Semiconductor CdTe nanowire arrays embedded in the nanochannels of the porous anodic alumina (PAA) template have been prepared
by using a potentiostatic electrochemical deposition method. The morphology and structure of the CdTe nanowire arrays have
been characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and high-resolution transmission electron
microscopy. It is found that the CdTe nanowires with diameters and lengths of about 60 nm are single-crystalline with cubic
phase structure, uniformly and continuously embedded in the nanochannels of the PAA template. X-ray energy-dispersion analysis
and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis indicate that stoichiometric CdTe was formed. The growth mechanism of the CdTe
nanowires is also discussed.

Co-Zn-P nanowire arrays have been synthesized by electroless deposition in an anodic alumina membrane (AAM). The images of Co-Zn-P nanowire arrays and single nanowires are obtained by both scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM), respectively. Selected area electron diffraction (SAED), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive spectra (EDS) are employed to study the morphology and chemical composition of the nanowires. The results indicate that Co-Zn-P nanowire arrays are amorphous in structure. The hysteresis loops characterized by a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) show that the easily magnetized direction of Co-Zn-P nanowire arrays is parallel to the nanowire arrays and that there exhibits clearly a magnetic anisotropy as a result of the shape anisotropy. 相似文献

Highly aligned Ag nanowires have been synthesized by dc electrodeposition within a hexagonal close-packed nanochannel anodic
aluminum oxide template. The pore diameter varies from 20 nm to 50 nm depending on the anodization voltage and temperature
for the two types of aqueous solutions, sulphuric and oxalic acids, respectively. The size and morphology of the Ag nanowire
arrays were measured by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The images indicate that the highly
aligned Ag nanowires grow in the uniform nanochannels of the anodic alumina template and that the size of the nanowires depends
on the size of the nanochannels. X-ray diffraction, selected area electron diffraction pattern and high-resolution transmission
electron microscopy images show that the Ag nanowires are single-crystal. The temperature coefficient of resistivity (temperature
range from 4.2 K to 300 K) of the Ag nanowire arrays decreases with decreasing diameter of the nanowires.

Pulsed electrodeposited technique is applied to fabricate ZnTe nanowire arrays with different diameters into the anodic alumina membrane in citric acid solution. The x-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy indicate that the high ordered, uniform and single-crystalline nanowires have been fabricated. The optical absorption spectra of the nanowire array show that the optical absorption band edge of the ZnTe nanowire array exhibit a blue shift compared with that of bulk ZnTe, and the nonlinear current-voltage characteristic is observed. 相似文献

Porous anodic alumina (PAA) templates with branch structure are fabricated by the two-step anodic oxidation processes, and then the Y-branched Cu nanowires are synthesized in the templates using an alternating current (AC) deposition method. We observe the morphology image of the samples by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and measure the transmission spectrum and the polarization spectrum of the samples by the spectrophotometer. The results show that PAA films with Y-branched Cu nanowires have better transmittance in the near infrared region. An extinction ratio of 15-18 dB and an insertion loss of 0.1-0.4 dB are obtained in this region. Therefore PAA with Y-branched Cu nanowires can be used as a near-infrared micropolarizer, and this kind of micropolarizer would have a promising future in the field of photoelectricity integration. 相似文献

Large-scale tapering junction Bi nanowire arrays have been synthesized by pulsed electrodeposition within a porous anodic alumina membrane (AAM). Bi metal–semiconductor and semiconductor–semiconductor junction nanowires with different diameters were fabricated easily by modulating only the pulse time using only an ordinary AAM template. The morphology and structure of the tapering junction Bi nanowire arrays and individual nanowires are characterized by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. 采用二步阳极氧化法在草酸溶液中制备了高度有序的多孔阳极氧化铝(Porous Anodic Alumina,PAA)薄膜。以多孔氧化铝薄膜为模板,采用真空电子束蒸发的方法在多孔氧化铝模板上制备出了高度有序的金属银纳米点阵列体系。扫描电镜(SEM)测试结果表明,所制备的金属银纳米点阵列与多孔阳极氧化铝膜的多孔阵列具有完全相同的有序结构,阵列中银纳米颗粒的形状接近球形,其直径大约为70nm,与氧化铝模板的孔径基本一致。研究了高度有序银纳米点阵列的形成过程。 相似文献

