Classical complex formation processes in the multicomponent systems Cd(NO3)2-MCl-H2O (M = Li, Cs) occur at preeutectic concentrations of salts. At posteutectic concentrations of salts the formation of cadmium chloride complexes is of structurally enforced nature and depends on the type of the cybotactic group dominating in the solution. The example of the system Cd(NO3)2-LiCl-H2O was used to show that the law of mass action does not apply to systems in which structurally enforced processes occur. Differences in the solubility of MCl (M = Li, Cs, Na) in concentrated solutions of cadmium nitrate are proposed to explain in terms of differences in interactions of cybotactic groups formed by cadmium nitrate and the corresponding chloride.  相似文献

Synthesis of five binary complex salts with an [Ir(NH3)5Cl]2+ complex cation is described. The counterions are [ReCl6]2–, [IrCl6]2–, [ReBr6]2–, and Cl. A polycrystal X-ray diffraction study has been performed for [Ir(NH3)5Cl]2[ReCl6]Cl2, and its crystal structure has been determined. A series of Ir x Re1–x phases (0.5 x > 1) were obtained by reductive thermolysis. Dissolution of vanadium in anhydrous HNO3 followed by exposure of the solution in a dessicator over P2O5 gave liquid vanadyl trinitrate (I). The X-ray diffraction analysis of I was carried out for a single crystal grown on cooling the liquid in a sealed capillary. The structure is composed of VO(NO)3 molecules in which the V atom has an unusually high C.N. 7; it coordinates the terminal O atom and three bidentate nitrate groups to form a distorted pentagonal bipyramid as the coordination polyhedron with the terminal O atom occupying one axial vertex. Using the GAMESS program package, ab initio calculation of the structure of VO (NO3)3 in the liquid phase was carried out. It was shown that in all three physical states, vanadyl trinitrate retains its molecular structure almost invariable. Toluene and naphthalene nitration using I and (NO2)[Fe(NO3)4], NO[Cu(NO3)3], (NO)3/4(NO2)1/4[Zr(NO3)5], and MoO2(NO3)2 proceeds at high rates at low temperatures to give an unusually high para-nitrotoluene percentage in the products as compared with the ortho-isomer. The activity of the studied compounds in the nitration of naphthalene decreases in the series VO(NO3)3 > (NO)3/4(NO2)1/4[Zr(NO3)5] > MoO2(NO3)2.  相似文献

Isonicotinato cadmium(II) complex [Cd(C6H4NO2)2(H2O)4] has been synthesized by hydrothermal method and characterized by elemental analysis, electronic-spectra and thermogravimetric analysis. Density functional theory (DFT) method calculations of the structure, atomic charges distribution, electronic spectra, natural population analysis and the thermodynamic properties at different temperatures have been performed. The calculated results show the electronic transitions are mainly derived from the contribution of bands π → π* and the decomposition of the title compound should first occur at the bond of Cd—O, then at the bond of Cd—N, which agrees very well with the experimental data.  相似文献

