New cyclometalated Pt(II) complexes bearing 1,2-phenylenediamine (pda) derivatives were synthesized and their chemical and electrochemical properties were investigated. Two Pt complexes, [Pt(bzqn) (pda)](PF6) (bzqn = benzo[h]quinoline, [1](PF6): pda = 1,2-phenylenediamine, [2](PF6): pda = 4,5-dimethyl-1,2-phenylenediamine), were synthesized by the reaction of (Bu4N)[PtCl2(bzqn)] with corresponding pda derivatives. The Pt-pda complexes were converted to Pt-bda (bda = 1,2-benzenediamide) complexes by treatment of 2 mol equiv of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU), and they showed two-step reversible redox couples in cyclic voltammetry. The cyclometalated ligand gave a strong electronic effect to the bda ligand to take place the negative shift of the bda-based redox potentials.  相似文献

A comprehensive photophysical investigation has been carried out on a series of eight complexes of the type (diimine)Pt(-C=C-Ar)(2), where diimine is a series of 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) ligands and -C=C-Ar is a series of substituted aryl acetylide ligands. In one series of complexes, the energy of the Pt --> bpy metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) excited state is varied by changing the substituents on the 4,4'- and/or the 5,5'-positions of the bpy ligand. In a second series of complexes the electronic demand of the aryl acetylide ligand is varied by changing the para substituent (X) on the aryl ring (X = -CF(3), -CH(3), -OCH(3), and -N(CH(3))(2)). The effect of variation of the substituents on the excited states of the complexes has been assessed by examining their UV-visible absorption, variable-temperature photoluminescence, transient absorption, and time-resolved infrared spectroscopy. In addition, the nonradiative decay rates of the series of complexes are subjected to a quantitative energy gap law analysis. The results of this study reveal that in most cases the photophysics of the complexes is dominated by the energetically low lying Pt --> bpy (3)MLCT state. Some of the complexes also feature a low-lying intraligand (IL) (3)pi,pi excited state that is derived from transitions between pi- and pi-type orbitals localized largely on the aryl acetylide ligands. The involvement of the IL (3)pi,pi state in the photophysics of some of the complexes is signaled by unusual features in the transient absorption, time-resolved infrared, and photoluminescence spectra and in the excited-state decay kinetics. The time-resolved infrared difference spectroscopy indicates that Pt --> bpy MLCT excitation induces a +25 to + 35 cm(-)(1) shift in the frequency of the C=C stretching band. This is the first study to report the effect of MLCT excitation on the vibrational frequency of an acetylide ligand.  相似文献

The synthesis, structural characterization, and photoluminescence properties of a new platinum(II) diimine complex bearing the bidentate diacetylide ligand tolan-2,2'-diacetylide (tda), Pt(dbbpy)(tda) [dbbpy = 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine], are described. In CH2Cl2, Pt(dbbpy)(tda) exhibits a strong visible charge-transfer absorption and broad emission centered at 562 nm. The photoluminescence quantum yield and excited-state lifetime are 0.52 and 2.56 mus, respectively, at room temperature. These parameters indicate that the planarization and rigidity introduced by the cyclic diacetylide leads to a lower-energy-absorbing species displaying enhanced photophysics relative to the analogous Pt(dbbpy)(CCPh)2. Time-dependent density functional theory calculations, which include solvation by CH2Cl2 via the polarizable continuum model, are used to reveal the nature of the excited states in these molecules that are responsible for the charge-transfer transitions. The 77 K emission spectra of the two compounds in EtOH/MeOH glasses are compared, uncovering tda-based ligand-localized phosphorescence in the title compound.  相似文献

