Bis(N-(pyrrol-2-ylmethyl)-N-isopropyldithiocarbamato-S,S′)nickel(II) (1) and (N-(pyrrol-2-ylmethyl)-N-isopropyldithiocarbamato-S,S′)(thiocyanato-N)(triphenylphosphine)nickel(II) (2) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H, and13C NMR and UV-visible absorption spectra. In addition, the structures of 2 and (N-(pyrrol-2-ylmethyl)-N-butyldithiocarbamato-S,S′)(thiocyanato-N)(triphenylphosphine)nickel(II) (3) have been elucidated by X-ray crystallography. UV-vis spectral data are consistent with the formation of square planar complexes. The crystal structures of 2 and 3 reveal S2NP square-planar configuration around the Ni atom. A rare C–H···Ni short contact interaction was observed in complex 3 involving ortho-hydrogen atom of one of the phenyl ring of the triphenylphosphine. DFT calculations on complexes 2 and 3are in close agreement with the crystallographic results. The energy gap between HOMO and LUMO for 2 and 3 is 2.7167 and 2.6936 eV, respectively. Molecular electrostatic potential analysis of 2 and 3 support the partial double character of thioureide C–N bond.  相似文献

Two homochiral metallosalen complexes, Ni(salen) (salen = (1R,2R)-(-)-diaminocyclohexane-N,N'-bis(3-tert-butyl-5-(4'-benzoic acid)-salicylidene) 1 and Cu(salen) 2, have been synthesized and characterized by IR, microanalysis, TGA, powder and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. Both 1 and 2 crystallize in orthorhombic space group P21212 with Z = 4. For 1, a = 12.082(2), b = 15.447(3), c = 18.784(4) , V = 3505.7(12) 3, Mr = 731.50, Dc = 1.386 g/cm3, μ = 0.606 mm–1, F(000) = 1544, the final GOOF = 1.043, R = 0.0496 and wR = 0.1248 for 4791 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). For 2, a = 12.181(2), b = 15.501(3), c = 18.877(4) , V = 3564.3(12) 3, Mr = 736.33, Dc = 1.372 g/cm3, μ = 0.665 mm–1, F(000) = 1548, the final GOOF = 1.062, R = 0.0575 and wR = 0.1508 for 4562 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The crystal structures of 1 and 2 are isostructural with very similar supramolecular structures. An infinite two-dimensional network is generated by hydrogen bonding interactions and intermolecular π···π interactions.  相似文献

Tri-nuclear cobalt and nickel complexes ([(CoL)2(OAc)2Co]?·?THF (I) and [(NiL)2(OAc)2(THF)2Ni]?·?THF (II)) have been synthesized by reaction of a new Salen-type bisoxime chelating ligand of 2,2′-[ethylenedioxybis(nitrilomethylidyne)]dinaphthol(H2L) with cobalt(II) acetate tetrahydrate or nickel(II) acetate tetrahydrate, respectively. Complexes I and II were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, TG-DTA and 1H-NMR etc. The X-ray crystal structures of I and II reveal that two acetate ions coordinate to three cobalt or nickel ions through M–O–C–O–M (M?=?Co or Ni) bridges and four μ-naphthoxo oxygen atoms from two [ML] units also coordinate to cobalt(II) or nickel(II). Complex I has two distorted square-pyramidal coordination spheres and an octahedral geometry around Co1. In complex II all three nickel ions are six-coordinate.  相似文献

