Conservative subtheories of ${{R}^{1}_{2}}$ and ${{S}^{1}_{2}}$ are presented. For ${{S}^{1}_{2}}$ , a slight tightening of Je?ábek??s result (Math Logic Q 52(6):613?C624, 2006) that ${T^{0}_{2} \preceq_{\forall \Sigma^{b}_{1}}S^{1}_{2}}$ is presented: It is shown that ${T^{0}_{2}}$ can be axiomatised as BASIC together with induction on sharply bounded formulas of one alternation. Within this ${\forall\Sigma^{b}_{1}}$ -theory, we define a ${\forall\Sigma^{b}_{0}}$ -theory, ${T^{-1}_{2}}$ , for the ${\forall\Sigma^{b}_{0}}$ -consequences of ${S^{1}_{2}}$ . We show ${T^{-1}_{2}}$ is weak by showing it cannot ${\Sigma^{b}_{0}}$ -define division by 3. We then consider what would be the analogous ${\forall\hat\Sigma^{b}_{1}}$ -conservative subtheory of ${R^{1}_{2}}$ based on Pollett (Ann Pure Appl Logic 100:189?C245, 1999. It is shown that this theory, ${{T}^{0,\left\{2^{(||\dot{id}||)}\right\}}_{2}}$ , also cannot ${\Sigma^{b}_{0}}$ -define division by 3. On the other hand, we show that ${{S}^{0}_{2}+open_{\{||id||\}}}$ -COMP is a ${\forall\hat\Sigma^{b}_{1}}$ -conservative subtheory of ${R^{1}_{2}}$ . Finally, we give a refinement of Johannsen and Pollett (Logic Colloquium?? 98, 262?C279, 2000) and show that ${\hat{C}^{0}_{2}}$ is ${\forall\hat\Sigma^{b}_{1}}$ -conservative over a theory based on open cl-comprehension.  相似文献

We study cohomological induction for a pair $ {\left( {\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{k}} \right)} $ , $ \mathfrak{g} $ being an infinitedimensional locally reductive Lie algebra and $ \mathfrak{k} \subset \mathfrak{g} $ being of the form $ \mathfrak{k}_{0} \subset C_{\mathfrak{g}} {\left( {\mathfrak{k}_{0} } \right)} $ , where $ \mathfrak{k}_{0} \subset \mathfrak{g} $ is a finite-dimensional reductive in $ \mathfrak{g} $ subalgebra and $ C_{\mathfrak{g}} {\left( {\mathfrak{k}_{0} } \right)} $ is the centralizer of $ \mathfrak{k}_{0} $ in $ \mathfrak{g} $ . We prove a general nonvanishing and $ \mathfrak{k} $ -finiteness theorem for the output. This yields, in particular, simple $ {\left( {\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{k}} \right)} $ -modules of finite type over k which are analogs of the fundamental series of generalized Harish-Chandra modules constructed in [PZ1] and [PZ2]. We study explicit versions of the construction when $ \mathfrak{g} $ is a root-reductive or diagonal locally simple Lie algebra.  相似文献