A series of platinum(II) complexes bearing tridentate cyclometalated C^N^N (C^N^N=6-phenyl-2,2'-bipyridine and π-extended R-C^N^N=3-[6'-(naphthalen-2'-yl)pyridin-2'-yl]isoquinoline) ligands with fluorene units have been synthesised and their photophysical properties have been studied. The fluorene units are incorporated into the cyclometalated ligands by a Suzuki coupling reaction. An increase in the π-conjugation of the cyclometalated ligands confers favourable photophysical properties compared to the 6-phenyl-2,2'-bipyridine analogues. The fluorene-based platinum(II) complexes display vibronic-structured emission bands with λ(max)=558-601 nm, and high emission quantum yields up to 0.76 in degassed dichloromethane. Their emissions are tentatively assigned to excited states with mixed (3)IL/(3)MLCT parentage (IL=intraligand, MLCT=metal-to-ligand charge transfer). The crystal structures of these platinum(II) complexes reveal extensive Pt(II)···π and/or π-π interactions. The fluorene-based platinum(II) complexes are soluble in organic solvents, have high thermal stability with decomposition temperature >350 °C, and can be thermally vacuum-sublimed or solution-processed as phosphorescent dopants for the fabrication of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). A monochromic OLED with 3d as dopant (2 wt%) fabricated by vacuum deposition gave a current efficiency of 14.7 cd A(-1) and maximum brightness of 27000 cd m(-2). A high current efficiency (9.2 cd A(-1)) has been achieved in a solution-processed OLED using complex 3f (5 wt%) doped in a PVK (poly(9-vinylcarbazole)) host.  相似文献

Reaction of cyclometalated platinum(II) precursor [Pt(C^N)Cl(dmso)], 1, C^N = N(1), C(2′)-chelated deprotonated 2-phenylpyridine and dmso = dimethylsulfoxide, with 1 equivalent of triphenyl phosphine, PPh3, or 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane, PTA, gave the complex [Pt(C^N)Cl(PPh3)], 2, or [Pt(C^N)Cl(PTA)], 3, respectively. On the basis of careful multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, supported by a number of 2D NMR experiments, structures of the complexes 2 and 3 in solution were determined to be neutral four coordinate. The X-ray crystallography indicated that the solid-state structure of complex 3 comprised a common square-planar geometry around platinum(II). Cytotoxicity of the complexes 2 and 3 was studied in three human cancer cell lines derived from ovarian carcinoma (CH1), lung carcinoma (A549), and colon carcinoma (SW480).  相似文献

Absorption and emission spectra of Pt(diimine)L2 complexes (diimine = 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) or 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dmbpy); L = pyrazolate (pz-), 3,5-dimethylpyrazolate (dmpz-), or 3,4,5-trimethylpyrazolate (tmpz-)) have been measured. Solvent-sensitive absorption bands (370-440 nm) are attributed to spin-allowed metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (1MLCT) transitions. As solids and in 77 K glassy solution, Pt(bpy)(pz)2 and Pt(dmbpy)(pz)2 exhibit highly structured emission systems (lambda max approximately 494 nm) similar to those of the diprotonated forms of these complexes. The highly structured bands (spacings 1000-1400 cm-1) indicate that the transition originates in a diimine-centered 3(pi-->pi*) (3LL) excited state. The intense solid-state and 77 K glassy solution emissions from 3MLCT[d(Pt)-->pi*(bpy)] excited states of complexes with dmpz- and tmpz- ligands occur at longer wavelengths (lambda max = 500-610 nm), with much broader vibronic structure. These findings are consistent with increasing electron donation of the pyrazolate ligands, leading to a distinct crossover from a lowest 3LL to a 3MLCT excited state.  相似文献

We wish to report the synthesis, crystal structures, spectroscopic and electrochemical properties of several new Pt(II) heteroleptic complexes containing the thiacrown, 9S3 (1,4,7-trithiacyclononane) with a series of substituted phenanthroline ligands and related diimine systems. These five ligands are 5,6-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline(5,6-Me2-phen), 4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline(4,7-Me2-phen), 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline(4,7-Ph2-phen), 2,2′-bipyrimidine(bpm), and pyrazino[2,3-f]quinoxaline or 1,4,5,8-tetraazaphenanthrene(tap). All complexes have the general formula [Pt(9S3)(N2)](PF6)2 (N2 = diimine ligand) and form similar structures in which the Pt(II) center is surrounded by a cis arrangement of the two N donors from the diimine chelate and two sulfur atoms from the 9S3 ligand. The third 9S3 sulfur in each structure forms a longer interaction with the platinum resulting in an elongated square pyramidal structure, and this distance is sensitive to the identity of the diimine ligand. In addition, we report the synthesis, structural, electrochemical, and spectroscopic properties of related Pd(II) 9S3 complex with tap. The 195Pt NMR chemical shifts for the six Pt(II) complexes show a value near −3290 ppm, consistent with a cis-PtS2N2 coordination sphere although more electron-withdrawing ligands such as tap show resonances shifted by almost 100 ppm downfield. The physicochemical properties of the complexes generally follow the electron-donating or withdrawing properties of the phenanthroline substituents.  相似文献

