研制了一种新中子探测器,它以235UO2裂变靶作为转换靶,4He气体作为闪烁体.该探测器充分结合了235U和4He两种核素的特点,从而具有中子能量响应平坦、中子灵敏度较高、n/γ分辨本领高等优点,能很好地在混合脉冲裂变辐射场中测量中子.本文对探测器的原理和结构设计进行了介绍,计算了不同能量中子、γ射线在探测器中的能量沉积,并从理论和实验上对探测器的中子灵敏度、γ射线灵敏度、n/γ分辨本领和时间响应进行了研究.结果表明探测器的中子灵敏度约10-15C·cm2,γ灵敏度约10-17C·cm2,时间响应约33.1 ns.  相似文献

飞行时间法是精确测量快中子能谱的有效方法。但是在实际应用中,各种中子灵敏探测器同时也对r射线灵敏,中子源的伴随r射线会直接影响中子能谱的求解精度。液体闪烁体BC501具有良好的时间响应特性和n-r分辨本领,广泛适用于r射线场中的快中子参数测量。文中选用液体闪烁体BC501作为快中子探测器,根据中子和丫射线在液体闪烁体中产生的闪烁光退光时间长短的明显差异,应用脉冲上升时间法进行n-r分辨,通过对符合甄别^252Cf自发裂变中子飞行时间谱中的丫射线的效果进行研究,从应用的角度描述了脉冲上升时间法的n-r分辨效果。  相似文献

新型脉冲中子探测器采用特殊工艺将两个PIN半导体组合而成.利用脉冲γ辐射研究了探测器对γ的响应;利用脉冲中子源研究了探测器对DT中了的响应,并与闪烁探测器进行了比较 .结果表明:脉冲中子探测器对脉冲γ辐射基本不灵敏,对脉冲中子辐射的灵敏程度依赖于中子辐射体,是一种用于n,γ混合脉冲辐射场中子测量的新型探测器. 关键词: 硅半导体 差分补偿 脉冲中子探测器 n γ混合场  相似文献

首次报道一种基于反冲质子法和高速带电粒子在物质表面引起二次电子发射的高能中子探测方法,研制成功的新一代强流脉冲高能中子探测器,即介质型脉冲高能中子探测器.与传统的强流脉冲中子探测器相比,该探测器对中子的探测及信号的传输过程是在介质中完成的,因而不需要真空和高压也可以正常工作,并具有多项优异的物理性能.该探测器的输出信号来自于高能中子在聚乙烯转换靶产生的高能反冲质子和这些质子穿越电荷收集极表面时产生的部分二次电子.选择适当的卡阈吸收片和电荷收集极材料,二次电子在探测灵敏度中的份额及其随能量的变化可由实验测定.  相似文献

在瞬态的n、γ混合辐射场中,常采用飞行时间法原理,将n、γ射脉冲分开,实现对脉冲中子的探测。但在某些实验装置条件下,由于测量环境或者中子源强度等受到限制,不能采用成熟的n、γ飞行时间差甄别混合辐射场中的γ,尤其是在近距离测量中,n、γ分辨成为难题,因此,必须研究一种适合于n、γ混合辐射场的新型脉冲中子探测器。  相似文献

研制成功一种基于康普顿效应, 用于脉冲裂变n/γ混合场γ强度绝对测量的新型辐射探测器—ICI(绝缘体-导体-绝缘体)探测器. 除具有现有真空康普顿和介质康普顿探测器时间响应快、线性电流大、抗辐射干扰能力强等优点外,该探测器从结构上抑制了真空康普顿在快脉冲γ测量中的前后负冲信号, 并且工作时不需要高真空, 而γ灵敏度却与同尺寸介质康普顿探测器相当. 由于其探测灵敏介质厚度小于2mm, 因而在群脉冲辐射探测中, 不会显著影响后续和周围探测器的 测量环境, 是一种探测脉冲γ射线较理想的探测器.  相似文献

利用BaF2晶体对γ射线探测效率高、时间分辨率好的特点,研制了国内首套由40个BaF2探测器单元组成的γ全吸收型探测装置,用于在线测量中子俘获反应截面。在HI-13串列加速器上建立250~850 keV的中子源,其0°角的源强约为5.09×106 n/(Sr·s),使用γ全吸收型探测装置,通过瞬发γ射线法测量了93Nb、197Au、natC和空样品的实验数据。根据BaF2探测器信号的特征,采用了基线补偿、软件阈值设置、时间窗限定、脉冲幅度积分增长率设置和快慢成分比设置等多种数字化波形分析方法,剔除噪声信号以提高效应本底比。以197Au样品数据为标准,natC样品数据为样品相关性本底,空样品数据为样品无关性本底,采用相对测量法得到了93Nb的中子俘获反应截面实验数据。通过与ENDF评价库数据的比较,验证了测量装置和技术方法的可行性。  相似文献

研制了狭缝-外延式高灵敏大面积PIN裂变中子探测系统. 其对14MeV,2.5MeV中子灵敏度可达10-16C·cm2,比原有典型的脉冲裂变中子探测系统高4个量级. 采用外延式铅狭缝准直结构,研制灵敏区尺寸为60mm,厚度为200μm—300μm的大面积PIN半导体探测器、以Be膜为衬底,有效直径为60的235U裂变靶,解决了该探测器研制中的高灵敏度和n/γ分辨难题. 该系统已在实践中获得成功应用. 关键词: 裂变中子探测系统 大面积PIN探测器 大面积裂变靶 高灵敏探测系统  相似文献

