Investigations in the system Sb-Se-NaOH-H2O, hydrothermal conditions, yielded crystals of the compound Na3SbSe3·3Sb2O3·0,5Sb(OH)3. The structure of this compound (a=14.40 Å,c=5.568 Å; space group P 63-C 6 6 ;Z=2) was determined from 985 independent X-ray intensities — collected on an automaticWeissenberg type diffractometer — by thePatterson method and refined by the least squares method toR=8.3% (with -weighting 5.9%). The structure consists of SbO3 pyramids which are connected via common oxygen corners to tubes parallel [001]. These tubes and SbSe3 pyramids are combined by Na atoms to a framework. The Sb(OH)3 groups are statistically located within the channels of the tubes.

Summary Crystals of Co2(X 2O7)·2H2O,X=P/As were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Their crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction:a=6.334(1)/6.531(2),b=13.997(2)/14.206(4),c=7.637(1)/7.615(2)Å, =94.77(2)/94.74(2)°, space group P21/n,R=0.032/0.046,R w=0.028/0.034 for 2423/2042 reflections and 131/119 variables. Within the twoXO4 tetrahedra connected via a common corner to anX 2O7 group the average P-O bond lengths are approximately equal (1.540 and 1.543 Å), but As-O differs significantly (1.685 and 1.696 Å). A comparison with the isotypic Mn and Mg pyrophosphates shows a correlation between the ratio Me-O/X-O and the angle O-X-O.

Zusammenfassung Kristalle von Co2(X 2O7)·2H2O,X=P/As wurden unter Hydrothermalbedingungen synthetisiert. Ihre Kristallstrukturen wurden mittels Röntgenbeugung an Einkristallen bestimmt:a=6.334(1)/6.531(2),b=13.997(2)/14.206(4),c=7.637(1)/7.615(2) Å, =94.77(2)/97.74(2)°, Raumgruppe P21/n,R=0.032/0.046,R w=0.028/0.034 für 2423/2042 Reflexe und 131/119 Variable. In den beiden über eine gemeinsame Ecke zuX 2O7-Gruppen verknüpftenXO4-Tetraedern sind die mittleren P-O-Abstände ungefähr gleich (1.540 und 1.543 Å), hingegen differiert As-O signifikant (1.685 und 1.696 Å). Ein Vergleich mit den isotypen Mn- und Mg-Pyrophosphaten zeigt eine Korrelation zwischen dem Quotienten Me-O/X-O und dem WinkelX-O-X.

Summary The crystal structure of the hydrothermally synthesized compound Fe(SeO2OH) (SeO4) · H2O was determined by single crystal diffraction methods:a=8.355(2) Å,b=8.696(2) Å,c=9.255(2) Å, =93.72(1)°,V=670.95 Å3;Z=4, space group P21/c,R=0.029,R w=0.027 for 2430 independent reflections (sin /0.76 Å–1). Isolated FeO5(H2O)-octahedra share five corners with [SeO2OH] and [SeO4] groups to form sheets parallel to (100). These sheets are interconnected via hydrogen bonds only.

Summary The crystal structures of the new, hydrothermally synthesized, isotypic compounds Co3(SeO3)3·H2O and Ni3(SeO3)3·H2O were determined by direct and Fourier methods and refined toR w=0.023, 0.032 using single crystal X-ray data up to sin/=0.81 Å–1 [space group P ,a=8.102 (2), 7.986 (3) Å;b=8.219 (2), 8.133 (3) Å;c=8.572 (2), 8.422 (3) Å, =69.15 (1), 69.50 (1)°; =62.88 (1), 62.50 (1)°; =67.23 (1), 67.64 (1)°;Z=2]. The structures are built up from [Me 5(SeO3)6·2H2O]2– sheets containing three crystallographically different types of octahedrally coordinatedMe 2+ and trigonal pyramidal coordinated Se4+ atoms, respectively. These sheets are linked only by a fourth type ofMe 2+[6] atom. All coordination polyhedra deviate significantly from their ideal shapes, bond lengths within the extremly distortedMe(4)O6 polyhedra range from 1.983 (2) Å to 2.403 (2) Å in Co3(SeO3)3·H2O and from 1.987 (4) Å to 2.301 (3) Å in the Ni compound, O-Se-O bond angles were found between 92.8 (2)° and 104.9 (1)°. Hydrogen bond lengths are 2.802 (3)Å and 2.600 (4)Å in the Co compound, and 2.762 (6) Å and 2.561 (6) Å in Ni3(SeO3)3·H2O. The latter is one of the shortest known hydrogen bonds donated by a water molecule.

