This paper is motivated by the stability problem of nonconstant periodic solutions of time‐periodic Lagrangian equations, like the swing and the elliptic Sitnikov problem. As a beginning step, we will study the linearized stability and instability of nonconstant periodic solutions that are bifurcated from those of autonomous Lagrangian equations. Applying the theory for Hill equations, we will establish a criterion for linearized stability. The criterion shows that the linearized stability depends on the temporal frequencies of the perturbed systems in a delicate way.  相似文献

Partial differential equations with possibly discontinuous coefficients play an important part in engineering, physics and ecology. In this paper, we will study nonlinear partial differential equations with variable coefficients arising from population models. Generally speaking, it is difficult to analyze the behavior of nonlinear partial differential equations; therefore, we usually rely on the numerical approximation. Currently, there is an increasing interest in designing numerical schemes that preserve energy properties for differential equations. We will design the numerical schemes that preserve discrete energy property and show numerical experiments for a nonlinear partial differential equation with variable coefficients.  相似文献

In this paper, we use the Riemann sum approach to construct the anticipative stochastic integrals and consider the Cauchy problem (non-adapted initial value) for stochastic integral equations driven by discontinuous semimartingales. For general equations with Lipschitz coefficients, we prove the existence of the solutions. Apropos of semilinear equations, we find that under some conditions uniqueness of solutions will also hold.  相似文献

We describe an approximation scheme which can be used to estimate unknown parameters in moving boundary problems. The model equations we consider are fairly general nonlinear diffusion/reaction equations of one spatial variable. Here we give conditions on the parameter sets and model equations under which we can prove that the estimates obtained using the approximations will converge to best-fit parameters for the original model equations. In this paper, we consider the non‐Lipschitz stochastic differential equations and stochastic functional differential equations with delays driven by Lévy noise, and the approximation theorems for the solutions to these two kinds of equations will be proposed respectively. Non‐Lipschitz condition is much weaker condition than the Lipschitz one. The simplified equations will be defined to make its solutions converge to that of the corresponding original equations both in the sense of mean square and probability, which constitute the approximation theorems. In this paper, we will introduce how to apply Green's function method to get the pointwise estimates for the solutions of Cauchy problem of nonlinear evolution equations with dissipative structure. First of all, we introduce the pointwise estimates of the time-asymptotic shape of the solutions of the isentropic Navier-Stokes equations and show to exhibit the generalized Huygen's principle. Then, for other nonlinear dissipative evolution equations, we will only introduce the result and give some brief explanations. Our approach is based on the detailed analysis of the Green's function of the linearized system and micro-local analysis, such as frequency decomposition and so on.  相似文献

In this paper, we will extend the strict stability to impulsive differential equations. By using Lyapunov functions, we will get some criteria for the strict stability of impulsive differential equations, and we can see that impulses do contribute to the system's strict stability behavior. The study of functional differential equations with piecewise constant arguments usually results in a study of certain related difference equations. In this paper we consider certain neutral functional differential equations of this type and the associated difference equations. We give conditions under which such equations with almost periodic time dependence will have unique almost periodic solutions, and for certain autonomous cases, we obtain certain stability results and also conditions for chaotic behavior of solutions. We are particularly concerned with such equations which are partially discretized versions of non-forced Duffing equations.  相似文献

In this paper we shall introduce new constructions of approximate solutions of general linear partial differential equations with constant coefficients on the whole spaces, and establish fundamental estimates of the solutions depending on the inhomogeneous terms. This will be done by combining general ideas of the Tikhonov regularization and discretization of bounded linear operator equations on reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces. Risk measure is a fundamental concept in finance and in the insurance industry. It is used to adjust life insurance rates. In this article, we will study dynamic risk measures by means of backward stochastic Volterra integral equations (BSVIEs) with jumps. We prove a comparison theorem for such a type of equations. Since the solution of a BSVIEs is not a semimartingale in general, we will discuss some particular semimartingale issues.  相似文献
