Oxidative coupling of a tetraalkylbipyrrole under FeIII-mediated coupling conditions in the presence of HCl results in a mixture of cyclo[6]- and cyclo[7]pyrroles, as well as the known cyclo[8]pyrrole. Cyclo[8]pyrrole, an octapyrrolic expanded porphyrin with no meso-linking atoms, was found to interact with a series of anions in the solid state and in a chloroform solution. The anion selectivities have been determined relative to a structurally characterised salt, H2cyclo[8]pyrrole2+·I·I3 ? , via counter anion exchange. Although cyclo[8]pyrrole demonstrates a general selectivity for sulfate, it interacts well with both the pertechnetate and perrhenate anions. Moreover, it has been shown to act as a phase-transfer catalyst facilitating the extraction of pertechnetate from an aqueous to an organic phase in the presence of sulfate.  相似文献

Aromatic ring-condensed TTF derivatives exhibited excellent p-type FET performances in thin films. Introduction of fused benzene and pyrazine rings to the TTF skeleton was effective to enhance the intermolecular interactions and stability to oxygen. Ordered molecular alignment was confirmed by XRD studies. A pi-stacking structure was observed in the single crystal of diquinoxalinoTTF.  相似文献

The on and off rates corresponding to the binding of two test anions (acetate, AcO(-), and dihydrogen phosphate, H(2)PO(4)(-), studied as their tetrabutylammonium salts) to diprotonated cyclo[8]pyrrole have been determined in CH(3)CN using stopped-flow analyses carried out at various temperatures. For dihydrogen phosphate, this afforded the activation enthalpies and entropies associated with both off and on processes. The different dynamic behavior seen for these test anions underscores the utility of kinetic analyses as a possible new tool for the advanced characterization of anion receptors.  相似文献

A new member of the cyclo[n]pyrrole class of expanded porphyrins could be prepared from the corresponding thiophene-containing terpyrrole precursor through use of a mild electrochemical oxidative procedure. A novel p-channel semiconductor pyreno[4,5-a]coronene has been synthesized and characterized. The highly fused π-conjugated framework has a twisted geometry with an excellent on-top cofacial π-π stacking in the crystal structure and with a centroid-to-centroid distance of 3.808 ?. Single-crystal field effect transistors based on the molecule exhibit a high mobility of ~0.89 cm(2) V(-1) s(-1) and an on/off ratio of ~6 × 10(4).  相似文献

Two conjugated polymers, IIDDT and IIDT, based on an isoindigo core were developed for organic field-effect transisitors. Investigation of their field-effect performance indicated that IIDDT exhibited air-stable mobility up to 0.79 cm(2) V(-1) s(-1), which is quite high among polymer FET materials. The facile preparation and high mobility of such polymers make isoindigo-based polymers very promising for application as solution-processable organic semiconductors for optoelectronic devices.  相似文献

A uranyl complex, the first metal complex to be formed from the cyclo[n]pyrrole series of expanded porphyrins, is formed when cyclo[6]pyrrole is treated with the uranyl cation under aerobic conditions. The characteristics of organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) were dramatically improved by chemically modifying the surface of the bottom-contact Ag or Cu source-drain (D-S) electrodes with a simple solution method. The contact resistance and energetic mismatch typically observed with Ag D-S electrodes in pentacene bottom-contact OFETs can be properly eliminated when modified by the Ag-TCNQ (TCNQ = 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane). The pentacene transistors with low-cost Ag-TCNQ-modified Ag bottom-contact electrodes exhibit outstanding electrical properties, which are comparable with that of the Au top-contact devices. It thus provides a novel way toward high-performance low-cost bottom-contact OFETs.  相似文献

Solution-processable, electronegative, π-conjugated systems containing dicyanomethylene-substituted cyclopenta[b]thiophene were synthesized as potential active materials for air-stable n-type organic field-effect transistors (OFETs). Electrochemical measurements revealed that these compounds exhibited electrochemical stability and that the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) had an energy level less than -4.0 eV. Flash-photolysis time-resolved microwave conductivity (FP-TRMC) measurements were performed, and the value of intradomain electron mobility was determined to be as high as 0.1 cm(2) V(-1) s(-1) . The OFETs were fabricated by spin-coating thin films of the compounds as an active layer. The electron mobility of the OFETs was 3.5×10(-3) cm(2) V(-1) s(-1) in vacuum. Furthermore, electron mobility of the same order of magnitude and stable characteristics were obtained under air-exposed conditions. X-ray diffraction measurements of the spin-coated thin films revealed the difference of molecular arrangements depending on the inner conjugated units. Atomic force microscopy measurements of crystalline-structured films exhibited the formation of grains. The accomplishment of air-stability was attributed to the combined effect of the low-lying LUMO energy level and the molecular arrangements in the solid state, avoiding both the quenching of electron carriers and the intrusion of oxygen and/or moisture.  相似文献

The multi-level microstructure of conjugated polymers is the most critical parameter determining the charge transport property in field-effect transistors (FETs). However, controlling the hierarchical microstructures and the structural evolution remains a significant challenge. In this perspective, we discuss the key aspects of multi-level microstructures of conjugated polymers towards high-performance FETs. We highlight the recent progress in the molecular structures, solution-state aggregation, and polymer crystal structures, representing the multi-level microstructures of conjugated polymers. By tuning polymer hierarchical microstructures, we attempt to provide several guidelines for developing high-performance polymer FETs and polymer electronics.

A theoretical study of the complexation of cyclo[8]pyrrole dication, 2, and the corresponding system in neutral form, 3, with six anionic molecules has been carried out up to the B3LYP/6–311++G(2d,2p) computational level. The effect of the water solvation has been taken into account by means of the PCM method. The gas phase results correspond to the very large interaction energies expected for the interaction of molecules of opposite charge. In all the complexes, the analysis of the electron density by means of the Atoms In Molecules (AIM) methodology shows the presence of eight intermolecular interactions between the individual molecules. The results, using the water solvent model, indicate that the 2:SO4 2− complex is more stable than the 2:NO3 , in agreement with experimental results.   相似文献

An ordered molecular assembly of heteroleptic bis(phthalocyaninato) rare earth complexes M(Pc)[Pc(OC8H17)8] [M = Tb, Lu; H2Pc = phthalocyanine; H2Pc(OC8H17)8 = 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24-octakis(octyloxy)phthalocyanine] has been fabricated by the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique and characterized by surface pressure-area isotherms, electronic absorption and polarized electronic absorption spectroscopy, low-angle X-ray diffraction, and atomic force microscopy. The molecular ordering in the LB multilayer film on SiO2 substrate was made into a p-channel field effect transistor (FET), which was generally operated in the enhanced mode. The energy levels of the highest occupied molecular orbital and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital as well as the energy band diagram can be deduced from the electrochemical measurement results. The charge mobilities of Tb(Pc)[Pc(OC8H17)8] and Lu(Pc)[Pc(OC8H17)8] were calculated to be about 6.4 x 10(-4) and 1.7 x 10(-3) cm2 V(-1) s(-1), respectively.  相似文献