Die Strukturen werden von [Me 5(SeO3)6·2H2O]2– Schichten aufgebaut, die je drei kristallographisch unterschiedliche Arten von oktaedrisch koordiniertenMe 2+ und trigonal pyramidal koordinierten Se4+ Atomen enthalten. Diese Schichten sind nur durch eine vierte Art vonMe 2+[6] Atomen verknüpft. Alle Koordinationspolyeder weichen deutlich von ihren Idealformen ab, Bindungslängen in den extrem verzerrtenMe(4)O6 Polyedern variieren zwischen 1.983 (2) Å und 2.403 (2) Å in Co3(SeO3)3·H2O und zwischen 1.987 (4) Å und 2.301 (3) Å in der Ni-Verbindung, O-Se-O-Bindungswinkel liegen zwischen 92.8 (2)° und 104.9 (1)°. Wasserstoffbrückenlängen sind 2.802 (3) Å und 2.600 (4) Å in der Co-Verbindung, und 2.762 (6) Å und 2.561 (6) Å in Ni3(SeO3)3·H2O. Letztere ist eine der kürzesten bekannten Wasserstoffbrücken eines Wassermoleküls.

Electron energy distribution functions (EDF) in SiH4, SiH4–H2 radiofrequency discharges have been calculated by solving the time-dependent Boltzmann equation in the presence of a sinusoidal field. Particular emphasis is given to the modulation of EDF as a function of the applied frequency (·106/p 0 ·108 sec–1 torr–1) and of gas composition. The results show that at /p 0 = ·106 sec–1 torr–1 EDF follows in a quasistationary mode the variation of the field with the exception of a small range of electric field near to the zero crossing. Still, at the higher considered frequency (/p 0 =·108 sec–1 torr–1), we observe some modulation of EDF. The necessity of using a time-dependent approach is tested by comparing the present results with the corresponding ones obtained by using the effective field approximation (i.e., the approximation which solves instead of the time-dependent Boltzmann equation the corresponding stationary one at the effective values of the rf field). The two sets of results can differ by orders of magnitude in the tail of EDF, the differences decreasing with increasing molar fraction of H2 and increasing field frequency. The role of excited states (second-kind collisions) is studied by inserting in the Boltzmann equation given concentrations of vibrational and electronic states. The results show that second-kind collisions strongly affect EDF especially in pure silane. Finally a satisfactory agreement has been found between theoretical and experimental results concerning the modulation of electrons of given energy in pure silane discharges.  相似文献

The phase diagram of the system Ag4SSe-SnTe is studied by means of X-ray diffraction, differential thermal and metallographic analyses and measurements of the microhardness and the density of the material. This diagram is divided into two eutectic-type subdiagrams by the composition Ag4SSe·2SnTe. The unit-cell parameters of the intermediate phases 3Ag4SSe·SnTe (phase A) and -Ag4SSe·2SnTe (phase B) are determined as follows: for phase A: a=0.7851 nm, b=0.7196 nm, c=0.6296 nm, =101.32°, =85.90°, =111.36°; for phase B: a=0.3662 nm, b=0.3303 nm, c=0.3343 nm, =90.74°, =108.94°, =91.91°. The phase Ag4SSe·2SnTe melts congruently at 615°C and a polymorphic transition of the phase takes place at T - =110°C.This revised version was published online in November 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

