We introduce lightlike hypersurfaces of a golden semi-Riemannian manifold. We investigate several properties of lightlike hypersurfaces of a golden semi-Riemannian manifold. We prove that there is no radical anti-invariant lightlike hypersurface of a golden semi-Riemannian manifold. In particular, we obtain some results for screen semi-invariant lightlike hypersurfaces of a golden semi-Riemannian manifold. Moreover, we study screen conformal screen semi-invariant lightlike hypersurfaces.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to initiate a study of the differential geometry of lightlike (degenerate) submanifolds of semi-Riemannian manifolds. This paper deals with lightlike hypersurfaces of indefinite trans-Sasakian manifolds of type (α, β), tangent to the structure vector field. Characterization Theorems on parallel vector fields, integrable distributions, minimal distributions, Ricci-semi symmetric, geodesibility of lightlike hypersurfaces are obtained. The geometric configuration of lightlike hypersurfaces is established. We prove, under some conditions, that there are no parallel and totally contact umbilical lightlike hypersurfaces of trans-Sasakian space forms, tangent to the structure vector field. We show that there exists a totally umbilical distribution in an Einstein parallel lightlike hypersurface which does not contain the structure vector field. We characterize the normal bundle along any totally contact umbilical leaf of an integrable screen distribution. We finally prove that the geometry of any leaf of an integrable distribution is closely related to the geometry of a normal bundle and its image under ${\overline{\phi}}$ .  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the notion of a slant lightlike submanifold of an indefinite Cosymplectic manifold. We provide a nontrivial example and obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a slant lightlike submanifold. Also, we give an example of a minimal slant lightlike submanifold of R92{R^{9}_{2}} and prove some characterization Theorems.  相似文献

We investigate lightlike hypersurfaces of indefinite Sasakian manifolds, tangent to the structure vector field ξ and whose screen distribution is integrable. We prove some results on parallel vector fields and on a leaf of the integrable distribution of this class. A theorem on a geometrical configuration of the screen distribution is obtained. We show that any totally contact umbilical leaf of a screen integrable distribution of a lightlike hypersurface is an extrinsic sphere. In this paper, we introduce the notion of screen pseudo-slant lightlike submanifolds of indefinite Sasakian manifolds giving characterization theorem with some non-trivial examples of such submanifolds. Integrability conditions of distributions D 1, D 2 and RadTM on screen pseudo-slant lightlike submanifolds of indefinite Sasakian manifolds have been obtained. Further, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for foliations determined by above distributions to be totally geodesic. We also study mixed geodesic screen pseudo-slant lightlike submanifolds of indefinite Sasakian manifolds.  相似文献

We study pseudosymmetric lightlike hypersurfaces of an indefinite Sasakian space form, tangent to the structure vector field. We obtain sufficient conditions for a lightlike hypersurface to be pseudosymmetric, pseudoparallel and Ricci-pseudosymmetric in an indefinite Sasakian space form. We also find certain conditions for a pseudosymmetric lightlike hypersurface of an indefinite Sasakian space form to be totally geodesic and check the effect of Weyl projective pseudosymmetry conditions on the geometry of a lightlike hypersurface of an indefinite Sasakian space form. Fundamental properties of real lightlike hypersurfaces of an indefinite quaternion Kaehler manifold are investigated. We obtain matrix of the rotation about arbitrary lightlike axis in three-dimensional Minkowski space by deriving the Rodrigues’ rotation formula and using the corresponding Cayley map. We prove that a unit timelike split quaternion q with a lightlike vector part determines rotation R q about lightlike axis and show that a split quaternion product of two unit timelike split quaternions with null vector parts determines the rotation about a spacelike, a timelike or a lightlike axis. The Lorentzian space form with the positive curvature is called de Sitter space which is an important subject in the theory of relativity. In this paper we consider spacelike curves in de Sitter 3-space. We define the notion of lightlike surfaces of spacelike curves in de Sitter 3-space. In this paper, we introduce a new submersion, namely, screen lightlike submersion between a lightlike manifold and a semi-Riemannian manifold. We give an example and obtain a characterization for lightlike manifold to be Reinhart under such submersion. It is proved that the geometry of lightlike hypersurfaces of the de Sitter space Sn+11 is directly connected with the geometry of hypersurfaces of the conformal space Cn. In this paper we give the representation formulas for spacelike curves in two-dimensional lightlike cone ${{\mathbb Q}^2}$ and three-dimensional lightlike cone ${{\mathbb Q}^3}$ . The authors study the geometry of lightlike hypersurfaces on manifolds (M, c) endowed with a pseudoconformal structure c = CO(n – 1, 1) of Lorentzian signature. Such hypersurfaces are of interest in general relativity since they can be models of different types of physical horizons. On a lightlike hypersurface, the authors consider the fibration of isotropic geodesics and investigate their singular points and singular submanifolds. They construct a conformally invariant normalization of a lightlike hypersurface intrinsically connected with its geometry and investigate affine connections induced by this normalization. The authors also consider special classes of lightlike hypersurfaces. In particular, they investigate lightlike hypersurfaces for which the elements of the constructed normalization are integrable.  相似文献
