In this work we report about a new rare-earth oxoborate β-Dy2B4O9 synthesized under high-pressure/high-temperature conditions from Dy2O3 and boron oxide B2O3 in a B2O3/Na2O2 flux with a walker-type multianvil apparatus at 8 GPa and 1000°C. Single crystal X-ray structure determination of β-Dy2B4O9 revealed: , a=616.2(1) pm, b=642.8(1) pm, c=748.5(1) pm, α=102.54(1)°, β=97.08(1)°, γ=102.45(1)°, Z=2, R1=0.0151, wR2=0.0475 (all data). The compound exhibits a new structure type which is built up from bands of linked BO3- (Δ) and tetrahedral BO4-groups (□). The Dy3+-cations are positioned in the voids between the bands. According to the conception of fundamental building blocks β-Dy2B4O9 can be classified with the notation 2Δ6□:Δ3□=4□=3□Δ. Furthermore we report about temperature-resolved in situ powder diffraction measurements and IR-spectroscopic investigations on β-Dy2B4O9.  相似文献

A new mixed Mo/Ni/Ti heteropoly compound [C5H5NH]5 [(NiOH)2Mo10O36(PO4)Ti2] has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Black prismatic crystals crystallize in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, a=11.2075(2), b=37.8328(5) c=13.0888(1) Å, β=101.4580(10)°, M=2276.13, V=5439.19(13) Å3, Z=4. Data were collected on a Siemens SMART CCD diffractometer at 293(2) K in the range of 1.68<θ<25.09° using the ω-scan technique (λ=0.71073 Å R(F)=0.0872 for 9621 reflections). The title compound contains a trimetal heteropolyanion polymer and “trans-titanium”-bridging pseudo-Keggin fragments linked to a chain.  相似文献

A new fluoride borate crystal, CdZn2KB2O6F, has been synthesized by flux-supported solid-state reaction. The crystal structure has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in the trigonal space group with a=5.0381(6) Å, b=5.0381(6) Å, c=15.1550(19) Å, α=90.00°, β=90.00°, γ=120.00°, Z=2. The crystal represents a new structure type in which ZnBO3 layers are connected through bridging fluorine and cadmium atoms alternately along the c-axis. K+ cations are filled in the intralayer open channels to balance charge. IR and Raman spectra further confirm the crystal structure. Photoluminescent measurement reveals that CdZn2KB2O6F exhibits blue fluorescence at room temperature in the solid-state.  相似文献

The phase relations in the Fe-rich part of the pseudo-binary system SrO–Fe2O3 (>33 mol% Fe2O3) were reinvestigated between 800 and 1500 °C in air. A combination of microscopy, electron probe micro-analysis, powder X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis was used to determine phase relations, crystal structure parameters and phase transition temperatures. M-type hexagonal ferrite SrFe12O19 (85.71 mol% Fe2O3) is stable up to 1410 °C. No indication of a significant phase width was found; Sr4Fe6O13±δ appears as a second phase in compositions with <85.71±0.2 mol% Fe2O3. Sr4Fe6O13±δ itself is stable between 800 and 1250 °C. Two other hexagonal ferrites were found to exist at high temperatures only: W-type SrFe2+2Fe3+16O27 is stable between 1350 and 1440 °C and X-type ferrite Sr2Fe2+2Fe3+28O46 between 1350 and 1420 °C, respectively, which is shown here for the first time. These findings in combination with previously published data were used to derive a corrected phase diagram of the Fe-rich part of the pseudo-binary system SrO–Fe2O3.  相似文献

The thermal evolution and structural properties of fluorite-related δ-Bi2O3-type Bi9ReO17 were studied with variable temperature neutron powder diffraction, synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction and electron diffraction. The thermodynamically stable room-temperature crystal structure is monoclinic P21/c, a=9.89917(5), b=19.70356(10), c=11.61597(6) Å, β=125.302(2)° (Rp=3.51%, wRp=3.60%) and features clusters of ReO4 tetrahedra embedded in a distorted Bi–O fluorite-like network. This phase is stable up to 725 °C whereupon it transforms to a disordered δ-Bi2O3-like phase, which was modeled with δ-Bi2O3 in cubic Fmm with a=5.7809(1) Å (Rp=2.49%, wRp=2.44%) at 750 °C. Quenching from above 725 °C leads to a different phase, the structure of which has not been solved but appears on the basis of spectroscopic evidence to contain both ReO4 tetrahedra and ReO6 octahedra.  相似文献