New Pt(II) dichloride complexes [Pt(1-iqdzH)Cl2] (2a) and [Pt(3-iqdzH)Cl2] (2b), in which idqzH = 1- or 3-isoquinolinyl indazole, were prepared by treatment of the corresponding indazoles with K2PtCl4 in aqueous HCl solution. Despite their nonemissive nature, these complexes could react with excess indazole, sodium picolinate, and 3-trifluoromethyl-5-(2-pyridyl) pyrazole [(fppz)H] to afford the respective a and b series of luminescent complexes [Pt(1-iqdz)(L/\X)] and [Pt(3-iqdz)(L/\X)], where L/\X = 1-iqdz (1a), 3-iqdz (1b), pic (3a, 3b), and fppz (4a, 4b). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies of 1b, 2a, and 3b revealed a planar molecular geometry without notable intermolecular Pt...Pt contact in the solid crystal, a result of the steric repulsion imposed by the bulky indazole fragments. For coordination complexes 1, 3, and 4, photoluminescence in degassed CH2Cl2 revealed high quantum efficiency and short radiative lifetimes in the range of several microseconds. As supported by the spectral feature, the associated radiation lifetimes, and a computational approach based on time-dependent density function theory (TD-DFT), the origin of the emission is attributed to a mixed 3MLCT/3pipi transition. The TD-DFT approach further confirmed that, except for the series 1 complexes, the HOMO of 3-iqdz complexes 3b and 4b is much less located at the central Pt(II) atom than the HOMO orbitals of the respective 1-iqdz complexes 3a and 4a, leading to a smaller degree of MLCT contribution. Consequently, there are a blue-shifted emission signal and an inferior emission quantum yield for the 3-iqdz derivatives. OLED devices with a multilayer configuration of ITO/NPB/CBP:3a/BCP/Alq3/LiF/Al were fabricated using a CBP layer doped with various concentrations of 3a, ranging from 6% to 100%, within the emitting layer. The best device performance was realized using a 6% doping concentration, for which the external quantum yield of 4.93%, luminous efficiency of 12.19 cd/A, and power efficiency of 6.12 lm W-1 were observed at 20 mA/cm2, while a maximum luminescence as high as 20296 cd/m2 was also realized at 16 V, showing good prospect for the fabrication of Pt(II) based OLEDs.  相似文献

The ultrafast excited-state dynamics of three structurally related platinum(II) complexes has been investigated using femtosecond transient absorption spectrometry in 2-methyltetrahydrofuran (MTHF). Previous work has shown that Pt(dbbpy)(C[triple bond]C-Ph)2 (dbbpy is 4,4'-di(tert-butyl)-2,2'-bipyridine and C[triple bond]C-Ph is ethynylbenzene) has a lowest metal-to-ligand charge transfer (3MLCT) excited state, while the multichromophoric Pt(dbbpy)(C[triple bond]C-pyrene)2 (CC-pyrene is 1-ethynylpyrene) contains the MLCT state, but possesses a lowest intraligand (3IL) excited state localized on one of the CC-pyrenyl units (Pomestchenko, I. E.; Luman, C. R.; Hissler, M.; Ziessel, R.; Castellano, F. N. Inorg. Chem. 2003, 42, 1394-96). trans-Pt(PBu3)2(C[triple bond]C-pyrene)2 serves as a model system that provides a good representation of the CC-pyrene-localized 3IL state in a Pt(II) complex lacking the MLCT excited state. Following 400 nm excitation, the formation of the 3MLCT excited state in Pt(dbbpy)(C[triple bond]C-Ph)2 is complete within 200 +/- 40 fs, and intersystem crossing to the 3IL excited state in trans-Pt(PBu3)2(C[triple bond]C-pyrene)2 occurs with a time constant of 5.4 +/- 0.2 ps. Selective excitation into the low-energy MLCT bands in Pt(dbbpy)(C[triple bond]C-pyrene)2 (lambda(ex) = 480 nm) leads to the formation of the 3IL excited state in 240 +/- 40 fs, suggesting ultrafast wire-like energy migration in this molecule. The kinetic data suggest that the presence of the MLCT states in Pt(dbbpy)(C[triple bond]C-pyrene)2 markedly accelerates the formation of the triplet state of the pendant pyrenylacetylide ligand. In essence, the triplet sensitization process is kinetically faster than pure intersystem crossing in trans-Pt(PBu3)2(CC-pyrene)2 as well as vibrational relaxation in the MLCT excited state of Pt(dbbpy)(C[triple bond]C-Ph)2. These results are potentially important for the design of chromophores intended to reach their lowest excited state on subpicosecond time scales and advocate the likelihood of wire-like behavior in triplet-triplet energy transfer.  相似文献

