Infrared multiple photon dissociation spectra for the smallest atmospherically relevant anions of sulfuric and nitric acid allow us to characterize structures and distinguish between clusters with a bisulfate or a nitrate core. We find that bisulfate is the main charge carrier for HSO(4)(-)·H(2)SO(4)·HNO(3) but not for NO(3)(-)·H(2)SO(4)·HNO(3). For the mixed dimer anion, we find evidence for the presence of two isomers: HSO(4)(-)·HNO(3) and NO(3)(-)·H(2)SO(4). Density functional calculations accompany the experimental results and provide support for these observations.  相似文献

Using molecular dynamics configurational sampling combined with ab initio energy calculations, we determined the low energy isomers of the bisulfate hydrates. We calculated the CCSD(T) complete basis set (CBS) binding electronic and Gibbs free energies for 53 low energy isomers of HSO(4)(-)(H(2)O)(n=1-6) and derived the thermodynamics of adding waters sequentially to the bisulfate ion and its hydrates. Comparing the HSO(4)(-)/H(2)O system to the neutral H(2)SO(4)/H(2)O cluster, water binds more strongly to the anion than it does to the neutral molecules. The difference in the binding thermodynamics of HSO(4)(-)/H(2)O and H(2)SO(4)/H(2)O systems decreases with increasing number of waters. The thermodynamics for the formation of HSO(4)(-)(H(2)O)(n=1-5) is favorable at 298.15 K, and that of HSO(4)(-)(H(2)O)(n=1-6) is favorable for T < 273.15 K. The HSO(4)(-) ion is almost always hydrated at temperatures and relative humidity values encountered in the troposphere. Because the bisulfate ion binds more strongly to sulfuric acid than it does to water, it is expected to play a role in ion-induced nucleation by forming a strong complex with sulfuric acid and water, thus facilitating the formation of a critical nucleus.  相似文献

The structures of positively and negatively charged clusters of sulfuric acid with ammonia and/or dimethylamine ((CH(3))(2)NH or DMA) are investigated using a combination of Monte Carlo configuration sampling, semiempirical calculations, and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Positively charged clusters of the formula [(NH(4)(+))(x)(HSO(4)(-))(y)](+), where x = y + 1, are studied for 1 ≤ y ≤ 10. These clusters exhibit strong cation-anion interactions, with no contribution to the hydrogen-bonding network from the bisulfate ion protons. A similar hydrogen-bonding network is found for the [(DMAH(+))(5)(HSO(4)(-))(4)](-) cluster. Negatively charged clusters derived from the reaction of DMA with [(H(2)SO(4))(3)(NH(4)(+))(HSO(4)(-))(2)](-) are also studied, up to the fully reacted cluster [(DMAH(+))(4)(HSO(4)(-))(5)](-). These clusters exhibit anion-anion and ion-molecule interactions in addition to cation-anion interactions. While the hydrogen-bonding network is extensive for both positively and negatively charged clusters, the binding energies of ions and molecules in these clusters are determined mostly by electrostatic interactions. The thermodynamics of amine substitution is explored and compared to experimental thermodynamic and kinetic data. Ammonia binds more strongly than DMA to sulfuric acid due to its greater participation in hydrogen bonding and its ability to form a more compact structure that increases electrostatic attraction between oppositely charged ions. However, the greater gas-phase basicity of DMA is sufficient to overcome the stronger binding of ammonia, making substitution of DMA for ammonia thermodynamically favorable. For small clusters of both polarities, substitutions of surface ammonium ions are facile. As the cluster size increases, an ammonium ion becomes encapsulated in the center of the cluster, making it inaccessible to substitution.  相似文献