Let ${\Phi}$ be a continuous, strictly increasing and concave function on (0, ∞) of critical lower type index ${p_\Phi^- \in(0,\,1]}$ . Let L be an injective operator of type ω having a bounded H functional calculus and satisfying the k-Davies–Gaffney estimates with ${k \in {\mathbb Z}_+}$ . In this paper, the authors first introduce an Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ in terms of the non-tangential L-adapted square function and then establish its molecular characterization. As applications, the authors prove that the generalized Riesz transform ${D_{\gamma}L^{-\delta/(2k)}}$ is bounded from the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz space ${L^{\widetilde{\Phi}}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^- \in (0, \frac{n}{n+ \delta - \gamma}]}$ , ${0 < \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\widetilde \Phi}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^-\in (\frac{n}{n + \delta+ \lfloor \gamma \rfloor- \gamma},\,\frac{n}{n+ \delta- \gamma}]}$ , ${1\le \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the weak Orlicz–Hardy space ${WH^\Phi(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${\gamma = \delta}$ and ${p_\Phi=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ or ${p_\Phi^-=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ with ${p_\Phi^-}$ attainable, where ${\widetilde{\Phi}}$ is an Orlicz function whose inverse function ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}}$ is defined by ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}(t):=\Phi^{-1}(t)t^{\frac{1}{n}(\gamma- \delta)}}$ for all ${t \in (0,\,\infty)}$ , ${p_\Phi}$ denotes the strictly critical lower type index of ${\Phi}$ , ${\lfloor \gamma \rfloor}$ the maximal integer not more than ${\gamma}$ and ${(p_-(L),\,p_+(L))}$ the range of exponents ${p \in[1,\, \infty]}$ for which the semigroup ${\{e^{-tL}\}_{t >0 }}$ is bounded on ${L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{A}_{\lambda}^2(\mathbb{B}^n)}$ denote the standard weighted Bergman space over the unit ball ${\mathbb{B}^n}$ in ${\mathbb{C}^n}$ . New classes of commutative Banach algebras ${\mathcal{T}(\lambda)}$ which are generated by Toeplitz operators on ${\mathcal{A}_{\lambda}^2(\mathbb{B}^n)}$ have been recently discovered in Vasilevski (Integr Equ Oper Theory 66(1):141?C152, 2010). These algebras are induced by the action of the quasi-elliptic group of biholomorphisms of ${\mathbb{B}^n}$ . In the present paper we analyze in detail the internal structure of such an algebra in the lowest dimensional case n?=?2. We explicitly describe the maximal ideal space and the Gelfand map of ${\mathcal{T}(\lambda)}$ . Since ${\mathcal{T}(\lambda)}$ is not invariant under the *-operation of ${\mathcal{L}(\mathcal{A}_{\lambda}^2(\mathbb{B}^n))}$ its inverse closedness is not obvious and is proved. We remark that the algebra ${\mathcal{T}(\lambda)}$ is not semi-simple and we derive its radical. Several applications of our results are given and, in particular, we conclude that the essential spectrum of elements in ${\mathcal{T}(\lambda)}$ is always connected.  相似文献

We consider regular oblique derivative problem in cylinder Q T ?=????× (0, T), ${\Omega\subset {\mathbb R}^n}$ for uniformly parabolic operator ${{{\mathfrak P}}=D_t- \sum_{i,j=1}^n a^{ij}(x)D_{ij}}$ with VMO principal coefficients. Its unique strong solvability is proved in Manuscr. Math. 203?C220 (2000), when ${{{\mathfrak P}}u\in L^p(Q_T)}$ , ${p\in(1,\infty)}$ . Our aim is to show that the solution belongs to the generalized Sobolev?CMorrey space ${W^{2,1}_{p,\omega}(Q_T)}$ , when ${{{\mathfrak P}}u\in L^{p,\omega} (Q_T)}$ , ${p\in (1, \infty)}$ , ${\omega(x,r):\,{\mathbb R}^{n+1}_+\to {\mathbb R}_+}$ . For this goal an a priori estimate is obtained relying on explicit representation formula for the solution. Analogous result holds also for the Cauchy?CDirichlet problem.  相似文献

We study a class of quadratic p-ary functions ${{\mathcal{F}}_{p,n}}$ from ${\mathbb{F}_{p^n}}$ to ${\mathbb{F}_p, p \geq 2}$ , which are well-known to have plateaued Walsh spectrum; i.e., for each ${b \in \mathbb{F}_{p^n}}$ the Walsh transform ${\hat{f}(b)}$ satisfies ${|\hat{f}(b)|^2 \in \{ 0, p^{(n+s)}\}}$ for some integer 0 ≤ s ≤ n ? 1. For various types of integers n, we determine possible values of s, construct ${{\mathcal{F}}_{p,n}}$ with prescribed spectrum, and present enumeration results. Our work generalizes some of the earlier results, in characteristic two, of Khoo et. al. (Des Codes Cryptogr, 38, 279–295, 2006) and Charpin et al. (IEEE Trans Inf Theory 51, 4286–4298, 2005) on semi-bent functions, and of Fitzgerald (Finite Fields Appl 15, 69–81, 2009) on quadratic forms.  相似文献

