Experimental data obtained by the NA35 Collaboration for the difference of the p and \(\bar p\) spectra and the difference of the Λ and \(\bar \Lambda\) spectra (net proton and Λ-hyperon spectra), as well as the inclusive Λ and \(\bar \Lambda\) spectra measured by the NA49, NA57, and STAR Collaborations, are compared with the predictions of the quark-gluon string model. The contribution of string-junction diffusion is calculated, and interaction with nuclear clusters is taken into account along with the corrections for inelastic screening. The level of numerical agreement with experimental data is between 20 and 30%. The predictions for the LHC energy are given.  相似文献

Understanding the properties of nuclei inside island of inversion is still an interesting issue. Based on a simple Nilsson model with a new set of isospin-dependent parameters, and with non-axial deformations considered, we have performed three-dimensional potential-energy-surface calculations for Ne, Na, Mg and Al isotopes that are claimed to be in or nearby the A~30 island of inversion. It is found that shape coexistence and triaxial deformation(or softness) exist in these nuclei. Large deformations are obtained by the improved Nilsson parameters, which explains the observed large electric quadrupole transition probabilities. The large deformations happening in30 Ne,31Na,32 Mg and33Al indicate the quenching of the spherical N = 20 neutron shell gap. The calculations of nuclear binding and two-neutron separation energies have been also improved with the isospin-dependent parameters and the inclusion of the non-axial deformation degree of freedom.  相似文献

The ratio of the scale parameter Λ in massless QCD defined on a lattice to the one in the continuum theory is determined by performing one-loop renormalization of the coupling constant. Our calculation method on a lattice directly relates Λlattice to the continuum one in the minimal subtraction scheme. The effect of incorporation of massless quarks depends on a parameter λ which is introduced to avoid trouble with fermions on a lattice. For λ=1, which is Wilson's value, the ratio previously calculated by Hasenfratz in the pure gauge theory is changed as follows:
Δα=1MOMΔlattice=83.5for pure SU(3) gauge theory;
Δα=1MOMΔlattice=105.7 for QCD with 3 flavors;
Δα=1MOMΔlattice=105.7 117.0 for QCD with 4 flavors.

The transverse momentum distributions of Λ's and proton's directed flows are investigated by using Quantum Molecular Dynamics model (QMD) within the framework of covariant kaon dynamics. The mean lifetimes of the Λ and Ξ0 hyperons have been measured in a short neutral beam at the CERN Proton Synchrotron. Λ and Ξ0 decays have been identified by measuring their decay products in a magnetic spectrometer and in a lead glass hodoscope. The experimental results, based on 53 000 Λ decays and 6300 Ξ0 decays are
τΛ = (2.69 ± 0.03)×10?10s, τΞ0 = (2.77 ± 0.16) ×10?10s?(τΛ ? 2.69 × 10?10s).
From the result for τΞ0 together with existing data on τΞ? we obtain a violation of the ΔI = 12 rule in non-leptonic Ξ decays.  相似文献

FCNC processes offer important tools to test the Standard Model(SM)and to search for possible new physics.In this work,we investigate the s→dvv rare hyperon decays in SM and beyond.We find that in SM the branching ratios for these rare hyperon decays range from 10~(-14) to 10~(-11).When all the errors in the form factors are included,we find that the final branching ratios for most decay modes have an uncertainty of about 5% to 10%.After taking into account the contribution from new physics,the generalized SUSY extension of SM and the minimal 331 model,the decay widths for these channels can be enhanced by a factor of 2~7.  相似文献

The dependence of the residual polarization of negative muons in p-type Si on temperature in the 4.2–270 K range has been investigated. Measurements were carried out in external magnetic field of 0.08 T transverse to the muon spin. The impurity concentration in the sample was 2 · 1013 cm–3. Muon spin relaxation was observed at temperatures below 30 K. The relaxation rate atT=30 K is equal to 0.18±0.08s–1. The relaxation rate grows with the decrease of temperature and at 4.2 K exceeds 30s–1. The value of the residual polarization at zero timeP(t=0) is constant within the investigated temperature range.In the rangeT<30 K data on the relaxation rate are well described by the dependence =B·T–q, whereq=2.75. Power dependence of may evidence the essential role of the phonon mechanism in the relaxation of the electron momentum of the acceptor center.The authors express their gratitude to V.B. We investigate the α decay half-lives of even-Z superheavy nuclei up to Z = 120 by the modified two-potential approach. Based on the density-dependent cluster model, the α daughter potential is obtained from the double folding integral, taking into account the effect of nuclear deformation. A reasonable formula related with the fissility parameter and the fission barrier height, is applied to evaluate the spontaneous fission half-lives of the studied nuclei. After the performance of the competition between α decay and spontaneous fission, possible α decay chains are proposed in pursuit of being useful for the future experiment.  相似文献

We use the quantum jump method to study the photon statistics of a single laser-driven atom in the configuration where both lower levels are strongly coupled to the common upper level. Under certain conditions we show that, for almost degenerate lower levels, light and dark periods occur which are similar to those of the well-known Dehmelt V system. Analytic results for their mean lengths and other statistical properties are given. For large separation of the lower levels we prove an interesting bunching property by the photons in the resonance fluorescence near the dark resonance. We propose a realistic system for which these effects may be observed.  相似文献

The magnetocaloric effect of Gd1−x Tb x alloys with x=0.00, 0.10, 0.20, 0.25, 0.30 and 0.40 was studied. The magnetic ordering temperatures were determined from the magnetization measurement. The data obtained from magnetization and specific-heat measurements as well as by the direct measurement are well comparable within their experimental errors. The values of ΔT ad are in the proximity of 2.5 K for field change of 1 T and all studied concentrations. The dependence of magnetocaloric effect on the sample shape anisotropy was documented by the magnetization measurement as well as by the direct measurement.  相似文献

We perform a deductive study of accelerating Universe and focus on the importance of variable time-dependent Λ in the Einstein’s field equations under the phenomenological assumption, Λ=αH 2 for the full physical range of α. The relevance of variable Λ with regard to various key issues like dark matter, dark energy, geometry of the field, age of the Universe, deceleration parameter and barotropic equation of state has been trivially addressed. The deceleration parameter and the barotropic equation of state parameter obey a straight line relationship for a flat Universe described by Friedmann and Raychaudhuri equations. Mössbauer effect was used to determine the Sb site hyperfine field in the amorphous ferromagnet Fe79SbB20. The121Sb Mössbauer spectrum at 77 K showed a distribution of hyperfine fields with a most probable value of 219 kOe. This result is discussed in terms of the systematics of non-magnetic site hyperfine fields in ferromagnets.57Fe Mössbauer effect was also used to determine the most probable value of the Fe site field, , and the width of the field distribution, H. Our measurements yield 280 kOe and H=104 kOe. These results are consistent with previous results on the amorphous ferromagnet Fe80B20.  相似文献
