It has been shown that the so-called dispersionless localized waves (polaritons) can exist in a bicrystal formed by two identical crystals. The optical axes of these crystals lie at the interface at a certain angle to one another. The exact analytic expression is derived for the velocity of the wave propagating along the bisector of the angle between the optical axes in the upper and the lower parts of the bicrystal. The wave structure is analyzed for several limiting cases.  相似文献

采用基于密度泛函理论第一性原理的赝势平面波方法,计算了块体Fe2Ge及其(001)表面的电子结构和磁性。考虑了两种类型的终端(001)表面:Ge(Ⅰ)-(001)表面和Ge(Ⅱ)-(001)表面。电子结构方面,不同类型的Fe2Ge(001)表面都表现出金属特性,这与块体的金属性保持一致。通过计算它们的自旋极化率,得出Ge(Ⅰ)-(001)表面的自旋极化程度最高。磁性方面,在块体和Ge(Ⅱ)-(001)表面的Ge原子是铁磁自旋有序的,而在Ge(Ⅰ)-(001)表面第一层的Ge原子是亚铁磁自旋有序的。此外,Ge(Ⅱ)-(001)表面Ge原子的自旋磁矩优于块体中和Ge(Ⅰ)-(001)表面Ge原子的自旋磁矩。这些结果与Fe的d态和Ge的p态电子的杂化有关,本文中通过分析它们的态密度进行了讨论。  相似文献

Porous diamond-like-carbon (PDLC) thin films obtained on silicon substrate by DC low energy magnetron sputtering have been investigated by photoluminescence, transmission and reflection spectroscopy, photoacoustic and spectroscopic ellipsometry. The absorption features observed for these films show similarities with those of porous silicon (PS) as well as in the performed gradient structural pattern classification of the SFM porosity, by means of the computational GPA-flyby environment on PS and PDLC samples. The dielectric function is also calculated for the bulk diamond-like carbon using the full-potential linearized augmented plane wave method within the framework of local density approximation to density functional theory. From the measurement a low real dielectric constant of about 4.5 at 0.8 eV was found whereas the calculated e1(0) for the bulk diamond has a value of 5.5.  相似文献

The possible resonance excitation of surface electromagnetic waves by the bulk waves at the interface between a positive transparent uniaxial crystal and an isotropic medium has been predicted. The existence of the surface waves is provided by anisotropy of one of the boundary media. The tensor relation between the vector amplitudes of an exciting bulk electromagnetic wave and the excited surface wave is established. The ratio of the moduli of the tangential components of these amplitudes is analyzed as a function of the angle of incidence and the polarization of the bulk wave. The numerical calculations are performed for the surface waves at the interface between paratellurite TeO2 and a KRS-6 (TlBr 30%-TlCl 70%) crystal.  相似文献

A compact analytical representation for the dispersion equation, which determins the propagation velocity of surface polaritons in an arbitrarily oriented interface between an optically uniaxial crystal and isotropic medium, is proposed. The equation obtained is reduced to a rational fourth-order equation with respect to the square of velocity. The approximate form of this equation for the limiting case (the medium adjacent to a crystal is a metal with a high complex permittivity) coincides with the result following from the Leontovich impedance approximation.  相似文献

The features of transmission of TE and TM polaritons through an interface between magnetic and nonmagnetic media and their localization at the interface in an external dc electric field have been studied. This field is directed along the hard magnetization axis. The magnetic medium is an easy-plane tetragonal antiferromagnet; it is odd with respect to inversion. A magnetic plate and a 1D magnetic photonic crystal in an external dc electric field, oriented normally to the interface, are considered.  相似文献

The transformations of the shear (SH and SV) and longitudinal (L) acoustic waves at the twist boundary in piezoelectrics of ?62m and ?42m the and classes have been investigated. This boundary is formed at a hard contact between two identical crystal half-spaces rotated relative to each other around the Z||?6||?4 axis by an angle 2?. Propagation occurs along the bisector of this angle (х axis) in the (x, y) twist plane. Situations have been established in which the shear modes are localized at the twist boundary exclusively due to the combination of the piezoelectric effect and half-space rotation, as well as the joint effect of the elastic anisotropy and rotation. The cases of independence of a bulk wave of the half-space rotation and occurrence of leaky waves are described.  相似文献

We fabricated organic light-emitting transistors (OLETs) characterized by an Ag layer deposited on a one-dimensional (1D) or two-dimensional (2D) diffraction grating that acts as a combined gate insulator with SiO2. The Ag layer was entirely covered with an organic crystal. Upon photoexcitation that crystal showed narrow linewidth emissions (NLEs) parallel to the substrate plane. The narrowed lines were either redshifted or blueshifted with rotation of the crystal around a normal to its surface with respect to the grating wave vector. Strong emissions (~104–106 cd m?2) accompanied by current-injected NLEs were observed from the 1D and 2D grating OLETs.  相似文献

由于具有将电磁波聚集到深亚波长体积的能力,表面等离激元在纳米光子技术研究工作中得到了广泛的应用。根据其性质,表面等离激元基本可以分为两大类:沿金属与介质界面传播的表面等离极化激元(SPPs)和束缚在金属表面的局域表面等离激元(LSPRs)。SPPs和对应的自由空间电磁波之间存在明显的动量失配,光栅,即一维等离激元晶格,经常被用于弥补动量失配,从自由空间激发SPPs。LSPRs是指在外部光场激发下局域在单个纳米结构周围的表面等离激元。当LSPRs被激发时,会形成近场增强效应,增大对入射光的吸收和散射。事实上,一维等离激元晶格既支持SPPs又支持LSPRs,是研究表面等离激元及其光学性质的很好的基本结构。由于LSPR这个自由度的存在,其中存在着比光子晶体更丰富的能带结构。本文将以一维等离激元晶格为研究对象,分别从能带调控、表面晶格共振、连续域中的束缚态以及玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚四个方面阐述金属等离激元的新颖性质和最新进展。这些性质对于进一步推动表面等离激元的应用具有重要意义。  相似文献

