A novel electrochemical method is described for the determination of the growth regulator, daminozide. Daminozide is hydrolyzed in alkaline aqueous media to form 1,1-dimethylhydrazine (UDMH). The UDMH is oxidized at ?0.38 V vs. Ag/AgCl at the hanging mercury drop electrode and detected by square-wave voltammetry. The sensitivity is about 2.3 nA 1 mg?1 and the standard deviation (n = 8) for different standard solutions is 2.9 nA. Results obtained with apples after steam distillation agreed well with results obtained with a previously published method.  相似文献

The square-wave voltammetric technique was used to explore the adsorption properties of the astemizole drug. The analytical methodology used was based on the adsorptive preconcentration of the drug on a hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE), followed by the electrochemical reduction process which yielded a well-defined cathodic peak at −1.184 V (vs. the Ag/AgCl electrode). To achieve high sensitivity, various experimental and instrumental variables were investigated such as the supporting electrolyte, pH, accumulation time and potential, drug concentration, scan rate, SW frequency, pulse amplitude, convection rate, and the working electrode area. Under the optimized conditions, the AdSV peak current was proportional over the analyte concentration range of 5 × 10−7 to 2.5 × 10−6 mol L−1 (r = 0.998) with the detection limit of 1.4 × 10−8 mol L−1 (6.4 ng mL−1). The precision of the proposed method in terms of RSD was 2.4 %, whereas the method accuracy was indicated by the mean recovery of 100.1 %. Possible interferences of several substances usually present in the pharmaceutical tablets and formulations were also evaluated. The applicability of this electroanalytic approach was illustrated by the determination of astemizole in tablets and biological fluids.  相似文献

A simple, fast and sensitive square-wave voltammetric (SWV) method for the determination of trace amounts of Captopril in pharmaceutical formulation and reconstituted serum is reported. A three-electrode system containing the static mercury drop electrode (SMDE) working electrode, Pt auxiliary electrode and Ag/AgCl reference electrode was used throughout. Sodium sulfite was used as both supporting electrolyte and oxygen removing agent. No nitrogen purging is needed for oxygen removal from sample solution. Calibration graph showed good linearity in the concentration range of 0.5-50.0 μg mL−1 of Captopril and regression coefficient of 0.9957 is obtained. R.S.D. for eight replicate measurements and LOD of the proposed method are 1.2% and 6.28 × 10−3 μg mL−1, respectively. The effect of various parameters (equilibration time, scan increment, pulse height, drop size, frequency and sodium sulfite concentration) on the determination were investigated. The procedure was successfully applied to the determination of Captopril in pharmaceutical formulation and reconstituted serum.  相似文献

Trace analysis of thallium at surface modified thick-film graphite electrode with Bi nanopowder has been carried out using square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV) technique. The Bi nanopowder electrode exhibited a well-defined response relating to the oxidation of Tl. From the linear relationship between Tl concentration and peak current, the sensitivity of the Bi nanopowder electrode was quantitatively estimated. The detection limit of Tl was determined to be 0.03 μg/L for 1.0 μg/L Tl solution under 10 min accumulation, which is lower than the reported values for a Bi film electrode. Furthermore, it is confirmed that EDTA addition effectively eliminates the Pb and Cd interferences in the course of Tl determination by forming complexes with Pb2+ and Cd2+.  相似文献

A sensitive, simple and reproducible square-wave cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetric method is developed for the determination of 2-mercaptobenzimidazole (MBIM) in different water samples using a static mercury drop electrode (SMDE) as a working electrode. The solution conditions and instrumental parameters were optimized for the determination of MBIM by square-wave cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry. This method is based on a sensitive adsorptive reduction peak of the MBIM at ?0.532 V vs. Ag/AgCl reference electrode in a Britton-Robinson buffer at pH 10.0. The linear concentration range was 20–600 ng ml?1 when using 0.0 V as the accumulation potential. The detection limit of the method was calculated to be 8.41 ng ml?1. The precision was excellent with relative standard deviations (n = 20) of 2.30%, 1.71%, 2.25% and 1.33% at MBIM concentrations of 40, 90, 200 and 500 ng ml?1, respectively. The proposed voltammetric method is used for the determination of MBIM in different spiked water samples.  相似文献

