The last decade has been dense with new developments in the search for the sources of Galactic cosmic rays. Some of these developments have confirmed the tight connection between cosmic rays and supernovae in our Galaxy, through the detection of gamma rays and the observation of thin non-thermal X-ray rims in supernova remnants. Some others, such as the detection of features in the spectra of some chemicals, opened new questions on the propagation of cosmic rays in the Galaxy and on details of the acceleration process. Here, I will summarize some of these developments and their implications for our understanding of the origin of cosmic rays. I will also discuss some new avenues that are being pursued in testing the supernova origin of Galactic cosmic rays.  相似文献

The discrete complex cubic Ginzburg-Landau equation is an important model to describe a number of physical systems such as Taylor and frustrated vortices in hydrodynamics and semiconductor laser arrays in optics. In this paper, the exact solutions of the discrete complex cubic Ginzburg-Landau equation are derived using homogeneous balance principle and the G' / G-expansion method, and the linear stability of exact solutions is discussed.  相似文献

We introduce the Euler-Lagrange cohomology to study the symplectic and multisymplectic structures and their preserving properties in finite and infinite dimensional Lagrangian systems respectively.We also explore their certain difference discrete counterparts in the relevant regularly discretized finite and infinite dimensional Lagrangian systems by means of the difference discrete variational principle with the difference being regarded as an entire grometric object and the noncommutative differential calculus on regular lattice.In order to show that in all these cases the symplectic and multisymplectic preserving properties do not necessarily depend on the relevant Euler-Lagrange equations,the Euler-Lagrange cohomological concepts and content in the configuration space are employed.  相似文献

With the help of three shift operators and r-matrix theory, a few discrete lattice systems are obtained which can be reduced to the well-known Toda lattice equation with a constraint whose Hamiltonian structures are generated by Poisson tensors of some induced Lie–Poisson bracket. The recursion operators of these lattice systems are constructed starting from Lax representations. Finally, reducing the given shift operators to get a simpler one and its expanding shift operators, we produce a lattice system with three vector fields whose recursion operator is given. Furthermore,we reduce the lattice system with three vector fields to get a lattice system whose Lax pair and conservation laws are obtained, respectively.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the mathematical models of discrete memristors based on Caputo fractional difference and G–L fractional difference. Specifically, the integer-order discrete memristor is a special model of those two cases. The “”-type hysteresis loop curves are observed when input is the bipolar periodic signal. Meanwhile, numerical analysis results show that the area of hysteresis decreases with the increase of frequency of input signal and the decrease of derivative order. Moreover, the memory effect, characteristics and physical realization of the discrete memristors are discussed, and a discrete memristor with short memory effects is designed. Furthermore, discrete memristive systems are designed by introducing the fractional-order discrete memristor and integer-order discrete memristor to the Sine map. Chaos is found in the systems, and complexity of the systems is controlled by the parameter of the memristor. Finally, FPGA digital circuit implementation is carried out for the integer-order and fractional-order discrete memristor and discrete memristive systems, which shows the potential application value of the discrete memristor in the engineering application field.  相似文献

In this paper, based on the discrete zero curvature representation, isospectrai and nonisospectrai lattice hierarchies are proposed. We propose the difference discrete variational principle in discrete mechanics and symplectic algorithm with variable step-length of time in finite duration based upon a noncommutative differential calculus established in this paper. This approach keeps both symplecticity and energy conservation discretely. We show that there exists the discrete version of the Euler-Lagrange cohomology in these discrete systems. We also discuss the solution existence in finite time-length and its site density in continuous limit, and apply our approach to the pendulum with periodic perturbation. Compact-like discrete breathers in discrete one-dimensional monatomic chains are investigated by discussing a generalized discrete one-dimensional monatomic model. It is proven that compact-like discrete breathers exist not only in soft Ф^4 potential but also in hard Ф^4 potential and K4 chains. The measurements of compact-like discrete breathers' core in soft and hard Ф^4 potential are determined by coupling parameter K4, while the measurements of compact-like discrete breathers' core in K4 chains are not related to coupling parameter K4. The stabilities of compact-like discrete breathers correlate closely to coupling parameter K4 and the boundary condition of lattice.  相似文献

We study the supersymmetric GUT models in which the supersymmetry and GUT gauge symmetry can be broken by a discrete symmetry. First, with the ansatz that there exist discrete symmetries in the branes' neighborhoods, we discuss the general reflection symmetries and GUT breaking on and . In those models, the extra dimensions can be large and the KK states can be set arbitrarily heavy. Second, considering that the extra space manifold is the annulus or the disc , we can define any symmetry and break any 6-dimensional N=2 supersymmetric SU(M) models down to the 4-dimensional N=1 supersymmetric models for the zero modes. In particular, there might exist the interesting scenario on where just a few KK states are light, while the others are relatively heavy.