The dynamics of adsorption and oxidation of CO on Ru(0001) electrode in sulfuric acid solution have been studied using in situ FTIR spectroscopy under potential control and at open circuit, the latter at 20 and 55 degrees C. The in situ IR data show clearly that the bisulfate anion adsorbs on the Ru(0001) surface over the potential range from -200 mV to 350 mV (vs. Ag/AgCl) at 20 degrees C in the absence and presence of adsorbed CO; however, increasing the temperature to 55 degrees C and/or increasing the concentration of dissolved O(2) reduces the bisulfate adsorption. The formation of surface (hydro-) oxide at higher potentials replaces the bisulfate adsorbates. Both linear (CO(L)) and three-fold hollow bonded CO (CO(H)) adsorbates were produced following CO adsorption at Ru(0001) in H(2)SO(4), as was observed in our previous studies in HClO(4). However, the amount of adsorbed CO observed in H(2)SO(4) was ca. 10% less than that in HClO(4); in addition, the CO(L) and CO(H) frequencies were higher in H(2)SO(4), and the onset potential for CO(ads) oxidation 25 mV lower. These new results are interpreted in terms of a model in which the adsorbed bisulfate weakens the CO adlayer, allowing the active Ru oxide layer to form at lower potentials. Significantly different results were observed at open circuit in H(2)SO(4) compared both to the data under potential control and to our earlier data in HClO(4), and these observations were rationalized in terms of the adsorbed HSO(4)(-) anions (pre-adsorbed at -200 mV) inhibiting the oxidation of the surface at open circuit (after stepping from the initial potential of -200 mV), as the latter was no longer driven by the imposed electrochemical potential but via chemical oxidation by trace dissolved O(2). Results from experiments at open circuit at 55 degrees C and using oxygen-saturated H(2)SO(4) supported this model. The difference in Ru surface chemistry between imposed electrochemical control and chemical control has potential implications with respect to fuel cell electrocatalysis.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The reaction of CH(4) with CO(2) has been performed in anhydrous acids using VO(acac)(2) and K(2)S(2)O(8) as promoters. NMR analysis establishes that the primary product is a mixed anhydride of acetic acid and the acid solvent. In sulfuric acid, the overall reaction is CH(4) + CO(2) + SO(3) --> CH(3)C(O)-O-SO(3)H. Hydrolysis of the mixed anhydride produces acetic acid and the solvent acid. When trifluoroacetic acid is the solvent, acetic acid is primarily formed via the reaction CH(4) + CF(3)COOH --> CH(3)COOH + CHF(3).  相似文献

The factors affecting the success of both visual and potentiometric end-point detection in titration of bisulphite with permanganate in the presence of fluoride are examined. The optimum conditions are 0.02M H(2)SO(4) and 0.24-0.38M NaF. The oxidation product comprises dithionate and sulphate according to the overall reaction MnO(4)(-) + H(+) + 2HF(2)(-) + 3HSO(3)(-) right harpoon over left harpoon MnF(4)(-) + S(2)O(6)(2-) + SO(4)(2-) + 3H(2)O. The reverse titration is also satisfactory, but proceeds quantitatively according to MnO(4)(2-) + 2HF(2)(-) + 2HSO(3)(-) right harpoon over left harpoon MnF(4)(-) + 2SO(4)(2-) + 2H(2)O.  相似文献

