Various simplified representations of the motion of Galilean satellites are considered which are used in simulations of the near and distant satellites of Jupiter. For the near satellites it has been shown that of all simplified models the highest accuracy is attained with a model in which the motion of Galilean satellites is described by formulas of circular motion, and the accuracy is such that the model can well be used for preprocessing of observed data. The problem of short-period perturbations has been stated which arises in a high-accuracy simulation of the motion of distant satellites in view of the motion of fast circumjovial large satellites. It is shown that in a dense, not very hot, multiply charged plasma the satellite structures of resonance lines can become more intense than the resonance lines themselves. Experimental and theoretical investigations show that the conditions under which the satellite structures dominate in the emission spectrum of the plasma are quite easily realized experimentally and, furthermore, apparently they will be the most typical case in investigations of compressed plasma regions in inertial-confinement fusion experiments and in the study of plasma produced by high-contrast pico-and femtosecond laser pulses. Firstly we discuss briefly three different algebras named as nonrelativistic (NR) conformal: Schr?dinger, Galilean conformal, and infinite algebra of local NR conformal isometries. Further we shall consider in some detail Galilean conformal algebra (GCA) obtained in the limit c???? from relativistic conformal algebraO(d+1, 2) (d-number of space dimensions). Two different contraction limits providing GCA and some recently considered realizations will be briefly discussed. The Galilean and ‘dual’ invariant electrodynamics with magnetic charges is formulated. The definition of the main feature of relativistic electromagnetism is given. Consideration of different aspects of Galilean electromagnetism with magnetic charges is presented. It is shown in particular that the conclusion of Bacry & Kubar-Andre (1973) that the existence of the magnetic monopole is incompatible with Galilean invariance in general appears to be incorrect.  相似文献

A novel method to make Lagrangians Galilean invariant is developed. The method, based on null Lagrangians and their gauge functions, is used to demonstrate the Galilean invariance of the Lagrangian for Newton's law of inertia. A theory of lattice Boltzmann (LB) models for hydrodynamic simulation is developed upon a novel relation between entropy construction and roots of Hermite polynomials. A systematic procedure is described for constructing numerically stable and complete Galilean invariant LB models. Method and results of the beam polarization measurements are presented. The measurements were carried out at the proton polarized beam of Saturne-II accelerator as well as at the JINR (Dubna) synchrophasotron vector polarized deuteron beam. The analysis of the elastic (quasi-elastic) pp-scattering polarization is used as a method of the polarization measurements. The energy range of the measurement is 1.0≤T p ≤2.8 GeV for polarized proton and 1.66≤T d ≤7.3 GeV for polarized deuteron beams.  相似文献

A simple thermodynamic condition of the type of the first law is formulated. When combined with the Galilean principle of relativity, it leads to the classical structure of balance equations of continuum thermomechanics. We show that the superselection rule in the Galilean transformation, forbidding the superposition of states of different mass, in inconsistent with the nonrelativistic limit of the Lorentz transformation. We also point out that the extra Galilean phase is merely the residue of the "twin-paradox" effect, which does not vanish nonrelativistically. In general, there are phase effects due to proper time differences, and effects due to mass-energy equivalence, that do not vanish nonrelativistically but that are not handled adequately by the Galilean transformation.  相似文献