Use of square-wave voltammetry (SWV) for determination of cefoperazone (CFPZ) in some buffers, bacterial culture, urine, and milk is described. CFPZ provides a specific voltammetric signal which is affected by pH and solution components. Determination of CFPZ in Britton–Robinson buffer, pH 4.4, is sensitive with a low detection limit (about 0.5 nmol L–1). In a more complex medium (bacterial 2YT medium, pH 7.2) the detection limit was approximately 1.5 mol L–1. We provide evidence that SWV is a suitable and quick method for CFPZ determination in a culture of living bacteria without separation of biomass. We have found big differences between methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) in cultivation in the presence of CFPZ, depending on time. When CFPZ is cleaved by penicillinase, a new SWV peak b appears at more positive potentials. This peak rises both with increasing concentration of enzyme and with cleavage time while the original CFPZ peak is simultaneously decreasing. We determined the concentration of CFPZ in the drug Pathozone by the standard addition method and achieved good agreement with the declared value of CFPZ in the drug. With a simple pretreatment procedure it is possible to determine CFPZ in milk; for urine no pretreatment was required. Using SWV we could detect CFPZ concentrations as low as 500 nmol L–1 in bovine milk and human urine.  相似文献

The adsorptive stripping voltammetry of telmisartan was investigated with a hanging mercury drop electrode. This compound produced a catalytic hydrogen wave at ?1.5 V in Britton Robinson buffer of pH 10.38, and the peak current increased with adsorptive accumulation at the electrode. Adsorptive stripping voltammetry with the catalytic hydrogen wave could provide a sensitive novel method for the determination of telmisartan. Various chemical and instrumental parameters affecting the monitored electroanalytical response were investigated and optimized for telmisartan determination. Under these optimized conditions the square-wave adsorptive stripping voltammetric (SW-AdSV) peak current showed a linear dependence on drug concentration over the range 0.05–3.00 μg/mL (1 × 10?7?6 × 10?6 M) (r = 0.999) with accumulation for 120 s at ?1.0 V vs. Ag/AgCl. The proposed electrochemical procedure was successfully applied for the determination of telmisartan in pharmaceutical tablets and human plasma. The results of the developed SW-AdSV method were comparable with those obtained by reported analytical procedures.  相似文献

Uranium (VI) can be determined by adsorptive voltammetric techniques, as its chloranilic acid complex, over a wide concentration range. Differential pulse polarography is useful for quantification of uranium between 0.1 and 1.5 mg/l; for the range from 10 to 500 g/l differential pulse voltammetry and for ultra-trace analysis between 0.024 and 40 g/l adsorptive stripping voltammetry are preferred. The standard deviation for the 3-detection limit of 24 ng/l uranium was found to be 8%. In the trace analysis of metals in aquatic environmental systems by adsorptive stripping voltammetry it is normally necessary to decompose polluted water samples by UV irradiation or microwave digestion. The advantage of the developed method is the fact that no sample pretreatment is necessary.Dedicated to Professor R. Geyer on the occasion of his 80th birthday  相似文献

A simple computer system for conducting voltammetric experiments is described. An Atari 800 XL microcomputer is connected to a laboratory-made analog/digital voltammetric analyzer by means of a two-directional serial transmission interface. The serial transmission makes it possible to decrease the number of connectors, which allows optical coupling between the microcomputer and other parts of the system. The system provides the user with computer-aided execution of experiments, including synthesis of potential waveforms and collection and development of responses. The performance of the hardware system is demostrated by its application in determining cadmium at the ng 1-1 level in a solution of Suprapur sulphuric acid by background-corrected anodic stripping voltammetry with a deposition time of 180 s and a scan rate of 9 V s-1.  相似文献

A Nafion/mercury film electrode (NMFE) was used for the determination of trace thallium(I) in aqueous solutions. Thallium(I) was preconcentrated onto the NMFE from the sample solution containing 0.01 M ethylenediaminetetraacetate (EDTA), and determined by square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV). Various factors influencing the determination of thallium(I) were thoroughly investigated. This modified electrode exhibits good resistance to interferences from surface-active compounds. The presence of EDTA effectively eliminated the interferences from metal ions, such as lead(II) and cadmium(II), which are generally considered as the major interferents in the determination of thallium at a mercury electrode. With 2-min preconcentration, linear calibration graphs were obtained over the range 0.05-100 ppb of thallium(I). An even lower detection limit, 0.01 ppb, were achieved with 5-min accumulation. The electrode is easy to prepare and can be readily renewed after each stripping experiment. Applicability of this procedure to various water samples is illustrated.  相似文献

