The reaction of the trivacant Dawson anion alpha-[P(2)W(15)O(56)](12-) and the divalent cations Co(2+) is known to form the tetracobalt sandwich complex [Co(4)(H(2)O)(2)(P(2)W(15)O(56))(2)](16-) (Co(4)P(4)W(30)). Two new complexes, with different Co/P(2)W(15) stoichiometry, [(NaOH(2))(2)Co(2)(P(2)W(15)O(56))(2)](18-) (Na(2)Co(2)P(4)W(30)) and [(NaOH(2))Co(3)(H(2)O)(P(2)W(15)O(56))(2)](17-) (NaCo(3)P(4)W(30)), have been synthesized as aqueous-soluble sodium salts, by a slight modification of the reaction conditions. Both compounds were characterized by IR, elemental analysis, and (31)P solution NMR spectroscopy. These species are "lacunary" sandwich complexes, which add Co(2+) cations according to Na(2)Co(2)P(4)W(30) + Co(2+) --> NaCo(3)P(4)W(30) + Na(+) followed by NaCo(3)P(4)W(30) + Co(2+) --> Co(4)P(4)W(30) + Na(+). A Li(+)/Na(+) exchange in the cavity was evidenced by (31)P dynamic NMR spectroscopy. The electrochemical behaviors of the sandwich complexes [(NaOH(2))Co(3)(H(2)O)(P(2)W(15)O(56))(2)](17-) and [(NaOH(2))(2)Co(2)(P(2)W(15)O(56))(2)](18-) were investigated in aqueous solutions and compared with that of [Co(4)(H(2)O)(2)(P(2)W(15)O(56))(2)](16-). The magnetic exchange interactions in a C0(3)(11) moiety encapsulated in Na(17) [(NaOH(2))Co(3)(H(2)O)(P(2)W(15)O(56))(2)] (NaCo(3)) were studied by a combination of magnetic measurements (magnetic susceptibility and low-temperature magnetization), with a detailed Inelastic Neutron Scattering (INS) investigation. The novel structure of the salt was determined by X-ray crystallography. The ferromagnetic Co(3)O(14) triangular cluster core consists of three octahedrally oxo-coordinated Co(II) ions sharing edges. According to the single-ion anisotropy and spin-orbit coupling usually assumed for octahedral Co(II) ions, the appropiate exchange Hamiltonian to describe the ground-state properties of the isosceles triangular Co(3) spin cluster is anisotropic and is expressed as H = - 2sigma(alpha)(=)(x,y,z)(J(alpha)(12)S(1alpha)S(2alpha) + J(alpha)(23)S(2alpha)S(3alpha) + J(alpha)(13)S(1alpha)S(3alpha)), where J(alpha) are the components of the exchange interactions between the Co(II) ions. To reproduce the INS data, nonparallel anisotropic exchange tensors needed to be introduced, which were directly connected to the molecular symmetry of the complex. The following range of parameters (value +/- 0.5 cm(-1)) was found to reproduce all experimental information while taking magnetostructural relations into account: J(x)(12) = J(y)(13) = 8.6 cm(-1); J(y)(12) = J(x)(13) = 1.4 cm(-1); J(z)(12) = J(z)(13) = 10.0 cm(-1); J(x)(23) = J(y)(23) = 6.5 cm(-1) and = 3.4 cm(-1).  相似文献

Two new mixed-metal sandwich complexes [M(II)2(H2O)2Fe(III)2(P2W15O56)2]14- (abbreviated [M2Fe2P4W30], M(II) = Co(II), Mn(II)) were obtained at pH 3 by addition of M2+ to [Na2(H2O)2Fe(III)2(P2W15O56)2]16- (abbreviated [Na2Fe2P4W30]) without substitution in the alpha-[P2W15O56]12- (abbreviated [P2W15]) units. Their X-ray structures are reported. At lower pH, back conversion to [Na2Fe2P4W30] was followed by 31P NMR, electrochemistry and UV-visible spectroscopy. The preparation and the characterization in solution of the lacunary intermediate [NaCo(II)(H2O)2Fe(III)2(P2W15O56)2]15- (abbreviated [NaCoFe2P4W30]) is also described.  相似文献

Herein we report two structurally intriguing Co(ii)-substituted polyoxometalates, a {Co(9)[P(2)W(15)](3)} and {Co(14)[P(2)W(15)](4)} (compounds 1 and 2) that are formed from the same building blocks under subtly different conditions. Compound 1 displays a structure previously predicted but never before realised, whilst compound 2 is the first Co-containing Dawson-based single-molecule magnet and has a unique cruciform structure.  相似文献

Recently, Many tri-component heteropoly compounds have been synthesized, but tetra-component heteropoly compounds have not been reported. It is known that mixtures of Mo and Co oxides are a promoted hydrodesulphurization catalyst. The title compound is a polyoxophosphate containing Mo, Co and W, the divalent anion possesses two-fused Keggin structure, whereas MoO_6 has been confirmed to be an elementary structure unit of isopoly and heteropoly molybdates, but it, as an idependent anion, has not been reported either.  相似文献