The β, β′, γ and α phases of LiFeO2, synthesized as powders, were annealed at different temperatures and characterized by X-ray measurements. The β′ and γ modifications were also studied by time-of-flight neutron diffraction (ISIS Facility, UK). The structure of the β′ phase was refined in the monoclinic C2/c space group (a=8.566(1), b=11.574(2), c=5.1970(5) Å, β=146.064(5)°) to wRp=0.071–0.080 (data from four counter banks). Fe and Li atoms are ordered over two of the four independent sites, and partially disordered over the other two. The ordered Li has a distorted tetrahedral coordination. The γ structure was refined at RT (a=4.047(1), c=8.746(2) Å) and at 570 °C (a=4.082(3), c=8.822(6) Å) in the I41/amd symmetry, showing full order with Li in octahedral coordination at RT, and in a split-atom configuration at high temperature. On annealing, the β′ polymorph was found to transform to γ at 550 °C, thus suggesting that it is a metastable phase. Electrostatics is discussed as the driving force for the αβ′→γ ordering process of LiFeO2.  相似文献

The heat capacity and the enthalpy increments of strontium niobate Sr2Nb2O7 and calcium niobate Ca2Nb2O7 were measured by the relaxation time method (2–300 K), DSC (260–360 K) and drop calorimetry (720–1370 K). Temperature dependencies of the molar heat capacity in the form Cpm = 248.0 + 0.04350T − 3.948 × 106/T2 J K−1 mol−1 for Sr2Nb2O7 and Cpm = 257.2 + 0.03621T − 4.434 × 106/T2 J K−1 mol−1 for Ca2Nb2O7 were derived by the least-square method from the experimental data. The molar entropies at 298.15 K, Sm°(298.15 K) = 238.5 ± 1.3 J K−1 mol−1 for Sr2Nb2O7 and Sm°(298.15 K) = 212.4 ± 1.2 J K−1 mol−1 for Ca2Nb2O7, were evaluated from the low-temperature heat capacity measurements.  相似文献

Fe2O3/SiO2 nanocomposites based on fumed silica A-300 (SBET = 337 m2/g) with iron oxide deposits at different content were synthesized using Fe(III) acetylacetonate (Fe(acac)3) dissolved in isopropyl alcohol or carbon tetrachloride for impregnation of the nanosilica powder at different amounts of Fe(acac)3 then oxidized in air at 400–900 °C. Samples with Fe(acac)3 adsorbed onto nanosilica and samples with Fe2O3/SiO2 including 6–17 wt% of Fe2O3 were investigated using XRD, XPS, TG/DTA, TPD MS, FTIR, AFM, nitrogen adsorption, Mössbauer spectroscopy, and quantum chemistry methods. The structural characteristics and phase composition of Fe2O3 deposits depend on reaction conditions, solvent type, content of grafted iron oxide, and post-reaction treatments. The iron oxide deposits on A-300 (impregnated by the Fe(acac)3 solution in isopropanol) treated at 500–600 °C include several phases characterized by different nanoparticle size distributions; however, in the case of impregnation of A-300 by the Fe(acac)3 solution in carbon tetrachloride only α-Fe2O3 phase is formed in addition to amorphous Fe2O3. The Fe2O3/SiO2 materials remain loose (similar to the A-300 matrix) at the bulk density of 0.12–0.15 g/cm3 and SBET = 265–310 m2/g.  相似文献

The distribution of d electrons over the cations in MoFe2O4, which is represented by the formal valence assignment, is shown to be complicated by the equilibrium reactionsFe2+B+Fe3+A+Mo3+Fe3+B+Fe2+A+Mo4+We have used thermal treatment to confirm that the Mo are primarily on octahedral sites; FeA[MoBFeB]O4. K-shell absorption and Mössbauer data at T = 423 K > Tc demonstrate that the iron has an average valence near 2.5+ with fast electron transfer (τh < 10−8 sec) on both octahedral and tetrahedral sites. Paramagnetic susceptibility data give a Curie constant CM = 7.95 ± 0.2 emu/mole and a Weiss constant θp = −445 K; magnetometer measurements confirm a compensation point near 160 K. Transport data give a surprisingly high electronic conductivity, but also give an activated mobility similar to that found in AlFe2O4 and CrFe2O4 where mixed Fe3+/2+ valences on both A and B sites have been demonstrated. However, a positive Seebeck coefficient and a preexponential factor one order of magnitude higher in MoFe2O4 point to involvement of a fraction of the Mo atoms in electronic transport, which would be consistent with the observation of a τh < 10−8 sec on the A sites of a spinel. An energy diagram consistent with these data and other information about the relative redox potentials of these ions in oxides are proposed for this system.  相似文献

