Pulse vaccination on SEIR epidemic model with nonlinear incidence rate   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
In this paper, we consider an SEIR epidemic model with two time delays and nonlinear incidence rate, and study the dynamical behavior of the model with pulse vaccination. By using the Floquet theorem and comparison theorem, we prove that the infection-free periodic solution is globally attractive when R*<1, and using a new modelling method, we obtain a sufficient condition for the permanence of the epidemic model with pulse vaccination when R*>1.  相似文献

Pulse vaccination is an effective strategy for the elimination of infectious diseases. In this paper, we considered an SEIR epidemic model with delay and impulsive vaccination direct at a variable population and analyzed its dynamic behaviors. Using the discrete dynamical system determined by the stroboscopic map, we obtain the exact infection‐free periodic solution of the impulsive epidemic system, further, prove that the infection‐free periodic solution is globally attractive if the vaccination rate is larger than θ* or the length of latent period of disease is larger than τ* or the length of period of impulsive vaccination is smaller than T*. We also prove that a short latent period of the disease (with τ) or a long period of pulsing (with T) or a small pulse vaccination rate (with θ) is sufficient to bring about the disease is uniformly persistent. Let X0 be a smooth uniformly convex hypersurface and f a postive smooth function in Sn. We study the motion of convex hypersurfaces X(·,t) with initial X(·,0)=θX0 along its inner normal at a rate equal to log(K/f) where K is the Gauss curvature of X(·,t). We show that the hypersurfaces remain smooth and uniformly convex, and there exists θ*>0 such that if θ<θ*, they shrink to a point in finite time and, if θ>θ*, they expand to an asymptotic sphere. Finally, when θ=θ*, they converge to a convex hypersurface of which Gauss curvature is given explicitly by a function depending on f(x).  相似文献

A stage-structured epidemic model with two differential susceptible of susceptibility and pulse vaccination is proposed. We introduce two thresholds R and R, and further prove that a disease cannot invade the disease-free state if R is less than unit and can invade if R is larger than unit. In this paper, an impulsive birth and infection age SIS epidemic model is studied. Since infection age is an important factor of epidemic progression, we incorporate the infection age into the model. In this model, we analyze the dynamical behaviors of this model and point out that there exists an infection‐free periodic solution that is globally asymptotically stable if R0<1. When R1>1, R2<1, then the disease is permanent. Our results indicate that a large period T of pulse, or a small pulse birth rate p is the sufficient condition for the eradication of the disease. A delayed epidemic model with non-monotonic incidence rate which describes the psychological effect of certain serious on the community when the number of infectives is getting larger is studied. The disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable when R0<1 and is globally attractive when R0=1 are derived. On the other hand, The disease is permanent when R0>1 is also obtained. Numerical simulation results are given to support the theoretical predictions.  相似文献

For a discrete group G, we consider βG, the Stone– ech compactification of G, as a right topological semigroup, and G*GG as a subsemigroup of βG. We study the mappings λp* :G*G*and μ* :G*G*, the restrictions to G* of the mappings λpG→βG and μ :βG→βG, defined by the rules λp(q)=pq, μ(q)=qq. W(R)-splines     
In [3] Golomb describes, for 1 < p < ∞, the Hr,p(R)-extremal extension F* of a function ƒ:ER (i.e., the Hr,p-spline with knots in E) and studies the cone H*Er,p of all such splines. We study the problem of determining when F* is in Wr,pHr,pLp. If F* ε Wr,p, then F* is called a Wr,p-spline, and we denote by W*Er,p the cone of all such splines. If E is quasiuniform, then F* ε Wr,p if and only if {ƒ(ti)}tiεE ε lp. The cone W*Er,p with E quasiuniform is shown to be homeomorphic to lp. Similarly, H*Er,p is homeomorphic to hr,p. Approximation properties of the Wr,p-splines are studied and error bounds in terms of the mesh size ¦ E ¦ are calculated. Restricting ourselves to the case p = 2 and to quasiuniform partitions E, the second integral relation is proved and better error bounds in terms of ¦ E ¦ are derived.  相似文献

