This paper investigates the global exponential stability of reaction-diffusion neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays.By constructing a more general type of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional combined with a free-weighting matrix approach and analysis techniques,delay-dependent exponential stability criteria are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities. The obtained results are dependent on the size of the time-varying delays and the measure of the space, which are usually less conservative than delay-independent and space-independent ones. These results are easy to check, and improve upon the existing stability results. Some remarks are given to show the advantages of the obtained results over the previous results.A numerical example has been presented to show the usefulness of the derived linear matrix inequality(LMI)-based stability conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of stability analysis for neural networks with time-varying delays is considered.By constructing a new augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii’s functional and some novel analysis techniques, improved delaydependent criteria for checking the stability of the neural networks are established. The proposed criteria are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) which can be easily solved and checked by various convex optimization algorithms. Two numerical examples are included to show the superiority of our results.  相似文献

The authors discuss the existence of the equilibrium point and its global exponential robust stability for reaction–diffusion interval neural networks with time-varying delays by means of the topological degree theory and Lyapunov-functional method. Since the diffusion phenomena, time delay and the perturbation due to noises as well as some unforced man-made faults could not be ignored in neural networks, the model presented here is close to the actual systems, and the sufficient conditions on global exponential robust stability established in this Letter, which are easily verifiable, have a wider adaptive range.  相似文献

In real-time applications of bi-directional associative memory (BAM) networks.a global exponentially stable equilibrium is highly desired. The existence, uniqueness and global exponential stability for a class of BAM networks are studied in this paper, the signal function of neurons is assumed to be piece-wise linear from the engineering point of view.A very concise condition for the equilbrium of such a network being globally exponentially stable is derived.which makes the pactical design of this kind of networks an easy job.  相似文献

Some sufficient criteria have been established to ensure the global exponential stability of delayed cellular neural networks by using an approach based on delay differential inequality. Compared with the method of Lyapunov functionals as in most previous studies, our method is simpler and more effective for a stability analysis of delayed system. Some previously established results in the literature are shown to be special cases of the present result.  相似文献

In this work, the stability issues of the equilibrium points of the cellular neural networks with multiple time delays and impulsive effects are investigated. Based on the stability theory of Lyapunov-Krasovskii, the method of linear matrix inequality (LMI) and parametrized first-order model transformation, several novel conditions guaranteeing the delaydependent and the delay-independent exponential stabilities are obtained. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

This paper studies delay-dependent asymptotical stability problems for the neural system with time-varying delay. By dividing the whole interval into multiple segments such that each segment has a different Lyapunov matrix, some improved delay-dependent stability conditions are derived by employing an integral equality technique. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the proposed methods.  相似文献

This paper mainly investigates the exponential synchronization of an inner time-varying complex network with coupling delay. Firstly, the synchronization of complex networks is decoupled into the stability of the corresponding dynamical systems. Based on the Lyapunov function theory, some sufficient conditions to guarantee its stability with any given convergence rate are derived, thus the synchronization of the networks is achieved. Finally, the results are illustrated by a simple time-varying network model with a coupling delay. All involved numerical simulations verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

This Letter deals with the problem of delay-dependent robust exponential stability in mean square for a class of uncertain stochastic Hopfield neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the stochastic stability theory, delay-dependent stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Because of introducing some free-weighting matrices to develop the stability criteria, the proposed stability conditions have less conservatism. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

In this paper, a synchronization scheme for a class of chaotic neural networks with time-varying delays is presented. This class of chaotic neural networks covers several well-known neural networks, such as Hopfield neural networks, cellular neural networks, and bidirectional associative memory networks. The obtained criteria are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities, thus they can be efficiently verified. A comparison between our results and the previous results shows that our results are less restrictive.  相似文献

To avoid the unstable phenomena caused by time delays and perturbations, we investigate the sufficient conditions to ensure the global exponential robust stability with a convergence rate for the reaction-diffusion neural networks with S-type distributed delays. Because S-type distributed delays lead to some difficulty, we also introduce a new generalized Halanay inequality and a novel method-system-approximation method into the qualitative research of neural networks. Moreover, the sufficient criteria provided here, which are rather accessible and feasible, have wider adaptive range.  相似文献

In this Letter fuzzy cellular neural networks with time-varying delays are studied. Sufficient conditions for the existence, uniqueness and global asymptotic stability of equilibrium point are established by using the theory of topological degree and applying the properties of nonsingular M-matrix. The activation functions are not required to be differentiable, bounded or monotone nondecreasing. The results of this Letter are new and they complement previously known results.  相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with input-to-state stability of a class of memristive bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with variable time delays. Based on a nonsmooth analysis and set-valued maps, some novel sufficient conditions are obtained for the input-to-state stability of such networks, which extended some known results as particular cases. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

In this Letter, based on the Lyapunov stability theorem as well as some facts about the positive definiteness and inequality of matrices, a new sufficient condition to ensure the global exponential stability of equilibrium point for autonomous delayed CNNs is obtained. This condition is less restrictive than given in the earlier references.  相似文献

This Letter studies the exponential stability for a class of neural networks (NNs) with both discrete and distributed time-varying delays. Under weaker assumptions on the activation functions, by defining a more general type of Lyapunov functionals and developing a new convex combination technique, new less conservative and less complex stability criteria are established to guarantee the global exponential stability of the discussed NNs. The obtained conditions are dependent on both discrete and distributed delays, are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and contain fewer decision variables. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and the less conservatism of the proposed conditions.  相似文献

This paper presents the stability analysis for a class of neural networks with time varying delays that are represented by the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) model. The main results given here focus on the stability criteria using a new Lyapunov functional. New relaxed conditions and new linear matrix inequality-based designs are proposed that outperform the previous results found in the literature. Numerical examples are provided to show that the achieved conditions are less conservative than the existing ones in the literature.  相似文献

The problem of delay-dependent asymptotic stability criteria for neural networks with time-varying delay is investigated. A new class of Lyapunov functional is constructed to derive some new delay-dependent stability criteria. The obtained criterion are less conservative because free-weighting matrices method and a convex optimization approach are considered. Finally, numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Some criteria for the global stochastic exponential stability of the delayed reaction-diffusion recurrent neural networks with Markovian jumping parameters are presented. The jumping parameters considered here are generated from a continuous-time discrete-state homogeneous Markov process, which are governed by a Markov process with discrete and finite state space. By employing a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is developed to establish some easy-to-test criteria of global exponential stability in the mean square for the stochastic neural networks. The criteria are computationally efficient, since they are in the forms of some linear matrix inequalities.  相似文献

This paper proposes new delay-dependent synchronization criteria for coupled Hopfield neural networks with time-varying delays. By construction of a suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii's functional and use of Finsler's lemma, novel synchronization criteria for the networks are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which can be easily solved by various effective optimization algorithms. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献
