the β and β′ C atoms belonging to the aromatic rings. These intramolecular hydrogen bonds have a profound effect on the molecular conformation. In one polymorph, the molecules in the asymmetric unit are linked to form dimers by weak C—H...O interactions. In the other, the molecules in the asymmetric unit are linked by a single weak C—H...O hydrogen bond. Two of these units are linked to form centrosymmetric tetramers by a second weak C—H...O interaction. Further interactions of this type link the molecules into chains, so forming a three‐dimensional network. These interactions in both polymorphs are supplemented by π–π interactions between the chromone rings and between the chromone and methoxyphenyl rings.  相似文献

The structures of two distinct polymorphic forms of N‐(2,6‐difluorophenyl)formamide, C7H5F2NO, have been studied using single crystals obtained under different crystallizing conditions. The two forms crystallize in different space groups, viz. form (Ia) in the orthorhombic Pbca and form (Ib) in the monoclinic P21 space group. Each polymorph crystallizes with one complete molecule in the asymmetric unit and they have a similar molecular geometry, showing a trans conformation with the formamide group being out of the plane of the aromatic ring. The packing arrangements of the two polymorphs are quite different, with form (Ia) having molecules that are stacked in an alternating arrangement, linked into chains of N—H...O hydrogen bonds along the crystallographic a direction, while form (Ib) has its N—H...O hydrogen‐bonded molecules stacked in a linear fashion. A theoretical study of the two structures allows information to be gained regarding other contributing interactions, such as π–π and weak C—H...F, in their crystal structures.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C12H19NO)]I, the ferrocene moiety has an eclipsed conformation, with mean Fe—C bond lengths of 2.031 (4) and 2.020 (6) Å for the substituted and unsubstituted cyclopentadienyl rings. The pyrrolidinium heterocycle adopts an envelope conformation and has its 1‐ and 2‐substituents in a relative trans disposition. Strong (+/−)‐charge‐assisted N—H·I and C—H·I hydrogen bonds are present. The crystal structure is also stabilized by weak C—H·O interactions.  相似文献

The previous structure determination of the title compound, [Fe(C36H44N4)Cl], was of a monoclinic polymorph [Senge (2005). Acta Cryst. E 61 , m399–m400]. The crystal structure of a new triclinic polymorph has been determined based on single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction data collected at 100 K. The asymmetric unit contains one molecule of the high‐spin square‐pyramidal iron(III) porphyrinate. The structure exhibits distinct nonstatistical alternative positions for most atoms and was consequently modeled as a whole‐molecule disorder. The compound is characterized by an average Fe—N bond length of 2.065 (2) Å, an Fe—Cl bond length of 2.225 (4) Å, and the iron(III) cation displaced by 0.494 (4) Å from the plane of the 24‐atom porphyrinate core, essentially the same as in the previously determined polymorph. Common features of the porphyrin plane–plane stacking involve two types of synthons, each of which can be further stabilized with additional H...Cl interactions to the axial chloride ligand, exhibiting concerted interactions of H atoms from the ethyl groups with the π‐cloud electron density of adjacent molecules; the shortest methylene H‐atom contacts are in the range 2.75–2.91 Å, resulting in plane–plane separations of 3.407 (4) and 3.416 (4) Å, and the shortest methyl H‐atom contacts are 2.56–2.95 Å, resulting in plane–plane separations of 4.900 (5) and 4.909 (5) Å in the monoclinic polymorph. The plane‐to‐plane stacking synthons in the triclinic polymorph are similar, but at greater distances; the shortest methylene H‐atom contacts are 2.86–2.94 Å, resulting in plane–plane separations of 3.45 (2) and 3.45 (3) Å, and the shortest methyl H‐atom contacts are 2.89–3.20 Å, resulting in plane–plane separations of 5.081 (13) and 5.134 (13) Å, consistent with the density of the triclinic polymorph being 1.5% lower, suggesting lesser packing efficiency and lower stability in the triclinic polymorph. The major molecular differences found in the polymorphs is in three different orientations of the ethyl‐group side chains on the periphery of the porphyrin core.  相似文献

