The effect of square cut-outs on the natural frequencies of square, simply-supported composite plates is investigated. The forced and free dynamic response of plates with cut-outs is formulated. Laminations are assumed to be symmetric about the mid-plane and the plates are considered analytically as homogeneous anisotropic plates. In the method of solution it is assumed that the effect of the cut-out is equivalent to an external loading on the plate. For free vibration, the method leads to an infinite system of frequency equations. Depending upon the accuracy required, a suitable size of the system of frequency equations is selected. Results are given for square, simply-supported composite plates with centrally located square cut-outs for different modulus ratios. A comparison of results obtained from this method for isotropic plates with cut-outs with available literature is made and excellent agreement is obtained.  相似文献

The effect of resonances in the photon emission rate in the radiative heat generation and transfer and the Casimir friction at the sliding of two polar dielectric plates has been studied. The resonances have different origin in the frequency ranges of the normal and anomalous Doppler effects. In the frequency range of the normal Doppler effect, the resonances are due to resonant photon tunneling between surface phonon/plas-mon polaritons of plates. Such resonances exist only at a relative sliding velocity v = 0 for two identical plates. However, the resonances may occur at v ≠ 0 for different plates. In the frequency range of the anomalous Doppler effect, the resonances are due to the excitation generation in both plates. While the resonances are finite in the frequency range of the normal Doppler effect, singular resonances are possible even in the presence of dissipation in the system in the frequency range of the anomalous Doppler effect. The resonances for identical and different sliding plates have been considered.

The forced and free dynamic response of plates with cut-outs formulated in Part I [1] is used to investigate the effect of cut-outs on the natural frequencies of clamped-clamped plates. The size, shape and location of the cut-out is expressed as a displacement dependent external loading. The plates considered are homogeneous and anisotropic. Lagrange's equations of motion lead to an infinite system of differential equations in time-dependent generalized co-ordinates with generalized forces which include the effects of the cut-outs. There is an infinite system of frequency equations for free vibrations. The infinite system is truncated to a finite system of equations depending upon the accuracy desired in frequency values. Results are given for square, clamped-clamped plates with centrally located square cut-outs for different modulus ratios. Good agreement is obtained when results for isotropic plates with cut-outs are compared with available theoretical and experimental results.  相似文献

This paper deals with the large deflection flexural vibration of unsymmetric cross-ply laminated plates which are simply supported at two opposite edges and clamped at the other two edges. Stress-free and movable in-plane boundary conditions are considered. Non-linear frequency is obtained as a function of lamination parameters, material constants, aspect ratio, linear frequency and amplitude of vibration. Non-linear frequency to linear frequency ratio versus amplitude curves are presented for isotropic, glass-epoxy, graphite-epoxy and boron-epoxy plates.  相似文献

Numerous studies that address the vibration of stepped thickness plates are reported in the literature. Predominately, classical plate theory has been used to formulate studies for both isotropic and anisotropic stepped plates. Mindlin plate theory has been employed to obtain results for thick isotropic stepped thickness plates. Exact solutions, Rayleigh-Ritz, differential quadrature and finite element methods have been employed to compute results for frequency of vibration. Results for frequency of vibration for thick orthotropic stepped thickness plates are presented here using orthorhombic material properties of aragonite. The finite element method has been used to compute frequencies and determine mode shapes for simply supported and clamped square Mindlin plates.  相似文献

The dynamic response of an acoustically driven spherical bubble between parallel plates is investigated in the linear approximation. For the case of rigid plates, explicit expressions are provided for the resonance frequency and damping, and the importance of including compressibility of the liquid is discussed. For wide channels, approximate results are presented that account for finite acoustic impedance of the plates.  相似文献

A simple approximate, yet quite accurate, Ritz method analysis is presented for dealing with vibration of completely free annular plates having polar orthotropic characteristics. It is shown that the method is readily applicable to the determination of approximate frequency values for solid circular plates. The natural frequencies of these plates are obtained for the various orthotropic parameters, and comparison is made with exact values for isotropic cases, showing excellent agreement.  相似文献

