数学教育丛书是数学教育研究在时间轴上的投影,新中国成立以来出版的数学教育丛书可以划分为7个阶段:数学教学参考书的移植阶段、数学教学参考书的自我探索阶段、数学教学参考书的恢复与欧美革新教材的引进阶段、数学教学参考书的深化与教育理论图书的引进阶段、数学教学参考书向教育理论图书的转型与繁荣阶段、数学教育理论图书的多元化发展阶段、数学教育理论图书的新时代,这些阶段契合了当代中国数学教育研究的发展历程,能为今后的数学教育研究提供借鉴.

高中数学探究性教学的探讨

数学是一门抽象性和严谨性都较强的学科,这就决定了数学探究性学习与科学教育界倡导的探究性学习有很大的不同“数学探究”是波利亚“数学发现”和弗赖登塔尔的“再创造”教育思想的继承和发展,是现代建构主义认知理论的具体实践.本文打算在对已有理论进行梳理的基础上,尝试从新的角度,结合数学学科本身的特点以及高中数学新课改的理念来探讨与丰富数学探究性学习的理论,努力使得我们所倡导的数学探究性学习适合高中数学课堂学习的特点与规律,适应现代数学教育改革的趋势与要求,为数学探究性学习提供一定的理论支撑.

出版简讯

为了加强高等学校计算数学学科的学术交流,促进计算数学的理论研究与应用研究的开展,经国家科委批准,于一九七九年创办了《高等学校计算数学学报》。该学报刊登以下三个方面的文章:一、计算数学理论与方法的研究;二、计算数学上有价值的应用研究;三、国内外计算数学各分支发展的综合评述。除以上三方面

横观各向同性板的弹性理论和弹性改进理论及一种新的厚板理论

本文从横观各向同性体弹性力学位移形式的基本方程出发,考虑板面承受横向荷载,建立了横观各向同性板弯曲的弹性理论.并由此建立了一个在板的每边能满足三个边界条件的弹性改进理论和一种新的厚板理论.文中求得了周边简支多边形板的弹性改进理论解,数值结果与三维弹性理论精确解的结果非常接近.新的厚板理论和以往的中厚板理论的系统比较表明,我们提出的厚板理论最靠近弹性理论的结果.     

代数表示论简介与综述

代数表示论是本世纪七十年代初兴起的代数学的一个新的分支。它的基本内容是研究一个Ａｒｔｉｎ代数上的模范畴。由于各国代数学家的共同努力，这一理论于最近二十年代有了异常迅猛的发展并逐步趋于完善。本文介绍了代数表示论的理论基础；几乎可裂序列；箭图和赋值箭图的表示；Ｃｏｘｅｔｅｒ函子；ＡＲ－箭图的覆盖及代数的Ｇａｌｏｉｓ覆盖。并简单介绍了在代数表示论中普遍应用的工具：Ｔｉｌｔ理论，以及著名的Ｄｐｏｚｇ定理证     

Riemann Zeros and Random Matrix Theory

In the past dozen years random matrix theory has become a useful tool for conjecturing answers to old and important questions in number theory. It was through the Riemann zeta function that the connection with random matrix theory was first made in the 1970s, and although there has also been much recent work concerning other varieties of L-functions, this article will concentrate on the zeta function as the simplest example illustrating the role of random matrix theory.     

Topological groups and covering dimension

We consider a natural way of extending the Lebesgue covering dimension to various classes of infinite dimensional topological groups. The dimension function that we introduce extends Lebesgue covering dimension, has the hereditary property, and has a product theory that is more similar to the product theory for the finite dimensional case.     

Trumping and Power Majorization

Majorization is a basic concept in matrix theory that has found applications in numerous settings over the past century. Power majorization is a more specialized notion that has been studied in the theory of inequalities. On the other hand, the trumping relation has recently been considered in quantum information, specifically in entanglement theory. We explore the connections between trumping and power majorization. We prove an analogue of Rado’s theorem for power majorization and consider a number of examples.

Economic Equilibrium: Optimality and Price Decentralization

Mathematical economics has a long history and covers many interdisciplinary areas between mathematics and economics. At its center lies the theory of market equilibrium. The purpose of this expository article is to introduce mathematicians to price decentralization in general equilibrium theory. In particular, it concentrates on the role of positivity in the theory of convex economic analysis and the role of normal cones in the theory of non-convex economies.     

Triple and quadruple integral equations occurring in diffraction theory

A formal scheme has been set up to solve the triple and quadruple integral equations of certain type which occur in diffraction theory. The operational theory has been employed in the analysis and equations have been reduced to the solution of simultaneous Fredholm equations.     

Conformal field theory and elliptic cohomology

In this paper, we use conformal field theory to construct a generalized cohomology theory which has some properties of elliptic cohomology theory which was some properties of elliptic cohomology. A part of our presentation is a rigorous definition of conformal field theory following Segal's axioms, and some examples, such as lattice theories associated with a unimodular even lattice. We also include certain examples and formulate conjectures on modular forms and Monstrous Moonshine related to the present work.