We study CR functions with values in a complex Fréchet space X. We prove a vector valued analog to a result by Baouendi and Trèves (Ann Math 113:387–421, 1981), i.e. any X-valued CR function of Teodorescu class B 1 may be locally approximated by X-valued holomorphic functions on ${{\mathbb C}^n}$ . We show that any CR function ${u \in C^\omega (M, X)}$ on a real analytic CR hypersurface ${M \subset {\mathbb {C}}^n}$ admits a unique holomorphic extension ${f \in {\mathcal {O}}(\Omega, X)}$ to some open neighborhood ${\Omega \supset M}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{P}}$ be a nonparametric probability model consisting of smooth probability densities and let ${\hat{p}_{n}}$ be the corresponding maximum likelihood estimator based on n independent observations each distributed according to the law ${\mathbb{P}}$ . With $\hat{\mathbb{P}}_{n}$ denoting the measure induced by the density ${\hat{p}_{n}}$ , define the stochastic process ${\hat{\nu}}_{n}: f\longmapsto \sqrt{n} \int fd({\hat{\mathbb{P}}}_{n} -\mathbb{P})$ where f ranges over some function class ${\mathcal{F}}$ . We give a general condition for Donsker classes ${\mathcal{F}}$ implying that the stochastic process $\hat{\nu}_{n}$ is asymptotically equivalent to the empirical process in the space ${\ell ^{\infty }(\mathcal{F})}$ of bounded functions on ${ \mathcal{F}}$ . This implies in particular that $\hat{\nu}_{n}$ converges in law in ${\ell ^{\infty }(\mathcal{F})}$ to a mean zero Gaussian process. We verify the general condition for a large family of Donsker classes ${\mathcal{ F}}$ . We give a number of applications: convergence of the probability measure ${\hat{\mathbb{P}}_{n}}$ to ${\mathbb{P}}$ at rate ${\sqrt{n}}$ in certain metrics metrizing the topology of weak(-star) convergence; a unified treatment of convergence rates of the MLE in a continuous scale of Sobolev-norms; ${\sqrt{n}}$ -efficient estimation of nonlinear functionals defined on ${\mathcal{P}}$ ; limit theorems at rate ${\sqrt{n}}$ for the maximum likelihood estimator of the convolution product ${\mathbb{P\ast P}}$ .  相似文献

We consider a closed semi-algebraic set ${X \subset \mathbb{R}^n}$ and a C 2 semi-algebraic function ${f : \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow\mathbb{R}}$ such that ${f_{\vert X}}$ has a finite number of critical points. We relate the topology of X to the topology of the sets ${X \cap \{ f * \alpha \}}$ , where ${* \in \{\le,=,\ge \}}$ and ${\alpha \in \mathbb{R}}$ , and the indices of the critical points of ${f_{\vert X}}$ and ${-f_{\vert X}}$ . We also relate the topology of X to the topology of the links at infinity of the sets ${X \cap \{ f * \alpha\}}$ and the indices of these critical points. We give applications when ${X=\mathbb{R}^n}$ and when f is a generic linear function.  相似文献

In this paper, we show that the extended modular group ${\hat{\Gamma}}$ acts on ${\hat{\mathbb{Q}}}$ transitively and imprimitively. Then the number of orbits of ${\hat{\Gamma} _{0}(N)}$ on ${\hat{\mathbb{Q}}}$ is calculated and compared with the number of orbits of ${\Gamma _{0}(N)}$ on ${\hat{\mathbb{Q}}}$ . Especially, we obtain the graphs ${\hat{G}_{u, N}}$ of ${\hat{\Gamma}_{0}(N)}$ on ${\hat{\mathbb{Q}}}$ , for each ${N\in\mathbb{N}}$ and each unit ${u \in U_{N} }$ , then we determine the suborbital graph ${\hat{F}_{u,N}}$ . We also give the edge conditions in ${\hat{G}_{u, N}}$ and the necessary and sufficient conditions for a circuit to be triangle in ${\hat{F}_{u, N}.}$   相似文献

Let ${\vartheta}$ be a measure on the polydisc ${\mathbb{D}^n}$ which is the product of n regular Borel probability measures so that ${\vartheta([r,1)^n\times\mathbb{T}^n) >0 }$ for all 0 < r < 1. The Bergman space ${A^2_{\vartheta}}$ consists of all holomorphic functions that are square integrable with respect to ${\vartheta}$ . In one dimension, it is well known that if f is continuous on the closed disc ${\overline{\mathbb{D}}}$ , then the Hankel operator H f is compact on ${A^2_\vartheta}$ . In this paper we show that for n ≥ 2 and f a continuous function on ${{\overline{\mathbb{D}}}^n}$ , H f is compact on ${A^2_\vartheta}$ if and only if there is a decomposition f = h + g, where h belongs to ${A^2_\vartheta}$ and ${\lim_{z\to\partial\mathbb{D}^n}g(z)=0}$ .  相似文献