The La–Si binary phase diagram under a high pressure of 13.5 GPa was experimentally constructed. New superconducting silicides LaSi5 and LaSi10 were found, which have peritectic decomposition temperatures at 1000 and 750 °C, respectively. The single crystal X-ray structural analysis revealed that there are two polymorphs in LaSi5. The α-form obtained by heating a molar mixture of LaSi2 and 3 Si at about 700 °C or by a rapid cooling from 1000 °C under pressure crystallizes with the space group C2/m and the lattice parameters a=15.11(3), b=4.032(6), c=8.26(1) Å, and β=109.11(1)°. The β-form obtained by a slow cooling from 800–950 °C to 600 °C under pressure has the same space group but with slightly different lattice parameters, a=14.922(7), b=3.906(2), c=8.807(4) Å, and β=107.19(1)°. The β-form is formed during the incomplete transformation of the α-form on cooling, and has always been obtained as a mixture with the α-form. The compound can be characterized as a Zintl phase with a polyanionic framework with large tunnels running along the b axis hosting lanthanum ions. In the β-form, three of the five Si sites are disordered. The two polymorphs contain one dimensional sila-polyacene ribbons, Si ladder polymer, running along the b axis. The α-form showed superconductivity with the transition temperature Tc of 11.5 K. LaSi10 crystallizes with the space group 63/mmc and the lattice parameters a=9.623(4), c=4.723(3) Å. It is composed of La containing Si18 polyhedra (La@Si18) of hexagonal beer-barrel shape, which form straight columns by stacking along the c-axis via face sharing. One-dimensional columns of La@Si18 barrels are edge-shared, and bundled with infinite Si trigonal bipyramid chains via corner sharing. The Si atoms in the straight chains have a five-fold coordination. LaSi10 became a superconductor with Tc=6.7 K. The ab initio calculation of the electric band structures showed that α-LaSi5 and LaSi10 are metallic, and the conduction electrons mainly come from Si-3p orbitals.  相似文献

The B–O–B bond angle distributions for both ring and non-ring boron sites in vitreous B2O3 have been determined by 11B double rotation (DOR) NMR and multiple-quantum (MQ) DOR NMR. The [B3O6] boroxol rings are observed to have a mean internal B–O–B angle of 120.0±0.7° with a small standard deviation, σR=3.2±0.4°, indicating that the rings are near-perfect planar, hexagonal structures. The rings are linked predominantly by non-ring [BO3] units, which share oxygens with the boroxol ring, with a mean Bring–O–Bnon-ring angle of 135.1±0.6° and σNR=6.7±0.4°. In addition, the fraction of boron atoms, f, which reside in the boroxol rings has been measured for this sample as f=0.73±0.01.  相似文献

The crystal structure of Sr2ErRuO6 has been refined from neutron powder diffraction data collected at room temperature; space group P21/n, A = 5.7626(2), B = 5.7681(2), C = 8.1489(2) Å, β = 90.19(1)°. The structure is that of a distorted perovskite with a 1:1 ordered arrangement of Ru5+ and Er3+ over the 6-coordinate sites. Data collected at 4.2 K show the presence of long range antiferromagnetic order involving both Ru5+ and Er3+. The temperature dependence of the sublattice magnetizations is described. The crystal structure of Ca2NdRuO6 is also that of a distored perovskite (P21/n, A = 5.5564(1), B = 5.8296(1), C = 8.0085(1) β = 90.19(1)°. The β = 90.07(1)°) with a random distribution of Ca2+ and Nd3+ on the A site and a 1:1 ordered arrangement of Ca2+ and Ru5+ on the 6-coordinate B sites. The Ru5+ sublattice is antiferromagnetic at 4.2 K but there is no evidence for magnetic ordering of the Nd3+ ions. Ca2HoRuO6 is also a distorted perovskite (P21/n, A = 5.4991(1), B = 5.7725(1), C = 7.9381(2), β = 90.18(1)° at 4.2 K) with a cation distribution best represented as Ca1.46Ho0.54[Ca0.54Ho0.46Ru]O6. There is no ordering among the Ca3+ or Ho3+ ions on either the A or the B sites, but the Ca/Ho ions form a 1:1 ordered arrangement with Ru5+ on the B sites. At 4.2 K the Ru5+ ions adopt a Type I antiferromagnetic arrangement but there is no evidence of long range magnetic ordering among the Ho3+ ions.  相似文献