Bis(N‐(pyrrol‐2‐ylmethyl)‐N‐butyldithiocarbamato‐S,S′)copper(II) ( 1 ), bis(N‐(pyrrol‐2‐ylmethyl)‐N‐(2‐phenylethyl)dithiocarbamato‐S,S′)copper(II) ( 2 ), bis(N‐methylferrocenyl‐N‐(2‐phenylethyl)dithiocarbamato‐S,S′)copper(II) ( 3 ) and bis(N‐furfuryl‐N‐methylferrocenyldithiocarbamato‐S,S′)copper(II) ( 4 ) were prepared and characterized using elemental analysis and infrared and UV–visible spectroscopies. X‐ray diffraction (XRD) studies on 3 show that each copper centre adopts the square planar geometry by the coordination of four sulfur atoms of the metalloligand N‐methylferrocenyl‐N‐(2‐phenylethyl)dithiocarbamate. The Cu? S distances are symmetrical and are in the range 2.293–2.305 Å. The supramolecular architecture in complex 3 is sustained in the solid state by C? H???π, C? H???S, Fe???Fe and H???H interactions. Density functional theory calculations were carried out for 3 . Anion (F?, Cl?, Br? and I?) binding studies with complex 1 were performed using cyclic voltammetry. Copper sulfide, copper–iron sulfide‐ 1 and copper–iron sulfide‐ 2 nanoparticles were prepared from complexes 2 , 3 and 4 , respectively, and they were characterized using powder XRD, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and energy‐dispersive X‐ray, UV–visible, photoluminescence and infrared spectroscopies. TEM images of copper–iron sulfide‐ 1 and copper–iron sulfide‐ 2 reveal that the particles are spherical and oval shaped, respectively. Photocatalytic activities of as‐prepared nanoparticles were studied by decolourization of methylene blue and rhodamine‐B under UV light. It was found that copper–iron sulfide degrades methylene blue and rhodamine‐B much better than does copper sulfide.  相似文献

A new asymmetrical substituted triazole, 3-phenoxymethyl-4-phenyl-5-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) and its complexes, cis-[Cu2 L 2Cl4]·2CH3CN (1) and trans-[CoL 2Cl2]·2H2O·2CH3CN (2), have been synthesized and characterized by IR, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analyses and Hirshfeld surfaces. In the structure, two L are mainly stabilized by an intermolecular C–H?N hydrogen bond. In 1 (or 2), each L involves a doubly-bidentate (or chelating bidentate) coordination mode through one pyridine and two nitrogens (or one) of triazole, respectively. Complex 1 has a distorted trigonal bipyramidal [CuN3Cl2] core with two cis Cl? while 2 shows a distorted octahedron [CoN4Cl2] with two trans Cl?. We also prepared molecular Hirshfeld surface and fingerprint plot for L, 1 and 2, which revealed the influence of different metals on coordinate of L.  相似文献

Four new coordination polymers of cobalt(II) and nickel(II) with functionalized dicarboxylate ligands, namely, [CoIIL1(2,2′-bpy)(H2O)] (1), [NiIIL1(2,2′-bpy)(H2O)]·H2O (2), [CoII2(L2)2(2,2′-bpy)2(H2O)] (3) and [NiII2(L2)2(2,2′-bpy)2(H2O)] (4), where H2L1 = 2,5-dibenzoylterephthalic acid, H2L2 = 4,6-bis(4-methylbenzoyl)isophthalic acid and 2,2′-bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra and thermogravimetric analysis. Complex 1 exhibits a zigzag chain with a C–Hπ interaction between the phenyl ring proton and the phenyl ring of an adjacent chains to form a 2D supramolecular sheet. Complex 2 contains two helical chains which extend into 2D via a C–Hπ interaction between the pyridine ring proton and the pyridine ring. Complexes 3 and 4 are isomorphous with helical chains that extend in the same direction and further link to one another by supramolecular forces into a 2D structure. Moreover, magnetic and luminescence properties have been investigated for 1 and 2, respectively.  相似文献

Two new complexes, [Ni(HL1)(N3)(μ1,1N3)]2 (1) [HL1: NC5H4CH3C=NNH (C=O) NH2] and [Ni(L2)N3] (2) [HL2: NC5H4HC=N NH(C=S)NH2], have been synthesized by reaction of Ni(OAC)2·4H2O and sodium azide with HL1 and HL2 and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, and UV–vis spectral studies. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that 1 is dinuclear with nickel(II) in an octahedral environment of NNO donors of HL1, two nitrogens of azide bridges and one nitrogen of terminal azide; 2 is mononuclear containing nickel(II) in a distorted square-planar environment of NNS donors of HL2 and one terminal azide. The structures of 1 and 2 have been optimized by density functional theory. The results of antimicrobial activities of ligands, 1 and 2 demonstrated that HL2 and 2 have good antimicrobial activity in contrast with HL1 and 1, related to the presence of sulfur donor in HL2.  相似文献

