Diagnostic Measures for Censored Linear Models based on Empirical Likelihood Method

In this paper, the diagnostic measures for censored linear models are studied based on the empirical likelihood method. First, the diagnostic measures for linear models are studied; Then, the censored linear models are converted to linear models, and the diagnostic measures for converted models are studied; Last, simulation studies and real data analysis are given to illustrate the validity of statistical diagnostic measures.

Parabolic flow over a flat plate with wave disturbance in the main stream

In this paper the effects of unsteady flow past a flat plate, which is at rest, are studied when the steady parabolic flow outside the boundary layer is in a wave disturbance. Solutions are developed for large and small times. The behaviour of the amplitudes and phase leads of skin friction components along chordwise and spanwise directions are studied in detail. Two cases, one when the main stream lines are straight and yawed, and the other when the main stream lines are parabolic and concave with respect to the points on the chordwise direction are studied separately and the results are interpreted graphically.     

Noncommutative,quasi-conformal integral transforms over quaternions and octonions

This paper is devoted to the study of holomorphic and meromorphic functions of quaternion and octonion variables. New classes of quasi-conformal and quasi-meromorphic mappings are defined and studied. Different properties of these functions such as residues and the argument principle are studied. We prove that the family of all quasi-conformal diffeomorphisms of a domain is a topological group relative to composition of mappings. In particular, cases where it is a finite-dimensional Lie group over R are studied. Relations between quasi-conformal functions and integral transformations of functions over quaternions and octonions are investigated. Noncommutative analogs of the Mellin transformations are studied and used. In addition, examples of such functions are given. Finally, applications to problems of complex analysis are discussed. Parallel Newton Two-Stage Multisplitting Iterative Methods for Nonlinear Systems

Parallel Newton two-stage iterative methods to solve nonlinear systems are studied. These algorithms are based on both the multisplitting technique and the two-stage iterative methods. Convergence properties of these methods are studied when the Jacobian matrix is either monotone or an H-matrix. Furthermore, in order to illustrate the performance of the algorithms studied, computational results about these methods on a distributed memory multiprocessor are discussed.This revised version was published online in October 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

三维数值流形方法的理论研究

在二维数值流形方法的基础上,对三维数值流形进行了理论研究．研究了三维覆盖位移函数,进行了三维数值流形的力学分析,给出了三维流形单元的刚度矩阵,详细推导了三维数值流形的Hammer积分及剖分规则,系统地研究三维数值流形的理论体系与数值实现方法．作为数值算例,给出了相应的悬臂梁的计算结果,计算结果表明算法的精度和计算效益较高．     

Banach limits: Invariance and functional characteristics

Banach limits invariant with respect to the Cesàro transform are studied. New functional characteristics of Banach limits are introduced and studied.     

Vector Groups with Isomorphic Holomorphs

In this paper, vector groups whose holomorphs are isomorphic are studied. In connection with the studied problem, the concepts of a semi-characteristic and Γ(G)-decomposition of a group are introduced. The properties of such decompositions are described. Isomorphism conditions of holomorphically isomorphic vector groups are found.     

A mathematical analysis of a fish school model

A model proposed in the literature for fish schools of relatively large size is studied for mathematical and qualitative properties. Existence, uniqueness and positivity of solutions are established and bifurcation properties relative to diffusion and alignment parameters are studied.     

EOL and ETOL array languages

In this paper we study the families of ETOL and EOL array languages. Standard forms for ETOL and EOL array systems are defined and closure properties of the families are studied. Relations of these families with other developmental array languages and other array languages are studied.     

Invariance properties of generalized monotonicity

Generalized monotone maps are studied under affine variable transformations. The results enable us to generate generalized monotone matrices of any size. Various necessary conditions and sufficient conditions for generalized monotone matrices are derived. Furthermore. admissible translations of generalized monotone linear maps are studied. Finally, the maximal domain of generalized monotonicity is characterized.

Representations of Hom-Lie Algebras

In this paper, we study representations of hom-Lie algebras. In particular, the adjoint representation and the trivial representation of hom-Lie algebras are studied in detail. Derivations, deformations, central extensions and derivation extensions of hom-Lie algebras are also studied as an application.     

贝叶斯网络仿真元模型及其在装备战场损伤仿真中的应用研究

结合装备战场损伤仿真系统,研究了贝叶斯网络仿真元模型的构建方法.从条件概率角度描述了仿真模型输入参数与输出参数之间的映射关系,研究了构建贝叶斯网络仿真元模型的可行性,分析了贝叶斯网络仿真元模型的优点;研究了贝叶斯网络仿真元模型构建过程中的关键问题,包括:元模型参数的确定、原始模型参数向贝叶斯网络节点的转化、联结强度的计算、衍生元模型的构建;针对不完全信息条件下装备战场损伤快速定位问题,研究了基于K2算法的贝叶斯网络仿真元模型构建方法;构建了某型高炮的战场损伤贝叶斯网络仿真元模型.     

Integrable peakon systems with weak kink and kink-peakon interactional solutions

We report two integrable peakon systems that have weak kink and kink-peakon interactional solutions. Both peakon systems are guaranteed integrable through providing their Lax pairs. The peakon and multi-peakon solutions of both equations are studied. In particular, the two-peakon dynamic systems are explicitly presented and their collisions are investigated. The weak kink solution is studied, and more interesting, the kink-peakon interactional solutions are proposed for the first time.     

Generalized Cochrane sums and Cochrane-Hardy sums

In this paper, the generalized Cochrane sums and Cochrane-Hardy sums are defined. The arithmetic properties of the generalized Cochrane sums are studied, and the Cochrane-Hardy sums are expressed in terms of the generalized Cochrane sums. Analogues of Subrahmanyam's identity and Knopp's theorem are given and proved. Finally, the hybrid mean value of generalized Cochrane sums, Cochrane-Hardy sums and Kloosterman sums is studied, and a few asymptotic formulae are obtained.     

Convergence and Mean-Square Stability of Exponential Euler Method for Semi-Linear Stochastic Delay Integro-Differential Equations

In this paper, the numerical methods for semi-linear stochastic delay integro-differential equations are studied. The uniqueness, existence and stability of analytic solutions of semi-linear stochastic delay integro-differential equations are studied and some suitable conditions for the mean-square stability of the analytic solutions are also obtained. Then the numerical approximation of exponential Euler method for semi-linear stochastic delay integro-differential equations is constructed and the convergence and the stability of the numerical method are studied. It is proved that the exponential Euler method is convergent with strong order $\frac{1}{2}$ and can keep the mean-square exponential stability of the analytical solutions under some restrictions on the step size. In addition, numerical experiments are presented to confirm the theoretical results.     

Strong solutions to stochastic Volterra equations

In this paper stochastic Volterra equations admitting exponentially bounded resolvents are studied. After obtaining convergence of resolvents, some properties for stochastic convolutions are studied. Our main results provide sufficient conditions for strong solutions to stochastic Volterra equations.

Spectral properties of the twisted bi-Laplacian

The eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the twisted bi-Laplacian are studied in the context of analytic number theory. The essential self-adjointness and the global hypoellipticity in terms of a new family of Sobolev spaces are also studied.
