Some five- and six-coordinated di and tri-n-butyl tin(IV) semi- and thio-semi carbazates have been synthesized. The characterization of these complexes, by IR, NMR (1H, 13C, 119Sn), 119Sn), 119Sn Mössbauer and Mass spectroscopies along with X-ray diffraction, reveals that complexes of biionic ligands of the type Bu2Sn L″ are five-coordinated having trigonal bipyramidal geometry. However, complexes of monoionic ligands of the type Bu2SnL′2 are six-coordinated in a distorted cis-octahedral geometry and Bu3SnL′ are five-coordinated with a trigonal bipyramidal structure. X-ray structural studies on the compound Bu2Sn(O.C6H4.CH:N.N.CS.NH2), show that it crystallizes in a monoclinic lattice with a = 16.90 Å, b = 9.71 Å, c = 8.60 Å, and β = 103°45′.  相似文献

Some five- and six-coordinated di- and tri-n-butyl tin(IV) complexes of the type Bu2SnL, Bu2SnL2 and Bu3SnL (where L is the anion of a monofunctional bidentate or bifunctional tridentate Schiff base) have been synthesized and characterised on the basis of microanalyses, molecular weight determinations, IR, NMR (1H, 13C, 119Sn) and 119Sn Mössbauer spectroscopy. These complexes are highly active towards bacteria.  相似文献

A series of organotin(IV) complexes with 2‐mercapto‐5‐methyl‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole (HL) of the type R3 Sn(L) (R = Me 1 ; Bu 2 ; Ph 3 ; PhCH2 4 ) and R2Sn(L)2 (R = CH3 5 ; Ph 6 ; PhCH2 7 ; Bu 8 ) have been synthesized. All complexes 1–8 were characterized by elemental analysis, IR,1H, 13 C, and 119Sn NMR spectra. Among these, complexes 1 , 3 , 4 , and 7 were also determined by X‐ray crystallography. The tin atoms of complexes 1 , 3 , and 4 are all penta‐coordinated and the geometries at tin atoms of complexes 3 and 4 are distorted trigonal–bipyramidal. Interestingly, complex 1 has formed a 1D polymeric chain through Sn and N intermolecular interactions. The tin atom of complex 7 is hexa‐coordinated and its geometry is distorted octahedral. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Ten di-n-butyltin(I∇) carboxylates [(nBu2Sn-OCOR′)2O]2 and nBu2Sn(OCOR′)2 (R′ = CCl3, CHCl2, CH2Cl, PhCH = CH, and 2,2,3,3-tetramethylcyclopropyl) were synthesized and characterized by IR, 1H, 13C, 119Sn NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Together with other series of organotin(I∇) carboxylates, their structural features were discussed. The relationship between the 119Sn NMR chemical shifts in the organotin(I∇) carboxylates [(nBu2SnOCOR′)2O]2, nBu2Sn(OCOR′)2, nBu3SnOCOR′, Ph3SnOCOR′ and the pKa values of their parent acids R′COOH was studied. The results have shown that the log[-δ(119Sn)] of the same series of carboxylates is linearly related to the pKa of R′COOH. It seems that the better is the linearity between the log[−δ(119Sn)] and the pKa, the more analogous are the structures of the same series of carboxylates. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Organotin(IV) complexes with the general formulae R3ML [R: alkyl (Et, Ph and Bz), M: Sn and L: 1,3-bis(2- hydroxybenzylidene)thiourea were synthesized. The newly synthesized schiff base and its complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, melting point, molecular weight determination, IR and NMR [1H, 13C and 119Sn] spectral methods. In the light of these techniques, a tetrahedral geometry around the tin atom is proposed for the synthesized complexes. The experimental data have been compared with those in the literature which were found to coincide very well with the assigned structures. The ligands and their tin(IV) complexes were screened in vitro for their antibacterial activities. It was found that they possessed significant antibacterial activity and the effect of Ph3SnL was possibly superior to those of Et3SnL, Bz3SnL and ligand. These findings add new insights onto the synthesis of antibacterial drugs as the synthesized compounds showed promising antimicrobial activity.  相似文献

Four new organotin (IV) complexes with general formula R3SnL/R2SnL2, where R = CH3, n-C4H9, C6H5 and L = Levofloxacin, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR and NMR (1H and 13C) spectroscopy. Spectroscopic data suggested a six-coordinated geometry for diorganotin(IV) derivatives and a five-coordinated geometry for triorganotin(IV) derivatives. The value of Me–Sn–Me bond angle for di- and trimethyltin complexes using the Lockhart equation, were 150° and 116°, respectively, that corresponded to six and five-coordinate geometry, accordingly. The ligand and its complexes were screened for their antibacterial, antifungal, cytotoxic, and free radical scavenging (DPPH) antioxidant activities. The biological data indicated those as potentially bioactive in each field of the study. Accumulated data of DNA interaction with the synthesized complexes based on UV-Vis, cyclic voltammetry and viscometry suggested an intercalative mode of the interaction.  相似文献