The bromocyclopentadienyl complex [(eta5-C5H4Br)Re(CO)3] is converted to racemic [(eta5-C5H4Br)Re(NO)(PPh3)(CH2PPh2)] (1 b) similarly to a published sequence for cyclopentadienyl analogues. Treatment of enantiopure (S)-[(eta5-C5H5)Re(NO)(PPh3)(CH3)] with nBuLi and I2 gives (S)-[(eta5-C5H4I)Re(NO)(PPh3)(CH3)] ((S)-6 c; 84 %), which is converted (Ph3C+ PF6 -, PPh2H, tBuOK) to (S)-[(eta5-C5H4I)Re(NO)(PPh3)(CH2PPh2)] ((S)-1 c). Reactions of 1 b and (S)-1 c with Pd[P(tBu)3]2 yield [{(eta5-C5H4)Re(NO)(PPh3)(mu-CH2PPh2)Pd(mu-X)}2] (10; X = b, Br, rac/meso, 88 %; c, I, S,S, 22 %). Addition of PPh3 to 10 b gives [(eta5-C5H4)Re(NO)(PPh3)(mu-CH2PPh2)Pd(PPh3)(Br)] (11 b; 92 %). Reaction of (S)-[(eta5-C5H5)Re(NO)(PPh3)(CH2PPh2)] ((S)-2) and Pd(OAc)(2) (1.5 equiv; toluene, RT) affords the novel Pd3(OAc)4-based palladacycle (S,S)-[(eta5-C5H4)Re(NO)(PPh3)(mu-CH2PPh2)Pd(mu-OAc)2Pd(mu-OAc)2Pd(mu-PPh2CH2)(Ph3P)(ON)Re(eta5-C5H4)] ((S,S)-13; 71-90 %). Addition of LiCl and LiBr yields (S,S)-10 a,b (73 %), and Na(acac-F6) gives (S)-[(eta5-C5H4)Re(NO)(PPh3)(mu-CH2PPh2)Pd(acac-F6)] ((S)-16, 72 %). Reaction of (S,S)-10 b and pyridine affords (S)-[(eta5-C5H4)Re(NO)(PPh3)(mu-CH2PPh2)Pd(NC5H5)(Br)] ((S)-17 b, 72 %); other Lewis bases yield similar adducts. Reaction of (S)-2 and Pd(OAc)2 (0.5 equiv; benzene, 80 degrees C) gives the spiropalladacycle trans-(S,S)-[{(eta5-C5H4)Re(NO)(PPh3)(mu-CH2PPh2)}2Pd] (39 %). The crystal structures of (S)-6 c, 11 b, (S,S)- and (R,R)-132 C7H8, (S,S)-10 b, and (S)-17 b aid the preceding assignments. Both 10 b (racemic or S,S) and (S)-16 are excellent catalyst precursors for Suzuki and Heck couplings.  相似文献

Facile substitution reactions of the two water ligands in the hydrophilic tetradentate phosphine complex cis-[Fe{(HOCH2)P{CH2N(CH2P(CH2OH)2)CH2}2P(CH2OH)}(H2O)2](SO4) (abbreviated to [Fe(L1)(H2O)2](SO4), 1) take place upon addition of Cl-, NCS-, N3(-), CO3(2-) and CO to give [Fe(L1)X2] (2, X = Cl; 4, X = NCS; 5, X=N3), [Fe(L1)(kappa2-O(2)CO)], 6 and [Fe(L1)(CO)2](SO4), 7. The unsymmetrical mono-substituted intermediates [Fe(L1)(H2O)(CO)](SO(4)) and [Fe(L(1))(CO)(kappa(1)-OSO(3))] (8/9) have been identified spectroscopically en-route to 7. Treatment of 1 with acetic anhydride affords the acylated derivative [Fe{(AcOCH2)P{CH2N(CH2P(CH2OAc)2)CH2}2P(CH2OAc)}(kappa2-O(2)SO2)] (abbreviated to [Fe(L2)(kappa2-O(2)SO2)], 10), which has increased solubility over 1 in both organic solvents and water. Treatment of 1 with glycine does not lead to functionalisation of L1, but substitution of the aqua ligands occurs to form [Fe(L(1))(NH(2)CH(2)CO(2)-kappa(2)N,O)](HSO(4)), 11. Compound 10 reacts with chloride to form [Fe(L(2))Cl(2)] 12, and 12 reacts with CO in the presence of NaBPh4 to form [Fe(L2)Cl(CO)](BPh4) 13b. Both of the chlorides in 12 are substituted on reaction with NCS- and N3(-) to form [Fe(L2)(NCS)2] 14 and [Fe(L2)(N3)2] 15, respectively. Complexes 2.H2O, 4.2H2O, 5.0.812H2O, 6.1.7H2O, 7.H2O, 10.1.3CH3C(O)CH3, 12 and 15.0.5H2O have all been crystallographically characterised.  相似文献

