The LPCTrap setup at GANIL is fully operational since 2006. The first breakthrough was the detection of 100000 coincidences between the $ \beta$ particles and the recoil ions from the decay of 6He+ produced by the SPIRAL source. After preparation, the decaying nuclei are confined in a transparent Paul trap which is surrounded by a $ \beta$ -telescope made of a double-sided silicon strip detector followed by a scintillator, and by a micro-channel plate position-sensitive detector to record in coincidence the $ \beta$ particles and the recoil ions. Simulations of this system are needed in order to study possible systematic effects and extract with high accuracy the $ \beta$ - $ \nu$ angular-correlation coefficient. A code based on Geant4 is well suited for this purpose. In this contribution the results from the simulations compared with those from the experiment will be presented and discussed.  相似文献

Currently, the Geant4 is a standard tool for simulating experiments in high-energy physics. In this paper, we describe an improvement of the ionization model for hadrons, ions, and classical magnetic monopole, implemented in Geant4. Simulation results are discussed; their accuracy is analyzed depending on chosen parameters, and compared with experimental data.  相似文献

由于低能带电粒子核反应截面直接测量遇到的库仑位垒和电子屏蔽势的困难,基于准自由反应机制的特洛伊木马方法得到特别关注。利用Geant4模拟的结果,与在中国原子能研究院串列加速器上通过三体反应9Be+2H→8Be+2H+n对两体反应9Be+1H→8Be+2H的反应截面做的间接测量实验数据进行了比较,这是Geant4模拟在特洛伊木马方法中的首次应用。通过对模拟数据研究,提高了对实验数据的理解,也检验了模拟系统的可靠性,对今后的实验设计和改进提供了有益的意见。  相似文献

利用Geant4蒙特卡洛程序包, 基于RPP (Rectangular ParallelePiped Volume)模型构建SRAM器件单元的灵敏体积, 编写了重离子在器件材料中的输运程序和单粒子翻转截面计算方法, 得到了简化器件结构的单粒子翻转截面σ与线性能量转移LET的关系曲线, 计算得到的翻转LET阈值和饱和截面与实验结果基本一致。模拟获得了LET值为99.69 MeV/(cm-2·mg)的Bi离子及LET值为69 MeV/(cm-2·mg)的Bi离子和Xe离子在器件材料中产生的δ电子分布图像,讨论了δ电子分布对翻转截面的影响。 计算了灵敏体积中能量沉积与δ电子分布的关系,认为δ电子分布对单粒子效应的影响随着器件的特征尺寸减小将更加严重。In this paper, the sensitive volume of SRAMs was constructed based on RPP(Rectangular ParallelePiped Volume) model using the Monte-Carlo code Geant4. The interactions of heavy ion with materials and the SEU(Single Event Upset) cross section calculation method were presented in the program. The SEU cross section curves with the linear energy deposition ware obtained. The SEU threshold value and saturation cross section were consistent with the testing data with heavy ions beam. The δ electrons distribution were different in the device material, which were generated by Bi ion with LETs of 99.67 MeV/(cm2·mg) and Bi ion, Xe ion with LETs of 69 MeV/(cm-2·mg). These results indicate δ electrons distribution impacts on the SEU cross section. According to the relation of energy deposition in the sensitive volume, the δ electrons distribution have more and more important effect on the Single Event Effect with reducing the feature size of semiconductor devices.  相似文献

The Coulomb barrier and electron screening cause difficulties in directly measuring nuclear reaction cross sections of charged particles at astrophysical energies. The Trojan-horse method (THM) has been introduced to solve the difficulties as a powerful indirect tool. In order to understand experimental spectra better, Geant4 is employed to simulate the method. Validity and reliability of simulation data are examined by comparing the experimental data with simulated results. The Geant4 simulation of THM improves data analysis and is beneficial to the design for future related experiments.  相似文献