Dense planar and tubular oxygen separation membranes of La0.6Ca0.4Fe0.75Co0.25O3– were investigated as reactors for the partial oxidation (POX) of methane to syngas. Their permeation properties were measured in an air/argon pO2 gradient as a function of temperature. At 900 °C, the oxygen flux through a 1.26-mm-thick membrane was 0.075 mol/cm2·s and through a 0.25-mm-thick tube, 0.24 mol/cm2·s.For the POX measurements, a catalyst was added to the membrane and methane was introduced on the argon side. This resulted in a gradual increase of the oxygen flux with increasing concentration of methane, reaching 2 mol/cm2·s at 900 °C with pure methane. For the planar reactor, the CO selectivity reached 99% and the CH4 conversion 75% at 918 °C with pure methane. For the tubular reactor, the CO selectivity and CH4 conversion were 83 and 99%, respectively, under the same conditions. The three copper(II)-arsenates were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions; their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods:Cu3(AsO4)2-III:a=5.046(2) Å,b=5.417(2) Å,c=6.354(2) Å, =70.61(2)°, =86.52(2)°, =68.43(2)°,Z=1, space group ,R=0.035 for 1674 reflections with sin / 0.90 Å–1.Na4Cu(AsO4)2:a=4.882(2) Å,b=5.870(2) Å,c=6.958(3) Å, =98.51(2)°, =90.76(2)°, =105.97(2)°,Z=1, space group ,R=0.028 for 2157 reflections with sin / 0.90 Å–1.KCu4(AsO4)3:a=12.234(5) Å,b=12.438(5) Å,c=7.307(3) Å, =118.17(2)°,Z=4, space group C2/c,R=0.029 for 1896 reflections with sin / 0.80 Å–1.Within these three compounds the Cu atoms are square planar [4], tetragonal pyramidal [4+1], and tetragonal bipyramidal [4+2] coordinated by O atoms; an exception is the Cu(2)[4+1] atom in Cu3(AsO4)2-III: the coordination polyhedron is a representative for the transition from a tetragonal pyramid towards a trigonal bipyramid. In KCu4(AsO4)3 the Cu(1)[4]O4 square and the As(1)O4 tetrahedron share a common O—O edge of 2.428(5) Å, resulting in distortions of both the CuO4 square and the AsO4 tetrahedron. It was shown by the methods of induced electron emission that a transfer of the electron density from C60 molecules to the eight-membered ring of sulfur is characteristic of C60·2S8. The value of the (+)-plasmon energy for C60·2S8 is approximately 1 eV less than that for pure C60. In a high vacuum, the C60·28 surface is depleted in sulfur.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. Additive telluromolybdates, MoO3·2TeO2 and MIIO·TeO2·MoO3 (MIITeMoO6; MII = Co, Mn, Zn), converted ethyl lactate selectively to pyruvate in a vaporphase fixedbed flow system at 250–300 °C. A synergy in activity was observed for binary TeO2–MoO3, and crystalline Te2MoO7 was suggested as the active species. The Rietveld analysis of powder XRD patterns of ternary CoTeMoO6 revealed the layer structure quite different from that of the reference Te2MoO7, but tellurium was again located adjacent to molybdenum linked through lattice oxygen.  相似文献

The compound, (NH4)[VO(O2)2(NH3)], thermally decomposes to ammonium metavanadate, which then decomposes to vanadium pentoxide. Using a heating rate of 5 deg·min–1, the first decomposition step occurs between 74° and 102°C. The transformation degree dependence of the activation energy (-E) is shown to follow a decreasing convex form, indicating that the first decomposition step is a complex reaction with a change in the limiting stage of the reaction. Infrared spectra indicated that the decomposition proceeds via the gradual reduction of the ratio of the (NH4)2O to V2O5 units from the original 11 ratio in ammonium metavanadate, which may be written as (NH4)2O·V2O5, to V2O5.The assistance of Professor A. The cationic copolymerization products of poly (acrylamide-co-trimethylammoniumethylmethacrylate chloride (PTMAC) having cationic monomer percentages of 8%, 25%, and 50% as well as the cationic homopolymer, were characterized with respect to their molecular dimensions. The light-scattering and viscometric measurements were carried out for molecular weights ranging from 200 000 to 12 800 000 g/mol in 1 M NaCl solution at 25°C. It was possible to establish a relationship between the molecular weight and the two parameters: intrinsic viscosity and radius of gyration, for all four polymers.Rheological investigations of the flow properties in 1 M NaCl solution were also carried out using the polymer with a cationic monomer of 50% (PTMAC 50). The solubility of CaSO3·1/2H2O(c) was studied under alkaline conditions (pH>8.2), in deaerated and deoxygenated Na2SO3 solutions ranging in concentration from 0.0002 to 0.4M and in CaCl2 solutions ranging in concentration from 0.0002 to 0.01M, for equilibration periods ranging from 1 to 7 days. Equilibrium was approached from both the over- and the under-saturation directions. In all cases, equilibrium was reached in <1 days. The aqueous Ca2+–SO 3 2– ion interactions can be satisfactorily modeled using either ion-association or ion-interaction aqueous thermodynamic models. In the ion-association model, the log K°=2.62±0.07 for Ca2++SO 3 2– CaSO 3 0 . In the Pitzer ion-interaction model, the binary parameters (0) and (1) for Ca2+–SO 4 2– were used, and the value of (2) was determined from the experimental data. As expected given the strong association constant, the value of (0) was quite small (about –134). We feel a combination of the two models is most useful. The logarithm of the thermodynamic equilibrium constant (K°) of the CaSO3·1/2H2O(c) solubility reaction (CaSO3·1/2H2O(c)Ca2++SO 3 2+ +0.5H2O) was found to be –6.64±0.07.  相似文献