We study thickness-shear vibration of a quartz plate connected to two piezoelectric ceramic plates with initial deformations caused by a biasing electric field. The theory for small deformations superposed on finite biasing deformations in an electroelastic body is used. It is shown that the resonant frequencies of the incremental thickness-shear vibration of the quartz plate vary with the biasing electric field. The biasing electric field induced frequency shift depends linearly on the field. Therefore this effect may be used for electric field sensing. The dependence of the electric field induced frequency shift on various material and geometric parameters is examined. When the electric field is of the order of 100 V/mm, the relative frequency shift is of the order of 10−5. The case when the piezoelectric plates are replaced by piezomagnetic plates is also investigated for magnetic field sensing, and similar results are obtained.  相似文献

Fundamental frequencies of vibrating circularly periodic plates with a circular core have been determined analytically. A boundary perturbation method is developed to extract the fundamental eigenvalue of the governing biharmonic boundary value problem. The method is then applied to wavy and polygonal plates with clamped and simply supported outer boundary conditions. Clamped, simply supported, and free circular cores are considered. Approximate analytical formulations of the fundamental frequency for such plates with core are obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, an analytical solution is provided for the nonlinear free vibration behavior of plates made of functionally graded materials. The material properties of the functionally graded plates are assumed to vary continuously through the thickness, according to a power-law distribution of the volume fraction of the constituents. The fundamental equations for thin rectangular plates of functionally graded materials are obtained using the von Karman theory for large transverse deflection, and the solution is obtained in terms of mixed Fourier series. The effect of material properties, boundary conditions and thermal loading on the dynamic behavior of the plates is determined and discussed. The results reveal that nonlinear coupling effects play a major role in dictating the fundamental frequency of functionally graded plates.  相似文献

In this paper, dispersive behavior and band structure of SH waves in magnetic–electric (ME) periodically layered plate are investigated by the transfer matrix method. Two kinds of unit cell form, one is piezoelectric (PE)/piezomagnetic (PM)/PE, and the other is PM/PE/PM, are considered in detailed. A peculiar case of the generalized single-celled plate is first presented and then the multi-celled periodical layered plates for discussion on the propagation behaviors and the band characteristics of SH waves, respectively. The effects on dispersive curves of four kinds of ME boundary conditions at the free surface of plates are discussed. Numerical examples for phase velocities or frequencies all show that the zero-order mode is non-dispersive both for single-celled and multi-celled periodically layered plates. The high modes of dispersive curves tend to the shear wave velocity of the slower sub-layer as frequencies increase both for these two structures. The frequency pass-band and frequency band gaps appear in multi-layered ME periodically layered plates. Electrical and magnetic boundary conditions, respectively, determine the dispersive curves for SH waves in the PE/PM/PE and PM/PE/PM periodically layered plates.  相似文献

压电振子是新一代方位声波测井仪器中相控圆弧阵声波辐射器的重要组成部分。利用有限元法对构成圆弧阵的压电振子进行了设计分析,结果显示了压电振子存在多阶弯曲振动模态,且长度方向一阶弯曲振动能够满足方位声波测井的工作频率要求。针对长度方向一阶弯曲振动模式,数值模拟了几何尺寸对压电振子性能参数的影响。压电振子的谐振频率随着陶瓷片长度、基片或陶瓷片厚度的减小而降低;压电振子的辐射声功率随着陶瓷片长度或压电振子宽度的增加、基片或陶瓷片厚度的减小而增大;合理地选取长度和厚度可使压电振子具有较高的机电耦合系数。数值模拟结果可以对圆弧阵结构优化设计起到良好的指导作用。  相似文献

The real time technique of time-averaged holographic interferometry has been applied to determine the natural frequencies and the corresponding mode shapes for the transverse vibrations of clamped wedge-shaped and ring-shaped sector plates. Over 200 resonant modes have been obtained for wedge-shaped sector plates and over 170 for ring-shaped sector plates. The natural frequencies obtained have been expressed in terms of a dimensionless frequency parameter, and the results are shown graphically as a function of the sector angle for the wedge-shaped plates and of the radii ratio for the ring-shaped sector plates, respectively. Some of the present results for wedge-shaped plates are compared with the analytical values obtained by other authors.  相似文献