The diorganotin(IV) complexes of methyl 2‐{4‐hydroxy‐3‐[(2‐hydroxy‐phenylimino)‐methyl]‐phenylazo}‐benzoate (H2L) were obtained by the reaction of ortho‐aminophenol, R2SnO (R = Me, nBu, or Ph) and methyl 2‐[(E)‐(3‐formyl‐4‐hydroxy)diazenyl]benzoate (H2PL2) in ethanol, which led to diorganotin(IV) compounds of composition [Me2SnL]2 ( 1 ), nBu2SnL ( 2 ), and Ph2SnL ( 3 ) in good yield. The 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR, IR, the mass spectrometry along with elemental analyses allowed establishing the structure of ligand (H2L) and compounds 1–3 . In all the three cases, 119Sn chemical shifts are indicators of five‐coordinated Sn atoms in a solution state. The crystal structures of ligand H2L and complexes 1 and 2 were determined by a single crystal X‐ray diffraction study. In the solid state, the ligand H2L exists as a keto‐enamine tautomeric form. The molecular structure of complex 1 in the solid state shows a distorted octahedral geometry around a tin atom due to additional coordination with an oxygen atom from a neighboring molecule leading to a four‐membered ring with Sn‐O···Sn‐O intermolecular coordination, leading to a dimeric species. On the other hand, complex 2 is a monomer with trigonal bipyramidal geometry surrounding the tin atom. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Reactions of R1SnCl3 (R1=CMe2CH2C(O)Me) with (SiMe3)2Se yield a series of organo‐functionalized tin selenide clusters, [(SnR1)2SeCl4] ( 1 ), [(SnR1)2Se2Cl2] ( 2 ), [(SnR1)3Se4Cl] ( 3 ), and [(SnR1)4Se6] ( 4 ), depending on the solvent and ratio of the reactants used. NMR experiments clearly suggest a stepwise formation of 1 through 4 by subsequent condensation steps with the concomitant release of Me3SiCl. Furthermore, addition of hydrazines to the keto‐functionalized clusters leads to the formation of hydrazone derivatives, [(Sn2(μ‐R3)(μ‐Se)Cl4] ( 5 , R3=[CMe2CH2CMe(NH)]2), [(SnR2)3Se4Cl] ( 6 , R2=CMe2CH2C(NNH2)Me), [(SnR4)3Se4][SnCl3] ( 7 , R4=CMe2CH2C(NNHPh)Me), [(SnR2)4Se6] ( 8 ), and [(SnR4)4Se6] ( 9 ). Upon treatment of 4 with [Cu(PPh3)3Cl] and excess (SiMe3)2Se, the cluster fragments to form [(R1Sn)2Se2(CuPPh3)2Se2] ( 10 ), the first discrete Sn/Se/Cu cluster compound reported in the literature. The derivatization reactions indicate fundamental differences between organotin sulfide and organotin selenide chemistry.  相似文献

