In this article we shall show that the Ginzburg-Landau equations admit at least three time-periodic solutions. One of the time-periodic solutions describes the non-superconductive (or normal) state and the other one describes the superconductivity state. We will also show that the time-periodic solutions are exponentially stable. Furthermore, the method we use in this article can be used to find numerical approximations to the time-periodic solutions.  相似文献

In this study, the numerical solutions of a system of two nonlinear integro-differential equations, which describes biological species living together, are derived employing the well-known Homotopy-perturbation method. The approximate solutions are in excellent agreement with those obtained by the Adomian decomposition method. Furthermore, we present an analytical approximate solution for a more general form of the system of nonlinear integro-differential equations. The numerical result indicates that the proposed method is straightforward to implement, efficient and accurate for solving nonlinear integro-differential equations.  相似文献

This paper describes the method of quasilinearization for first-order nonlinear impulsive functional differential equations with anti-periodic boundary conditions. A monotone iterative technique coupled with lower and upper solutions is employed to obtain sequences of approximate solutions converging monotonically and quadratically to the unique solution of the problem at hand.  相似文献

In this work, we study the two‐mode Korteweg–de Vries (TKdV) equation, which describes the propagation of two different waves modes simultaneously. We show that the TKdV equation gives multiple soliton solutions for specific values of the nonlinearity and dispersion parameters involved in the equation. We also derive other distinct exact solutions for general values of these parameters. We apply the simplified Hirota's method to study the specific of the parameters, which gives multiple soliton solutions. This paper is concerned with the asymptotic stability and instability of solutions to a variable coefficient logarithmic wave equation with nonlinear damping and memory term. Such model describes wave traveling through nonhomogeneous viscoelastic materials. By choosing appropriate multiplier and using weighted energy method, we prove the exponential decay of the energy. Moreover, we also obtain the instability of the solutions at the infinity in the presence of the nonlinear damping.  相似文献

We combine the F-expansion method with the homogeneous balance principle to build a strategy to find analytical solitonic and periodic wave solutions to a generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation with distributed coefficients, linear gain/loss, and nonlinear gain/absorption. In the case of a dimensionless effective Gross–Pitaevskii equation which describes the evolution of the wave function of a quasi-one-dimensional cigar-shaped Bose–Einstein condensate, the building strategy is applied to generate analytical solutions.  相似文献

In this paper we solve a system of second-order partial differential equations with non-standard boundary conditions. This system of equations is a mathematical model that describes distributions of the overpotential and reactant concentration in a working packed-bed electrode for an electrochemical reactor. To ensure the existence and uniqueness of the solutions for this model we choose standard instead of non-standard boundary conditions, and obtain approximate analytic solutions in the form of a series that rapidly converges using the Adomian decomposition method. The method is easily implemented using the symbol operations of scientific computational software such as MATLAB.  相似文献

This paper describes the synthesis of robust decentralized controllers for uncertain large-scale discrete-time systems with time delays in the subsystem interconnections. Based on the Lyapunov method, a sufficient condition for robust stability is derived in terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI). The solutions of the LMIs can be obtained easily using efficient convex optimization techniques. A numerical example is given to illustrate the proposed method.  相似文献

We establish a two‐wave mode equation for the integrable Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation, which describes the propagation of two different wave modes in the same direction simultaneously. We determine the necessary conditions that make multiple soliton solutions exist for this new equation. The simplified Hirota's method will be used to conduct this work. The phase field model is a nonlinear system of parabolic equationswhich describes the phase transitions between two differentphases, e.g. solid and liquid. An SEI epidemic model with constant recruitment and infectious force in the latent period is investigated. This model describes the transmission of diseases such as SARS. The behavior of positive solutions to a reaction–diffusion system with homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions are investigated. Sufficient conditions for the local and global asymptotical stability are given by linearization and by the method of upper and lower solutions and its associated monotone iterations. Our result shows that the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable if the contact rate is small.  相似文献