New particle formation in the atmosphere is initiated by nucleation of gas-phase species. The small molecular clusters that act as seeds for new particles are stabilized by the incorporation of an ion. Ion-induced nucleation of molecular cluster ions containing sulfuric acid generates new particles in the background troposphere. The addition of a proton-accepting species to sulfuric acid cluster ions can further stabilize them and may promote nucleation under a wider range of conditions. To understand and accurately predict atmospheric nucleation, the stabilities of each molecular cluster within a chemical family must be known. We present the first comprehensive measurements of the ammonia-sulfuric acid positive ion cluster system NH(4)(+)(NH(3))(n)(H(2)SO(4))(s). Enthalpies and entropies of individual growth steps within this system were measured using either an ion flow reactor-mass spectrometer system under equilibrium conditions or by thermal decomposition of clusters in an ion trap mass spectrometer. Low level ab initio structural calculations provided inputs to a master equation model to determine bond energies from thermal decomposition measurements. Optimized ab initio structures for clusters up through n = 3, s = 3 are reported. Upon addition of ammonia and sulfuric acid pairs, internal proton transfer generates multiple NH(4)(+) and HSO(4)(-) ions within the clusters. These multiple-ion structures are up to 50 kcal mol(-1) more stable than corresponding isomers that retain neutral NH(3) and H(2)SO(4) species. The lowest energy n = s clusters are composed entirely of ions. The addition of acid-base pairs to the core NH(4)(+) ion generates nanocrystals that begin to resemble the ammonium bisulfate bulk crystal starting with the smallest n = s cluster, NH(4)(+)(NH(3))(1)(H(2)SO(4))(1). In the absence of water, this cluster ion system nucleates spontaneously for conditions that encompass most of the free troposphere.  相似文献

<正>Intermolecular geometries and energies of the dimers formed between simple aromatic hydrocarbons(benzene, toluene and naphthalene)and sulfate species(sulfuric acid, bisulfate and sulfate)were studied by density functional theory. The AH:H_2SO_4 complexes were determined by the OH-πH-bond,with H_2SO_4 acting as the H-bond donor and AHs as the acceptor. However, the AHs:HSO_4~-and AHs:SO_4~(2-)complexes were established by the H-bond,with AHs serving as acid and HSO_4~-or SO_4~(2-)as alkali. The atmospheric implications of those complexes were strongly supported by their considerable binding energies.  相似文献

The results of kinetic, deuterium-labeling, and low-temperature NMR studies have established a mechanism for the palladium-catalyzed cyclization/hydrosilylation of dimethyl diallylmalonate (1) with triethylsilane involving rapid, irreversible conversion of the palladium silyl complex [(phen)Pd(SiEt(3))(NCAr)](+) [BAr(4)](-) [Ar = 3,5-C(6)H(3)(CF(3))(2)] (4b) and 1 to the palladium 5-hexenyl chelate complex [(phen)Pd[eta(1),eta(2)-CH(CH(2)SiEt(3))CH(2)C(CO(2)Me)(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2)]](+) [BAr(4)](-) (5), followed by intramolecular carbometalation of 5 to form the palladium cyclopentylmethyl complex trans-[(phen)Pd[CH2CHCH2C(CO2Me)2CH2CHCH2SiEt3](NCAr)]+ [BAr4]- (6), and associative silylation of 6 to release 3 and regenerate 4b.  相似文献