A heteroscorpionate ligand, potassium hydrobis(benzoato)(salicylaldehyde)borate (KL), has been synthesized. This was converted into organotin complexes R2SnL2 and R3SnL complexes by mixing and stirring with a methanolic solution/suspension of organotin chloride. The ligand and its complexes were characterized by elemental analyses and spectral studies (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, ESI mass spectra and Thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA)). Antibacterial and antifungal studies of these compounds were evaluated by the disc diffusion method at variable concentration against three species of bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia and Bacillius subtillis) and two species of fungi (Asperjillius fiavus and Candida albicans). It was found that triorganotin derivatives (R3SnL) of the ligand were more effective as compared with diorganotin derivatives (R2SnL2). The organotin complexes of borates were tested for their algicidal activity on the cyanobacterial strains Aulosira fertilissma, Anabaena species, Anabaena variabilis and Nostoc muscorum and showed high to moderate toxicity towards the above species. The ligand and its complexes were also tested for its pH effect on soil in vitro for a duration of more than one month and it was found that they are able to kill pests without damaging the soil quality. New series of triorganotin(IV) complexes with 4′‐nitrobenzanilide semicarbazone (L1H) and 4′‐nitrobenzanilide thiosemicarbazone (L2H) of the type [R3Sn(L)] (R = ‐CH3, ‐C6H5 and n‐C4H9) were synthesized under microwave irradiation. All the complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, conductance measurements, molecular weight determinations and spectral data, viz., IR, UV–vis, 1H, 13C and 119Sn NMR. The central tin atoms of these complexes are all five‐coordinated with trigonal bipyramidal geometry. In order to assess their growth inhibitory potency semicarbazone, thiosemicarbazone and their triorganotin(IV) complexes were tested in vitro against some pathogenic fungi and bacteria. Also the ligands and their organotin(IV) complexes were studied to assess the effects of long‐term ingestion of these compounds on fertility, body and reproductive organ weights. The biochemical analyses were also performed on blood samples and reproductive organs of male rats. The findings have been presented in this paper. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Three mononuclear organotin(IV) complexes supported by Schiff bases have been synthesized. The complexes [(C6H5)2Sn(L)] ( 1 ), [(t‐Bu)2Sn(L)] ( 2 ) and [(t‐Bu)2Sn(L')] ( 3 ) (L, L' = deprotonated Schiff bases) were obtained in good yield by the reaction of Schiff bases H 2 L or H 2 L′ with corresponding diorganotin dichlorides respectively. All newly synthesized complexes were characterized by means of FT‐IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and multinuclear (1H, 13C and 119Sn) NMR spectroscopy. In addition, single crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses were employed to establish the solid state molecular structures of these complexes. The structures of 1 – 3 reveal that all complexes are mononuclear with a five‐coordinated tin(IV) centre in it. The absorption and emission properties of all complexes have been investigated. Moreover, cytotoxicity and fluorescence cell imaging studies of theses complexes have been performed.  相似文献

A series of tri‐ and di‐organotin(IV) derivatives of the types R3SnL, R2SnL2 and [(R2SnL)2O]2 have been synthesized by the reaction of tri‐ and di‐organotin(IV) chloride(s) with sodium cyclopropane carboxylate and sodium 3‐cyclohexylpropanoate. Based on spectroscopic evidence (IR and NMR), all the triorganotin carboxylates were found to be penta‐coordinated in the solid state (except the tricyclohexyltin derivative, which was found to be four‐coordinated) and four‐coordinated in the solution state. Attempted reaction of Me2SnCl2 with sodium cyclopropane carboxylate in 1:2 stoichiometry afforded a bis(dicarboxylato tetraorganodistannoxane) complex, {[Me2Sn(cyclo‐CH2)2CHCOO]2O}2. The X‐ray diffraction of this ‘dimethyltin(IV) complex’ shows that the compound possesses a tetranuclear aggregate with one bridging bidentate and other free organic ester type monodentate carboxylate groups in which each Sn atom has a five‐coordinated geometry. These complexes were also screened for their antifungal activities. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

New organotin(IV) carboxylates, [n-Bu2SnL2] (1), [Et2SnL2] (2), [Me2SnL2] (3), [n-Oct2SnL2] (4), [n-Bu3SnL] n (5), [Me3SnL] n (6), and [Ph3SnL] n (7), where L?=?3-(4-bromophenyl)-2-ethylacrylate, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, and multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, and 119Sn). Spectroscopic studies confirm coordination of L to the organotin moiety via COO group. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals bridging mode of coordination in 6. Packing diagram established a supramolecular cage-like structure for 6 due to Sn–O interactions (3.287?Å). Subsequent antimicrobial activities proved them to be active biologically.  相似文献

Triorganotin(IV) derivatives containing the anionic ligand bis(1‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐2‐ylthio)acetate [(S‐tim)2CHCO2] were synthesized from the reaction between R3SnCl acceptors (R = Me and Ph) and the sodium salt of the ligand. Mono‐nuclear complexes of the type [(S‐tim)2CHCO2]SnR3 were obtained, which were fully characterized by elemental analyses and FT‐IR in the solid state, and by NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectroscopy and electrospray ionization mass in solution. The toxic effects shown by these compounds on trout erythrocyte components showed that the toxicity of the organotin(IV) complexes depends on the nature and on the lipophilicity of the substituents on the metal centre. Mononuclear O,O-coordinated complexes K2(MLCl2) M = Zn(II), Cd(II) and dinuclear complexes (MZnLCl2R2)x along with dinuclear N,N-coordinated complexes (M′ZnH2LCl2R2)y (where M = Zn(II), Cd(II), Hg(II) and M′ = M and Sn(IV); R = Cl, CH3; x = 0, ?2; y = 0, +2) of N′-1-,N′-2-dihydroxy-N-1-,N-2-dipyridin-2-ylethanedimidamide (H2L) have been prepared. All complexes have been characterized by 1H NMR, IR, EI-mass spectroscopy and elemental microanalysis. These results are in agreement with our prediction for structures of mono and dinuclear complexes of H2L and L?2 with Zn(II) in the gas phase by theoretical studies.  相似文献