Glass formation boundaries in the Al2(SO4)3-Al(NO3)3-H2O system were determined. IR spectra were studied. Schemes of structural rearrangements within the boundaries of a second glass formation region in the Al(NO3)3-H2O binary subsystem are suggested. Magnetic characteristics of the dinuclear complex (2,3-Me2C5H3N)2Fe2(μ-OOCCMe3)4 (1) were studied in the temperature interval 2–300 K. The magnetic behavior of complex 1 was interpreted in terms of the orbital-dependent exchange theory with allowance for the temperature dependence of the populations of the split 5T2g ground-state components of the FeII ions. The calculated values of the orbital-dependent exchange parameters are in good agreement with the results reported for dinuclear carboxylates of other 3d-transition metals and suggest the existence of strong ferromagnetism in some types of heterodinuclear carboxylates.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. A complex of uranyl perchlorate with imidazolidine-2-one as the molecular ligand, [UO2(Imon)4(H2O)](ClO4)2 (I), was synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. The coordination number of the uranium atom is 7. The nearest environment of the uranyl ion includes four O atoms of the imidazolidine-2-one molecules and one O atom of the water molecule. The perchlorate anions are outer-sphere ligands. The crystals are monoclinic: space group P21/c; a = 16.294(3) Å, b = 16.135(3) Å, c = 9.987(2) Å, = 97.69 (3)°, V = 2603.0 (9) Å3, (calcd) = 2.117 g/cm3, Z = 4. The structure of Zn3P2 (P 42/nmc, a = b = 8. 0785 Å, c = 11. 3966 Å) was solved and refined to R = 3. 2% in a precision X-ray diffraction experiment (λ-MoK a, graphite monochromator on a primary beam, 27,496 reflections) . Interatomic distances and bond angles have been determined. The fcc lattice of the structure is built from phosphorus atoms, and the zinc atoms occupy 3/4 of all tetrahedral voids; the structure is described by two equivalent models where 1/4 occupied (by zinc atoms) and 1/4 vacant voids change places. The efflorescence and deliquescence processes of Mg(NO3)2 aerosol particles deposited on ZnSe substrate have been investigated through in situ Fourier transform infrared-attenuated total reflection (FTIR-ATR) technique at the molecular level. At relative humidity (RH) of ∼3%, Mg(NO3)2 particles existed as amorphous states. The amorphous Mg(NO3)2 particles were transformed into crystalline Mg(NO3)2 · nH2O (n ≤ 5) with slight increasing of RH. Thermodynamically stable Mg(NO3)2·6H2O crystals were gradually formed on the particle surface and started to be dissolved at the saturation point (∼53% RH). At the same time, a continuous phase transition from Mg(NO3)2 · nH2O (n≤5) to Mg(NO3)2·6H2O occurred on the particle surface. This led the solid particles to completely deliquesce at 76% RH, which was much higher than the saturation point of 53% RH. In the efflorescence process, Mg(NO3)2 droplets entered into the supersaturated region due to the gradual evaporation of water. Finally, amorphous particles were formed when RH decreased below 5%. In the FTIR-ATR spectra of the supersaturated Mg(NO3)2 droplets, the absorbance of the symmetric stretching vibration of NO 3 (v 1- NO 3 ) clearly became stronger. It resulted from the continuous formation of solvent share ion pairs (SIPs), and even the contact ion pairs (CIPs) between Mg2+ and NO 3 . It is demonstrated by ESR measurements that O 2 (CO + O2) radical anions result from CO + O2 adsorption on the oxidized surface of CeO2. These radical anions are stabilized in the coordination sphere of Ce4+ cations located in isolated and associated anionic vacancies. This reaction shows an activation behavior determined by CO adsorption. The variation of O 2 (CO + O2) concentration with CO adsorption temperature suggests that surface carbonates and carboxylates participate in this reaction. In the (0.5– 10.0)%CeO2/ZrO2 system, O 2 forms on supported CeO2 and is stabilized on Ce4+ and Zr4+ cations. Thermal decomposition of [Cd(NH3)6](NO3)2 was studied by thermogravimetry (TG) with simultaneous differential thermal analysis (SDTA) for two samples and at two different sets of measurement parameters. The gaseous products of the decomposition were on-line identified by evolved gas analysis (EGA) with a quadruple mass spectrometer (QMS). The decomposition of the title compound proceeds, for both cases, in the three main stages. In the first stage, deammination of [Cd(NH3)6](NO3)2 to [Cd(NH3)](NO3)2 undergoes by three steps and 5/6 of all NH3 molecules are liberated. At second stage the liberation of residual 1/6NH3 molecules and the formation of Cd(NO3)2 undergoes. However, during this process simultaneously a two-step oxidation of a part of ammonia molecules also takes place. In a first step as a result a mixture of ammonia, water vapour and nitrogen is formatted. At the second step, subsequent oxidation of a next part of NH3 molecules undergoes. As a result, a mixture of nitrogen oxide, nitrogen and water vapour is formatted, what for these both steps clearly indicates the EGA analysis. The third stage of the thermal decomposition is connected with the melting and subsequent decomposition of residual Cd(NO3)2 to oxygen, nitrogen dioxide and solid CdO. Additionally, third sample was measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and the results are fully consistent with those obtained by TG.  相似文献