针对回旋加速器的束流动力学设计,基于Geant4模拟研究,提供一种可行的数值模拟方法。通过电磁场仿真软件Opera建立相应的电磁场数据导入到Geant4中进行插值计算,利用Geant4自带的电磁场微分方程与微分方程求解器计算粒子的平衡轨道,振荡频率以及加速轨道。其结果表明:对于横向运动而言,Geant4的计算结果与传统数值方法计算结果趋于一致;对于轴向运动而言,由于磁场插值方法的差异性,二者有一定的区别,对于在加速过程中的非平衡粒子,其能量变化围绕平衡粒子振荡。对于束损,通过限制粒子的运动时间,轴向位移加快计算效率,加入电极碰撞的判定使模拟更趋近实际情况。  相似文献

The geant4 simulation tool-kit has been developed as a simulation tool-kit for particle physics, and an ever growing list of laboratories and institutes are using geant4 as baseline for their simulation needs concerning detector design and radiation shielding problems. In addition, there are a growing number of high energy physics experiments that use the technology provided by this program in the preparation of the detector and the interpretation of the data. We will give a brief history of detector simulation in high energy physics as it relates to Geant4, and summarize the activities in the field. We will also analyze the reasons for the current successes of the geant4 tool-kit with a penchant towards hadronic physics simulation.  相似文献

基于Geant4模拟了电子在Teflon介质中的电荷输运过程,获得了其内部的电流密度、剂量率和电荷沉积量沿深度的分布曲线,进而利用电荷连续性方程、泊松方程和深层俘获方程求解出Teflon中高能量、小束流电子辐照下的电场分布. 将介质平板充电过程简化为屏蔽铝板与分层介质组成的Geant4模型,电子源为1.0MeV,0.1pA/cm2的平面源. 通过记录经过各层介质的电子电量和各层介质内沉积能量和电子数目,用统计平均的方法获得了介质内电流密度、剂量率和电荷沉积量沿深度的分布规律. 介质内 关键词: 卫星 介质深层充电 Geant4 电场  相似文献

For the proper interpretation of the experimental data produced in slow positron beam technique, the positron implantation properties are studied carefully using the latest Geant4 code. The simulated backscattering coefficients, the implantation profiles, and the median implantation depths for mono-energetic positrons with energy range from 1 keV to 50 keV normally incident on different crystals are reported. Compared with the previous experimental results, our simulation backscattering coefficients are in reasonable agreement, and we think that the accuracy may be related to the structures of the host materials in the Geant4 code. Based on the reasonable simulated backscattering coefficients, the adjustable parameters of the implantation profiles which are dependent on materials and implantation energies are obtained. The most important point is that we calculate the positron backscattering coefficients and median implantation depths in amorphous polymers for the first time and our simulations are in fairly good agreement with the previous experimental results.  相似文献

As a popular research direction in the field of intelligent transportation, various scholars have widely concerned themselves with traffic sign detection However, there are still some key issues that need to be further solved in order to thoroughly apply related technologies to real scenarios, such as the feature extraction scheme of traffic sign images, the optimal selection of detection methods, and the objective limitations of detection tasks. For the purpose of overcoming these difficulties, this paper proposes a lightweight real-time traffic sign detection integration framework based on YOLO by combining deep learning methods. The framework optimizes the latency concern by reducing the computational overhead of the network, and facilitates information transfer and sharing at diverse levels. While improving the detection efficiency, it ensures a certain degree of generalization and robustness, and enhances the detection performance of traffic signs in objective environments, such as scale and illumination changes. The proposed model is tested and evaluated on real road scene datasets and compared with the current mainstream advanced detection models to verify its effectiveness. In addition, this paper successfully finds a reasonable balance between detection performance and deployment difficulty by effectively reducing the computational cost, which provides a possibility for realistic deployment on edge devices with limited hardware conditions, such as mobile devices and embedded devices. More importantly, the related theories have certain application potential in technology industries such as artificial intelligence or autonomous driving.  相似文献
