In this paper we present a new approach to Grothendieck duality over commutative rings. Our approach is based on the idea of rigid dualizing complexes, which was introduced by Van den Bergh in the context of noncommutative algebraic geometry. The method of rigidity was modified to work over general commutative base rings in our paper (Yekutieli and Zhang, Trans AMS 360:3211–3248, 2008). In the present paper we obtain many of the important local features of Grothendieck duality, yet manage to avoid lengthy and difficult compatibility verifications. Our results apply to essentially finite type algebras over a regular noetherian finite dimensional base ring, and hence are suitable for arithmetic rings. In the sequel paper (Yekutieli, Rigid dualizing complexes on schemes, in preparation) these results will be used to construct and study rigid dualizing complexes on schemes. Let A be a finite-dimensional algebra over arbitrary base field k. We prove: if the unbounded derived module category D-(Mod-A) admits symmetric recollement relative to unbounded derived module categories of two finite-dimensional k-algebras B and C:D- (Mod - B) D-(Mod - A) D-(Mod - C),then the unbounded derived module category D-(Mod - T(A)) admits symmetric recollement relative to the unbounded derived module categories of T(B) and T(C):D-(Mod - T(B)) D-(Mod - T(A)) D-(Mod -T(C)).  相似文献

A new class of noncommutative algebras associated to complexes and graphs is introduced. Algebras associated to one-dimensional complexes are studied.  相似文献

When the base connected cochain DG algebra is cohomologically bounded, it is proved that the difference between the amplitude of a compact DG module and that of the DG algebra is just the projective dimension of that module. This yields the unboundedness of the cohomology of non-trivial regular DG algebras. When A is a regular DG algebra such that H(A) is a Koszul graded algebra, H(A) is proved to have the finite global dimension. And we give an example to illustrate that the global dimension of H(A) may be infinite, if the condition that H(A) is Koszul is weakened to the condition that A is a Koszul DG algebra. For a general regular DG algebra A, we give some equivalent conditions for the Gorensteiness. For a finite connected DG algebra A, we prove that Dc(A) and Dc(A op) admit Auslander-Reiten triangles if and only if A and A op are Gorenstein DG algebras. When A is a non-trivial regular DG algebra such that H(A) is locally finite, Dc(A) does not admit Auslander-Reiten triangles. We turn to study the existence of Auslander-Reiten triangles in Dlfb(A) and Dlfb (A op) instead, when A is a regular DG algebra. We consider a -ring homomorphism from a commutative Banach algebra with an involution to a commutative Banach algebra with a symmetric involution. We give the Gelfand transform of the -ring homomorphism image.

We define the BGP-reflection functors in the derived categories and the root categories. By Ringel's Hall algebra approach, the BGP-reflection functor is applicable to obtain the classical Weyl group action on the Lie algebra.  相似文献

Motivated by algebraic structures appearing in Rational Conformal Field Theory we study a construction associating to an algebra in a monoidal category a commutative algebra (full centre) in the monoidal centre of the monoidal category. We establish Morita invariance of this construction by extending it to module categories. As an example we treat the case of group-theoretical categories.  相似文献

Let m be a positive integer, not divisible by 2, 3, 5, 7. We generalize the classification of basic quasi-Hopf algebras over cyclic groups of prime order given in Etingof and Gelaki (2006) [11] to the case of cyclic groups of order m. To this end, we introduce a family of non-semisimple radically graded quasi-Hopf algebras A(H,s), constructed as subalgebras of Hopf algebras twisted by a quasi-Hopf twist, which are not twist equivalent to Hopf algebras. Any basic quasi-Hopf algebra over a cyclic group of order m is either semisimple, or is twist equivalent to a Hopf algebra or a quasi-Hopf algebra of type A(H,s).  相似文献

The varieties of dialgebras (also known as Loday-type algebras) over a given type of algebra have been the subject of multiple recent developments. We provide here a construction of such dialgebra varieties via bimodules over an algebra and a surjective equivariant map. Our construction is equivalent to the KP construction (Kolesnikov–Pozhidaev construction) when departing from the set of linearized identities of the algebra variety. The novel construction simplifies the obtention of the dialgebra equations without forcing a complete linearization of the algebra identities. We illustrate the use of the novel construction providing the dialgebras associated to several varieties of algebras, including those over diverse Lie admissible algebras. We provide some novel explorations on the structure of the dialgebras which are easily articulated through our construction.  相似文献

In this paper we generalize naturally graded filiform Lie algebras as well as filiform Lie algebras admitting a connected gradation of maximal length, by introducing the concept of c-graded complex filiform Lie algebras. We deal with the particular case of 3-graded filiform Lie algebras and we obtain their classification in arbitrary dimension. We finally show a link among derived algebras, graded filiform and rigid solvable Lie algebras.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop a formalism for working with representations of vertex and conformal algebras by generalized fields—formal power series involving non-integer powers of the variable. The main application of our technique is the construction of a large family of representations for the vertex superalgebra corresponding to an integer lattice Λ. For an automorphism coming from a finite-order automorphism we find the conditions for existence of twisted modules of . We show that the category of twisted representations of is semisimple with finitely many isomorphism classes of simple objects.  相似文献

In this article, we realize the finite range ultragraph Leavitt path algebras as Steinberg algebras. This realization allows us to use the groupoid approach to obtain structural results about these algebras. Using the skew product of groupoids, we show that ultragraph Leavitt path algebras are graded von Neumann regular rings. We characterize strongly graded ultragraph Leavitt path algebras and show that every ultragraph Leavitt path algebra is semiprimitive. Moreover, we characterize irreducible representations of ultragraph Leavitt path algebras. We also show that ultragraph Leavitt path algebras can be realized as Cuntz-Pimsner rings.  相似文献

We prove that if a (?/n?)-graded Lie algebra L = ? i=0 n?1 L i has d nontrivial components L i and the null component L 0 has finite dimension m, then L has a homogeneous solvable ideal of derived length bounded by a function of d and of codimension bounded by a function of m and d. An analogous result holds also for the (?/n?)-graded Lie rings L = ? i=0 n?1 with few nontrivial components L i if the null component L 0 has finite order m. These results generalize Kreknin’s theorem on the solvability of the (?/n?)-graded Lie rings L = ? i=0 n?1 L i with trivial component L 0 and Shalev’s theorem on the solvability of such Lie rings with few nontrivial components L i . The proof is based on the method of generalized centralizers which was created by E. I. Khukhro for Lie rings and nilpotent groups with almost regular automorphisms of prime order [1], as well as on the technique developed in the work of N. Yu. Makarenko and E. I. Khukhro on the almost solvability of Lie algebras with an almost regular automorphism of finite order [2].  相似文献

Using the quiver technique we construct a class of non-graded bi-Frobenius algebras. We also classify a class of graded bi-Frobenius algebras via certain equations of structure coefficients.  相似文献