Summary Computer based methods for the processing of chronoamperometric datavia convolutions are discussed. On the example of the quasi-reversible Fe3+/Fe2+ couple, their application for data acquisition and determination of the heterogeneous electrochemical parameters is demonstrated. The plot of Q/i vs. t/i is superior to that employingi/I 1, being less sensitive to distortions by charging currents once these have died away and by the effects of damping on the initially rapidly varying currents. Cyclic voltammetry is often combined with convolution or deconvolution, and digital simulation studies are also frequently performed to confirm the results.
Bestimmung kinetischer Parameter des Systems FeCl3/FeCl2 mittels einer neuen Verarbeitung chronoamperometrischer Daten
Zusammenfassung Computerunterstützte Verfahren zur Verarbeitung chronoamperometrischer Daten mittels Faltungsintegralen werden diskutiert. Am Beispiel des quasireversiblen Systems Fe3+/Fe2+ wird die Anwendung der neuen Methoden zur Datenerfassung und zur Bestimmung der heterogenen elektrochemischen Parameter gezeigt. Der Plot von Q/i gegen t/i ist dem voni/I 1 überlegen, da er durch Ladeströme und Dämpfung der ursprünglich stark variierenden Ströme weniger stark beeinflußt wird. Cyclische Voltammetrie wird häufig im Zusammenhang mit Konvolutions- und Dekonvolutionsmethoden angewandt; digitale Simulation zur Überprüfung der Ergebnisse wird ebenfalls oft eingesetzt.

o-Benzoquinones initiate radical polymerization of methacrylates under visible light irradiation in the presence of tertiary amines. Spectral sensitivity of the initiating system coincides with absorption bands of o-benzoquinone attributed to the S(*) (max 400 nm) and S(n*) (max 600 nm) transitions. The amine radicals (Am·) initiating polymerization are generated by the photoreduction of Q in the presence of AmH from the triplet radical pair 3(QH·, Am·). The yield of Am· depends on the difference between the volumes of substituents in the 3 and 6 positions of the quinoid ring and is maximal for symmetrically substituted o-benzoquinones. For a series of derivatives of symmetrical 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone, the rate of photopolymerization of ,-bis(methacryloyloxyethyleneoxycarbonyloxy)ethyleneoxyethylene (OCM-2) in the presence of N,N-dimethylaniline is determined by the free energy (G e) of electron transfer from the amine to photoexcited o-benzoquinone. The G e value includes the energies of oxidation of the amines and reduction of the o-quinones and the energy of the 00 transition of the triplet excited state of o-benzoquinones, which are equal to their redox potentials. The photopolymerization rate is maximal for G e 0.  相似文献