Uniform gold nanowires were synthesized by electrodepositing the gold under a very low ac frequency in the pores of an anodic
aluminum oxide (AAO) template. The surface of the Au/AAO composite is very even and appeared purplish red. Atomic force microscopy
observation indicates that the template membranes we obtained have hexagonally close-packed nanochannels. The gold nanowire
array is very orderly arranged after partially dissolving the aluminum oxide membrane. Gold nanowires were also characterized
by transmission electron microscopy and the phase structure of the Au/AAO composite was proved by X-ray diffraction.

Single-crystalline bismuth nanowire arrays with different diameters were fabricated within porous anodic alumina membranes with the same pore size using the pulsed electro-deposition technique. X-ray diffraction measurements show that the as-synthesized nanowires have a highly preferential orientation. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy analyses indicate that bismuth nanowire arrays are high filling, ordered and single-crystalline. Electrical resistance measurements show that the bismuth nanowires have a metal-semiconductor transition when the diameters decrease from 90 to 50 nm, and the resistance behaviors are explained on the basis of the quantum confinement effect and Matthiessen’s rule. 相似文献

Single-crystalline InSb nanowire arrays were prepared by pulsed electrochemical deposition into anodic alumina membranes, and subjected to characterization using X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscopy. A nonlinear I–V characteristic and a decreased resistance with temperature were observed in InSb nanowire arrays. Ordered Co-Pb nanowire arrays embedded in anodic alumina template were successfully fabricated by electrodeposition. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) observations revealed that the Co-Pb nanowires were polycrystalline with uniform diameters around 20 nm and lengths up to several micrometers. Magnetic measurements showed that the coercivity and remanence of the as-deposited Co-Pb nanowires decreased with the increase of the Pb content. After annealing the Co-Pb nanowires present higher coercivities (2.4-2.5 kOe) than that of pure Co nanowires (2.1 kOe) and the dependence of coercivity and remanence on the Pb content is inconspicuous. A phase separation of Co and Pb occurred after annealing. The familiar pinning model was employed to explain the above experimental results. 相似文献

β-FeOOH nanowire arrays with diameters of 50–200 nm have been fabricated by electrochemical deposition using two-step anodic porous alumina templates. The as-prepared nanowires are homogeneous and have large aspect ratios. The selected area electron diffraction photo performed on a single wire was used to confirm the amorphous crystal structure further. The magnetic properties of these nanowire arrays were firstly investigated by using a SQUID magnetometry. The ZFC and FC studies show that these nanowire arrays exhibit spin-freezing phenomena at low temperature. The temperature-dependent magnetization curves show that the Neel transition temperatures are much lower than that of bulk material. Moreover, hysteresis was found at 5 K and the coercivities up to about 1500 Oe. The size-dependent magnetic properties were also investigated. These abnormal magnetic behaviours can be interpreted in terms of the amorphous crystal structure and the low dimensionality of the nanowire arrays. 相似文献

Spinel CoFe2O4 nanowire arrays were synthesized in nanopores of anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) template using aqueous solution of cobalt and iron nitrates as precursor. The precursor was filled into the nanopores by vacuum impregnation. After heat treatment, it transformed to spinel CoFe2O4 nanowires. The structure, morphology and magnetic properties of the sample were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The results indicate that the nanowire arrays are compact. And the individual nanowires have a high aspect ratio, which are about 80 nm in diameter and 10 μm in length. The nanowires are polycrystalline spinel phase. Magnetic measurements indicate that the nanowire arrays are nearly magnetic isotropic. The reason is briefly discussed. Platinum (Pt) nanowire array electrode is obtained by dc electrodeposition of Pt into the pores of anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) template on Ti/Si substrate. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) examination shows all the nanowires have uniform diameter of about 30 nm. The brush shapes Pt nanowire array electrode can be seen clearly by field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM). Pt nanowire array electrode gives the X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of face-centered cubic (fcc) crystal structure. The electro-oxidation of methanol on this electrode is investigated at room temperature by cyclic voltammetry. The results demonstrated that the Pt nanowire array electrode will have good potential applications in portable power sources. 相似文献
