The Stark structures in a cesium atom around n=18 are numerically calculated. The results show that the components of 20D states with a small azimuthal quantum number |m| shift upward a lot, and those with a large |m| shift downward a little within 1100 V/cm. All components of P states shift downward. Experimental work has been performed in ultracold atomic cesium. Atoms initially in 6P3/2 state are excited to high-n Rydberg states by a polarization light perpendicular to the field, and Stark spectra with |m|=1/2,3/2,5/2 are simultaneously observed with a large linewidth for the first time. The observed spectra are analyzed in detail. The relative transition probability is calculated. The experimental results are in good agreement with our numerical computation.  相似文献

The transport of neutrons through noncoplanar systems is shown to have a partly unidirectional character. To this end, the transmission of a three-layer magnetic film with a noncoplanar magnetization in the absence of applied magnetic field and the transmission of a two-layer magnetic film with a noncollinear magnetization in the presence of a magnetic field are calculated. The calculations demonstrate that, if the losses in the films are neglected, the transmissions in two opposite directions differ only for processes with and without spin flip. If these losses are taken into account, the total transmissions of a nonpolarized neutron beam in two opposite directions are also different. The consequences of these specific features of noncoplanar systems are discussed.  相似文献

Receiving electroacoustic transducers with sensing elements made of an elastic piezoelectric composite material are described. The parameters of a composite material that exhibits a bulk piezoelectric effect are presented. Results obtained by measuring the turbulent noise in a hydrodynamic channel with the use of piezoelectric composite receivers are reported. The results are compared with those of the noise measurements by a miniature piezoceramic receiver and are considered in the light of the known models of near-wall turbulence.  相似文献

The propagation and scattering of light in stratified media are considered. Based on the Maxwell equations, the present approaches to the solution of these problems are formulated in a unified way. The particular features of the wave propagation in stratified media are discussed. Scalar and vector fields are considered. Media with small-and large-scale regular inhomogeneities are examined. The construction of the Green’s function of the wave equation in a spatially homogeneous medium is discussed. Stratified isotropic and anisotropic media are analyzed. The scattering of light in a stratified medium is studied with emphasis on the Kirchhoff method, as this makes it possible to obtain calculation formulas in a form convenient for comparing the theory with the experiment. The propagation of waves in photonic crystals and the formation of forbidden zones in such objects are briefly considered.  相似文献

The results of single-probe studies of thick and thin silicon p-n junctions are described. The electric fields in a diode with a p+-n junction and in a stabilitron with a p-n junction in the forward and reverse directions are studied. Measurements are made at various currents and temperatures. The p-n junctions are analyzed on the basis of the probe measurements.  相似文献

In this article, two optical-fibre probes used in displacement measurements are reported. In one arrangement, two optical fibres with protective buffer jackets are placed together, while in the second arrangement, the protective buffer jackets are removed and the two fibres are placed with the claddings in contact, with a concomitant smaller centre-centre distance. As the core and cladding diameters are the same in both probes, the effect of the centre-centre distance on double-fibre designs can be investigated. The reflected output powers are recorded for the probes as a function of the axial distance from a reflective surface. A theoretical model is also implemented, which considers the effect of centre-to-centre separation of the optical fibres on the sensor performance, and the experimental results are compared with the theoretical predictions. The computed response curve includes a dead region where there is no response to displacement, an active region with an increasing reflection power with increasing displacement and a decaying region in which the reflected power decreases with increase in displacement. The operational performance criteria of the two probes are also investigated. The hysteresis, reproducibility and time stability of the probes are investigated. The hysteresis is approximately 1%, reproducibility approximately 1.1% and time stability is better than 1.5% (600 s time scale) in both probes.  相似文献

Chiral amplitudes for two-jet processes in quasiperipheral kinematics are calculated at the Born and one-loop correction levels. The amplitudes of subprocesses describing the interaction of a virtual and a real photon with the creation of a charged fermion pair for various chiral states are considered in detail. Similar results are presented for the Compton subprocess with a virtual photon. Contributions of the emission of virtual, soft, and hard real additional photons are explicitly taken into account. The relevant cross sections expressed in terms of impact factors are in agreement with the structure function approach in the leading logarithmic approximation. Contributions of the next-to-leading terms are represented in analytic form. Estimation of accuracy is discussed. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

The formation of density waves and the effect of wall roughness on them are studied using molecular dynamics simulations of gravity-driven granular Poiseuille flow. Three basic types of structures are found in moderately dense flows: a plug, a sinuous wave and a slug; a new varicose wave mode has been identified in dense flows with channels of large widths at moderate dissipations; only clump-like structures appear in dilute flows. The simulation results are contrasted with the predictions of a linear stability analysis of the kinetic-theory continuum equations for granular Poiseuille flow. The theoretical predictions on the form of density waves are in qualitative agreement with simulations in denser flows, however, there are discrepancies between simulation and theory in dilute flows.  相似文献