The crystal structures of Sr10Ga6O19 and Sr3Ga2O6 have been characterized using X-ray diffraction techniques. In the case of Sr10Ga6O19, the structure was determined from a single crystal diffraction data set collected at room conditions and refined to a final R index of 0.061 for 3471 observed reflections (I>2 σ(I)). The compound is monoclinic with space group C12/c1 (a=34.973(4) Å, b=7.934(1) Å, c=15.943(2) Å, β=103.55(1)°, V=4300.7(6) Å3, Z=8, Dcalc=4.94 g/cm3, μ(Mo)=32.04 mm−1) and can be classified as an oligogallate. It is the first example of an inorganic compound where six [TO4]-tetrahedra of only one chemical species occupying the tetrahedral centres are linked via bridging oxygen atoms to form [T6O19] groups. The hexamers are not linear, but highly puckered. Eleven symmetrically different Sr cations located in planes parallel (100) crosslink between the oligo-groups. They are coordinated by six to eight oxygen ligands. The structure of Sr3Ga2O6 has been refined from powder diffraction data using the Rietveld method (space group Pa , a=16.1049(1), V=4177.1(1) Å3, Z=24, Dcalc=4.75 g/cm3). The compound is isostructural with tricalcium aluminate and contains highly puckered, six-membered [Ga6O18]18− rings. The rings are linked by strontium cations having six to nine nearest oxygen neighbors.  相似文献

Studies on the magnetic properties of the molecular antiferromagnetic material {N(n-C5H11)4[MnIIFeIII(ox)3]}, carried out by various physical techniques (AC/DC magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, heat capacity measurements and Mössbauer spectroscopy) at low temperatures, have been presented. Different experimental observations complement each other and provide a clue for the observation of an uncompensated magnetization below the Néel temperature and short-range correlations persisting high above TN. It is understood that the honeycomb layered structure of the compound contains non-equivalent magnetic sub-lattices, (MnII–ox–FeIIIA–...) and (MnII–ox–FeIIIB–...), where different responses of the FeIIIA and FeIIIB spin sites towards an external magnetic field might be responsible for the observation of the uncompensated magnetization in this compound at T < TN. The present magnetic system is an S = 5/2 2-D Heisenberg antiferromagnet system with the intralayer exchange parameter J/kB = −3.29 K. A very weak interlayer exchange interaction was anticipated from the spin wave modeling of the magnetic heat capacity for T < 0.5TN. The positive sign of the coupling between the layers has been concluded from the Mössbauer spectrum in the applied magnetic field. Frustration in the magnetic interactions gives rise to the uncompensated magnetic moment in this compound at low temperatures.  相似文献

The double sodium and iron phosphate Na3Fe(PO4)2 was synthesized and studied by the XRD method, the second harmonic generation technique, and Mössbauer and IR spectroscopy. The compound crystallizes into a monoclinic system (space group C2/c) with unit cell parameters a=9.0736(2) Å, b=5.0344(1) Å, c=13.8732(3) Å, β=91.435(2)° and is found to be related to the K3Na(SO4)2 structure type. The crystal structure was determined by Rietveld analysis (Rwp=5.86, RI=2.03). Iron cations occupy the M (Na) position while sodium cations occupy the X (K) and Y (K) positions of the glaserite-like structure. Mössbauer spectroscopy shows the presence of high-spin Fe3+ in octahedral coordination.  相似文献

The crystal structures of 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (dabco)-templated iron sulfate, (C6H14N2)[Fe(H2O)6](SO4)2, were determined at room temperature and at −173 °C from single-crystal X-ray diffraction. At 20 °C, it crystallises in the monoclinic symmetry, centrosymmetric space group P21/n, Z=2, a=7.964(5), b=9.100(5), c=12.065(5) Å, β=95.426(5)° and V=870.5(8) Å3. The structure consists of [Fe(H2O)6]2+ and disordered (C6H14N2)2+ cations and (SO4)2− anions connected together by an extensive three-dimensional H-bond network. The title compound undergoes a reversible phase transition of the first-order at −2.3 °C, characterized by DSC, dielectric measurement and optical observations, that suggests a relaxor–ferroelectric behavior. Below the transition temperature, the compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, non-centrosymmetric space group Cc, with eight times the volume of the ambient phase: a=15.883(3), b=36.409(7), c=13.747(3) Å, β=120.2304(8)°, Z=16 and V=6868.7(2) Å3. The organic moiety is then fully ordered within a supramolecular structure. Thermodiffractometry and thermogravimetric analyses indicate that its decomposition proceeds through three stages giving rise to the iron oxide.  相似文献

