We prove that C2+α,1+α/2 (Q?) solutions of problem (1.6) below are in a subspace Hcm+2(Q) of Hm+2,(m+2)/2(Q) for all m ∈ ?, if f and the coefficients are in Hcm(Q)∪Cα,α/2 (Q?). We apply this result to obtain global existence of Sobolev solutions to the quasilinear problem (1.26) below.  相似文献

We consider a class of L 1 critical nonlocal aggregation equations with linear or nonlinear porous media-type diffusion which are characterized by a long-range interaction potential that decays faster than the Newtonian potential at infinity. The fast decay breaks the L 1 scaling symmetry and we prove that all ‘sufficiently spread out’ initial data, even with supercritical mass, results in global, decaying solutions. In particular, we produce decaying solutions with arbitrary mass in cases for which finite time blow up solutions or non-decaying solutions are also known to exist for sufficiently large mass. This is in contrast to the classical parabolic-elliptic PKS for which essentially all solutions with supercritical mass blow up in finite time. The results with linear diffusion are proved using properties of the Fokker-Planck semi-group whereas the results with nonlinear diffusion are proved using a more interesting bootstrap argument coupling the entropy-entropy dissipation methods of the porous media equation together with higher L p estimates similar to those used in small-data and local theory for PKS-type equations.  相似文献

We study Hessian fully nonlinear uniformly elliptic equations and show that the second derivatives of viscosity solutions of those equations (in 12 or more dimensions) can blow up in an interior point of the domain. We prove that the optimal interior regularity of such solutions is no more than C1+?, showing the optimality of the known interior regularity result. The same is proven for Isaacs equations. We prove the existence of non-smooth solutions to fully nonlinear Hessian uniformly elliptic equations in 11 dimensions. We study also the possible singularity of solutions of Hessian equations defined in a neighborhood of a point and prove that a homogeneous order 0<α<1 solution of a Hessian uniformly elliptic equation in a punctured ball should be radial.  相似文献

In this article, we prove the existence of solutions to singular coagulation equations with multifragmentation. We use weighted L1 spaces to deal with the singularities and to obtain regular solutions. The Smoluchowski kernel is covered by our proof. The weak L1 compactness methods are applied to suitably chosen approximating equations as a base of our proof. A more restrictive uniqueness result is also given. Summary. For a certain class of partial differential equations in cylindrical domains, we show that all small time-dependent solutions are described by a reduced system of equations on the real line, which contains nonlocal terms. As an application, we investigate the system describing nonlinear water waves travelling on the free surface of an inviscid fluid. Two-dimensional gravity waves are characterized by the parameter λ , the inverse square of the Froude number. For λ close to the critical value λ 0 =1 , we obtain a reduced system of four nonlocal equations. We show that the terms of lowest order in μ=λ-1 lead to the Korteweg—de Vries equation for the lowest-order approximation of the free surface. We propose a unified functional analytic approach to derive a variation of constants formula for a wide class of fractional differential equations using results on (a,?k)-regularized families of bounded and linear operators, which covers as particular cases the theories of C 0-semigroups and cosine families. Using this approach we study the existence of mild solutions to fractional differential equation with nonlocal conditions. We also investigate the asymptotic behaviour of mild solutions to abstract composite fractional relaxation equations. We include in our analysis the Basset and Bagley–Torvik equations.  相似文献

We present a uniqueness theorem for time-periodic solutions to the Navier–Stokes equations in unbounded domains. Thus far, results on the uniqueness of time-periodic solutions to the Navier–Stokes equations in unbounded domain, roughly speaking, have only found that a small time-periodic L n -solution is unique within the class of solutions which have sufficiently small L (L n )-norm. In this paper, we show that a small time-periodic L n -solution is unique within the class of all time-periodic L n -solutions, which contains large solutions. We also consider the uniqueness of solutions in weak-L n space. The proof of the present uniqueness theorem is based on the method of dual equations.   相似文献

This paper is devoted to the numerical study of diffraction by periodic structures of plane waves under oblique incidence. For this situation Maxwell's equations can be reduced to a system of two Helmholtz equations in R 2 coupled via quasiperiodic transmission conditions on the piecewise smooth interfaces between different materials. The numerical analysis is based on a strongly elliptic variational formulation of the differential problem in a bounded periodic cell involving nonlocal boundary operators. We obtain existence and uniqueness results for discrete solutions and provide the corresponding error analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, we study mean-field backward stochastic differential equations driven by G-Brownian motion (G-BSDEs). We first obtain the existence and uniqueness theorem of these equations. In fact, we can obtain local solutions by constructing Picard contraction mapping for Y term on small interval, and the global solution can be obtained through backward iteration of local solutions. Then, a comparison theorem for this type of mean-field G-BSDE is derived. Furthermore, we establish the connection of this mean-field G-BSDE and a nonlocal partial differential equation. Finally, we give an application of mean-field G-BSDE in stochastic differential utility model.  相似文献