Several new symmetrical aromatic hydrocarbon bridged bipyridine ligands and their binuclear Ru (II) complexes have been designed, synthesized and characterized on the basis of 1H NMR, MS and HRMS. Their absorption and emission properties, electrochemical behaviors and electrochemical luminescence were investigated. All ruthenium complexes show characteristic MLCT absorption and similar redox potential. Among the three complexes reported, 4c has the best electrochemical luminescence property.  相似文献

The compounds [Pt(MesBIAN)(C[triple bond]CR)2] (R = C6H4-CN-p, 1; SiMe3, 2; C6H4-CF3-p, 3; C6H5, 4; C6H4-CH3-p 5) {MesBIAN = bis(mesitylimino)acenaphthene} have been synthesized; the X-ray crystal structure determinations of 4 and 5 and the starting material [Pt(MesBIAN)Cl2] are reported. Chemical oxidation of 4 with diiodine leads to generation of an intermediate platinum(IV) bis(acetylide) diiodide complex, which then couples and reductively eliminates the acetylide ligands as a diyne, leading to the generation of [Pt(MesBIAN)I2] 6. Compound 2 readily forms an adduct 2a with copper(I) chloride, in which the copper atom is bonded to the two acetylide triple bonds. 1-5 each undergo an irreversible oxidation, and a reversible one-electron reduction to generate a stable anion. ESR studies of 1(-)-5(-) show that the unpaired electron is localized mainly on the pi* orbital of the coordinated MesBIAN ligand, with about 10% platinum contribution to the singly occupied molecular orbital (SOMO). The compounds show a strong absorption at around 500 nm in the UV/visible spectrum, which is assigned to a "mixed metal-ligand to ligand charge transfer" (MMLL'CT) transition; this assignment is supported by time-dependent density-functional theory (TD-DFT) calculations on 5. 1-5 emit in the near-infrared region from a (3)MMLL'CT excited state, with lifetimes ranging from 8 to 36 ns. Picosecond and nanosecond time-resolved infrared (TRIR) spectroscopy has been used to probe directly the nature and dynamics of the excited state of 5. The TRIR data show a decrease of the energy of the C[triple bond]C vibration upon excitation, by about 90 cm(-1) in comparison to the ground state, and formation of a new, very intense, and very broad band at 1820 cm(-1). We propose that the excited-state structure contains some contribution from a pseudo-cumulenic form of the platinum-acetylide moiety, which is supported by TD-DFT calculations. Picosecond TRIR allowed determination of the rate of vibrational relaxation (14 ps) of the vibrationally "hot" electronic excited state of 5 formed upon initial laser excitation.  相似文献

Several dendritic bridging ligands were designed and synthesized to develop more sensitive and efficient electrochemiluminescent (ECL) polynuclear Ru(II) complexes. Various types of novel two-armed, four-armed and six-armed tris(bipyridyl)ruthenium core dendrimers were synthesized by coordinating dendritic polybipyridyl ligands with Ru(II) complexes, and the effect of the ligand and the dendritic network on the ECL characteristics were studied. Their electrochemical redox potentials, UV, photoluminescence (PL), and relative ECL intensities were also investigated in detail. The synthesized metallodendrimers exhibited strong metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) absorption at 428-451 nm and emission at 591-601 nm. Most of the newly synthesized metallodendrimers showed enhanced ECL intensities compared to the reference complex, [Ru(o-phen)3](PF6)2. In particular, the ECL intensities of the six-armed heptanuclear ruthenium complexes were almost four times greater than that of [Ru(o-phen)3]2+. These metallodendrimers could be utilized as efficient ECL materials and light emitting devices.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of six ruthenium(II) bistridentate polypyridyl complexes is described. These were designed on the basis of a new approach to increase the excited-state lifetime of ruthenium(II) bisterpyridine-type complexes. By the use of a bipyridylpyridyl methane ligand in place of terpyridine, the coordination environment of the metal ion becomes nearly octahedral and the rate of deactivation via ligand-field (i.e., metal-centered) states was reduced as shown by temperature-dependent emission lifetime studies. Still, the possibility to make quasi-linear donor-ruthenium-acceptor triads is maintained in the complexes. The most promising complex shows an excited-state lifetime of tau = 15 ns in alcohol solutions at room temperature, which should be compared to a lifetime of tau = 0.25 ns for [Ru(tpy)2]2+. The X-ray structure of the new complex indeed shows a more octahedral geometry than that of [Ru(tpy)2]2+. Most importantly, the high excited-state energy was retained, and thus, so was the potential high reactivity of the excited complex, which has not been the case with previously published strategies based on bistridentate complexes.  相似文献