Reactions of phosph(V)azane derivatives of bis(anilino)phosphine oxide (PhNH)2P(O)H (1) with AlCl3 and SiCl4 produce two new phosph(V)azane complexes, AlCl[(NPh)2P(O)H] (2) and SiCl2[(NPh)2P(O)H] (3). In these reactions, an HCl elimination occurs and M─N bonds (M = Si, Al) form directly between a bis(anilino)phosphine oxide ligand with aluminum and silicon halides. The reactions do not require any base to deprotonate the phosphazane ligand. The final products have been fully characterized by means of elemental analysis and IR, MS, and multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, 31P, 27Al, and 29Si) spectroscopy.  相似文献

The assignment of high-field (18.8 T) (17)O MAS and 3QMAS spectra has been completed by use of first-principles calculations for three crystalline sodium phosphates, Na 3P 3O 9, Na 5P 3O 10, and Na 4P 2O 7. In Na 3P 3O 9, the calculated parameters, quadrupolar constant ( C Q), quadrupolar asymmetry (eta Q), and the isotropic chemical shift (delta cs) correspond to those deduced experimentally, and the calculation is mandatory to achieve a complete assignment. For the sodium tripolyphosphate Na 5P 3O 10, the situation is more complex because of the free rotation of the end-chain phosphate groups. The assignment obtained with ab initio calculations can however be confirmed by the (17)O{ (31)P} MAS-J-HMQC spectrum. Na 4P 2O 7 (17)O MAS and 3QMAS spectra show a complex pattern in agreement with the computed NMR parameters, which indicate that all of the oxygens exhibit very similar values. These results are related to structural data to better understand the influence of the oxygen environment on the NMR parameters. The findings are used to interpret those results observed on a binary sodium phosphate glass.  相似文献

The crystal structures of two new diphosphates, sodium hexamanganese bis­(diphosphate) triphosphate, NaMn6(P2O7)2(P3O10), and potassium hexacadmium bis­(diphosphate) triphosphate, KCd6(P2O7)2(P3O10), confirm the rigidity of the M6(P2O7)2(P3O10) matrix (M is Mn or Cd) and the relatively fixed dimensions of the tunnels extending in the a direction of the unit cell. The compounds are isomorphous; the P2O74? anion and the alkali metal cations lie on mirror planes. Bond‐valence analysis of the bonding details of the atoms found within the tunnels permits a prediction of the conductivity.  相似文献

[Co4P2(PtBu2)2(CO)8] and [{Co(CO)3}2P4tBu4] from Co2(CO)8 and tBu2P–P=P(Me)tBu2 Co2(CO)8 reacts with tBu2P–P=P(Me)tBu2 yielding the compounds [Co4P2(PtBu2)2(CO)8] ( 1 ) and [{η2tBu2P=P–P=PtBu2}{Co(CO)3}2] ( 2 a ) cis, ( 2 b ) trans. In 1 , four Co and two P atoms form a tetragonal bipyramid, in which two adjacent Co atoms are μ2‐bridged by tBu2P groups. Additionally, two CO groups are linked to each Co atom. In 2 a and 2 b , each of the Co(CO)3 units is η2‐coordinated to the terminal P2 units resulting in the cis‐ and trans‐configurations 2 a and 2 b . 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnnm (No. 58) with a = 879,41(5), b = 1199,11(8), c = 1773,65(11) pm. 2 a crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n (No. 14) with a = 875,97(5), b = 1625,36(11), c = 2117,86(12) pm, β = 91,714(7)°. 2 b crystallizes in the triclinic space group P 1 (No. 2) with a = 812,00(10), b = 843,40(10), c = 1179,3(2) pm, α = 100,92(2)°, β = 102,31(2)°, γ = 102,25(2)°.  相似文献

A new layered phosphate, Na7Y2(P2O7) 2(P3O10), containing both [P2O7]4? and [P3O10]5? groups, has been prepared. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2/c with a = 16.205(4), b = 5.3746(9), c = 12.309(4) Å, β = 97.96(2)°, V = 1061.7(5) Å3 and Z = 2. The structure was solved and refined to R1 = 0.0298 and wR2 = 0.0698 for 1844 independent reflections with I > 2σ(I). It consists of layers of corner and edge-sharing YO7 polyhedra, P2O7 and P3O10 groups. Each layer is built up from two parallel [YP2O7] slabs, held together by the P3O10 groups. This arrangement gives rise to intersecting tunnels within the layer. The Na+ cations are located in the tunnels and between the layers. Both P2O7 and P3O10 groups contain unshared oxygen atoms directed toward the interlayer space and toward the tunnels. The P2O7 groups show a staggered configuration. In addition to this original layered framework, the title compound provides the third example of a compound containing a mixed anion of [P2O7]4? and [P3O10]5?. The structure was compared with the two previously reported ones, containing such a mixed anion: NH4Cd6(P2O7) 2(P3O10) [6] and Cs2Mo5O2(P2O7)3 · (P3O10) [7].  相似文献
