A class of biholomorphic mappings named “quasi-convex mapping” is introduced in the unit ball of a complex Banach space. It is proved that this class of mappings is a proper subset of the class of starlike mappings and contains the class of convex mappings properly, and it has the same growth and covering theorems as the convex mappings. Furthermore, when the Banach space is confined to ℂn, the “quasi-convex mapping” is exactly the “quasi-convex mapping of type A” introduced by K. A. Roper and T. J. Suffridge.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a normalized biholomorphic mapping f(x) defined on the unit ball in a complex Banach space, where the origin 0 is a zero of order k+1 of f(x)−x. The precise growth and covering theorem for f(x) is obtained when f(x) is a starlike mapping or a starlike mapping of order α. Especially, the precise growth and covering theorem for f(x) is also established when f(x) is a quasi-convex mapping. Moreover, the precise distortion theorem for f(x) is given when f(x) is a convex mapping. Our result includes many known results.  相似文献

We introduce the class of strongly close-to-convex mappings of order c~ in the unit ball of a complex Banach space, and then, we give the sharp distortion theorems for this class of mappings in the unit ball of a complex Hilbert space X or the unit polydisc in Cn. LetΩ∈Cn be a bounded starlike circular domain with 0∈Ω. In this paper, we introduce a class of holomorphic mappings Mg onΩ. Let f(z) be a normalized locally biholomorphic mapping onΩsuch that Jf-1(z)f(z)∈Mg and z=0 is the zero of order k + 1 of f(z)-z. We obtain the growth and covering theorems for f(z). Especially, as corollaries, we unify and generalize many known results. Let K be the familiar class of normalized convex functions in the unit disk. Keogh and Merkes proved the well-known result that max?fK|a3λa22|max?{1/3,|λ1|},λ?, and the estimate is sharp for each λ. We investigate the corresponding problem for a subclass of quasi-convex mappings of type B defined on the unit ball in a complex Banach space or on the unit polydisk in ?n. The proofs of these results use some restrictive assumptions, which in the case of one complex variable are automatically satisfied.  相似文献

In this paper, a new class of biholomorphic mappings named “ε quasi-convex mapping” is introduced in the unit ball of a complex Banach space. Meanwhile, the definition of ε-starlike mapping is generalized from ε∈[0,1] to ε∈[−1,1]. It is proved that the class of ε quasi-convex mappings is a proper subset of the class of starlike mappings and contains the class of ε starlike mappings properly for some ε∈[−1,0)∪(0,1]. We give a geometric explanation for ε-starlike mapping with ε∈[−1,1] and prove that the generalized Roper-Suffridge extension operator preserves the biholomorphic ε starlikeness on some domains in Banach spaces for ε∈[−1,1]. We also give some concrete examples of ε quasi-convex mappings or ε starlike mappings for ε∈[−1,1] in Banach spaces or Cn. Furthermore, some other properties of ε quasi-convex mapping or ε-starlike mapping are obtained. These results generalize the related works of some authors.  相似文献

In this paper, we obtain the estimates of all homogeneous expansions for a subclass of biholomorphic mappings which have parametric representation on the unit ball of complex Banach spaces.Meanwhile, we also establish the estimates of all homogeneous expansions for the above generalized mappings on the unit polydisk in C~n. Especially, the above estimates are only sharp for biholomorphic starlike mappings and starlike mappings of order α under restricted conditions. The growth theorem and the 1/2-covering theorem are obtained for the class of normalized biholomorphic convex mappings on bounded convex circular domains, which extend the corresponding results of Sufridge, Thomas, Liu, Gong, Yu, and Wang. The approach is new, which does not appeal to the automorphisms of the domains; and the domains discussed are rather general on which convex mappings can be studied, since the domain may not have a convex mapping if it is not convex.
