In a recent paper BHATTACHARYYA has derived the pion and kaon production spectra in the atmosphere using a form of the primary nucleon energy spectrum of the measurements of GRIGOROV et al. and the interaction model of BUGAEV et al. The sea level muon spectrum derived from these meson spectra agrees with the magnetic spectrograph data of ALLKOFER et al. and AYRE et al. In this report a critical analysis of the paper has been made and some obvious mistakes in the formulation have been pointed out. The formulation of BUGAEV et al. and the data of GRIGOROV at al. have been misinterpreted by BHATTACHARYYA . The corrected results have been properly interpreted in this report.  相似文献

由JACEE?,RUNJOB和SOKOL等宇宙线直接测量结果和刚度截断模型,对于1014—1016eV能区的初级宇宙线微分能谱参数进行调整.利用调整后的能谱与选取QGSJET模型的CORSIKA程序进行EAS模拟,同HD,PD谱进行对比研究.采用相同的标准对模拟数据与实验数据进行分析.结果表明,调整后的谱和HD谱的模拟结果与甘巴拉山乳胶室实验结果符合较好,而PD谱的模拟结果与实验结果偏离较大.  相似文献

A new type of scaling model for p + p → π? + X inclusive reactions, proposed by DAO et al., is applied to derive the sea level muon spectrum. The nucleon spectrum data of Goddard Space Flight Group were taken as input. It is found that the sea level muon spectrum depends explicitly on the average value of the FEYNMAN variable x whose most probable value is estimated to be 0.18.  相似文献

怀柔EAS阵列对初级宇宙线“膝”区能谱的测定   总被引:5,自引:2,他引:5  
仔细分析了近年来怀柔广延大气簇射阵列记录的65万个大气簇射事例,得到了簇射Size(即荷电总粒子数)谱和1015—5×1016eV能段的初级宇宙线微分能谱.此谱呈明显的、平滑过渡的“膝”样结构,拐点在3×1015eV附近.除了“膝”较平滑不象明野谱那样尖锐拐折而外,怀柔谱在绝对流强和“膝”的位置上都与日本明野组吻合得很好.在银河磁场刚度截止模型框架下,怀柔实验Size谱界定的宇宙线质子谱拐折能量Ec的取值范围在160到240TeV之间.  相似文献

The lg Ne-Nμ relationship has been studied from 4.4×104 events (total observation time is 2.9×106s)collected from Mt. Liang Wang Array (24.5°N, 102.9°E, 2720m above sea level). In order to study the mass composition at the knee, Monte-Carlo simulations for the EAS development and detection under same event selection criteria as used in the experimental data have been performed. The result shows that the mass composition of primary cosmic rays has no obvious change and the dominant component is light nuclei around the knee.  相似文献

Calculations have been carried out to investigate the contribution of an increasing total cross section to steepening of the cosmic ray energy spectrum at very high energies (E ? 1012 eV). Our results suggest that increasing total cross section contributes only a part to the steepening of primary energy spectrum at very high energies even if the composition is pure primary iron flux.  相似文献

用梁王山宇宙线观测站的数据研究宇宙线大气簇射μ子定点密度谱,谱呈现明显的拐折.通过MonteCarlo模拟,得到拐点对应的能量约为1.7×1015eV,拐点前后原初能谱指数差约为0.43,证实了KASCADE实验μ子定点密度谱呈现拐折的首次观测结果,又一次推证了原初宇宙线能谱膝的存在.  相似文献

使用4种具有不同特点的强相互作用模型,按照西藏羊八井ASγ联合实验的条件,对“膝”区能量宇宙线的大气簇射过程进行蒙特卡罗模拟.分析了不同模型的簇射特征,找出与原初组成比较密切的特征量.最后用一种BP型人工神经网络对模拟结果进行分辨,并检验了分辨能力与作用模型的关系.结果表明,该网络能有效地挑选出不同模型产生的质子事例,分辨能力受作用模型的影响较弱.  相似文献

The cosmic-ray particles of TeV-regime, outside the solar system are blocked in their way to the Earth, a deficit of particles is observed corresponding to the location of the Sun known as the Sun shadow. The center of the Sun shadow is shifted from its nominal position due to the presence of magnetic fields in interplanetary space,and this shift is used indirectly as a probe to study the solar magnetic field that is difficult to measure otherwise.A detailed Monte Carlo simulation of galactic cosmic-ray propagation in the Earth–Sun system is carried out to disentangle the cumulative effects of solar, interplanetary and geomagnetic fields. The shadowing effects and the displacements results of the Sun shadow in different solar activities are reproduced and discussed.  相似文献

利用羊八井ASγ二期阵列实验数据,分析研究了10TeV宇宙线时间变化,以10.4σ和9.6σ的显著性发现了10TeV宇宙线流强气象效应修正后的半太阳日和太阳日周期变化,没有发现有恒星日变化.同时发现10TeV宇宙线流强有7天左右周期变化的迹象.  相似文献

The new scaling variable model explains the scaling behavior of p + pp + X inclusive reactions at ISR energies. The cosmic antiproton spectrum has been derived from this model using the primary proton spectrum of RYAN et al. The derived antiproton-proton flux ratio lies within the upper limit value of BOGOMOLOV et al. and CHEN. The estimated antiproton spectrum follows the relation where the antiproton energy Ep is expressed in GeV and the intensity in units (cm2 sec sr GeV)?1.  相似文献

215 blocks of K6,K7,K8 lead emulsion chambers on Mt.Kanbala are carefully scanned,and a total of 111 muon events are found with zenith angle M(=tgθ)>2.5.The energy of muon showers are determined by saddle-shape curves.The intensity of muon,the energy spectrum and the zenith angle distribution of muon showers on the altitude of 5500m above sea level are shown in the energy region Eμ>2TeV.Meanwhile the simulation calculation is done for the behaviour of muon inside the emulsion chamber,simulation results are basically in agreement with the experiment.  相似文献

以L3宇宙线实验的径迹重建为例,讨论了一个在磁谱仪漂移室中对大斜率宇宙线径迹着火点进行重建的Cellmap,并与L3宇宙线实验中已采用的Cellmap进行了比较. 对大斜率径迹,用新的Cellmap可以重建出更多的着火点,并且径迹重建χ2量的分布有所改善.  相似文献

在pQCD的部分子模型和独立碎裂方案的部分子强子化模型基础上,建立了用于超高能宇宙线与空气核相互作用的产生器.通过拟合PP散射和e+e对撞实验数据来决定产生器中的参数.再现了从s=546GeV到1800GeVpp散射中喷注的产生和从s=14GeV到91GeV e+e对撞等实验的基本特征,并外推到≤22TeV的超高能区.  相似文献