Triebel (J Approx Theory 35:275–297, 1982; 52:162–203, 1988) investigated the boundary values of the harmonic functions in spaces of the Triebel–Lizorkin type ${\mathcal F^{\alpha,q}_{p}}$ on ${\mathbb{R}^{n+1}_+}$ by finding an characterization of the homogeneous Triebel–Lizorkin space ${{\bf \dot{F}}^{\alpha,q}_p}$ via its harmonic extension, where ${0 < p < \infty, 0 < q \leq \infty}$ , and ${\alpha < {\rm min}\{-n/p, -n/q\}}$ . In this article, we extend Triebel’s result to α < 0 and ${0 < p, q \leq \infty}$ by using a discrete version of reproducing formula and discretizing the norms in both ${\mathcal{F}^{\alpha,q}_{p}}$ and ${{\bf{\dot{F}}}^{\alpha,q}_p}$ . Furthermore, for α < 0 and ${1 < p,q \leq \infty}$ , the mapping from harmonic functions in ${\mathcal{F}^{\alpha,q}_{p}}$ to their boundary values forms a topological isomorphism between ${\mathcal{F}^{\alpha,q}_{p}}$ and ${{\bf \dot{F}}^{\alpha,q}_p}$ .  相似文献

We classify hypersurfaces of rank two of Euclidean space ${\mathbb{R}^{n+1}}$ that admit genuine isometric deformations in ${\mathbb{R}^{n+2}}$ . That an isometric immersion ${\hat{f}\colon M^n \to \mathbb{R}^{n+2}}$ is a genuine isometric deformation of a hypersurface ${f\colon M^n\to\mathbb{R}^{n+1}}$ means that ${\hat f}$ is nowhere a composition ${\hat f=\hat F\circ f}$ , where ${\hat{F} \colon V\subset \mathbb{R}^{n+1} \to\mathbb{R}^{n+2}}$ is an isometric immersion of an open subset V containing the hypersurface.  相似文献

Given Banach spaces X and Y, we show that, for each operator-valued analytic map ${\alpha \in \mathcal O (D,\mathcal L(Y,X))}$ satisfying the finiteness condition ${\dim (X/\alpha (z)Y) < \infty}$ pointwise on an open set D in ${\mathbb {C}^n}$ , the induced multiplication operator ${\mathcal O(U,Y) \stackrel{\alpha}{\longrightarrow} \mathcal O (U,X)}$ has closed range on each Stein open set ${U \subset D}$ . As an application we deduce that the generalized range ${{\rm R}^{\infty}(T) = \bigcap_{k \geq 1}\sum_{| \alpha | = k} T^{\alpha}X}$ of a commuting multioperator ${T \in \mathcal L(X)^n}$ with ${\dim(X/\sum_{i=1}^n T_iX) < \infty}$ can be represented as a suitable spectral subspace.  相似文献

We introduce vanishing generalized Morrey spaces ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\Omega), \Omega \subseteq \mathbb{R}^n}$ with a general function ${\varphi(x, r)}$ defining the Morrey-type norm. Here ${\Pi \subseteq \Omega}$ is an arbitrary subset in Ω including the extremal cases ${\Pi = \{x_0\}, x_0 \in \Omega}$ and Π = Ω, which allows to unify vanishing local and global Morrey spaces. In the spaces ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n)}$ we prove the boundedness of a class of sublinear singular operators, which includes Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and Calderon-Zygmund singular operators with standard kernel. We also prove a Sobolev-Spanne type ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n) \rightarrow V\mathcal{L}^{q,\varphi^\frac{q}{p}}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n)}$ -theorem for the potential operator I α . The conditions for the boundedness are given in terms of Zygmund-type integral inequalities on ${\varphi(x, r)}$ . No monotonicity type condition is imposed on ${\varphi(x, r)}$ . In case ${\varphi}$ has quasi- monotone properties, as a consequence of the main results, the conditions of the boundedness are also given in terms of the Matuszeska-Orlicz indices of the function ${\varphi}$ . The proofs are based on pointwise estimates of the modulars defining the vanishing spaces  相似文献

