We develop a new block spin transformation and apply it to the 2D O(N) spin model. The transformation does not yield complicated non-local terms and then the transformation recursion formula seems to be controllable for any initial inverse temperature > 0. The main part of the block spin transformation of the model with large N converges to a massive state, no matter how low the initial temperature 1/ is, and is close to the flow of the hierarchical model advocated by Dyson and Wilson several decades ago.  相似文献

Renormalization group recursion formulas for classical O(N) spin models in two dimensions are obtained. The main part of the recursion formulas is solved and yields the flows which are very close to those of the hierarchical model approximations of Dyson–Wilson type. We find that the coherent state projection operator representation of the two-mode squeezing operator constitutes a loyal group representation of symplectic group, which is a remarkable property of the coherent state. As a consequence, the resultant effect of successively applying two-mode squeezing operators are equivalent to a single squeezing in the two-mode Fock space. In this paper we present systematic differential representations for the dynamical group SO(4). These representations include the left and the right differential representations and the left and the right adjoint differential representations in both the group parameter space and its coset spaces. They are the generalization of the differential representations of the SO(3) rotation group in the Euler angles. The electron spin correlation is shown to be expressible in terms of a bona fide probability distribution function with an associated geometric representation. With this aim, an analysis is presented of the probabilistic features of the spin correlation within the quantum formalism, which helps clarify the concepts of contextuality and measurement dependence. The dependence of the spin correlation on conditional probabilities allows for a clear separation between system state and measurement context; the latter determines how the probability space should be partitioned in calculating the correlation. A probability distribution function ρ(ϕ) is then proposed, which reproduces the quantum correlation for a pair of single-particle spin projections and is amenable to a simple geometric representation that gives meaning to the variable ϕ. The same procedure is shown to be applicable to the bipartite system in the singlet spin state. This endows the spin correlation with a clear probabilistic meaning and leaves the door open for a possible physical picture of the electron spin, as discussed at the end of the paper.  相似文献

We present the preliminary results on the spin alignment matrix elementρ_(00)for vector mesons K~(*0)(892)andφ(1020)in mid-central(20%—60%)Au Au and p p collisions at S_(NN)~(1/2)=200GeV.The values ofρ_(00)with respect to reaction plane in Au Au collisions are 0.36±0.02(stat)±0.13(sys)for K~(*0)(892)and 0.38±0.01(stat)±0.04(sys)forφ(1020).No evident global spin alignment with respect to reaction plane is observed in the measured p_T region up to 5GeV/c with current sensitivity,ρ_(00)with respect to the production plane of the vector meson is also measured for K~(*0)(892)andφ(1020)in Au Au collisions,and forφ(1020)in p p collisions.No significant difference for theρ_(00)between Au Au and p p collisions is observed with our data sample.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to find exact solutions of the Dirac equation in(1+1) space-time beyond the already known class.We consider exact spin(and pseudo-spin) symmetric Dirac equations where the scalar potential is equal to plus(and minus) the vector potential.We also include pseudo-scalar potentials in the interaction.The spinor wavefunction is written as a bounded sum in a complete set of square integrable basis,which is chosen such that the matrix representation of the Dirac wave operator is tridiagonal and symmetric.This makes the matrix wave equation a symmetric three-term recursion relation for the expansion coefficients of the wavefunction.We solve the recursion relation exactly in terms of orthogonal polynomials and obtain the state functions and corresponding relativistic energy spectrum and phase shift.  相似文献

In this paper we propose a new inflation model named( p, q) inflation model in which the inflaton potential contains both positive and negative powers of inflaton field in the polynomial form. We derive the accurate predictions of the canonical single-field slow-roll inflation model. Using these formula, we show that our inflation model can easily generate a large amplitude of tensor perturbation and a negative running of spectral index with large absolute value.  相似文献