Vanadium(IV or V) complexes with N,O- or O,O-ligands, i.e., [VO{N(CH2CH2O)3}], Ca[V(HIDPA)2] (synthetic amavadine), Ca[V(HIDA)2], or [Bu4N]2[V(HIDA)2] [HIDPA, HIDA = basic form of 2,2'-(hydroxyimino)dipropionic or -diacetic acid, respectively], [VO(CF3SO3)2], Ba[VO(nta)(H2O)]2 (nta = nitrilotriacetate), [VO(ada)(H2O)] (ada = N-2-acetamidoiminodiacetate), [VO(Hheida)(H2O)] (Hheida = 2-hydroxyethyliminodiacetate), [VO(bicine)] [bicine = basic form of N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)glycine], and [VO(dipic)(OCH2CH3)] (dipic = pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate), are catalyst precursors for the efficient single-pot conversion of methane into acetic acid, in trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) under moderate conditions, using peroxodisulfate as oxidant. Effects on the yields and TONs of various factors are reported. TFA acts as a carbonylating agent and CO is an inhibitor for some systems, although for others there is an optimum CO pressure. The most effective catalysts (as amavadine) bear triethanolaminate or (hydroxyimino)dicarboxylates and lead, in a single batch, to CH3COOH yields > 50% (based on CH4) or remarkably high TONs up to 5.6 x 103. The catalyst can remain active upon multiple recycling of its solution. Carboxylation proceeds via free radical mechanisms (CH3* can be trapped by CBrCl3), and theoretical calculations disclose a particularly favorable process involving the sequential formation of CH3*, CH3CO*, and CH3COO* which, upon H-abstraction (from TFA or CH4), yields acetic acid. The CH3COO* radical is formed by oxygenation of CH3CO* by a peroxo-V complex via a V{eta1-OOC(O)CH3} intermediate. Less favorable processes involve the oxidation of CH3CO* by the protonated (hydroperoxo) form of that peroxo-V complex or by peroxodisulfate. The calculations also indicate that (i) peroxodisulfate behaves as a source of sulfate radicals which are methane H-abstractors, as a peroxidative and oxidizing agent for vanadium, and as an oxidizing and coupling agent for CH3CO* and that (ii) TFA is involved in the formation of CH3COOH (by carbonylating CH3*, acting as an H-source to CH3COO*, and enhancing on protonation the oxidizing power of a peroxo-VV complex) and of CF3COOCH3 (minor product in the absence of CO).  相似文献

The complexes [(eta5-RC5H4)Ru(CH3CN)3]PF6(R = H, CH3) react with DCVP (DCVP = Cy2PCH=CH2) at room temperature to produce the phosphaallyl complexes [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(eta1-DCVP)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6 and [(eta5-MeC5H4)Ru(eta1-DCVP)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6. Both compounds react with a variety of two-electron donor ligands displacing the coordinated vinyl moiety. In contrast, we failed to prepare the phosphaallyl complexes [(eta5-C5Me5)Ru(eta1-DCVP)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6, [(eta5-MeC5H4)Ru(CO)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6 and [(eta5-C5Me5)Ru(CO)(eta3-DPVP)]PF6(DPVP = Ph2PCH=CH2).The compounds [(eta5-MeC5H4)Ru(CO)(CH3CN)(DPVP)]PF6 and [(eta5-C5Me5)Ru(CO)(CH3CN)(DPVP)]PF6 react with DMPP (3,4-dimethyl-1-phenylphosphole) to undergo [4 + 2] Diels-Alder cycloaddition reactions at elevated temperature. Attempts at ruthenium catalyzed hydration of phenylacetylene produced neither acetophenone nor phenylacetaldehyde but rather dimers and trimers of phenylacetylene. The structures of the complexes described herein have been deduced from elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy, 1H, 13C{1H}, 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy and in several cases by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Effects of Lewis acid BF3·OEt2, and BrCnsted acids TsOH, CF3COOH, H3PO4, and HCIO4 as cocatalyst respectively on the ligand-free palladium-catalyzed amidocarbonylation were investigated. SO3H-functional ionic liquids 1-methyl-3-(4-sulfonic acid)butylimidazolium hydrosulfate [MIm(CH2)4803H][HSO4] and 1-methyl-3-(4-sulfonic acid)butylimidazolium triflate [MIm(CH2)4SO3H][OTf] were firstly employed as cocatalysts instead of these Lewis acid and Brφnsted acids. By using a ligand-free and weak corrosive catalyst in situ prepared form PdBr2, LiBr.H2O, and [MIm(CH2)4SO3H][OTf], the arnidocarbo- nylation of benzaldehyde, acetamide, and CO could proceed smoothly and afford N-acetyl-α-phenylglycine with yield of 58% in [C6mim]PF6 medium.  相似文献