将PIN半导体制作成特殊组合结构的PIN脉冲中子探测器,利用三通道装置产生的γ脉冲和中子发生器DT反应产生的14MeV中子脉冲对探测器进行了研究.结果表明:PIN脉冲中子探测器对脉冲γ辐射不灵敏,对脉冲中子辐射的灵敏程度依赖于中子辐射转换靶,探测器的信噪比达到30∶1,是一种在中子、γ混合脉冲辐射场中测量脉冲中子的新型探测器  相似文献

The prompt fission neutron spectra for the neutron-induced fission of 233U for low energy neutrons (below 6 MeV) are calculated using nuclear evaporation theory with a semi-empirical method, in which the partition of the total excitation energy between the fission fragments for the nth+233U fission reactions is determined by the available experimental and evaluation data. The calculated prompt fission neutron spectra agree well with the experimental data. The proportions of high-energy neutrons of prompt fission neutron spectrum versus incident neutron energies are investigated with the theoretical spectra, and the results are consistent with the systematics. The semi-empirical method could be a useful tool for the prompt evaluation of fission neutron spectra.  相似文献

The statistical model for fission is used to calculate the isotopic distribution of Rb and Cs in the fission of 238U induced by high-energy protons and reactor neutrons. The double-humped behaviour of the isotope yield curve as observed in high-energy proton-induced fission and the experimentally observed hump on the neutron-rich side in neutron-induced fission are semi-quantitatively reproduced.  相似文献

The behavior of Hafnium di-boride (HfB2) under neutron irradiation has been simulated in a wide range of energy from 0.025?eV up to 14?MeV. The simulation and the analysis have been carried out using Geant4 and its related database. From the radiation shielding perspective, it was observed that, under thermal neutron irradiation, HfB2 scatters neutrons with a marginally higher energy than the incident neutrons and also produces prompt gamma rays up to 11?MeV. These results would indicate that, for high-energy neutron 14?MeV, not only is HfB2 unacceptable as a reasonable neutron absorber but also produces 20?MeV prompt gamma rays.  相似文献

铅铋合金(LBE)作为中国加速器驱动系统(CiADS)散裂靶的候选材料,长期辐照使其具有很强的放射性。散裂靶放射性核素的研究仅考虑了质子束的散裂反应,而忽略了反应堆裂变中子的活化作用。本文采用FLUKA和MCNP耦合计算LBE和及其结构件的放射性产物。比较了裂变中子和高能质子在放射性产物的活度、主要放射性核素、毒性和衰变光子等方面的贡献。裂变中子的活化作用对主壳、导管和射束管有显著影响。当反应堆趋于临界状态时,裂变中子对LBE的活化作用是高于质子束流的。在LBE中,96.66%的 210Po是由裂变中子诱导的。这些结果表明,裂变中子在LBE及其结构部件的活化计算中是必不可少的。此外,本研究为CiADS的辐射防护提供了参考数据,也为ADS系统中散裂靶的放射性核素研究提供了更准确的方法。  相似文献

The emission of energetic neutrons and protons in coincidence with fission fragments was measured for the reactions 238U(16O, nf) and 238U(16O, pf). Larger cross sections were observed for the emission of high-energy protons than for the emission of high-energy neutrons. The improved version of Los Alamos model with the multi-modal fission approach is used to analyse the prompt fission neutron spectrum and multiplicity for the neutron-induced fission of 237Np. The spectra of neutrons emitted from fragments for the three most dominant fission modes (standard Ⅰ, standard Ⅱ and superlong) are calculated separately and the total spectrum is synthesized. The multi-modal parameters contained in the spectrum model are determined on the basis of experimental data of fission fragment mass distributions. The calculated total prompt fission neutron spectrum and multiplicity are better agreement with the experimental data than those obtained from the conventional treatment of the Los Alamos model.  相似文献

Fission fragments and other charged particles leave tracks of permanent damage in most of the insulating solids. Damage track detectors are useful for personal dosimeters and for flux/dose determination of high-energy particles from accelerators or cosmic rays. A detector that has its principal response at nucleon energy above 50 MeV is provided by the fission of Bi-209. Neutrons produce the largest percentage of hadron dose in most high-energy radiation fields. In these fields, the neutron spectrum is typically formed by low-energy neutrons (evaporation spectrum) and high-energy neutrons (knock-on spectrum). We used Bi-fission detectors to measure neutron peak fluence and compared the result with the calculated value of neutron peak fluence. For the exposure to 100 MeV we have used the iThemba Facility in South Africa.  相似文献

T-odd asymmetries in the angular distributions of evaporation neutrons emitted by thermalized fission fragments in the fission of axially symmetric deformed nuclei by cold polarized neutrons are investigated within the quantum theory of fission. The asymmetries in question are due to the anisotropy of angular distributions of evaporation neutrons in the center-of-mass systems of the fission fragments, and this anisotropy arises from the orientation of large-value fission fragment spins in the direction perpendicular to the direction K 0 of the symmetry axis of the fissioning nucleus at the time of its scission, caused by zero wriggling vibrations of the fissioning nucleus. The angle of rotation of the vector k 0 with respect to the asymptotic direction k 0 of the fissioning nucleus symmetry axis is calculated with allowance for the interference of fission amplitudes of neutron resonances excited in a fissioning nucleus as it captures an incident neutron. It is shown that the T-odd asymmetry coefficient for evaporation neutrons is close in structure and value to the analogous coefficient for evaporation γ-rays.  相似文献