Let (XR) be an association scheme in the sense of P.-H. Zieschang (1996, “An Algebraic Approach to Association Schemes,” Lecture Notes in Mathematics, Vol. 1628, Springer, New York/Berlin), where X is a finite set and R is a partition of X × X. We say that (XR) is quasi-thin if each element of R has a valency of at most two. When the role of network topology is taken into consideration, one of the objectives is to understand the possible implications of topological structure on epidemic models. As most real networks can be viewed as complex networks, we propose a new delayed SEτ IRωS epidemic disease model with vertical transmission in complex networks. By using a delayed ODE system, in a small-world (SW) network we prove that, under the condition R0 ≤ 1, the disease-free equilibrium (DFE) is globally stable. When R0 > 1, the endemic equilibrium is unique and the disease is uniformly persistent. We further obtain the condition of local stability of endemic equilibrium for R0 > 1. In a scale-free (SF) network we obtain the condition R1 > 1 under which the system will be of non-zero stationary prevalence.  相似文献

The behavior of the posterior for a large observation is considered. Two basic situations are discussed; location vectors and natural parameters.Let X = (X1, X2, …, Xn) be an observation from a multivariate exponential distribution with that natural parameter Θ = (Θ1, Θ2, …, Θn). Let θx* be the posterior mode. Sufficient conditions are presented for the distribution of Θ − θx* given X = x to converge to a multivariate normal with mean vector 0 as |x| tends to infinity. These same conditions imply that E(Θ | X = x) − θx* converges to the zero vector as |x| tends to infinity.The posterior for an observation X = (X1, X2, …, Xn is considered for a location vector Θ = (Θ1, Θ2, …, Θn) as x gets large along a path, γ, in Rn. Sufficient conditions are given for the distribution of γ(t) − Θ given X = γ(t) to converge in law as t → ∞. Slightly stronger conditions ensure that γ(t) − E(Θ | X = γ(t)) converges to the mean of the limiting distribution.These basic results about the posterior mean are extended to cover other estimators. Loss functions which are convex functions of absolute error are considered. Let δ be a Bayes estimator for a loss function of this type. Generally, if the distribution of Θ − E(Θ | X = γ(t)) given X = γ(t) converges in law to a symmetric distribution as t → ∞, it is shown that δ(γ(t)) − E(Θ | X = γ(t)) → 0 as t → ∞.  相似文献

Let k = (kα)αε, be a positive-real valued multiplicity function related to a root system , and Δk be the Dunkl-Laplacian operator. For (x, t) ε N, × , denote by uk(x, t) the solution to the deformed wave equation Δkuk,(x, t) = δttuk(x, t), where the initial data belong to the Schwartz space on N. We prove that for k 0 and N l, the wave equation satisfies a weak Huygens' principle, while a strict Huygens' principle holds if and only if (N − 3)/2 + Σαε+kα ε . Here + is a subsystem of positive roots. As a particular case, if the initial data are supported in a closed ball of radius R > 0 about the origin, the strict Huygens principle implies that the support of uk(x, t) is contained in the conical shell {(x, t), ε N × | |t| − R x |t| + R}. Our approach uses the representation theory of the group SL(2, ), and Paley-Wiener theory for the Dunkl transform. Also, we show that the (t-independent) energy functional of uk is, for large |t|, partitioned into equal potential and kinetic parts.  相似文献

Summary Without using spectral resolution, an elementary proof of convergence of Seidel iteration. The proof is based on the lemma (generalizing a lemma of P. A remarkable theorem proved by Komlòs [4] states that if {fn} is a bounded sequence in L1(R), then there exists a subsequence {fnk} and f L1(R) such that fnk (as well as any further subsequence) converges Cesaro to f almost everywhere. A similar theorem due to Révész [6] states that if {fn} is a bounded sequence in L2(R), then there is a subsequence {fnk} and f L2(R) such that Σk=1 ak(fnkf) converges a.e. whenever Σk=1 | ak |2 < ∞. In this paper, an SIRS epidemic model with a nonlinear incidence rate and a time delay is investigated. By analyzing the corresponding characteristic equations, the local stability of an endemic equilibrium and a disease-free equilibrium is discussed. By comparison arguments, it is proved that if the basic reproductive number R0<1, the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. If R0>1, by means of an iteration technique, sufficient conditions are derived for the global asymptotic stability of the endemic equilibrium.  相似文献

We study the asymptotic behavior of the ground-state wave function of multiparticle quantum systems without statistics in that region of configuration space where the particles break up into two well-defined clusters very far apart. One example of our results is the following: consider a system of N particles moving in three dimensions with rotationally invariant two-body potentials which are bounded and have compact support. Let D = C1,C2 be a partition into two clusters so that H(C1) and H(C2) have discrete ground states η1 and η2 of energy ε1 and ε2.