The electrocatalytic properties of palladium nanocubes towards the electrochemical oxidation of formic acid were studied in H(2)SO(4) and HClO(4) solutions and compared with those of spherical Pd nanoparticles. The spherical and cubic Pd nanoparticles were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The intrinsic electrocatalytic properties of both nanoparticles were shown to be strongly dependent on the amount of metal deposited on the gold substrate. Thus, to properly compare the activity of both systems (spheres and nanocubes), the amount of sample has to be optimized to avoid problems due to a lower diffusion flux of reactants in the internal parts of the catalyst layer resulting in a lower apparent activity. Under the optimized conditions, the activity of the spheres and nanocubes was very similar between 0.1 and 0.35 V. From this potential value, the activity of the Pd nanocubes was remarkably higher. This enhanced electrocatalytic activity was attributed to the prevalence of Pd(100) facets in agreement with previous studies with Pd single crystal electrodes. The effect of HSO(4)(-)/SO(4)(2-) desorption-adsorption was also evaluated. The activity found in HClO(4) was significantly higher than that obtained in H(2)SO(4) in the whole potential range.  相似文献

The reaction of [Os3Rh(mu-H)3(CO)12] with an excess amount of 4-vinylphenol (as hydride acceptor) in refluxing m-xylene, chlorobenzene or benzene yielded the three new clusters [Os5Rh2(mu-CO){eta6-C6H4(CH3)2}(CO)16] 1, [Os5Rh2(mu-CO)(eta6-C6H5Cl)(CO)16] 2 and [Os5Rh2(mu-CO)(eta6-C6H6)(CO)16] 3. The treatment of [Os3Rh(mu-H)3(CO)12] 4 in refluxing toluene with an excess amount of 4-vinylphenol afforded a new complex, [Os4Rh(mu-H)(eta6-C6H5CH3)(CO)12], which was isolated as a brown complex in 20% yield together with two known compounds, [Os5Rh2(eta6-C6H5CH3)(mu-CO)(CO)16] in 10% yield and [Os3Rh4(mu3-eta1:eta1:eta1-C6H5CH3)(CO)13] in 5% yield. Complexes 1-4 were fully characterized by IR, 1H NMR spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy, elemental analysis and X-ray crystallography. The molecular structures of compounds 1-3 are isomorphous, and only differ in the arene-derivatives that attach to the same metal core. Their metal cores can be viewed as a monocapped octahedral, in which an osmium atom caps one of the Os-Os-Os triangular faces of the Os4Rh2 metal framework. Complex 4 has a trigonal-bipyramidal metal core with a C6H5Me ligand that is terminally bound to the Rh atom that lies in the trigonal plane of the metal core. The hydrogenation of [Os5Rh2(eta6-C6H5CH3)(mu-CO)(CO)16] with [Os3(mu-H)2(CO)10] in chloroform under reflux resulted in two hydrogen-rich compounds: [Os7Rh3(mu-H)11(CO)23] 5 and [Os5Rh3Cl(mu-H)8(CO)18] 6, both in moderate yields. The reaction of [Os5Rh2(eta6-C6H5CH3)(mu-CO)(CO)16] with hydrogen in refluxing chloroform yielded a new cluster compound, [Os5Rh(mu-H)5(CO)18] 7, in 20% yield, together with a known osmium-rhodium cluster, [Os6Rh(mu-H)7(mu-CO)(CO)18], as a major compound. Clusters 5, 6, and 7 have been fully characterized by both spectroscopic and crystallographic methods. Additionally, a deuterium-exchange experiment was performed on [Os7Rh3(mu-H)11(CO)23] 5 and [Os5Rh3Cl(mu-H)8(CO)18] 6. Both the compounds proved to be able to exchange the H atom with D in the presence of D2SO4, and the absence of the hydride signal in the 1H NMR spectrum is consistent with this. Therefore, clusters 5 and 6 may serve as appropriate new hydrogen storage models.  相似文献