Indomethacin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug possessing anti-pyretic and analgesic properties. A fully validated square-wave adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetric procedure is described for determination of indomethacin. The procedure was based on the reduction of the C=O double bond of the drug molecule in Britton-Robinson buffer (pH 4) after its preconcentration onto the mercury electrode surface. The optimized conditions of the procedure were: frequency 120 Hz, scan increment 10 mV, pulse amplitude 50 mV, preconcentration potential -0.9 V (vs. Ag/AgCl/KCl(s)) and preconcentration time 90 s. The proposed procedure was successfully applied for determination of the drug in tablets and human serum with good recoveries. The limits of detection in bulk form and human serum were 6.7 x 10(-10) mol L(-1) and 8.1 x 10(-10) mol L(-1), respectively.  相似文献

Diphenylphosphinite, 1,4-benzodiazepine 3-O-derivative, was converted into the corresponding imides by the Staudinger reaction with azides of diphenylphosphinic, diphenylthiophosphinic, and diphenylphosphoric acids. The imide derived from azide of diphenylthiophosphinic acid undergoes the isomerization into the corresponding thiol when heated in the presence of catalytic amounts of a substituted 3-chloro-1,4-benzodiazepine.  相似文献

A mercury film (MF) is prepared by an electrochemical deposition on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE), and employed for an analysis of hexahydro-1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazine (RDX) using square-wave stripping voltammetry (SWSV). RDX was deposited at -0.15 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) for 120 s, then reduced at -0.7 V on the MF coated GCE(MFGCE). Optimal experimental conditions were searched and reported for the analysis. Two linear concentration ranges were observed: one in a lower RDX concentration range of 0.2-10 mg l(-1) and the other in a higher RDX concentration range of 10.0-100.0 mg l(-1) with a 120 s of pre-concentration time. At RDX concentrations of 2 and 8 mg l(-1), the relative standard deviations in measured concentrations (n=16) were 9.79 and 0.49%, respectively. The detection limit found to be 0.12 mg l(-1) with the 120 s accumulation time. The method was applied to determine RDX in several soil samples that yielded a relative error of 1% in the concentrations.  相似文献

A substituted heterocyclic scaffold comprising a 1,4-benzodiazepine fused with a 1,2,3-triazole ring has been synthesized and diversified via a variety of refunctionalizations. The strategy features the rapid assembly of the scaffold by combining 3-4 reactants in an efficient multicomponent assembly process, followed by an intramolecular Huisgen cycloaddition.  相似文献

The two adsorptive stripping voltammetric approaches for detection and quantitative determination of diethyl (2E)-2-{(2E)-[1-(4-methylphenyl)imidazolidin-2-ylidene]hydrazinylidene}butanedioate (DIB)—a novel molecule of medical importance—using two sensitive sensors based on modified glassy carbon electrodes as reusable sensors, were developed for the first time. The proposed electrochemical methods are based on adsorptive/reductive behaviour of DIB at two modified carbonic electrodes: a bismuth film-modified glassy carbon electrode (BiF/GCE) and a lead film-modified glassy carbon electrode (PbF/GCE). The electron gain mechanism for the electrochemical reduction of DIB on both developed sensors was proposed for the first time. To achieve the highest sensitivity in adsorptive stripping determinations, various experimental variables (e.g. the composition and pH of the supporting electrolytes, deposition conditions of bismuth and lead films, concentrations of plating solutions, accumulation times and potentials of DIB, etc.) were extensively examined. The comparison of validation parameters obtained during the determination of DIB at two sensors was presented. The excellent linear correlation was found between the monitored adsorptive stripping voltammetric peak current and the DIB concentration in the range of 15–600 μg L−1 at an accumulation time of 30 s (with LOD = 4.2 μg L−1 and LOQ = 14.0 μg L−1) using the BiF/GCE as a sensor. Furthermore, the excellent linear relationship was confirmed between the monitored adsorptive stripping voltammetric peak current and the DIB concentration in the range of 9–900 μg L−1 at an accumulation time of 10 s (with better LOD = 1.5 μg L−1 and LOQ = 5.0 μg L−1), employing the PbF/GCE as a sensor. The two optimized adsorptive stripping voltammetric approaches—as facile, sensitive, reliable and inexpensive—were successfully used as first methods for the quantitative analysis of a novel anticancer agent (DIB) in its pure pharmaceutically acceptable form. However, the practical applicability of square-wave adsorptive stripping voltammetric determination of the electroactive DIB molecule at a PbF/GCE, as the modified electrode of higher sensitivity, was presented after its successful solid phase extraction from a real serum sample.