The phase relations in the system In2O3–TiO2–MgO at 1100 and 1350°C are determined by a classical quenching method. In this system, there are four pseudobinary compounds, In2TiO5, MgTi2O5 (pseudobrookite type), MgTiO3 (ilmenite type), and Mg2TiO4 (spinel type) at 1100°C. At 1350°C, in addition to these compounds there exist a spinel-type solid solution Mg2−xIn2xTi1−xO4 (0≤x≤1) and a compound In6Ti6MgO22 with lattice constants a=5.9236(7) Å, b=3.3862(4) Å, c=6.3609(7) Å, β=108.15(1)°, and q=0.369, which is isostructural with the monoclinic In3Ti2FeO10 in the system In2O3–TiO2–MgO. The relation between the lattice constants of the spinel phase and the composition nearly satisfies Vegard's law. In6Ti6MgO22 extends a solid solution range to In20Ti17Mg3O67 with lattice constants of a=5.9230(5) Å, b=3.3823(3) Å, c=6.3698(6) Å, β=108.10(5)°, and q=0.360. The distributions of constituent cations in the solid solutions are discussed in terms of their ionic radius and site preference effect.  相似文献

The hydrothermal synthesis, crystal structure and some properties of a zinc phosphite with a neutral cluster, [Zn(2,2′-bipy)]2(H2PO3)4, are reported. This compound crystallizes in the triclinic system of space group P-1 (No. 2), a=8.3067(5) Å, b=8.9545(4) Å, c=10.0893(6) Å, α=95.448(2)°, β=99.7530(10)°, γ=103.461(2)°, V=712.23(7) Å3, Z=1. The cluster consists of 4-membered rings formed by alternating ZnO3N2 square pyramids and H2PO3 pseudo pyramids, with two “hanging” H2PO3 groups attached to each of the Zn centers. The clusters are linked together by extensive multipoint hydrogen bonding involving the phosphite units to form a sheet-like structure. This compound represents the first example of zinc phosphite with P---OH bonds. An intense photoluminescence was observed from this compound upon photoexcitation at 388 nm.  相似文献

The crystal structure of K2Cu3(As2O6)2 was determined from single-crystal X-ray data by a direct method strategy and Fourier summations [a = 10.359(4) Å, B = 5.388(2)Å, C = 11.234(4) Å, β = 110.48(2)°; space group C2/m; Z = 2; Rw = 0.025 for 1199 reflections up to sin /λ = 0.81 Å−1]. In detail, the structure consists of As(V)O4 tetrahedra and As(III)O3 pyramids linked by a common O corner atom to [As(V)As(III)O6]4− groups with symmetry m. The bridging bonds As(V)---O [1.749(3) Å] and As(III)---O [1.838(2) Å] are definitely longer than the other As(V)---O bonds [mean 1.669 Å] and As(III)---O bonds [1.764(2) Å, 2×]. The angle As(V)---O---As(III) is 123.0(1)°. The Cu atoms are [4 + 2]- and [4 + 1]-, and the K atom is [9]-coordinated to oxygen atoms. The As2O6 groups and the Cu coordination polyhedra are linked to sheets parallel to (001). These sheets are connected by the K atoms. Single crystals of K2Cu3(As2O6)2 suitable for X-ray work were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions.  相似文献

A new indium terbium germanate InTbGe2O7, which is a member of the thortveitite family, was prepared as a polycrystalline powder material by high-temperature solid-state reaction. This new compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c (No. 15), with unit cell parameters a=6.8818(2) Å, b=8.8774(3) Å, c=9.7892(4) Å, β=101.401(1)°, V=586.25(4) Å3 and Z=4. Its structure was characterized by Rietveld refinement of powder laboratory X-ray diffraction data. It consists of octahedral sheets that are held together by sheets of isolated Ge2O7 diorthogroups composed of two tetrahedra sharing a common vertex. It contains only one octahedral site occupied by In3+ and Tb+3 cations. The characteristic mirror plane in the thortveitite (Sc2Si2O7) space group (C2/m, No. 12) is not present in this new compound. Besides, in InTbGe2O7, the Ge–O–Ge angle bridging two diorthogroups is 156.8(2)° as compared to the one in thortveitite, which is 180°. On the other hand, luminescent properties were observed when it is excited with 376.5 nm wavelength. The luminescence spectrum shows typical transitions from the 5D4 multiplet belonging to the trivalent terbium ion.  相似文献