Pathways for the reaction of ethene with diazomethane to cyclopropane and dinitrogen catalyzed by Pd(0) complexes have been investigated at the B3LYP level of theory. The computed Gibbs free activation energy of 71.7 kJ mol(-1) for the most favorable catalytic cycle is by far lower than previously reported computed barriers for Pd(II)-catalyzed pathways of this reaction and is now in the range of experimental expectations. Pd(eta(2)-C(2)H(4))(2) is predicted to be the resting state of the catalyst and the product of a Pd(OAc)(2) precatalyst reduction. The Pd(0) ethene complex is in equilibrium with Pd(eta(2)-C(2)H(4))(kappaC-CH(2)N(2)), from which N(2) is eliminated in the rate-determining step. The resulting carbene complex (eta(2)-C(2)H(4))Pd=CH(2) reacts without intrinsic barrier with CH(2)N(2) to Pd(eta(2)-C(2)H(4))(2) and N(2) and with ethene to the palladacyclobutane (eta(2)-C(2)H(4))Pd(II)[kappaC(1),kappaC(3)-(CH(2))(3)]. The N(2) elimination from Pd(eta(2)-C(2)H(4))(2)(kappaC-CH(2)N(2)) to (eta(2)-C(2)H(4))(2)Pd=CH(2) leads to an overall Gibbs free activation energy of 84.2 kJ mol(-1). The intramolecular rearrangement of (eta(2)-C(2)H(4))(2)Pd=CH(2) to the palladacyclobutane (eta(2)-C(2)H(4))Pd(II)[kappaC(1),kappaC(3)-(CH(2))(3)] and the subsequent reductive elimination of cyclopropane are facile. At the BP86 level of theory, Pd(0) preferentially coordinates three ligands. Pd(eta(2)-C(2)H(4))(3) is predicted to be the resting state, and the N(2) elimination from the model complex Pd(eta(2)-C(2)H(4))(2)(kappaC-CH(2)N(2)) is the rate-determining transition state leading to an overall Gibbs free activation energy of 69.4 kJ mol(-1).  相似文献

Addition of isonicotinic acid NC(5)H(4)CO(2)H (or isonicH) to [Pt(dppf)(MeCN)(2)](2+)2OTf(-)(dppf = 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene, OTf = triflate) affords a mixture of the homometallic molecular square [Pt(4)(dppf)(4)(mu-O(2)CC(5)H(4)N)(4)](4+)4OTf(-), 1 and its precursor intermediate [Pt(dppf)(eta(1)-NC(5)H(4)CO(2)H)(2)](2+)2OTf(-), 2. The latter captures [Pd(dppf)(MeCN)(2)](2+)2OTf(-) to give a heterometallic square, [Pt(2)Pd(2)(dppf)(4)(mu-O(2)CC(5)H(4)N)(4)](4+)4OTf(-), 3. Slight skeletal modification of the ligand leads to different assemblies. This is illustrated by the addition of NC(5)H(4)CH(2)CO(2)H.HCl to [Pt(dppf)(MeCN)(2)](2+)2OTf(-) to give [PtCl(dppf)(NC(5)H(4)CH(2)CO(2)H)](+)OTf(-), 4, which reacts with another equivalent of AgOTf to yield the dibridged complex [Pt(2)(dppf)(2)(mu-NC(5)H(4)CH(2)CO(2))(2)](2+)2OTf(-), 5. All complexes, with the exception of , have been structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. Complexes 2 and 4 are potential precursors to further molecular topologies.  相似文献

