A scheme is proposed for implementing a controlled-NOT gate via superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) in cavity-QED. The controlled-NOT gate can be achieved by coupling the SQUID to a single-mode microwave cavity field or classical microwave pluses. The scheme may be experimentally realizable. 相似文献

An alternative scheme is proposed for engineering three-dimensional
maximally entangled states for two modes of a superconducting
microwave cavity. In this scheme, an appropriately prepared
four-level atom is sent through a bimodal cavity. During its passing
through the cavity, the atom is coupled resonantly with two cavity
modes simultaneously and addressed by a classical microwave pulse
tuned to the required transition. Then the atomic states are detected
to collapse two modes onto a three-dimensional maximally entangled
state. The scheme is different from the previous one in which two
nonlocal cavities are used. A comparison between them is also made. 相似文献

We present an alternative scheme for preparing the superpositions of coherent states along a straight line of a cavity field using degenerate atom-cavity field Raman interaction. In the scheme, a collection of A-type three-level atoms is orderly sent through the cavity to interact with the cavity field adjusted by a microwave source connected to it, followed by state-selective measurements. In this way, we can prepare the superpositions of several coherent states along a straight line with arbitrary weighting factors for the cavity field. In the scheme, the coherence of the atom-cavity system may be maintained and the second microwave field is unnecessary, which is prior to the previous scheme. 相似文献

A novel scheme which utilizes the microwave photonic filter technique for the optical generation of a microwave signal based on an active mode-locked fiber laser is proposed. A microwave signal generator using a microwave photonic filter based on a 2: 1 optical coupler with a fiber loop which can effectively suppress a low-order frequency component of the microwave signal is demonstrated and a ~10-GHz microwave signal is achieved based on an active mode-locked fiber laser with the original pulse repetition rate of ~5 GHz. 相似文献

We propose a scheme for the enhancement of nonlinear susceptibility in a four-level tripod-type atomic system in the presence of a microwave field. With a microwave field, nonlinear susceptibility can be enhanced. Nonlinearity can also be ulteriorly enhanced by controlling the coupling field under the optimal intensity of the microwave field. The physical mechanism of the obtained giant nonlinear susceptibility is mainly based on interactions between microwave field and coupling fields. We present a physical understanding of our numerical results using a dressed-state approach and an analytical explanation. 相似文献

In this paper, we describe an optical geometry that facilitates our further characterization of the temperature changes above
silver island films (SiFs) on sapphire plates, when exposed to microwave radiation. Since sapphire transmits IR, we designed
an optical scheme to capture real-time temperature images of a thin water film on sapphire plates with and without SiFs during
the application of a short microwave pulse. Using this optical scheme, we can accurately determine the temperature profile
of solvents in proximity to metal structures when exposed to microwave irradiation. We believe that this optical scheme will
provide us with a basis for further studies in designing metal structures to further improve plasmonic-fluorescence clinical

This investigation experimentally demonstrates the effectiveness of microwave transport systems in which a semiconductor laser is used as a radio-frequency (RF) amplifier. This scheme improves the sensitivity of the receiver in a microwave transport system by using a semiconductor laser to amplify the RF signal. The experimental results indicate that the developed architecture has great potential for use in long-distance microwave transport systems. Finally, an optical link monitoring system in the proposed architecture is experimentally demonstrated. 相似文献

A four-level atomic system with a closed interaction loop connected
by two coherent driving fields and a microwave field is
investigated. The results show that inversionless gain can be
achieved on a higher frequency transition outside the closed
interaction loop, and the gain behaviour can be modulated by the
phase of the closed loop as well as the amplitude of the microwave
field. The phase sensitivity property in such a scheme is similar to
that in an analogous configuration with spontaneously generated
coherence, but it is beyond the rigorous condition of
near-degenerate levels with non-orthogonal dipole moments.
Therefore this scheme is much more convenient in experimental

随着无线通信的速率提升和微蜂窝趋势,光载微波技术已经成为重要的发展趋势,而光生多载波系统是光载微波的最重要的技术之一.本文提出了一种基于双环混频光电振荡器(OEO)的可调谐光载微波频率梳产生方案,可同时实现多频段微波信号产生,从而高效低成本地为无线节点提供光生微波载波.方案采用混频双环OEO系统,通过工作在增益开关状态的直调激光器,利用其非线性动态特性产生多频率光载微波频率梳信号,并采用双路微波滤波器分别滤出两个相邻频率的微波信号,并利用二者的差频反馈注入直调激光器构成光电谐振.利用偏振双环结构抑制长谐振腔引起的边模问题,提高了输出信号的噪声特性.经过实验分析,得到了低相噪的多路微波信号,并最终实现了间隔797.4 MHz的稳定的微波频率梳信号,一阶载波相位噪声低于-101.7 dBc/Hz@10 kHz,-115.2 dBc/Hz@50 kHz.因此该方案产生的光载微波频率梳信号具有低噪声的优点,适用于光载微波通信系统. 相似文献

A simple photonic approach is proposed for the implementation of a reconfigurable multi-tap microwave filter with negative coefficients. In this scheme, a dual-optical-input intensity modulation module which can perform counter-phase modulation is constructed using a single electro-optic phase modulator. Two inter-complementary microwave signals are experimentally obtained for verification of the function of counter-phase modulation. We presented a scheme to implement SWAP gate in a microwave cavity. In our scheme, two superconducting quantum interference
device (SQUID) qubits are coupled to a single-mode microwave cavity field by adiabatic passage method for their manipulation.
This process of implementing SWAP gate is in the range of present experiments. The scheme can be easily obtained only by three
steps, which does not require perform any operation. In the scheme, the operations only involve three lowest flux states of
the SQUIDs, and the excited states would not be excited; therefore, the decoherence due to spontaneous emission of the SQUIDs’
levels would not affect the operations. In addition, during the whole procedure the cavity field is not necessary to be excited
because it does not require transfer quantum information between the SQUID’s and the cavity field. Thus, the cavity decay
is suppressed. Therefore our scheme may be realized in superconducting systems. 相似文献

A novel radio-over-fiber (ROF) scheme simultaneously to modulate and transmit 10-Gb/s baseband and 60-GHz microwave signals on a single wavelength using single-sideband (SSB) modulation technique is proposed and verified by simulation. The scheme is based on a Dual-Parallel Mach-Zehnder Modulator (DPMZM). The scheme can carry the microwave signals on either the upper sideband (USB) or the lower sideband (LSB) only and the baseband signals on the other sideband. The optical 60-GHz millimeter wave (mm-wave) carrier is generated by means of subcarrier-multiplexing (SCM) technique to carry 155-Mb/s baseband signals while 10-Gb/s baseband signals are imposed on the original optical carrier via SSB modulation. 对由两支500kW高功率速调管功率合成得到1MW长脉冲低混杂波(LHCD)微波源的可行性进行了分析,并设计了双管功率合成的方案。在HL-2A装置低杂波实验平台上,利用兆瓦级功率合成器,结合相位反馈技术,对两支高功率速调管、四路250kW进行相干微波功率合成,从而得到1MW LHCD微波。经过可行性分析得到,双管相位偏离15o时合成效率下降约1.8%,幅度偏差10%时合成效率下降约0.1%。由此可得到双管功率合成技术的具体实施方案。 相似文献