[Ni(L1)(PPh3)] (1), [Ni(L2)(PPh3)] (2), [Ni(L3)(PPh3)] (3), [Ni(L4)(PPh3)] (4) and [Ni(L5)(PPh3)] (5) (where L1, L2, L3, L4 and L5 are dianions of N-(2-mercaptophenyl)salicylideneimine, 5-methyl-N-(2-mercaptophenyl)salicylideneimine, 5-chloro-N-(2-mercaptophenyl)salicylideneimine, 5-bromo-N-(2-mercaptophenyl)salicylideneimine and N-(2-mercaptophenyl)naphthylideneimine, respectively), have been synthesized and characterized by means of elemental analysis, electronic, IR, 1H, 13C and 31P NMR spectroscopy. Single crystal X-ray analysis of two of the complexes (1 and 5) has revealed the presence of a square planar coordination geometry (ONSP) about nickel. The crystal structures of the complexes are stabilized by intermolecular π–π stacking between the ligands (L) and by various C–H···π interactions.  相似文献

Tris(N-ethylbenzimidazol-2-ylmethyl)amine (Etntb), [Mn(Etntb)(DMF)(H2O)](pic)2 (1), and [Ni(Etntb)(DMF)(H2O)](pic)2 (2) (pic?=?picrate) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductivities, UV–Visible spectra, and IR spectra. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction revealed that the complexes have the same arrangement with distorted octahedral coordination geometries. DNA-binding properties of the free ligand, 1, and 2 have been investigated by electronic absorption, fluorescence, and viscosity measurements. The results suggest that the ligand and its complexes bind DNA via intercalation, and their binding affinity for DNA follows the order 2?>?1?> ligand.  相似文献

Three mononuclear nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes, [Ni(L)2(py)2] (1), [Ni(L)2(DMF)(H2O)] (2), and [Cu(L)2] (3), where HL = 2-((Z)-(4-methoxyphenylimino)methyl)-4,6-dichlorophenol, py = pyridine and DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide, have been synthesized and their structures determined by single crystal X-ray analysis. Complexes 1–3 crystallized in the monoclinic system of the space groups C2/c, P21/n, and P21/c, respectively. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 present an octahedral geometry at the metal center and 3 shows a square-planar geometry. The FT-IR spectra, UV–vis spectra, and magnetic susceptibility measurements agree with the observed crystal structures. EPR spectra indicate a dx2–y2 ground state (g|| > g > 2.0023 and A|| > A) for 3 at RT and LNT. The results of simultaneous TG-DTA analyses of 1 and 3 showed the final degradation products are NiO for 1 and CuO for 3. The Schiff base (HL) behaves as monobasic bidentate ligand possessing N and O donor atoms. Electrochemical properties for the complexes are similar and involve two irreversible redox processes. Complex 3 exhibits the ability to inhibit jack bean urease, although its Schiff base has no ability to inhibit urease. Complex 1 exhibits more active scavenging effects against O2? than HL, 2 and 3 under the same conditions. Antibacterial screening activities of these complexes were also investigated.  相似文献

Isothiocyanate complexes of Zn(II) and Cd(II) with the condensation product of 2,6-diacetylpyridine and trimethylammoniumacetohydrazide (Girard’s T reagent) were synthesized, characterized, and their antimicrobial activities were evaluated. The structures of the complexes were determined by elemental analysis, IR, and NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structure of the Zn(II) complex was also determined. Quantum-chemical calculations of the geometry and total energy of isomers of 2,6-diacetylpyridine-bis(trimethylammoniumacetohydrazone) were performed in vacuum and methanol solution, with the aim to explain conformational behavior and E/Z isomerism of this compound. DFT calculations of the molecular structures and the relative stabilities of linkage isomers of the Cd(II) complex showed that the isomer with N–Cd–N coordination of SCN? is the most stable. Complexes of Zn(II) and Cd(II) exhibited low to moderate activity against the tested microbial strains.  相似文献