Sol-gel routes in the ternary system Al2O3-TiO5-ZrO2 were investigated to prepare Al2TiO5-ZrO2 mixed powders. The preparation of ZrTiO4 and Al2TiO5 was studied before going on with the ternary system. Zirconium titanate precursor gels were prepared from Ti(OPri)4 and Zr(OPrn)4 mixtures. The crystallization of ZrTiO4 develops at T<700°C. Al2TiO5 was prepared by different ways, using mixtures of Al(OBus)2(C6H9O3) with Ti(OPr i )4 (i), or with acetic acid addition (ii). Route (i) leads to a separate crystallization of TiO2 and -Al2O3, with subsequent formation of -Al2TiO5 at T1360°C. Although the pseudobrookite -Al2TiO5 is thermodynamically unstable below 1280°C, route (ii) leads to the crystallization of metastable -Al2TiO5 at T800°C. At increasing temperature, -Al2TiO5 decomposes into TiO2 and -Al2O3, then the two compounds react to form stable -Al2TiO5. For the ternary system, all the preparation routes which were studied lead to ZrTiO4 and -Al2O3 with subsequent reaction (at T1500°C) to give -Al2TiO5 and ZrO2.  相似文献

Mo2Cl4 Pic 4·CHCl3 (A) (Pic=4-methylpyridine) and Mo2Br4 Pic 4 (B) crystallize in the monoclinic space group.A inC2/c (No. 15) witha=15.175 (4),b=10.847 (2),c=19.946 (6) and =104.52 (2)°;D o=1.71 (2),D c =1.72 gcm–3 forZ=4.B inP2l/n (No. 14) witha=9.270 (3),b=16.614 (5),c=9.305 (3) and =91.96 (5)°;D o=2.03 (3),D c =2.05 gcm–3 forZ=2.Two halogens and 4-methylpyridines of the MoX 2 Pic 2 group are in the trans position. Mo–Mo bond lengths are 2.153 96) forA and 2.150 92) forB. Both molecules are situated on the inversion center resulting in the eclipsed configuration of the ligands around the molybdenum pair. The structure ofB has been refined to the conventionalR factors of 0.08 and 0.098. Disorder on the part of 4-methylpyridines and chloroform molecules stopped the refinement ofA at the endR value of 0.175.Mean Mo–X and Mo–N bonding distances are 2.40 (2), 2.25 (5) forA and 2.53 (3), 2.25 (1) forB.

The technique of small angle neutron scattering (SANS) has been used to study the conformation of polystyrene chains in dilute solution under a constant shear gradient. The experiments reveal a distinct anisotropy of the molecular dimensions with regard to the directions parallel and perpendicular to the flow direction on the 2D-multidetector. The deformation ratio of the single polymer chain (R 2/R iso 2 )–1 as a function of the reduced shear gradient=([] · · M w G)/RT shows a transition from the ideal 2-behaviour for dynamic infinitely flexible coils found at small gradients, to a behaviour with smaller increase at larger. These results are qualitatively consistent with the theory of Cerf for a polymer with finite internal viscosity in a shear gradient. At low(<1), a better agreement with the model of a free-draining coil (Rouse behaviour) than with the Zimm model is observed.  相似文献

The sound velocities of aqueous NaCl, Na2SO4, MgCl2, and MgSO4 solutions were measured from 25 to 95°C in 10o intervals from dilute to saturated solutions. The results were combined with our earlier data and fitted to functions of molality and temperature to within ±0.4 m-sec–1. The adiabatic compressibilities S were calculated from sound speeds and used to calculate the adiabatic apparent molal compressibilities . Isothermal compressibilities and isothermal apparent molal compressibilities were calculated from S using literature values for the expansibilities and heat capacities. The values of were extrapolated to infinite dilution using the Debye-Huckel limiting law to determine partial molal compressibilities. The apparent molal compressibilities were fitted to Pitzer's equations. The Pitzer parameters for the concentration dependence of were determined as a function of temperature. Correlations of and V at various temperatures were found for the electrolytes.  相似文献

The densities of mixtures of aqueous solutions of hydrochloric acid with solutions of cadmium chloride, copper chloride, manganese chloride, and zinc chloride have been measured at constant ionic strengths of 1.0 and 3.0 mol-kg–1 at 25°C. The density data were used to determine the volumes of mixing (V m ). The volume of mixing equations of Pitzer were then fit to the resulting V m data to obtain the Pitzer parameters V MN and V MNX , which are the pressure derivatives of the free energy equation parameters.  相似文献
