The cross sections of the fragments produced in the projectile fragmentation reactions of the even calcium isotopes from A=36 to A=52 are calculated using the statistical abrasion ablation model. The neutron skin thickness are studied by investigating the fragments isotopic cross section distributions. The neutron-skin thicknesses of the calcium isotopes have a good linear correlation to the peak positions of their fragment isotopic cross section distributions. The correlation between the neutron skin thickness and the neutron density distributions of 48Ca is investigated by introducing a parameter to adjust the diffuseness parameter in the fermi-type density distribution. 相似文献

The correlation between neutron-to-proton yield ratio (R<,n p>) and neutron skin thickness (δ<,n p>) in neutron-rich projectile induced reactions is investigated within the framework of the Isospin-Dependent Quantum Molecular Dynamics (IQMD) model. The density distribution of the Droplet model is embedded in the initialization of the neutron and proton densities in the present IQMD model. By adjusting the diffuseness parameter of neutron density in the Droplet model for the projectile, the relationship between the neutron skin thickness and the corresponding R<,n p> is obtained. The results show strong linear correlation between R<,n p> and δ<,n p> for neutron-rich Ca and Ni isotopes. It is suggested that R<,n p> may be used as an experimental observable to extract δ<,n p> for neutron-rich nuclei, which is very interesting in the study of the nuclear structure of exotic nuclei, the equation of state (EOS) of asymmetric nuclear matter and neutron-rich matter in astrophysics, etc. 相似文献

The dependence between neutron skin thickness and neutron abrasion cross section (σnabr) for neutron-rich nuclei is investigated within the framework of the statistical abrasion ablation model. Assuming that the density distributions for proton and neutron are of Fermi-type, and adjusting the diffuseness parameter of neutron density distribution in the droplet model, we find out the good linear correlation between the neutron skin thickness and the abrasion cross section σnabr for neutron-rich nuclei. The uncertainty of neutron skin thickness determined from σnabr is very small. It is suggested that σnabr can be used as a new experimental observable to extract the neutron skin thickness for neutronrich nucleus. The scaling behaviours between neutron skin thickness and σnabr, separately, for isotopes of ^26-35Na, ^44-56Ar, ^48-60Ca, ^67-78Ni are also investigated. 相似文献

We propose an alternative way to constrain the density dependence of the symmetry energy from the neutron skin thickness of nuclei which shows a linear relation to both the isospin asymmetry and the nuclear charge with a form of Z2/3. The relation of the neutron skin thickness to the nuclear charge and isospin asymmetry is systematically studied with the data from antiprotonic atom measurement, and with the extended Thomas-Fermi approach incorporating the Skyrme energy density functional. An obviously linear relationship between the slope parameter L of the nuclear symmetry energy and the isospin asymmetry dependent parameter of the neutron skin thickness can be found, by adopting 70 Skyrme interactions in the calculations. Combining the available experimental data, the constraint of -20 MeV L 82 MeV on the slope parameter of the symmetry energy is obtained. The Skyrme interactions satisfying the constraint are selected. 相似文献

By investigating the cross section distributions of fragments produced in the 140 A MeV 40,48Ca+9Be and 1 A GeV 124,136Xe+Pb reactions, the isospin dependence of projectile fragmentation in fragment production is studied. In the framework of the statistical abrasion-ablation model, the 1 A GeV 136Xe+208Pb reaction is calculated. By adjusting the diffuseness parameter in neutron density distribution of 136Xe, we find the isospin dependence of projectile fragmentation in fragment production is sensitive to the neutron-skin thickness of the projectile nucleus.

Shell-model studies on the N =14 and 16 shell closures in neutron-rich Be, C, O and Ne isotopes are presented. We calculate, with the WBT interaction, the excited states in these nuclei. The calculations agree with recent experiment data. Excited energies and B(E2) values are displayed to discuss the shell closures. Our results support the N =16 shell closure in these isotopes, while indicating a disappearance of N =14 shell closure in Be and C isotopes. 相似文献

The existence of a neutron skin in neutron-rich nuclei is discussed in connection with the excitation of isovector dipole and quadrupole giant modes via isoscalar nuclear probes. In the case of large neutron excess, important contributions are obtained from the nuclear excitation, which may even become predominant according to proper kinematical conditions. At variance with the usual situation encountered in inelastic processes, constructive interference can be found between nuclear and Coulomb contributions. 相似文献

The projected angular distribution and transverse momentum distribution of proton projectile fragments produced in 3.7A GeV 16O,500A MeV 56Fe,and 1.7A GeV 84Kr induced by different kinds of emulsion target(H,CNO,and AgBr) interactions are investigated. It is found that the projected angular distribution and transverse momentum distribution can be well represented by a single Gaussian distribution.Comparison of transverse momentum distribution with the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution reveals that proton projectile fragments are emitted from a single-temperature emission source. The temperature is different for different colliding systems, and linearly depends on the target size. 相似文献

The electric quadrupole moment of 17B and the g-factor of 17C were measured by using the fragmentation-induced nuclear polarization technique combined with the β-NMR method. The experimental
quadrupole moment of 17B is found strikingly close to that of the neutron closed-shell isotope 13B, indicating a strong quenching of the neutron E2 core-polarization charge. From the result obtained for the 17C g-factor, we can conclude that the ground-state spin-parity of 17C is 3/2+.

