The aim of the present study is to retrieve all the anisotropic plastic constitutive parameters from uniaxial loading. A complex geometry which can provide very heterogeneous stress states in a uniaxial tensile test was chosen for steel sheet specimens. A digital image correlation technique was used for the full-field heterogeneous strain measurement. The orthotropic Hill1948 yield criterion with Swift isotropic hardening was adopted as an elasto-plastic constitutive model. The virtual fields method (VFM) was employed as an inverse analytical tool to determine the constitutive parameters. All the parameters were successfully identified using the VFM by combining two tensile test results obtained in rolling and transverse directions.  相似文献

Given a quaternion representation of a spherical motion of a rigid body with respect to another body, acting as a reference frame, this contribution presents a simple and straightforward method for determining both the angular velocity and angular acceleration of the moving body with respect to the reference frame. Instead of employing orthogonal matrices or their linear invariants, this contribution makes use of quaternions avoiding, in this way, the series of matrix identities or theorems that are required in a pair of previous approaches.  相似文献

A simple kinetic model is presented for the shear rheology of a dilute suspension of particles swimming at low Reynolds number. If interparticle hydrodynamic interactions are neglected, the configuration of the suspension is characterized by the particle orientation distribution, which satisfies a Fokker-Planck equation including the effects of the external shear flow, rotary diffusion, and particle tumbling. The orientation distribution then determines the leading-order term in the particle extra stress in the suspension, which can be evaluated based on the classic theory of Hinch and Leal (J Fluid Mech 52(4):683–712, 1972), and involves an additional contribution arising from the permanent force dipole exerted by the particles as they propel themselves through the fluid. Numerical solutions of the steady-state Fokker-Planck equation were obtained using a spectral method, and results are reported for the shear viscosity and normal stress difference coefficients in terms of flow strength, rotary diffusivity, and correlation time for tumbling. It is found that the rheology is characterized by much stronger normal stress differences than for passive suspensions, and that tail-actuated swimmers result in a strong decrease in the effective shear viscosity of the fluid.  相似文献

A General Method for Estimating Dynamic Parameters of Spatial Mechanisms   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Dynamic equations of motion require a large number of parameters for each element of the system. These can include for each part their mass, location of center of mass, moment of inertia, spring stiffnesses and damping coefficients. This paper presents a technique for estimating these parameters in spatial mechanisms using any joint type, based on measurements of displacements, velocities and accelerations and of external forces and torques, for the purpose of building accurate multibody models of mechanical systems. A form of the equations of spatial motion is derived, which is linear in the dynamic parameters and based on multibody simulation code methodologies. Singular value decomposition is used to find the essential parameter set, and minimum parameter set. It is shown that a simulation of a four-bar mechanism (with spherical, universal, and revolute joints) and based on the estimated parameters gives accurate response.  相似文献

This paper presents an experimental validation of the use of the virtual fields method to identify the elasto-plastic behaviour of an iron specimen from full-field measurements with the grid method and a simple heterogeneous test configuration. The experimental procedure is carefully detailed since it is of primary importance to obtain good identification results. In particular, the use of two back-to-back cameras has proved essential to eliminate out-of-plane effects. Then, the procedure for extracting the elastic parameters and the parameters of a Voce’s hardening model using the virtual fields method is presented. The results are very convincing and encouraging for future developments using more complex test geometries leading to fully multi-axial stress states. It is a first step towards the development of such inverse procedures as an alternative to difficult and costly methods involving homogeneous tests using multi-axial testing machines.  相似文献

On the basis of hydraulic models of the vascular bed, the possibility of quantitatively estimating the resistances, inertia coefficients and compliances of model elements, as well as the changes in these parameters, from the hydraulic input impedance is evaluated. It is shown that the input impedance method makes it possible to find stable estimates for the hydraulic model parameters using the least squares method. No significant differences between the parameters of hydraulic models of the vascular bed calculated by the input impedance method and measured independently were found. The possibility of using the input impedance method to estimate the arterial response of an organ is discussed.  相似文献

提出用星敏感器和地平仪测量星光角距作为主要观测量,用地平仪直接测量得到地心方向矢量,用间接测得的地心距离作为补充观测量,并用推广卡尔曼滤波方法来实时确定航天器的轨道。文中对系统的构成、模型的建立、以及卡尔曼滤波的方法都作了认真的仿真研究,并获得了满意的结果。  相似文献

This paper deals with the accurate calculation of strain using the grid method. The strain field is first directly deduced from the fringe pattern without calculating the displacement field. This procedure is validated with two numerical examples. Two types of experiment are then carried out: a translation and a tensile test. It is observed that some additional fictitious strains appear in both cases. They are due to two main reasons which interact with each other: the grid defects and the displacement of the grid lines during testing. A suitable procedure is proposed to cancel out these fictitious strains. This procedure is successfully applied in two cases of fringe patterns.  相似文献

In two recent papers, Ntinger and Estébenet, 2000; Ntinger et al., submitted, we set-up a method allowing to compute both the transient and steady-state exchange terms between the matrix and fractured regions of a naturally fractured porous medium using continuous time random walk methods (CTRW). The goal of the present paper is to show that a new version of the CTRW algorithm provides a direct determination of the so called transient exchange function f(t) (or its Laplace transform f(s)) widely used in well test interpretation. It is shown that this function is directly linked with the probability density of the first escape time in the fractured region of a Brownian particle launched initially in the matrix region. This new interpretation allows relating directly the exchange coefficient with the mean escape time of brownian particles in the matrix. From a practical point of view, these new results allow to derive a simpler version of the CTRW method. In addition, we obtain a considerable speed up of the CTRW method for up-scaling fractured reservoirs.  相似文献