A series of experiments in the UO(2)(CH(3)CO(2))(2).2H(2)O/H(2)SO(4)/1-(2-aminoethyl)piperazine/H(2)O system were conducted to determine the effects of variation in initial reactant concentrations on the reaction products. Several reaction gels were produced, in which the composition varied from 16:80:4:500 UO(2)(CH(3)CO(2))(2).2H(2)O/H(2)SO(4)/1-(2-aminoethyl)piperazine/H(2)O to 4:92:4:500 UO(2)(CH(3)CO(2))(2).2H(2)O/H(2)SO(4)/1-(2-aminoethyl)piperazine/H(2)O. Single crystals of two new organically templated uranium sulfates, [N(3)C(6)H(18)](2)[(UO(2))(5)(H(2)O)(SO(4))(8)].5H(2)O and [N(3)C(6)H(18)][(UO(2))(2)(H(2)O)(SO(4))(3)(HSO(4))].4.5H(2)O, were isolated. Both compounds exhibit structures in which the inorganic frameworks are two-dimensional and the protonated amines reside between layers, participating in extensive hydrogen bonding. The composition and structure of each compound is dependent on the nature of the starting concentrations. Crystal data: for [N(3)C(6)H(18)](2)[(UO(2))(5)(H(2)O)(SO(4))(8)].5H(2)O, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n (No. 14), a = 21.5597(3) A, b = 10.2901(2) A, c = 22.8403(3) A, beta = 96.7436(7) degrees, and Z = 4; for [N(3)C(6)H(18)][(UO(2))(2)(H(2)O)(SO(4))(3)(HSO(4))].4.5H(2)O, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/a (No. 14), a = 15.7673(4) A, b = 10.5813(3) A, c = 16.7710(5) A, beta = 99.9216(9) degrees, and Z = 4.  相似文献

Azide complexes [M(RN(3))(CO)(3)P(2)]BPh(4)[M = Mn, Re; R = C(6)H(5)CH(2), 4-CH(3)C(6)H(4)CH(2), C(6)H(5), 4-CH(3)C(6)H(4), C(5)H(9); P = PPh(OEt)(2), PPh(2)(OEt)] were prepared by allowing tricarbonyl MH(CO)(3)P(2) hydride complexes to react first with Br?nsted acid (HBF(4), CF(3)SO(3)H) and then with organic azide in the dark. In sunlight the reaction yielded tetraazabutadiene [M(eta(2)-1,4-R(2)N(4))(CO)(2)P(2)]BPh(4) complexes or, with benzyl azide, imine [M{eta(1)-NH[double bond, length as m-dash]C(H)Ar}(CO)(3)P(2)]BPh(4)(Ar = C(6)H(5), 4-CH(3)C(6)H(4)) derivatives. Tetraazabutadiene [M(eta(2)-1,4-R(2)N(4))(CO)(2)P(2)]BPh(4) complexes were also prepared by reacting dicarbonyl MH(CO)(2)P(3) species first with Br?nsted acid and then with an excess of organic azide. Complexes were characterised spectroscopically (IR, (1)H, (31)P, (13)C, (15)N NMR data) and by the X-ray crystal structure determination of complex [Re{eta(2)-1,4-(C(6)H(5)CH(2))(2)N(4)}(CO)(2){PPh(OEt)(2)}(2)]BPh(4)(). Strong evidence for coordination of the organic azide was obtained from the (15)N NMR spectra of labelled [M(C(6)H(5)CH(2)(15)NN(15)N)(CO)(3)P(2)]BPh(4) derivatives.  相似文献