New organotin(IV) carboxylates, R2SnL2 (R=n-Bu: 1), R2Sn(Cl)L (R=n-Bu: 2), and R3SnL (R=Me: 3; n-Bu: 4; Ph: 5) have been synthesized by stirring 5-chloro-2-hydroxybenzoic acid HL with KOH and R2SnCl2 (R=n-Bu)/R3SnCl (R=Me, n-Bu, Ph) in methanol at room temperature. The complexes along with ligand have been characterized by FTIR, (1H, 13C) NMR, EI-MS, and single-crystal XRD crystallography. FTIR data indicated bidentate coordination of carboxylate. NMR data suggested six- or five-coordinate geometry of organotin(IV) carboxylates. Single-crystal XRD of 1 demonstrated skew-trapezoidal geometry around the tin center, with the basal plane occupied by four oxygens and the two butyl groups lying in distorted axial position. Complexes 1, 2, and 5 exhibited interaction with SS-DNA (salmon sperm) and suggests intercalating mode of binding. The complexes displayed significant antimicrobial activities against bacterial and fungal strains as compared to free ligand. The hemolytic activity of the complexes was lower compared to Triton-X 100 (positive control, 100% lysis) and higher than phosphate-buffered saline (negative control, 0% lysis). Complex 4 was the most potent inhibitor of bacterial/fungal growth.  相似文献

A new series of organotin(IV) complexes of aniline derivatives, R2SnL2 and R3SnL [where R = Me, n-Bu, n-Oct, and Ph], have been synthesized by the reaction of ligand acid with respective organotin halides in the presence of triethylamine as base or dioctyltin oxide using a Dean–Stark trap for the removal of water under reflux conditions. Experimental details for the preparation and characterization, including elemental analysis, IR, semi-empirical study, multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, and 119Sn spectra and EI mass spectral studies) of all reported complexes are provided. The IR data indicate that in both di- and triorganotin(IV) carboxylates, the ligand moiety ?COO acts as a bidentate group in the solid state. Multinuclear NMR data show that triorganotin complexes exhibits a four-coordinated geometry, while diorganotin(IV) complexes show a coordination number greater than four, probably five or six, in solution state.

The complexes of piperidine dithiocarbamate, 2-aminopyridine dithiocarbamate and organotin(IV) of the type R3Sn(L1), R2Sn(L1)2, R3Sn(L2), R2Sn(L2)2, [R=C6H5CH2 (benzyl), p-ClC6H4CH2 (p-chlorobenzyl), L 1=sodium piperidine dithiocarbamate and L 2=sodium 2-aminopyridine dithiocarbamate] have been synthesised and characterised by spectral studies (IR, UV, 1H NMR). Thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analytical (DTA) studies have beeen carried out for these complexes and from the TG curves, the order and apparent activation energy for the thermal decomposition reactions have been elucidated. The various thermal studies have been correlated with some structural aspects of the complexes concerned. From DTA curves, the heat of reaction has been calculated.  相似文献

Six novel organotin (IV) complexes, [(Me3Sn)2(H2O)2L] ( 1 ), [(R3Sn)2L]n (R = Me 2 , R = n‐Bu 3 ), [(Ph3Sn)2L] ( 4 ), [Me2SnL]n ( 5 ), [(Me2Sn)2L(μ3‐O)]n ( 6 ) have been designed and synthesized by the reactions of 4,4′‐oxybisbenzoic acid (H2L) and triorganotin (IV) chloride or oxide. All the complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, FT‐IR, NMR, ESI‐Mass, PXRD and X‐ray crystallography. The single crystal diffraction reveals that complexes 1 and 4 represent dinuclear tin monomers. Complexes 2 and 3 display 2D network structure and 2D corrugated framework respectively, which both contain tetranuclear 36‐membered macrocycles. Furthermore, 2D structures are linked into a 3D supramolecular structures through intermolecular C‐H ··· π interactions. Complex 5 shows 1D infinite helical chain and further constructs 3D ladder supramolecular architecture through additional Sn ··· O and C‐H ··· O intermolecular interactions. Complex 6 displays 1D infinite polymeric chain containing 28‐membered macrocyclic ring. Preliminarily in vitro cytostatic activity studies on cervical carcinoma cell lines (HeLa) and hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines (HepG‐2) by MTT assay for some complexes reveal that complexes 3 and 4 exhibit high cytostatic activity. Further, complexes 3 and 4 were selected to investigate interactions of bovine serum albumin (BSA) by fluorescence quenching spectra and synchronous fluorescence spectra, which indicates that the complexes could quench the intrinsic fluorescence of BSA in a static quenching process.  相似文献