The structural geometry, electronic structure, photophysical properties, and the fluxional behavior of a series of A-frame diplatinum alkynyl complexes, [Pt(2)(μ-dppm)(2)(μ-C≡CR)(C≡CR)(2)](+) [R = (t)Bu (1), C(6)H(5) (2), C(6)H(4)Ph-p (3), C(6)H(4)Et-p (4), C(6)H(4)OMe-p (5); dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane], have been studied by density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent TD-DFT associated with conductor-like polarizable continuum model (CPCM) calculations. The results show that the Pt···Pt distance strongly depends on the binding mode of the alkynyl ligands. A significantly shorter Pt···Pt distance is found in the symmetrical form, in which the bridging alkynyl ligand is σ-bound to the two metal centers, than in the unsymmetrical form where the alkynyl ligand is σ-bound to one metal and π-bound to another. For the two structural forms in 1-5, both the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energy levels show a dependence on the nature of the substituents attached to the alkynyl ligand. The energies of the HOMO and LUMO are found to increase and decrease, respectively, from R = (t)Bu to R = Ph and to R = C(6)H(4)Ph-p, because of the increase of the π- conjugation of the alkynyl ligand. On the basis of the TDDFT/CPCM calculations, the low-energy absorption band consists of two types of transitions, which are ligand-to-ligand charge-transfer (LLCT) [π(alkynyl) → σ*(dppm)]/metal-centered MC [dσ*(Pt(2)) → pσ(Pt(2))] transitions as well as interligand π → π* transition from the terminal alkynyl ligands to the bridging alkynyl ligand mixed with metal-metal-to-ligand charge transfer MMLCT [dσ*(Pt(2)) → π*(bridging alkynyl)] transition. The latter transition is lower in energy than the former. The calculation also indicates that the emission for the complexes originates from the triplet interligand π(terminal alkynyls) → π*(bridging alkynyl)/MMLCT [dσ*(Pt(2)) → π*(bridging alkynyl)] excited state. In terms of the fluxional behavior, calculations have been performed to study the details of the mechanisms for the three fluxional processes, which are the σ,π-alkynyl exchange, the ring-flipping, and the bridging-to-terminal alkynyl exchange processes.  相似文献

Phenyl-2,6-bis(oxazole) ligands have been explored for the synthesis of novel palladium(II) and platinum(II) pincer complexes. The materials were characterized by spectroscopic methods and by X-ray crystallography. Investigations of the photophysical properties revealed that the lowest triplet states of the materials are largely centred at the bis(oxazole) ligands. The platinum(II) compounds are moderately emissive in fluid solution at ambient temperature. Introduction of both strong donors and strong acceptors leads to a significant red shift of the emission. Due to the facile synthesis of bis(oxazole) based complexes with electronically tuneable oxazole moieties, these materials might be promising alternatives to the well-established phenyl-2,6-bipyridyl systems.  相似文献

Square-planar Pt(II) complexes of the bis(mesitylimino)acenaphthene (mesBIAN) ligand are emissive from a MMLL'CT excited state in a dichloromethane solution at room temperature. Investigation of the nature of the frontier orbitals in these near-IR emitters by a combination of emission spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy, and density functional theory calculations suggests that emission is enabled by the presence of low-lying ligand pi* orbitals on the mesBIAN.  相似文献