Solubilities and solid phases in the system Mn(NO3)2-HCONH2-H2O were studied by an isothermal method at 25°C. The congruently saturating compound Mn(NO3)2 · 2HCONH2 · 2H2O was isolated; the concentration conditions for its crystallization in the system were determined. The solid phases of the system were characterized by physicochemical methods (X-ray powder diffraction, differential thermal analysis, IR spectroscopy, and crystal-optical analysis).  相似文献

Charges on the atoms and structural parameters of the Xe(CF3)2, FXeCF3, and XeF2 molecules were calculated by the MP2(full)/MIDI(d6)&6-311G(d 6) quantum-chemical methods. The calculated energy of Xe(CF3)2 is greater by 113 kcal/mol than the overall energy of C2F6 and Xe, and the energy of FXeCF3 is greater by 108 kcal/mol than the overall energy of CF4 and Xe, the barrier to the decomposition being estimated at 40 kcal/mol. The crystal structure of Ba(VUO6)2 was determined by X-ray diffraction at 243 K: monoclinic crystal system, space group P21/c, unit cell parameters a=6.4992(6) Å, b=8.3803(8) Å, c=10.4235(9) Å, =104.749(2) °, Z=2. The structure contains close-packed [VUO6] 2 - layers formed by the dimers of the flattened U2O12 pentagonal bipyramids and by the dimers of V2O8 square pyramids. Behavior of silver sulfide in the system Ag2S-Fe(NO3)3-HNO3-H2O was studied at 25, 55, and 80°C using the method of the simplex-lattice experiment design. The quantitative dependences of Ag2S oxidation on the concentrations of the acid and Fe3+ were determined. The isoconcentration diagrams were obtained.  相似文献

The ZrO(NO3)2-H3PO4-CsF-H2O system was studied at 20°C along the section at a molar ratio of PO43−/Zr = 0.5 (which is of the greatest interest in the context of phase formation) at ZrO2 concentrations in the initial solutions of 2–14 wt % and molar ratios of CsF: Zr = 1−6. The following compounds were isolated for the first time: crystalline fluorophosphates CsZrF2PO4 · H2O, amorphous oxofluorophosphate Cs2Zr3O2F4(PO4)2 · 3H2O, and amorphous oxofluorophosphate nitrate CsZr3O1.25F4(PO4)2(NO3)0.5 · 4.5H2O. The compound Cs3Zr3O1.5F6(PO4)2 · 3H2O was also isolated, which forms in a crystalline or glassy form, depending on conditions. The formation of the following new compounds was established: Cs2Zr3O1.5F5(PO4)2 · 2H2O, Cs2Zr3F2(PO4)4 · 4.5H2O, and Zr3O4(PO4)1.33 · 6H2O, which crystallize only in a mixture with known phases. All the compounds were studied by X-ray powder diffraction, crystal-optical, thermal, and IR spectroscopic analyses.  相似文献

The dicationic arene complexes [CpM(arene)](BF4)2 (arene = C6H6, 1,3,5-C6H3Me3, or C6Me6) were synthesized by the reactions of the solvated complexes [CpM(MeNO2)3](BF4)2 (M = Rh, Ir) with benzene and its derivatives. The solvated complexes were generated in situ by abstraction of I from [CpMI2]2 with AgBF4. A procedure was developed for the synthesis of the iodide [CpRhI2]2 based on the reaction of the cyclooctadiene derivative CpRh(1,5-C8H12) with I2. The structure of the [CpRh(C6Me6)](BF4)2 complex was established by X-ray diffraction analysis.Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Complexation between crystalline trans-[Pd(H2O)2(NO3)2] and acetylacetone was studied. The complexes Pd2(Acac)2(μ-NO3)2(I) and Pd2(Acac)2(μ-Acac)(μ-NO3)(II) were obtained and examined by elemental analysis, X-ray powder diffraction analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, simultaneous thermal analysis, mass spectrometry, and vibrational spectroscopy.  相似文献