Six nickel(II) complexes of the N2O2 chelating thiosemicarbazones were synthesized using N1-4-benzyloxysalicylidene-S-methyl/propyl thiosemicarbazone and methoxy-substitute-salicylaldehydes in the presence of Ni(II) ion by template reaction. The structures of thiosemicarbazones and nickel(II) complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, UV-Vis, IR, and 1H-NMR spectroscopies. The structure of the N1-4-benzyloxysalicylidene-S-propyl thiosemicarbazone ( 2 ) was determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction method. The total antioxidant capacities of synthesized compounds were evaluated by using cupric reducing antioxidant capacity (CUPRAC) method. The thiosemicarbazones exhibited more potent antioxidant capacity than Ni(II) complexes. Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC) of 1c was found highest in tested nickel(II) complexes. In addition, antioxidant activities of tested compounds were evaluated by using the hydroxyl radical, DPPH radical, and ABTS radical scavenging abilities of these compounds.  相似文献

As part of our on-going effort to develop 64Cu-based radiopharmaceuticals for PET (positron emission tomography) imaging of multidrug resistance in cancer, we prepared a tetramethylfuranone-functionalized diiminedioxime ligand, TMFPreH (TMFPreH = 4-[3-(4-hydroxyimino-2,2,5,5-dimethyl-dihydro-furan-3-ylideneamino)-propylimino]-2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-dihydrofuran-3(2H)-one oxime) and its Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes. When the copper(II) complex was prepared from Cu(ClO4)2 in ethanol, it was isolated as a Cu(II)-bridged dimer, but when it was prepared from Cu(OAc)2 and heated in acetone, an unusual example of an acetone adduct of the ligand is formed by reduction of one of the imine double bonds by the solvent. The Ni(II) complex is square pyramidal with the perchlorate counterion at the apex.  相似文献

Three new mononuclear complexes [Co(2-Acpy)2(H2O)2](NO3)2 (1), [Ni(2-Acpy)2(H2O)2](NO3)2 (2) and [Cd(2-Acpy)2(NO3)2] (3) (2-Acpy = 2-acetylpyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and UV–Vis spectroscopy. The structures of 1 and 3 were accomplished by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystallographic investigation of 1 reveals monomeric, dicationic units in which the cobalt(II) ion is six-coordinate. The coordination sphere is formed by two N, O bidentate acetylpyridine ligands and two water molecules. The crystal structure of 3 consists of monomeric units in which the cadmium is eight-coordinate. Both the organic ligand and nitrate groups are bidentate chelators. The supramolecular solid-state architecture is sustained by π–π interactions.  相似文献

The reaction of copper(II) nitrate trihydrate and 2-(2-pyridyl)benzimidazole (pybzim) leads to [Cu(pybzim)2(NO3)](NO3). The compound has been studied by IR, UV–Vis spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. The electronic structure of the [Cu(pybzim)2(NO3)]+ cation has been calculated with the density functional theory (DFT) method. The spin-allowed doublet–doublet electronic transitions of [Cu(pybzim)2(NO3)]+ have been calculated with the time-dependent DFT method, and the UV–Vis spectrum of the title compound has been discussed on this basis.  相似文献

The Ni(II), Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes of 2,4-diamino-5-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)pyrimidine (trimethoprim) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, electronic and IR spectroscopy, and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The single-crystal X-ray structure of the Ni(II) complex is reported. Ni(II) is coordinated to the N(1) atoms of two trimethoprim molecules that act as monodentates. Octahedral coordination around the nickel atom is completed by coordination to two molecules of methanol and two acetate ions. Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes are square planar and the metal ions coordinate one molecule of trimethoprim, two chloride ions and a molecule of water.  相似文献

The compounds [CuCl(bpzm)2(H2O)]Cl·H2O (1) and [Cu(N3)2(bpzm)]n (2) have been studied by IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. Crystals of the title compound, [(C6H6N4S2)(C4H5NO4)(H2O)Ni]·H2O, consist of the Ni(II) complex and lattice water. The Ni(II) complex adopts a distorted octahedral coordination geometry formed by an iminodiacetate anion (IDA), a diaminobithiazole (DABT) and a coordinated water molecule. A twisted configuration of DABT is the distinguishing feature in the complex, the dihedral angle between thiazole rings of DABT being 20.04(8)°. An aromatic stacking interaction occurs between thiazole rings from neighboring complex molecules, and is considered as the reason for the twisted configuration. The tridentate IDA dianion chelates to a Ni(II) atom in afacialconfiguration. A hydrogen bond network holds the complex molecules together to form a supramolecular structure.  相似文献