Abstract

Two novel building blocks M1, M2 with different electronic structures, were synthesized based on 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine modified with cyano-p-phenylenevinylene (CN-PV) and carbazole moieties through Knoevenagel condensation and Suzuki coupling, respectively. Directed by transition metal ion Zn2+, the metallo-homopolymers P1, P2 and metallo-copolymer P3 were obtained via self-assembly polymerization. The structures of the monomers and metallo-supramolecular polymers were fully characterized by MS, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. Meanwhile, the UV–vis absorption, photoluminescence (PL) and electrochemical properties of these compounds were systematically investigated. With respect to that of the monomers, both the UV–vis absorption and PL spectra of the polymers are significantly red-shifted. The resulting metallo-supramolecular polymers show similar double absorption peaks (342, 418?nm for P1, 339, 410?nm for P2, and 332, 412?nm for P3), which is caused by the π–π* transition and intramolecular charge transfer (ICT). Further, all the polymers display red-orange emission in toluene and narrow electrochemical energy gaps of 1.46, 1.65 and 1.48?eV for P1, P2, and P3, respectively.  相似文献

We report the synthesis, characterization, and photophysical and electrochemical properties of a series of luminescent rhenium(I) diimine indole complexes, [Re(N-N)(CO)3(L)](CF3SO3) (N-N = 3,4,7,8-tetramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Me4-phen), L = N-(3-pyridoyl)tryptamine (py-3-CONHC2H4-indole) (1a), N-[N-(3-pyridoyl)-6-aminohexanoyl]tryptamine, (py-3-CONHC5H10CONHC2H4-indole) (1b); N-N = 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), L = py-3-CONHC2H4-indole (2a), py-3-CONHC5H10CONHC2H4-indole (2b); N-N = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Me2-phen), L = py-3-CONHC2H4-indole (3a), py-3-CONHC5H10CONHC2H4-indole (3b); N-N = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Ph2-phen), L = py-3-CONHC2H4-indole (4a), py-3-CONHC5H10CONHC2H4-indole (4b)), and their indole-free counterparts, [Re(N-N)(CO)3(py-3-CONH-Et)](CF3SO3) (py-3-CONH-Et = N-ethyl-(3-pyridyl)formamide; N-N = Me4-phen (1c), phen (2c), Me2-phen (3c), Ph2-phen (4c)). The X-ray crystal structure of complex 3a has also been investigated. Upon irradiation, most of the complexes exhibited triplet metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (3MLCT) (d pi(Re) --> pi*(diimine)) emission in fluid solutions at 298 K and in low-temperature glass. However, the structural features and long emission lifetimes of the Me4-phen complexes in solutions at room temperature suggest that the excited state of these complexes exhibited substantial triplet intraligand (3IL) (pi --> pi*) (Me4-phen) character. The binding interactions of these complexes to indole-binding proteins including bovine serum albumin and tryptophanase have been examined.  相似文献

The photophysical behaviors of the two complexes were investigated by UV–vis absorption and emission spectroscopy. They display metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) absorptions at around 443 nm in MeCN solution at room temperature and emission at around 573 nm in EtOH:MeOH (4:1) glassy matrix at 77 K. Electrochemical studies of the two complexes show one Ru(II)-centered oxidation at around 1.35 V and three ligand-centered reductions.  相似文献

Monometallic and bimetallic diimine complexes of rhenium(I) and osmium(II), [(CO)3(bpy)Re(4,4′-bpy)](PF6) I, [(CO)3(bpy)Re(4,4′-bpy)Re(bpy)(CO)3](PF6)2II, [Cl(bpy)2Os(4,4′-bpy)](PF6) III and [Cl(bpy)2Os(4,4′-bpy)Os(bpy)2Cl](PF6)2IV, and a new heterobimetallic complex of rhenium(I) and osmium(II) [(CO)3(bpy)Re(4,4′-bpy)Os(bpy)Cl](PF6)2V (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine; 4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by various spectral techniques. The photophysical properties of all the complexes have been studied and a comparison is made between the heterobimetallic and corresponding monometallic and homobimetallic complexes. Emission and transient absorption spectral studies reveal that excited state energy transfer from the rhenium(I) chromophore (∗Re) to osmium(II) takes place. The energy transfer rate constant is found to be 8.7 × 107 s−1.  相似文献