In recent years, the integral representation problems have been studied in many context and generalities. For example, for the monogenic and meta functions in some Clifford type algebras, see [10, 11]. In this paper we construct a Cauchy-Pompeiu type formula for meta-monogenic operator of order ${n, (D-\lambda)^n, \lambda \in \mathbb{R}}$ , and its conjugate ${(\overline{D} - \lambda)^n}$ in a Clifford algebra depending on parameters ${\mathcal{A}_n(2, \alpha_j, \gamma_{ij})}$ . Using these explicit representation formula of Cauchy-Pompeiu type we will show some applications.  相似文献

We consider the groups ${\mathrm{Diff }}_\mathcal{B }(\mathbb{R }^n)$ , ${\mathrm{Diff }}_{H^\infty }(\mathbb{R }^n)$ , and ${\mathrm{Diff }}_{\mathcal{S }}(\mathbb{R }^n)$ of smooth diffeomorphisms on $\mathbb{R }^n$ which differ from the identity by a function which is in either $\mathcal{B }$ (bounded in all derivatives), $H^\infty = \bigcap _{k\ge 0}H^k$ , or $\mathcal{S }$ (rapidly decreasing). We show that all these groups are smooth regular Lie groups.  相似文献

Let A be an expansive dilation on ${{\mathbb R}^n}$ and w a Muckenhoupt ${\mathcal A_\infty(A)}$ weight. In this paper, for all parameters ${\alpha\in{\mathbb R} }$ and ${p,q\in(0,\infty)}$ , the authors identify the dual spaces of weighted anisotropic Besov spaces ${\dot B^\alpha_{p,q}(A;w)}$ and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces ${\dot F^\alpha_{p,q}(A;w)}$ with some new weighted Besov-type and Triebel?CLizorkin-type spaces. The corresponding results on anisotropic Besov spaces ${\dot B^\alpha_{p,q}(A; \mu)}$ and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces ${\dot F^\alpha_{p,q}(A; \mu)}$ associated with ${\rho_A}$ -doubling measure??? are also established. All results are new even for the classical weighted Besov and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces in the isotropic setting. In particular, the authors also obtain the ${\varphi}$ -transform characterization of the dual spaces of the classical weighted Hardy spaces on ${{\mathbb R}^n}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{A}}$ be a collection of n linear hyperplanes in ${\mathbb{k}^\ell}$ , where ${\mathbb{k}}$ is an algebraically closed field. The Orlik-Terao algebra of ${\mathcal{A}}$ is the subalgebra ${{\rm R}(\mathcal{A})}$ of the rational functions generated by reciprocals of linear forms vanishing on hyperplanes of ${\mathcal{A}}$ . It determines an irreducible subvariety ${Y (\mathcal{A})}$ of ${\mathbb{P}^{n-1}}$ . We show that a flat X of ${\mathcal{A}}$ is modular if and only if ${{\rm R}(\mathcal{A})}$ is a split extension of the Orlik-Terao algebra of the subarrangement ${\mathcal{A}_X}$ . This provides another refinement of Stanley’s modular factorization theorem [34] and a new characterization of modularity, similar in spirit to the fibration theorem of [27]. We deduce that if ${\mathcal{A}}$ is supersolvable, then its Orlik-Terao algebra is Koszul. In certain cases, the algebra is also a complete intersection, and we characterize when this happens.  相似文献

In this paper we study the Wigner transform for a class of smooth Bloch wave functions on the flat torus ${\mathbb{T}^n = \mathbb{R}^n /2\pi \mathbb{Z}^n}$ : $$\psi_{\hbar,P} (x) = a (\hbar,P,x) {\rm e}^{ \frac{i}{\hbar} ( P\cdot x + \hat{v}(\hbar,P,x) )}.$$ On requiring that ${P \in \mathbb{Z}^n}$ and ${\hbar = 1/N}$ with ${N \in \mathbb{N}}$ , we select amplitudes and phase functions through a variational approach in the quantum states space based on a semiclassical version of the classical effective Hamiltonian ${{\bar H}(P)}$ which is the central object of the weak KAM theory. Our main result is that the semiclassical limit of the Wigner transform of ${\psi_{\hbar,P}}$ admits subsequences converging in the weak* sense to Mather probability measures on the phase space. These measures are invariant for the classical dynamics and Action minimizing.  相似文献