In the three spiroacenaphthylene structures 5′′‐[(E)‐2,3‐dichlorobenzylidene]‐7′‐(2,3‐dichlorophenyl)‐1′′‐methyldispiro[acenaphthylene‐1,5′‐pyrrolo[1,2‐c][1,3]thiazole‐6′,3′′‐piperidine]‐2,4′′‐dione, C35H26Cl4N2O2S, (I), 5′′‐[(E)‐4‐fluorobenzylidene]‐7′‐(4‐fluorophenyl)‐1′′‐methyldispiro[acenaphthylene‐1,5′‐pyrrolo[1,2‐c][1,3]thiazole‐6′,3′′‐piperidine]‐2,4′′‐dione, C35H28F2N2O2S, (II), and 5′′‐[(E)‐4‐bromobenzylidene]‐7′‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐1′′‐methyldispiro[acenaphthylene‐1,5′‐pyrrolo[1,2‐c][1,3]thiazole‐6′,3′′‐piperidine]‐2,4′′‐dione, C35H28Br2N2O2S, (III), the substituted aryl groups are 2,3‐dichloro‐, 4‐fluoro‐ and 4‐bromophenyl, respectively. The six‐membered piperidine ring in all three structures adopts a half‐chair conformation, the thiazolidine ring adopts a slightly twisted envelope and the pyrrolidine ring an envelope conformation; in each case, the C atom linking the rings is the flap atom. In all three structures, weak intramolecular C—H...O interactions are present. The crystal packing is stabilized through a number of intermolecular C—H...O and C—H...X interactions, where X = Cl in (I) and F or S in (II), and C—H...O interactions are observed predominantly in (III). In all three structures, molecules are linked through centrosymmetric ring motifs, further tailored through a relay of C—H...X [Cl in (I), Br in (II) and O in (III)] interactions.  相似文献

Recrystallization of the title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C14H13N2O3)], from a mixture of n‐hexane and dichloromethane gave the new polymorph, denoted (I), which crystallizes in the same space group (P) as the previously reported structure, denoted (II). The Fe—C distances in (I) range from 2.015 (3) to 2.048 (2) Å and the average value of the C—C bond lengths in the two cyclopentadienyl (Cp) rings is 1.403 (13) Å. As indicated by the smallest C—Cg1—Cg2—C torsion angle of 1.4° (Cg1 and Cg2 are the centroids of the two Cp rings), the orientation of the Cp rings in (I) is more eclipsed than in the case of (II), for which the value was 15.3°. Despite the pronounced conformational similarity between (I) and (II), the formation of self‐complementary N—H...O hydrogen‐bonded dimers represents the only structural motif common to the two polymorphs. In the extended structure, molecules of (I) utilize C—H...O hydrogen bonds and, unlike (II), an extensive set of intermolecular C—H...π interactions. Fingerprint plots based on Hirshfeld surfaces are used to compare the packing of the two polymorphs.  相似文献

The title compound, C15H16N2O, crystallizes in the space group P212121 with Z′ = 1. The seven‐membered ring adopts a chair‐type conformation with the hydroxy and pyridyl substituents in equatorial sites. Molecules are linked into a three‐dimensional framework structure by a combination of O—H...N, C—H...O and C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds, but N—H...O and N—H...π(arene) interactions are absent from the structure. Comparisons are made with some related compounds.  相似文献