The 140~MeV/u ^40,48Ca+^9Be and ^58,64Ni+^9Be
reactions are simulated by the statistical abrasion ablation model,
and the simulation results are compared to the National
Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) experimental data. By
comparing the fragment isotopic distributions of ^40,48Ca and
^58,64Ni, we study the isospin effect in the projectile
fragmentation induced by the neutron-rich nuclei at intermediate
energy experimentally and theoretically. It is found that the
isospin effect in projectile fragmentation decreases and even
disappears as the violence of the collision increases. 相似文献

A statistical approach based on the Weisskopf evaporation theory has been developed to describe the deexcitation process of highly excited heavy and superheavy nuclei, in particular for the proton-rich nuclei. The excited nucleus is cooled by evaporating γ-rays, light particles(neutrons, protons, α etc) in competition with binary fission,in which the structure effects(shell correction, fission barrier, particle separation energy) contribute to the processes. The formation of residual nuclei is evaluated via sequential emission of possible particles above the separation energies. The available data of fusion-evaporation excitation functions in the ~(28)Si+~(198)Pt reaction can be reproduced nicely within the approach. 相似文献

We used the cluster structure properties of the 212Po to estimate the neutron skin thickness of 208Pb.For this purpose,we considered two important components:(a)alpha decay is a low energy phenomenon;therefore, one can expect that the mean-field,which can explain the ground state properties of 212Po,does not change during the alpha decay process.(b)212Po has a high alpha cluster-like structure, two protons and two neutrons outside its core nucleus with a double magic closed-shell,and the cluster model is a powerful formalism for the estimation of alpha decay preformation factor of such nuclei. The slope of the symmetry energy of 208Pb is estimated to be 75±25 MeV within the selected same mean-fields and Skyrme forces, which can simultaneously satisfy the ground-state properties of parent and daughter nuclei,as their neutron skin thicknesses are consistent with experimental data. 相似文献

Using an isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics (IQMD) model, we study the 15C induced reactions from 30-120 MeV/nucleon systematically. Here the valence neutron of 15C is assigned at both 1d5/2 and 2s1/2 states respectively in order to study the density effect of reaction mechanism. It is believed that the existent neutron halo structure at the 2s1/2 state of 15C will affect the light particle emission evidently. In our calculation, the different density distributions of 15C at two states are calculated by relativistic mean field (RMF) model and introduced in the initiation of IQMD model, respectively. It is found that some observables such as emission fragmentation multiplicity, emission neutron/proton ratio and emission neutrons’ kinetic energy spectrum are sensitive to the initial density distribution. 相似文献

The quasiparticle representation of the phonon darnping model (PDM) is developed to include the superfluid pairing correlations
microscopically. The formalism is applied to calculate the photoabsorption and the electromagnetic (EM) differential cross
sections of E1 excitations in neutron-rich oxygen and calcium isotopes. The calculated photoabsorption cross sections agree
reasonably well with the available data for 16,18O and 40,48Ca. The results of calculations show that the change of the fraction of the E1 integrated strength in the region of pygmy
dipole resonance (PDR) as a function of mass number A with increasing neutron number N is in agreement with the recent experimental data, and does not follow the prediction by the simple cluster model. The EM
differential cross sections obtained within PDM in this work show prominent PDR peaks below 15 MeV for 20,22O in agreement with the recent experimental observation. It is also shown that, using low-energy RI beams at around 50–60
MeV/nucleon, one can observe clean and even enhanced PDR peaks without the admixture with the GDR in the EM differential cross
sections of neutron-rich nuclei. 相似文献

The model of three-body Borromean halo nuclei breakup was described by using standard phase space distributions and the Monte Carlo simulation method was established to resolve the detection problem of two neutrons produced from breakup reaction on the neutron wall detector. For 6He case, overall resolution ~rEk for the Oaussiaal part of the detector response and the detection efficiency including solid angle acceptance with regard to the excitation energy Ek are obtained by the simulation of two neutrons from 6He breakup into the neutron wall. The effects of the algorithm on the angular and energy correlations of the fragments are briefly discussed. 相似文献