The exact dispersion equations describing the resonant excitation of a polariton-plasmon at the crystal-metal interface, which were previously analytically studied within the approximate impedance approach, have been numerically analyzed. The results of an exact numerical analysis and an approximate analytical consideration almost coincide in the long-wave limit (IR region). Conversion arises simultaneously with the resonance: the incident pump wave is completely converted into a polariton of the other polarization branch, which is localized at the crystal boundary, while the amplitude of the reflected bulk wave of the same branch is zero. When passing from the IR range to the visible region, the decrease in the wavelength leads to an increasing difference in the conditions for the existence of resonance and conversion reflections and the height of the resonance peak becomes distinctly smaller than the value predicted by the approximate theory. The parameters of the resonant and conversion reflections have been calculated for optically uniaxial saltpe- ter and calomel crystals with an aluminum coating for the wavelength range of 0.4–5.0 μm.  相似文献

The boundary problem for a semi-infinite magnetic medium with an arbitrary orientation of the magnetization vector has been solved. The polarization and intensity characteristics of the reflected light wave are analyzed. It is shown that the variations of the incidence angle, magnetization orientation, and polarization plane substantially affect the polarization characteristics and give rise to typical features in the dependences studied.  相似文献

The concentration, size and spatial distribution of Te inclusions in the bulk of CdMnTe crystals mined from two batches of ingots were studied. An isolated planar layer decorated with Te inclusions was identified in CdMnTe crystals from the second ingot. The internal electric field of a CMT crystal was probed by infrared (IR) imaging employing Pockels electro-optic effect. The effect of an isolated plane of Te inclusions on the internal electric-field distribution within the CdMnTe crystal was studied. Space charge accumulation around the plane of Te inclusions was observed, which was found to be higher when the detector was reverse-biased. The effects of the plane of Te inclusions on the electric-field distribution within the CdMnTe crystal, and the quality of CdMnTe crystals for nuclear detector applications are discussed.  相似文献

The regularities of the topographic contrast formation in weakly deformed nonabsorbing crystals in the Bragg geometry for the diffraction of a plane X-ray wave have been investigated by the method of Riemann functions. It is shown that in this case the extinction contrast has an interference character, alternates, and is proportional to the strain gradient rather than to the squared strain (like in the case of strong lattice distortions). The data of the analysis are compared with the results of a model numerical experiment. The possibility of implementing an X-ray-acoustic resonance in the Bragg geometry is shown.  相似文献

Thin SiO2 layers prepared by oxidizing an organo-silane in an Ar/O2 rf plasma discharge produce parallel alignment for nematic liquid crystals with essentially zero tilt. In addition, if the rf plasma system is arranged to produce an Ar/O2 beam, uniform parallel alignment can now be obtained with the director in the substrate plane at an angle perpendicular to the plane of incidence of the rf plasma beam. We have studied the aligning properties of such films using the evanescent wave generated by attenuated total reflection (ATR) on a thin gold film when a surface electromagnetic wave is excited. Liquid crystal cells were constructed on a high index glass prism with a 500 Å gold film and a 200 Å aligning layer. By following the ATR minimum as a function of applied electric field, the tilt at the interface of the liquid crystal and the aligning layer was calculated.  相似文献

在5G通信时代,体声波(BAW)滤波器件成为实现高性能射频(RF)滤波的有效解决方案。在当前BAW器件发展最成熟的薄膜体声波谐振器(FBAR)技术和专利被少数几家公司持有的大环境下,对压电薄膜生长、器件的制备工艺等方面进行突破,形成独有的BAW器件技术路线显得尤为重要。本文综述了AlN薄膜的生长、AlN材料在BAW滤波器件的发展、基于AlN的BAW器件的制备及其应用。在国内研究者的努力下,基于单晶AlN的体声波谐振器(SABAR)器件,通过在材料生长方法及制备工艺上的独立自主创新,不仅使BAW滤波器件的性能得到了进一步提升,也给受到国外掣肘的国内射频滤波行业带来了一条摆脱国外“卡脖子”问题的新路线。  相似文献

The method of plasma (ionic) etching provides information on both the degree of damage and the real structure of a treated surface of a cleavage crystallographic plane (110). The altered surface structure of this plane, which is due to cutting, grinding and polishing, is a cause of a rapid loss of calomel at the beginning of the etching process. The minimum loss rate is directly proportional to the thickness of the damaged surface. The ensuring rapid loss of calomel is due to an increased ruggedness of the surface. The ionic etching of calomel on the crystallographic plane (110) proceeds in six phases which are documented in photographs. The method of ionic etching is promissing for a high-quality treatment of surfaces of calomel acousto-optical functional elements designed for connections with ultrasound transducers.  相似文献

The intensity distributions of diffuse X-ray scattering caused by domains characterized by the transverse wave of atomic displacements polarized in the (010) plane and propagating along the [001] direction are calculated by numerical methods analyzed in the kinematical approximation. The regular changes in the intensity and half-width of the satellite peaks are revealed as functions of the wave amplitude and the average domain size. The characteristic features of diffraction are considered in the case where the defect-density wave in the crystal affects the parameters of the displacement wave.  相似文献