We study the Dirichlet problem for the stationary Oseen equations around a rotating body in an exterior domain. Our main results are the existence and uniqueness of weak and very weak solutions satisfying appropriate Lq‐estimates. The uniqueness of very weak solutions is shown by the method of cut‐off functions with an anisotropic decay. Then our existence result for very weak solutions is deduced by a duality argument from the existence and estimates of strong solutions. From this and interior regularity of very weak solutions, we finally establish the complete D1,r‐result for weak solutions of the Oseen equations around a rotating body in an exterior domain, where 4/3<r <4. Here, D1,r is the homogeneous Sobolev space.  相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with a class of abstract second-order nonlocal Cauchy problem with impulsive conditions in Banach spaces. First, we study the existence of mild solutions for a class of second-order nonlocal Cauchy problem with impulsive conditions in Banach spaces on an interval [0,a]. Later, we study a couple of cases where we can establish the existence of global solutions for a class of abstract second-order nonlocal Cauchy problem with impulsive conditions in Banach spaces. We apply our theory to study the existence of solutions for impulsive partial differential equations.  相似文献

We study well-posedness of a class of nonlocal interaction equations with spatially dependent mobility. We also allow for the presence of boundaries and external potentials. Such systems lead to the study of nonlocal interaction equations on subsets ? of ? d endowed with a Riemannian metric g. We obtain conditions, relating the interaction potential and the geometry, which imply existence, uniqueness and stability of solutions. We study the equations in the setting of gradient flows in the space of probability measures on ? endowed with Riemannian 2-Wasserstein metric.  相似文献

We consider the uniqueness of bounded continuous L3, ∞-solutions on the whole time axis to the Navier-Stokes equations in 3-dimensional unbounded domains. Here, Lp, q denotes the scale of Lorentz spaces. Thus far, uniqueness of such solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations in unbounded domain, roughly speaking, is known only for a small solution in BC(?; L3, ∞) within the class of solutions which have sufficiently small L(L3, ∞)-norm. In this paper, we discuss another type of uniqueness theorem for solutions in BC(?; L3, ∞) using a smallness condition for one solution and a precompact range condition for the other one. The proof is based on the method of dual equations.  相似文献

Assuming that the external forces of the system are small enough, the reference temperature being a periodic function, we study the existence, the uniqueness and the regularity of time-periodic solutions for the Boussinesq equations in several classes of unbounded domains of Rn. Our analysis is based on the framework of weak-Lp spaces.  相似文献

In this paper we prove nonexistence of stationary weak solutions to the Euler–Poisson equations and the Navier–Stokes–Poisson equations in ? N , N ≥ 2, under suitable assumptions of integrability for the density, velocity and the potential of the force field. For the time dependent Euler–Poisson equations we prove nonexistence result assuming additionally temporal asymptotic behavior near infinity of the second moment of density. For a class of time dependent Navier–Stokes–Poisson equations in ? N this asymptotic behavior of the density can be proved if we assume the standard energy inequality, and therefore the nonexistence of global weak solution follows from more plausible assumption in this case.  相似文献

We study the problem of global exponential stabilization of original Burgers' equations and the Burgers' equation with nonlocal nonlinearities by controllers depending on finitely many parameters. We investigate both equations by employing controllers based on finitely many Fourier modes and the latter equation by employing finitely many volume elements. To ensure global exponential stabilization, we have provided sufficient conditions on the control parameters for each problem. We also show that solutions of the controlled equations are steering a concrete solution of the non-controlled system as t with an exponential decay rate.  相似文献

We consider the Cauchy problem for the system of semilinear damped wave equations with small initial data:
We show that a critical exponent which classifies the global existence and the finite time blow up of solutions indeed coincides with the one to a corresponding semilinear heat systems with small data. The proof of the global existence is based on the LpLq estimates of fundamental solutions for linear damped wave equations [K. We present a variational approach to study the energy-critical Schrödinger equations with subcritical perturbations. Through analysing the Hamiltonian property we establish two types of invariant evolution flows, and derive a new sharp energy criterion for blowup of solutions for the equation. Furthermore, we answer the question: how small are the initial data such that the solutions of this equation are bounded in H 1(R N )?  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the interaction between a rigid body and an incompressible, homogeneous, viscous fluid. This fluid-solid system is assumed to fill the whole space ℝ d , d = 2 or 3. The equations for the fluid are the classical Navier-Stokes equations whereas the motion of the rigid body is governed by the standard conservation laws of linear and angular momentum. The time variation of the fluid domain (due to the motion of the rigid body) is not known a priori, so we deal with a free boundary value problem. We improve the known results by proving a complete wellposedness result: our main result yields a local in time existence and uniqueness of strong solutions for d = 2 or 3. Moreover, we prove that the solution is global in time for d = 2 and also for d = 3 if the data are small enough.