A second, monoclinic, polymorph of the title compound, C14H8Cl2, has been found. In addition to the structure of this monoclinic form, the structure of the previously described orthorhombic form [Desvergne, Chekpo & Bouas‐Laurent (1978). J. Chem. Soc. Perkin Trans. 2, pp. 84–87; Benites, Maverick & Fronczek (1996). Acta Cryst. C 52 , 647–648] has been redetermined at low temperature and using modern methods. The low‐temperature structure of the orthorhombic form is of significantly higher quality than the previously published structure and additional details can be derived. A comparison of the crystal packing of the two forms with a focus on weak intermolecular C—H...Cl interactions shows the monoclinic structure to have one such interaction linking the molecules into infinite ribbons, while two crystallographically independent C—H...Cl interactions give rise to an interesting infinite three‐dimensional network in the orthorhombic crystal form.  相似文献

As part of a homologous series of novel polyfluorinated bipyridyl (bpy) ligands, the title compound, C16H14F6N2O2, contains the smallest fluorinated group, viz. CF3. The molecule resides on a crystallographic inversion centre at the mid‐point of the pyridine Cipso—Cipso bond. Therefore, the bpy skeleton lies in an anti conformation to avoid repulsion between the two pyridyl N atoms. Weak intramolecular C—H...N and C—H...O interactions are observed, similar to those in related polyfluorinated bpy–metal complexes. A π–π interaction is observed between the bpy rings of adjacent molecules and this is probably a primary driving force in crystallization. Weak intermolecular C—H...N hydrogen bonding is present between one of the CF3CH2– methylene H atoms and a pyridyl N atom related by translation along the [010] direction, in addition to weak benzyl‐type C—H...F interactions to atoms of the terminal CF3 group. It is of note that the O—CH2CF3 bond is almost perpendicular to the bpy plane.  相似文献

The asymmetric unit of the racemic form of the title compound, C12H15NOS, contains four crystallographically independent molecules. The olefinic bond connecting the 2‐thienyl and 1‐azabicyclo[2.2.2]octan‐3‐ol moieties has Z geometry. Strong hydrogen bonding occurs in a directed co‐operative O—H...O—H...O—H...O—H R44(8) pattern that influences the conformation of the molecules. Co‐operative C—H...π interactions between thienyl rings are also present. The average dihedral angle between adjacent thienyl rings is 87.09 (4)°.  相似文献

Two polymorphs of (E,E)‐N,N′‐bis(4‐nitrobenzylidene)benzene‐1,4‐diamine, C20H14N4O4, (I), have been identified. In each case, the molecule lies across a crystallographic inversion centre. The supramolecular structure of the first polymorph, (I‐1), features stacking based on π–π interactions assisted by weak hydrogen bonds involving the nitro groups. The second polymorph, (I‐2), displays a perpendicular arrangement of molecules linked via the nitro groups, combined with weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds. Both crystal structures are compared with that of the carbon analogue (E,E)‐1,4‐bis[2‐(4‐nitrophenyl)ethenyl]benzene, (II).  相似文献

In the crystal structures of the two imidazole derivatives 5‐chloro‐1,2‐dimethyl‐4‐nitro‐1H‐imidazole, C5H6ClN3O2, (I), and 2‐chloro‐1‐methyl‐4‐nitro‐1H‐imidazole, C4H4ClN3O2, (II), C—Cl...O halogen bonds are the principal specific interactions responsible for the crystal packing. Two different halogen‐bond modes are observed: in (I), there is one very short and directional C—Cl...O contact [Cl...O = 2.899 (1) Å], while in (II), the C—Cl group approaches two different O atoms from two different molecules, and the contacts are longer [3.285 (2) and 3.498 (2) Å] and less directional. In (I), relatively short C—H...O hydrogen bonds provide the secondary interactions for building the crystal structure; in (II), the C—H...O contacts are longer but there is a relatively short π–π contact between molecules related by a centre of symmetry. The molecule of (I) is almost planar, the plane of the nitro group making a dihedral angle of 6.97 (7)° with the mean plane of the imidazole ring. The molecule of (II) has crystallographically imposed mirror symmetry and the nitro group lies in the mirror plane.  相似文献