The positron lifetimes of some compounds with NaCl-type crystal structure are calculated with the method of atomic superposition approximation (ATSUP) based on the theories of local-density-approximation (LDA) and generalgradient-approximation (GGA).The systematical results are fitted to a curve as a function of lattice constants.The positron bulk lifetimes of some other compounds with NaCl-type crystal structure,which are deduced from the systematical results,are in agreement with the experimental results given in other literature.  相似文献

We present some results of a one-dimensional fluid model with a floating electrode immersed in plasma with magnetic field applied at an oblique angle. The model equations are integrated numerically in order to find the space profiles of the ion velocities and electrostatic potential for various strenghts and angles of the magnetic field. We assume a collisionless magnetized pre-sheath with isothermal ions. The results are then compared with the spatial profiles obtained by a computer simulation. We use a BIT1 particle-in-cell code. The simulations input parameters are chosen in the way, that they resemble the fluid model as much as possible. Because the results of the simulation are given in the absolute SI units, they have to be normalized correctly. We evaluate the model results and compare them with the computer simulation results. Special attention is brought on formation of the pre-sheath with magnetic field applied at intermediate angles. The results of the simulation are in good qualitative agreement with the model.  相似文献

The main features of resonance scattering of electrons by molecules are described and resonances are determined on the basis of the theory of collisions in a two-body system, as well as resonances emerging as a result of collisions in a few-body system. Regularities in the emergence of such resonances and their characteristics are analyzed. The results of calculations of these resonant processes occurring during collisions of electrons with diatomic molecules, made on the basis of the quantum theory of scattering in a few-body system, are presented. The results of calculating the cross sections of resonant processes of electron collisions with molecules are compared with the available experimental data and with the results of calculations based on other approximations.  相似文献

In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic stability of a rotating shaft-disk with a transverse crack is studied. The crack and the disk are located in arbitrary positions of the shaft respectively. Using the equivalent line-spring model, the deflections of the system with a crack are constructed by adding a deflection to the deflections of the uncracked system. The unstable regions are confirmed by Runge-Kutta method and the Floquet theory. The effects of crack depth, crack position, disk position, disk thickness and rotating speed on the principal unstable regions are discussed. The elastic behavior of a spherical inclusion with a uniaxial dilatation is considered. As an example, the experimental data on stressed nanoclusters in doped semiconductors (As-Sb clusters in GaAs) are presented. The fields of displacements, elastic strains, and stresses are determined for spherical inclusions with uniaxial dilatation, and the specific features of these fields are revealed. The elastic energy of a uniaxial spheroid is calculated and compared with that for a triaxial spheroid. The relaxation mechanisms for the elastic field of the inclusion associated with the formation of prismatic dislocation loops are considered.  相似文献

The dynamic response of a sensor diaphragm with residual stress in contact with a liquid is theoretically investigated in this paper. The liquid is assumed to be incompressible and inviscid. The acoustic radiation as the main source of energy dissipation in a medium virtually added the mass of the diaphragm and decreased the quality factor of the diaphragm. The effects of the residual stress on the added virtual mass and the quality factor of the diaphragm are presented. Finally, forced oscillations of the sensor diaphragm with residual stress in contact with a liquid are investigated. It is found that the requirements of high sensitivity and large vibration displacement are contradictory. The analysis and results are valuable for conducting the design of circular sensor diaphragms for biological applications.  相似文献

The properties of Nb/??-Si/Nb planar Josephson junctions with various degrees of doping of the amorphous silicon layer are experimentally studied. Tungsten is used as a doping impurity. The properties of the Josephson junctions are shown to change substantially when the degree of doping of the ??-Si layer changes: a current transport mechanism and the shape of the current-voltage characteristic of the junctions change. Josephson junctions with SNS-type conduction are formed in the case of a fully degenerate ??-Si layer. The properties of such junctions are described by a classical resistive model. Josephson junctions with a resonance mechanism of current transport through impurity centers are formed at a lower degree of doping of the ??-Si layer. The high-frequency properties of such junctions are shown to change. The experimental results demonstrate that these junctions are close to SINIS-type Josephson junctions.  相似文献

吸附床由6个吸附单元组成,吸附单元为壳管式换热器,吸附工质对是活性炭-氨。利用多孔介质中流体流动的概念,建立一个吸附单元的数学模型,模拟结果与实验结果显示出很好的一致性。同时得出了吸附床内某种平均温度和平均压力的分布规律。  相似文献