Electrodynamic properties of finite-length layered media consisting of a sequence of dielectric plates separated from each other by air interlayers are studied. The transmission and reflection coefficients for a wave incident at such a medium are calculated by the technique of the response matrices. It is shown that a set of plates in a waveguide has alternate bands of transparency and opacity. Phenomenon of trapping of a wave excited in a set of plates in a certain frequency range is investigated.  相似文献

Vibration intensity technique is used to measure vibration power transmission in thin single layer technical orthotropic plates for flexural waves. Measurement of flexural wave power is carried out in far-field conditions. All measurements are undertaken in the frequency domain using the cross-spectra of acceleration signals, facilitating the use of FFT analyzer. The two-transducer technique applicable to these plates is used for these measurements. Technical orthotropic (rectangular corrugation) plates of steel are used for the measurements. One isotropic plate of steel is also considered for comparison. Method of elastic equivalence technique is used. Both input power and vibration power transmission through the plates are estimated. Far-field power is normalized with the input power for flexural wave. Influence of flexural rigidity on vibration energy transfer is also investigated.  相似文献

In this paper, free vibration of beams, annular plates, and rectangular plates with free boundaries are analyzed by using the discrete singular convolution (DSC). A novel method to apply the free boundary conditions is proposed. Detailed derivations are given. To validate the proposed method, eight examples, including the free vibrations of beams, annular plates and rectangular plates with free boundaries are analyzed. Two kernels, the regularized Shannon's kernel and the non-regularized Lagrange's delta sequence kernel, are tested. DSC results are compared with either analytical solutions or/and differential quadrature (DQ) data. It is demonstrated that the proposed method to incorporate the free boundary conditions is simple to use and can yield accurate frequency data for beams with a free end and plates with free edges. Thus, the proposed method for applying the boundary conditions extends the application range of the DSC.  相似文献

对高功率超声脉冲作用下金属板中的超谐波、次谐波、准次谐波以及混沌等非线性振动现象进行了实验和理论研究.在实验中,高功率超声换能器产生脉冲调制的高频振动激励金属板产生非线性振动,利用激光测振技术测量不同尺寸和不同固定方式下金属板复杂的非线性振动情况,并对其进行了时序分析、频谱分析以及相空间分析.根据实验条件,提出包含非线性接触阻尼的振动-碰撞动力学模型,用以研究强超声振动-碰撞作用下的板非线性振动机制,并进行了相应的理论计算.计算结果表明,超声换能器的变幅杆与金属板之间的间歇性高频碰撞作用是金属板强非线性振 关键词: 非线性板振动 强超声脉冲激发 振动-碰撞动力学  相似文献

设计了一种半外腔微片Nd∶YAG正交偏振双频激光器。把2个1/4波片置于激光谐振腔内,一个静止,一个作360°旋转,旋转引起2个1/4波片快轴之间的角度变化被激光器转化成激光2个频率之差的变化,从而输出可调谐的双频激光。采用琼斯矩阵对光在腔内的本征模进行分析,给出了双频频差的理论解释。讨论了一种体积小、分辨率高和可整周测量的新型Nd∶YAG激光测角仪的潜在前景。  相似文献

The orthogonally linearly polarized dual frequency Nd: YA G lasers with two quarter wave plates in laser resonator are proposed. The intra-cavity variable birefringence, which is caused by relative rotation of these two wave plates in laser inner cavity, results in the frequency difference of the dual frequency laser also changeable. The theory model based on the Jones matrix is presented, as well as experimental results. The potential application of this phenomenon in precision roll-angle measurement is also discussed.  相似文献

An analytical method, based on the transformation of cylindrical wave functions, is presented for calculating the free transverse vibrations of uniform circular plates and membranes with eccentric holes. The wave equations governing the small transverse motion of the plates and membranes are solved exactly to satisfy the boundary conditions at both inner and outer edges, and the associated frequency equations for the plates and membranes are derived. The analysis also includes the vibrations of uniform circular plates and membranes with concentric holes as special cases. Numerical examples are presented to show the dependence of the eigenfrequency on the eccentricity and on the ratio of the inner radius to outer radius. The main purpose of the paper is to illustrate that an exact, analytical solution of the vibrations of eccentric annular plates and membranes can be obtained.  相似文献
